  1. I've had a lot of fun booking GBWF. My user character is a multi-millionaire, and an ex MMA promoter, who is extremely in bringing British wrestling back to its glory days. He decided to inject some extra money into the company in order to realize his vision. The most fun storyline started a year into the save, after GBWF turned cult sized. That was when I brought in James Gilmour, who started his heel stable, Legacy. The stable was made up of Gilmour, Ash Evans, Vincent Jackson and a repackaged Kosmo Supreme, now Kyle Hart. This stable of second generation stars won all the gold on their first major event as a unit, in May 2017, with the use of dirty heel tactics. James Gilmour was the World Heavyweight champ, Kyle Hart was the European champ, Evans and Jackson were tag champs. I had them beat up and injure Daniel Hart at the next weekly event when Daniel Hart pleaded for Gilmour to man up and stop cheating. In August, at the biggest event of the year, Wrestle Britannia, I had Daniel Hart return with Nick and Scott Hart, as well as Clayton Bennett. The Hart brothers won the tag gold from Evans and Jackson and looked to be stopping the dominant run of Legacy. At the October monthly event, they lost the tag titles titles back to Evans and Jackson. On the same card, James Gilmour dropped his World Heavyweight title back to the previous champion, Darren Williams. Clayton Bennett was unable to take Kyle Hart's European title, despite two attempts. James Gilmour started to look weak after this event as he was unable to regain his World Heavyweight title in 2 attempts. The rest of Legacy defended their titles. At the December monthly event, I had Gilmour lose to Williams for the third time. Meanwhile, the Vincent Jackson won a ladder match to win the Destiny Contract, essentially a MITB copy. James Gilmour came out to celebrate with Jackson. As Gilmour was taunting his rival who was on special guest commentary, Darren Williams, Jackson hit him with the briefcase and assaulted him. The rest of Legacy joined Jackson to beat down their former leader. I plan on having Jackson, now the new leader of Legacy, to introduce a new member at the first weekly event of the 2018. The new member of Legacy will be Jarid Hart, which will be interesting because of the family feud dynamic between Jarid and the Hart brothers. I will also write Gilmour off the show with an injury and have him join the Hart brothers on his return. I really enjoyed booking this whole storyline and I feel that this mod goes really in depth into relationships between workers and the lore of the game world.

In the tweet, he also mentioned that the GBWF would also be parting ways with EuroSportsNetwork, who aired the first two Night Of Glory events. This broadcasting deal is a monumental step up from the one previous as the Paige Broadcasting Network is a huge platform for mainstream content. This deal shows the GBWF management's commitment to bringing the promotion mainstream and to the masses. </span></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="DmjILIf.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DmjILIf.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;">Another tweet by Jules Bennett stated that GBWF Night Of Glory, the GBWF's weekly event, will be broadcast on Paige-Three: UK at 6pm on Fridays. 4. Wrestling News World Week 2 Wednesday, January, 2016 Wrestling News World: GBWF Signs New Talent; Exclusive Interview With Jules Bennett As we all know, the Great Britain Wrestling Federation had a change in management not too long ago. Jules Bennett, the millionaire that revolutionized MMA, took over from previous owner, professional wrestling, Daniel Hart. One of the big takeaways from Bennett's pre-event press release last Friday was his strong interest in a few wrestlers. All three wrestlers mentioned were all working on the independent circuit at the time. This morning, it was revealed on the official GBWF website that Bennett had got his way and signed the three wrestlers mentioned as well as another capable talent. We also got an exclusive interview with Jules Bennett, who was very nice to speak to one of our the members of our Wrestling News World team before he headed to a meeting. In this interview, we asked him some questions about the new fighters and about the GBWF Genesis show. GBWF New Additions Das Feuer The self proclaimed most electrifying man in European wrestling, the athletic heavyweight Das Feuer (known outside of wrestling as Kurt Onula) was a rising star in RDW and before its closure in 2010, a feud between Onula & the nefarious Javier del Toro was supposed to bring a new boom period in RDW. Working in IWF alongside his duties in RDW, Onula's charisma and natural charm saw him land several roles on TV shows across Europe. Never once leaving IWF, the acting roles meant he was always a bit part player - occasionally winning the Tag Team or Roman championships but never winning the big one. This changed in 2013 when a break in his schedule allowed him to finally be crowned the IWF Italian champion. Leaving IWF in 2015 after being offered a role in a major film, Onula came back to wrestling with a one shot appearance at CWE's opening show. Now working in the GBWF, Onula will be trying to break into a new market and appeal to a tough British crowd. Eoin Farraway Debuting out of nowhere in 2009 for RDW, Eoin Farraway was a boxer and MMA fighter out of Northern Ireland who was trained in the RDW school with intentions to mold him into a homegrown star. With an intense look and rapidly developing wrestling skills, especially teaming with Roger Gilmour as The Edge, many thought Farraway would go far. Unfortunately for Farraway, RDW would close in 2010, only 10 months after his debut. After unsuccessful stints in N-EW and ATW, Farraway would return to MMA until a one-off match for ICW and the debut of CWE convinced him he could very well be a wrestling star yet. Joining GBWF in 2016, Farraway will be trying to prove himself again after his time away from professional wrestling and perhaps finally fulfill his huge potential. Sean Girven Perhaps one of the most talented workers to come out of the United Kingdom, Sean Girven combines gritty chain wrestling with an animalistic intensity and stiff brawling skills. Despite having all the tools to succeed, for some reason Girven's career had been uneventful until a tour with DIASPORA, which earned him rave reviews. This opened the door to a UPJ tour, and while Girven left after the tour was done, he has appeared as a headliner for several major Japanese independent shows. Along the way, he, Alejandro Iglesias and Nathan Jordan have become fast friends, and with them Girven has really made a name for himself. Still working shows across the UK and Japan, Girven could very well be on the verge of a big break. Girven has also recently made appearances for TOTAL!, working several matches with Chris Lancer that have really helped out the young technician. Now working for the biggest British wrestling promotion, the GBWF, Girven will be looking for his big break and will also be looking to introduce his incredible technical wrestling to the world. Roger Gilmour Roger Gilmour is best remembered as the tag partner to Eoin Farraway in RDW, working as The Edge. While Farraway was by far the upcoming star of the two in both the company and the fan's eyes, Gilmour, being a solid worker with years of experience under his belt (having debuted at 17 years old), was able to help Farraway develop his skills in the ring. In fact, the two were slated to have a run with the RDW tag team titles, but plans to push Farraway as a singles star, and the death of RDW, put paid to the plans. Gilmour would continue to work the UK and European indy scenes with several N-EW tours under his belt, and has been looked up to as someone who wrestles to his fullest despite never breaking into the top of the card. He will look to break that stigma as he joins the most prolific professional wrestling promotion in the British Isles. Exclusive Interview With Jules Bennett "Mr Bennett, we understand that you have brought in four(4) new talents. Can you tell us more about the mentality you had as you made these signings and where you see them in five(5) years." Jules Bennett We brought in these wrestlers with the mentality of bolstering the roster in order for it to put on more shows and deliver more, as well as higher quality, content to the fans of the company. I can see them all gelling well into the locker room, working and performing at an upper midcard level. Perhaps we could even see one or two breaking into the main event and challenge for the World Championship. "We are also curious about the nature of the GBWF Genesis show. Where are you planning to hold the event? What are plans regarding the promotion and broadcasting of this event" Jules Bennett "Good question. The Genesis event will be held at the Norwich Indoor Arena, the same place in which we held our first Night Of Glory show. We are in talks with the Paige Broadcasting Group with regards to airing shows on Paige-Three: UK. This deal would be greatly influential in the growth of GBWF and we will be doing everything in our power to make sure it goes through. Promotion of the Genesis event will be large scale across the UK, specifically in London and Manchester areas. Promotional material and merchandise will roll out next week. Alright, thank you for your questions, I have to leave for a meeting, see you at the shows."
  5. GBWF Night Of Glory 1 Week 1 Friday, January, 2016 6:00pm GBWF Night Of Glory 1 Reed Maxwell "Welcome... to Night Of Glory! I'm Reed Maxwell, this is Matt Connors, and we will be bringing you the very first edition of GBWF Night Of Glory! I am so exciting to see what tonight will bring! The card for tonight's show is star studded with all three champions defending their titles, everything is on the line! We are set to be in for a great show! Here comes the man in charge, Mr Bennett, to kick us off!" Jules Bennett "Everyone in the Norwich Indoor Arena, are you ready for the show?! You are going to be in for a treat because tonight's show is jam packed with action! All three of our champions will be defending their belts in what is sure to be a fantastic show! Now, let's this show underway!" Reed Maxwell "You heard the man, let's get this show on the road!" Fight 8 Dante Gregory and Tucker Neville-Thomas vs Shayne Whittington and Ash Evans A former GBWF World Heavyweight Champion, Ash Evans and his tag partner, Shayne Whittington, defeats the team of Dante Gregory and Tucker Neville-Thomas. Ash Evans looked raring to go from the start and brought it to Dante Gregory, who was unable to land any hits of significance. The tables turned when Dante got the hot tag to his partner, who instantly made an impact by nailing Evans with a springboard knee strike that stunned the former champion. Tucker did not slow down and continued to wail on Evans, who eventually fought back to his feet but was still looking a little unstable. Shayne Whittington started call out for a tag but was ignored by Evans, who looked to want to get the win all by himself. He went blow for blow with Tucker, who made the mistake for going for a clothesline as Evans was able to avoid it and use the momentum to nail him with a Discus Elbow Strike, which ended the bout by way of pinfall. Rating: 54 Fight 7 Davey Thomas vs Anton Mustafa In a bout that did little to fire up the crowd, Anton Mustafa and Davey Thomas went head to head, with Mustafa coming out the victor after dropping an elbow from the top rope on his downed opponent. Rating: 14 Fight 6 Gene Sheridan and Tony Portslade vs Nathan Anderson and Alroy Farrelly A bout between two midcard tag teams did well to warm up the crowd after a poor match. Gene Sheridan and Tony Portslade are a team that consists of a capable young rookie and a grizzled veteran. Portslade, being the veteran showed the young Sheridan how it was done by keeping Alroy Farrelly at bay with a few strikes before running off the ropes and nailing Farrelly with a clothesline. Portslade was firmly in control before a low blow by Farrelly while his teammate, Nathan Anderson, distracted the referee put Farrelly on top. Portslade fought valiantly and eventually caught Farrelly with a belly to belly suplex as he was running on the ropes. Portslade got the hot tag to his rookie tag partner, who proceeded to hit Farrelly with big move after big move, but was caught out by a hot tag. Nathan Anderson went blow for blow with Sheridan but came out on the losing end as Sheridan hit a devastating spinning backhand and hit a beautiful standing Shooting Star Press that finished the match. Rating: 42 Fight 5 GBWF European Title BJ Powers© vs Anders Vradenberg A bout that pit two very capable wrestlers against each other was sure to deliver, and deliver it did. The two looked evenly matched at the start of the bout, with both men getting adequate offence against the other. The odds began to shift towards the defending European Champion when he busted Vradenberg open with an uppercut and slammed him to the ground with a belly to belly suplex. BJ proceed to wear Vradenberg down with his signature wild strikes before picking him up onto his shoulders for his finisher, the Spinning Cutter. Vradenberg countered the move and drove BJ into the ground head first with a reverse DDT. Both men were struggling to get to their feet. BJ got up first and saw Vradenberg on all fours, unable to recover. He thought on his feet and sent a devastating knee into the skull of Vradenberg who looked to be knocked out cold. Unrelenting, he continued to beat down the unconscious Vradenberg ruthlessly, leading to the referee ending the fight by stoppage. BJ Powers retains his GBWF European Title. Rating: 58 Reed Maxwell "Disgusting! What an unsportsmanlike performance from BJ Powers! He could have seriously injured his opponent! Well, there he is, still the GBWF European Champion, retaining his title in a win by referee stoppage." *Bad Boy [Dale Cannon's theme]* "Matt! That's Dale Cannon! What's he doing out here?! BJ is in shock, he's facing the ramp, mouth agape." Dale Cannon "BJ, you think you're tough? You think you're tough for punting a helpless opponent in the head. You think you're tough for continuing to beat that opponent down while he's unconscious? You sicken me. I-" BJ Powers "You're damn right I'm tough! I'm the European Champion! You're nothing but MacKenzie's bitch! Oh ho ho! You're pissed? What're you gonna do? Nothing!" Dale Cannon "I'm going to run down to the ring, break you limb from limb and lift that title above my head, resting my foot on your back as you're sprawled out unconscious." BJ Powers "I'd like to see you try." Reed Maxwell "BJ, you better be careful what you wish for! Cannon's running down the ramp! He's takes down BJ! His title belt is sent flying halfway across the ring! Ground and pound, BJ is defenceless! Cannon picks him up and throws him into the ropes, clothesline! BJ ducks under and connects with his own clothesline! He picks up his title belt and taunts Cannon as he clutches the belt to his chest. Cannon gets up... BJ smashes the European title into the head on Cannon! Cannon's on the ground in a heap! BJ is laughing!" BJ Powers "You were saying? You're nothing! I am the future of this company! I am the European Champion and no one, not you, not even Jules Bennett can take this away from me!" *Authority [Jules Bennett's theme]* Jules Bennett "Is that right BJ? You know, you really should watch what you say, because it can come back to bite you in the ass. At Night Of Glory 2 next week, you will be defending your title against Cannon... in a no holds barred match.' BJ Powers "You think that he'll be fit to fight next week after I'm done with him here tonight? Fool." Jules Bennett "You're not going to lay another finger on him." BJ Powers "What're YOU going to do? Stop me?" Jules Bennett "If you lay a finger on him, you will be stripped of your European Title and will never get another shot at the title. Now get the hell out of that ring!" Reed Maxwell "Don't mess with the boss! BJ is getting of the ring and heading up the ramp, he flips off Bennett and the audience and raises the European title above his head! The crowd are booing him out of the building!" Fight 4 Ryan Jarvis vs Rick Sage After a great match and a tense confrontation between BJ Powers and Dale Cannon that led to Jules Bennett setting up a match for the next show, the crowd were red hot. The clash between two veterans, who were no strangers to each other, having fought for the European title back in 2010, delivered a good back and forth encounter that showed that neither man had lost their edge. The match started slow but slowly escalated into a strong technical showcase by two men who were quite well versed in technical wrestling. Ryan Jarvis eventually came out on top over his old rival after he managed to cinch in a Kimura lock that force Rick Sage to tap out whilst screaming in agony. Rating: 46 Fight 3 GBWF British Tag Team Titles Eliminator and Operative© vs Arran Lennox and Owen Richmond In a fight for the tag team titles, both teams look strong and cohesive, especially The Straffordshire Saints, the team of Arran Lennox and Owen Richmond, who looked to be almost telepathic throughout the bout. The match started strong with Eliminator and Owen Richmond going at it. Eliminator looked to have the edge in the early running as he easily overpowered Richmond. The power advantage began to snowball as Richmond was hurt and got worn out trying to overcome the disparity in physical strength. The playing field was leveled when Richmond finally managed to bring Eliminator down with a chop block after ducking under a clothesline attempt. A step up enzuigiri later, Richmond got the hot tag to his partner, Lennox. Arran Lennox was on fire and ran laps around Eliminator. A flurry of leg kicks to the big man left him limping around as Lennox brought the beat down to him. The team of Lennox and Richmond kept Eliminator in their corner and did all they could to take him out. However, the bulky 100 kilo beast just would not stay down. As they went for their finishing maneuver on what looked to be a beat down Eliminator, they were both nailed with a clothesline. The big man got his hot tag and the tables had turned. The pair of tag team champions methodically dismantled Richmond and finished him off with a big tag team maneuver, a Powerbomb Neckbreaker. Rating:54 Co-Main Event GBWF World Heavyweight Title Darren Williams© vs Douglas Pallett An incredible match-up with loads of potential, these two are two of the biggest stars in Britain. Darren Williams, trained by Sir Reginald Evans, a legend on the European professional wrestling scene. His time in GBWF has seen him go from strength to strength, until finally being crowned GBWF World Heavyweight Champion. Douglas Pallett is perhaps the nation's biggest ever draw, having seen his peak in the 90s, a 6 time GBWF World Heavyweight Champion, Pallett was the flag-bearer for British wrestling and is an icon of the sport in his native England. Since losing the World Heavyweight Title in 2013, he has been starving for another run with the belt. Tonight, as he gets a shot against the young Londoner, he will make sure to make the most of it. Darren Williams is the aggressor as the match gets underway. Keen to retain his title, Williams locks up with Pallett and tries to overpower the veteran and bring him to the ground. Pallett is no pushover and fights back. The two are in a stalemate. Williams breaks the stalemate, mustering up enough strength to force Pallett into the ropes. He Irish whips Pallett and goes for a flying knee that Pallett sees coming from a mile away. The experience star dodges the knee and goes for a Haymaker. Williams slips the punch and grabs hold of the Pallett's arm, bringing him to the ground. The defending champion locks in a Crippler Crossface, wrenching on the arm of his challenger. Pallett is screaming in pain as he edges towards the bottom rope. He reaches the rope and Williams is forced to break the hold. Williams knows Pallett is vulnerable and goes on the assault. Pallett rolls out of the ring. Williams sees Pallett leaning onto the ring apron of the outside and goes for a baseball slide. Pallett evades the move and leaves Williams looking like a fool. Pallett is still in obvious discomfort as he clutches his left arm and walks towards the recovering Williams. He shakes off the pain and starts to rain shots on the champion, who has no answer for the relentless assault. Pallett tucks the head of Williams under his arm and lifts him up. Brainbuster! Williams' head connects with the floor and is left in a heap. The referee is at the count of six. Pallett knows he has to pin or submit Williams if he wants to win the title. He throws Williams back into the ring. He performs his signature taunt, signaling his finisher, and picks Williams up for a Pallett Driver, a sit-out reverse Piledriver. Pallett kicks Williams in the midsection and taunts Williams as he's hunched over, he wants to savour what would be his seventh World Heavyweight Title win. The crowd are split as they both cheer and boo the veteran challenger. Pallett has given a few crucial seconds to regroup. Big mistake. Williams looked out of it as he was hunched over and ready to meet his fate but found the energy in those split seconds to hit Pallett with a Spear. Pallett is taken aback and taken down, clutching his left arm; a look of grimace on his face. The crowd erupts in cheers. Both men are in pain and on the ground. The move earlier clearly fueled by adrenaline, Williams has nothing left in the tank. Williams claws his way up to his feet using the ring ropes. Pallett is also recovering to his feet. Both wrestlers get to their feet at the same time. The crowd are on their feet. They once again lock up, this time a lot more exhausted and beat down. The two are in a stalemate again for a few seconds before Pallett's injured arm gives way. Williams whips Pallett into the ropes and goes for an elbow strike. Pallett avoids the strike by grabbing hold of the ropes and stopping himself before he would run into the elbow. Williams, quick on his feet, charges towards the ropes and hits Pallett in the sternum with a dropkick. Pallett clutches his chest and looks to catch his breath. No chance. Williams whips him into a corner and begins to kick the life out of him. Williams directs his kicks to Pallett's left. Pallett is howling in pain. After ten kicks, he drags Pallett into the centre of the ring and sets him up for a finisher. No taunting antics from Williams. He hits the London Bridge Slam, a Northern Lights Suplex, and goes for a pinfall. 1...2.. Pallett kicks out. Williams looks distraught. He knows what he has to do. He drags Pallett into the centre of the ring and tries to lock in the Crippler Crossface. Pallett pulls the oldest trick in the book, an eye poke. The referee did not notice the move. Pallett begins to capitalize. He picks Williams up and kicks him in the midsection. He runs off the ropes and brings Williams to the ground with a Swinging Neckbreaker. Pallett picks Williams up again and sets him up for his finisher. Pallett Driver! Williams is driven into the mat, head and back first. Pallett grabs the leg for a pin. 1...2... Williams kicks out! Pallett just shakes his head as he gets to his feet. He drags Williams up into position again... countered! Williams has Pallett in position for the Pallett Driver, his own finisher! Williams drives Pallett into the ground with his own move and goes for the pinfall. 1...2...3. Darren Williams successfully defends his GBWF World Heavyweight Title against Douglas Pallett with his own finishing move! Rating:60 Main Event Graham MacKenzie vs Thomas Beaumont The main event of GBWF Night Of Glory 1 sees the 38 year old Graham MacKenzie, possibly the biggest wrestling star in all of Europe, and 3 time GBWF World Champion face off against the fastest rising star in all of British professional wrestling, Thomas Beaumont. Having joined GBWF 9 years ago at age 16, Beaumont has blown up in popularity since rejoining GBWF in March of 2015 after leaving for GAW and WrestleX. He hopes to become GBWF World Heavyweight Champion in the future and knows that a win against the biggest star in the company is going to be influential in his pursuit. The biggest superstar goes up against the fast rising young lion. An unstoppable force against an immovable object. Who will come out on top? Thomas Beaumont starts off quickly. MacKenzie looks to be going for a more cautious approach against the unpredictable rookie. Beaumont goes for a superkick which is dodged by MacKenzie. MacKenzie returns the favour but Beaumont catches the leg of MacKenzie. An Enzuigiri attempt by MacKenzie is also caught by Beaumont, who now has a hold of both of MacKenzie's legs. Beaumont locks in a Boston Crab, wrenching at the back of MacKenzie. The move is countered by the veteran, who grabs the legs of Beaumont and send him falling face first into the ground. MacKenzie locks in the Sharpshooter on Beaumont and it is locked in tight. Beaumont struggles and crawls towards the bottom rope. MacKenzie is forced to break the hold. MacKenzie lifts Beaumont up and whips him chest first into the turnbuckle. Beaumont stumbles backwards... straight into a Tiger Suplex by MacKenzie! A pinfall attempt, 1...2... Beaumont kicks out. MacKenzie kips up and hypes up the crowd. Beaumont kips up! MacKenzie has his back turned... Kingdom Come! An Electric Chair sit-out Powerbomb! MacKenzie's shoulders are down! 1...2... MacKenzie just about kicks out! Beaumont gets up to his feet and perches himself on the top rope, that's not something you see every day. MacKenzie just moves out of the way of the Flying Elbow Drop. MacKenzie rolls out of the ring to recover. Beaumont gets up with the help of the ropes. MacKenzie gets back into the ring at the referee's count of 3. MacKenzie and Beaumont circle each other. Both wrestlers look primed and ready to pounce. They lock up. MacKenzie gets the better of Beaumont as he positions Beaumont's head under his arm. He goes for a Cutter but Beaumont is able to catch MacKenzie and lock in a full nelson. MacKenzie powers out of the full nelson lock and transitions it into a Stunner. Beaumont stumbles back, disorientated. MacKenzie runs off the ropes and attempts a Spear. Beaumont, almost instinctively, reverses it into a DDT, driving MacKenzie's head into the mat. Both wrestlers are down and in pain from the move. Beaumont is clutching his ribs while MacKenzie is grabbing his head in pain. The crowd are buzzing and cheering MacKenzie to his feet. Beaumont is first to recover. MacKenzie is still lying in a heap. Beaumont lifts MacKenzie up onto his shoulders for the Kingdom Come... MacKenzie counters it into a Reverse Frankensteiner... Beaumont lands on his feet! He picks MacKenzie off the floor and drops him with a Teardrop Suplex. Beaumont props MacKenzie on his shoulders again... Kingdom Come! Shoulders down...1...2...3. Thomas Beaumont pulls it off! In a match in which both wrestlers showed off excellent chain wrestling and pulled out all of the stops, the 25 year old Thomas Beaumont has come out victorious! Rating: 74 Reed Maxwell "What a match! After the previous bout, I didn't think it could get any better but these two men left everything in the ring and proved me so very wrong! What a way to end this show! Wait a second, Beaumont is asking for a mic." Thomas Beaumont "Darren Williams! You saw that?! You better cherish your time with your title because soon enough, it won't be your's anymore! You hear me! I want the World Heavyweight Championship!" *Burn [Darren Williams' theme]* Reed Maxwell "Darren Williams is walking down the ramp with the World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder!" Darren Williams "Congratulation on your win, Beaumont. I-" Thomas Beaumont "I don't need your endorsement. What I need is that championship! I want a ti-" Darren Williams "I heard you the last time, Beaumont, and I un-" Thomas Beaumont "Shut it! Don't interrupt me again you imbecile." Reed Maxwell "The two men are staring off! This is a very volatile situation that could well spiral into violence. Beaumont just spit into the face of Williams! They've come to blows! Beaumont is trying to prop Williams onto his shoulders but the fresher Williams will not allow it! Williams has Beaumont in a reverse Fireman's Carry! He's going for the Burning Hammer! Beaumont is scrambling to escape, sending elbow after elbow to the temple of Williams! *Authority [Jules Bennett's theme]* Jules Bennett "Stop. Stop. Stop. Everyone stop. Williams put him down." "Beaumont, you want a title shot? You deserve one after that great win. But for god's sake, did you have to spit in his face?! Alright, here's how it's going down. Thomas Beaumont, you will get a shot at the GBWF World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of this month's GBWF Genesis." *crowd cheers* It will be held on the last Sunday of the month and tickets are on sale now. To both of my fighters... sorry, wrestlers, if you lay another finger on each other, you're both getting suspended. And to everyone in attendance, I hope you enjoyed our show, goodnight." Your recent acquisition of the GBWF has come as a very big surprise to the public, what made you decide to venture into the professional wrestling market and takeover this promotion? And how will it affect your MMA World broadcasting venture?"</span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><img alt="tvfp60.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/gShHsfF/tvfp60.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><span style="font-size:10px;"><strong><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';">Jules Bennett</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><span style="font-size:10px;"><em>*deep breath*</em></span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> "Thank you for the question, Mr Costa. I have yet to announce this, but as of today, I am stepping down as the CEO of MMA World. I will still continue to be a major shareholder but will no longer be involved in the day to day operations of the company. It was a hard decision to make, but I believe I have made the right choice."</span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> "I always take it upon myself to try new and fresh things and well, to be perfectly frank, I enjoy watching some professional wrestling every now and again. The content is very much similar to that of MMA, and I have been obsessed with that ever since I was little. Whilst I was watching some AWF in my spare time, I started to... reminisce about when I was at the helm of BCF. I really treasure those memories. My time at BCF was great and I loved doing what I did. That time eventually came to an end when I decided to try something new. I started MMA World and never looked back. But, in my 10 years at MMA World, I never felt that same passion for I was doing that I had at BCF. After those 10 years of achieving my ultimate goal to bring MMA to the masses, I knew it was time to try something new. And that is why I bought this company from Mr Daniel Hart. I want to recapture that raw passion, that love for what I'm doing."</span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><img alt="6y8fgDo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6y8fgDo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><span style="font-size:10px;"><strong><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';">Dominic Winkelhock</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> "Good evening, I am Dominic Winkelhock from The German Post. You stated earlier that you achieved your goal to bring MMA to the masses during your time as the CEO of MMA World. What are your long term goals and short term targets for this venture into professional wrestling with GBWF?"</span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><img alt="tvfp60.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/gShHsfF/tvfp60.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><span style="font-size:10px;"><strong><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';">Jules Bennett</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> "I have but one long term goal for GBWF, to bring it global and keep it there for generations to come. I want to see the Great Britain Wrestling Federation, my own promotion, being the face of professional wrestling. But getting to the top is the easy bit... I want to stay on that perch and I do not want to be knocked off for as long as I am in charge. My short term targets are a plenty. I want to be selling at least 10,000 tickets to every show by the end of next year. This will show me that I have an audience invested in my product and that I am giving people the show they want to see. I want to see my wrestlers gelling well backstage and having minimal conflicts. A tightly knit bunch in the locker room can only spell good things as they will have to work with and interact with each other on a frequent basis. I want to carry forward the philosophy of Daniel Hart before me and Charles Ravensdale before him, a philosophy that lets the in-ring action tell most of the story. I also want to see my wrestlers put up good performances on a consistent basis, which would show me that they are putting in their all for the company every single event."</span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><img alt="cVkPZgJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cVkPZgJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><span style="font-size:10px;"><strong><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';">Walter Costa</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> "Speaking of events, what events do you have lined up in the future? However, I have been in discussions with EuroSportsNetwork with regards to broadcasting GBWF's events. In fact, this event is to be broadcast on the EuroSportsNetwork on Channel 3 and I am very thankful for their investment in this company. The event schedule is not set in stone just yet, the only things confirmed are the weekly GBWF Night Of Glory events that will be held every Friday. I plan to introduce a major event at the end of every month but I'm unsure whether my roster will be able to handle the strain of five events every month."</span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><img alt="6y8fgDo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6y8fgDo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><span style="font-size:10px;"><strong><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';">Dominic Winkelhock</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> "In that case, who are you looking to bring in any new talents to bolster the roster in order for you to introduce these major events?"</span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><img alt="tvfp60.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/gShHsfF/tvfp60.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span><span style="font-size:10px;"><strong><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';">Jules Bennett</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> "I have a few targets that I have shortlisted. My main target is the 33 year old athletic heavyweight, Das Feuer. He is a star in Central Europe due to his frequent appearances on TV programs and his role in a major film last year. I would love to welcome him back to the business after his hiatus and hopes he will join the GBWF in our pursuit for success. He would be an amazing signing as he has all the tools to be a great professional wrestler. He's blessed with the build of a giant but the agility of a cat. Combined with his natural charm and charisma, Feuer is the complete package. I am also keeping tabs on a tag-team known as The Edge. The team of Eoin Farraway and Roger Gilmour were the rising stars six years ago but are now facing the harsh reality of being unemployed and their career stagnated. I believe there is still untapped potential in that duo that I will be able to tap into."</span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> "Thank you for all of your questions, I hope you enjoy the show!"</span></p>
  8. Week 1 Monday, January, 2016 It's official, the Great Britain Wrestling Federation is under new management! The decision comes as a shock to the system for fans of the promotion as the former owner, Daniel Hart, publicly denied rumours that he would be selling the company a few days before the deal was announced. Jules Bennett is the new owner of the Great Britain based wrestling promotion. A very successful and passionate businessman, Bennett has quite a repertiore in the world of entertainment. Having made his first millions through independent start ups, he took a risk in taking over the London-based MMA promotion, British Cage Fighting, at the start of 2001. Heralded at the time as one of the best at promoting a fight, he brought the promotion to new heights, drawing in audiences from all across Europe. In the fall of 2006, he sold his 100% stake in the BCF, making an estimated 100 million dollars from the sale. He went on to build another great dynasty in a broadcasting company known as MMA World. He had the vision to bring all the major MMA promotions under a single roof. From the end of 2006 to the present day, MMA World went from a small regional platform to a world renowned brand. Jules Bennett has announced he will be hosting his first show as the owner of GBWF on the first Friday of this month at the Norwich Indoor Arena. It will be dubbed GBWF Night Of Glory 1 and will be the first in the series of weekly events. He has also revealed that he will be at the arena to talk to the press, who have been buzzing about his arrival. With his reputation, the pressure will surely be on him to deliver.
