  1. <p>Bit late obviously but reading through the thread I noticed people are questioning the tour intent shows and wondering why you wouldn't just change them all to be lesser/normal and make more money. </p><p> </p><p> The answer to the is kind of two-fold:</p><p> </p><p> 1. If you run too many lesser/normal shows in a certain time span, the game will basically turn them into weekly shows and you will only get TV show level attendance. This means your big PPV at the end of the month will be in front of a few thousand fans instead of 30,000 plus. The game doesn't allow you to saturate the market with big shows.</p><p> </p><p> 2. It's kind of the fault of the default data. In the c-verse Japanese companies are treated basically the same as American companies, running one big show every month, just replacing the weekly TV show with two to three tour shows per week. In reality Japanese companies run way more than 12 big shows per year. To set up a realistic Japanese schedule you want to have closer to 20-25 big shows per year, which has the effect of having each tour he much shorter. The only really long tours should be tournaments. </p><p> </p><p> If you book the Elite Series and the Elite Tag Series as round robin tournaments with two blocks, those tours would be between 10-18 shows each depending on how many participants. Then a lot of people would add a knockout tournament which can be another 6-10 shows depending on how you book it. Other than those the longest tours should be only a few tour shows followed by either a normal or lesser which is broadcasted. </p><p> </p><p> If you run with 20-25 bigger shows instead of 12, the other issue is not all of these can really be on PPV. Obviously if you run that many big shows not nearly all of them will have world title matches. What I have found to be most realistic is to have your biggest shows be on PPV, and sign a TV deal for events with a lower show requirement and broadcast your lesser shows on that. These would be shows main evented by the International title or the Tag titles and feature mostly multi-man tag matches with only a couple of featured matches.</p><p> </p><p> This type of schedule allows you to avoid just adding a weekly TV show and feeling no different from booking in America, but also avoid the monotony of booking 8-9 tour shows every month that are essentially meaningless. No company would operate like that in reality.</p><p> </p><p> Sorry for the long post!</p>
  2. <p>The Japanese companies really need some love. They run 12 big shows a year the same as north American companies but that really makes no sense. The whole point of a touring schedule is that you can run big shows more often and only run 3-4 tour shows in between unless it's a tournament.</p><p> </p><p> Running 8-9 meaningless your shows between each big event and only running 12 big events is totally nonsensical and no promotion would ever do it.</p>
  3. The other guy is mistaken. For the "important matches must be over 15 minutes" note in the product, it considers any match with a star or major star important I believe. It's not really a penalty though it's more like a cap. If you aren't relying on that match being one of the best on the card it isn't really worth worrying about in my opinion.
  4. Haven't actually started reading it yet but just wanted to say I love the concept. I actually do the same thing in my main save in the default Cornellverse. Took one of the biggest companies and canceled their TV deal and turned them into a touring schedule. Can't wait to start reading!
  5. You have to book it as a triple threat and then the road agent note makes it so the 3rd worker only enters late.
  6. When I first got into this series I only played RW mods and I had trouble sticking with a save long term. I then started playing C-Verse and haven't looked back. So much more freedom, no biases to contend with or "this would never happen in real life" type thoughts entering my head. The characters are fantastic, more big companies to compete with. I just love it. I can never touch a real world mod again.
  7. Yeah. The average tour ender in New Japan would have three or four singles matches with a couple of titles on the line. But the flip side of that is they have more than 12 of these events, so the titles still get defended fairly often. The default schedule in game for Japanese C-Verse companies isn't really realistic. So a company should have between 15-20 "big shows" with each one having a couple title matches except the couple of biggest shows have more. In New Japan the top title gets defended around six times per year, nowhere near every show. Lots of shows are main evented by the Intercontinental or Openweight titles, and the world title is never defended at the final of any tournament. The tournament final is always the main event.
  8. Fantastic show man! Loved reading it and I'm sure you had fun booking it! Love Starr with the NA title, love Remo being unstoppable no matter what we as fans try to put in front of him, Chaos title is fun, Awesomeness vs. Undeniable was predictably excellent. Having a blast reading this!
  9. Cameron Vessey vs. Mark Griffin Vessey is too good. This will be a match that establishes Mark but he comes up just short. Sonny Wildside vs. Diablo Duvak I love Sonny, this one is more with my heard than my head. Marc DuBois vs. Skip Beau I see big things for Skip, he stays hot here. Lee Rivera vs. Sean Deeley Shooter is fanastic. Amber Allen and Jasmine Foxx vs. Laura Flame and Natalie DiMarco Maybe Flame gets a pin over Allen here and sets up a title match? David Stone vs. Solomon Gold Kind of a close one, not a lot to say here.
  10. The one thing I would say is the the season finale is not supposed to be the longest tour, it's supposed to the best show. New Japan runs two or three tour shows at most leading up to Wrestle Kingdom, tour length has nothing to do with it. My season finale is my best show because it's stacked from top to bottom with singles/tag/title matches and no filler. An average tour-ending event throughout the year will have three or four actual matches and the rest multi-tag filler.
  11. It's an attribute guys. There's a positive one and a negative one. The notes say "in poor form" or "in excellent form." Some people start the game with it, others can pick it up randomly in game. It lasts between 6 months and 2 years randomly I believe. Edit: It seems like a lot of people don't know about the dirt sheet. If you see a road agent note that you don't understand, check the dirt sheet.
  12. The Awesomeness© vs. Undeniable [sWF World Tag Team Championship Match] [standard Tag Team Match] I think The Awesomeness retain here but it's not the last we see of these guys. Angry Gilmore vs. Matthew Faith [standard Singles Match] Should be pretty straight forward. The Crippler vs. High Flyin' Hawaiian [standard Singles Match] I just don't see it with HFH yet. Rogue vs. Z-Dub ["New Year's Revolution" Contract Match] [standard Singles Match] These contracts are heel props and I think Rogue is perfect for it. Des Davids© vs. Bret Starr [sWF North American Championship Match] [Lumberjack Match] Des is too good to be in the NA title scene, and perhaps having just one champion in Undeniable starts to sew some seeds. Brandon James vs. Rocky Golden ["I Quit Match"] [brandon wins = He gets the whereabouts of Scythe] This should read if Rocky wins he gets the whereabouts of Scythe. Regardless I don't think James is going to be the one to beat him. Remo© vs. ATOMIC vs. Mikey Lau [sWF World Heavyweight Championship Match] [Elimination Match] Remo retains here, those guys are good but they aren't ready to be champ. Looking forward to it!

  16. Fantastic show. Loving the direction you're taking Rocky Golden. I tried to turn him heel in my game, but he blocked it with creative control. You seem to be walking the line very carefully and I love his character. Undeniable continue to do great work, love all their characters and love them individually as performers. ATOMIC is interesting, the "in form" note should be on his "skills" page. I believe it lasts between six months and two years. Knights of Wrestling are interesting, Joshua Taylor fits perfectly. Rogue vs. Z-Dub should be fun, love them both. I miss Primus Allen. I think he has all the makings of a future star and it's very unfortunate that he's shelved for quite a while. All in all, great work and I can't wait for the PPV!
  17. I'm pretty sure it takes population into account. I say this because in my current save, I get these messages: We have gained popularity in 6 regions of Canada We would have gained popularity in 1 region of Canada but were limited by viewers My popularity is growing everywhere except The Maritimes because it says that region doesn't have enough viewers, despite my broadcaster being the same size throughout Canada. So I think the broadcaster sizes essentially mean a percentage of that region that watches the channel, and population determines the actual numbers.
  18. Newfoundland Championship Wrestling will grab a couple of good brothers, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows
  19. Newfoundland Championship Wrestling selects Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler

I assume when the game gets up and running we'll be able to set up dojos and stuff? Or how will that work?</p>
  21. Well. I'm running my company as a touring schedule and I have Young Lion system and Loyalty on. So I'm going to need some relationships to send people on excusrions and stuff if anyone is interested in that.
  22. Aaron Knight vs. Cameron Vessey Baised by my own booking in my CWA save, Vessey is too good. Brooke Tyler vs. Lauren Easter Brooke may be the best women's wrestler on earth. Kind of a #1 contender's match so these two matches kind of rely on each other. Amber Allen © vs. Nadia Snow I would be all in for a Nadia title run, but I tjink it's Amber vs. Brooke eventually. The DeColt Boys vs. Wolf Pack Love these guys. Time for The DeColts to take a backseat I think, especially Jack. The Dynamite Express © vs. Thunder & Lightning One of the best tag teams on the planet, and I honestly don't see much in Thunder & Lightning. Sean McFly vs. ??? I still think this story ends with Sean McFly having one last run with the World title. Generation Z vs. The Brothers Cain Not sure on this one, Brothers Cain don't offer much, but Gen Z aren't really ready. Could go either way. Skip Beau vs. Erik Strong vs. Lee Rivera vs. Marc DuBois Skip is a beast and I'm so down for Skip vs. Mr. Impact. Pre-Show: Donte Dunn and The Griffin Family vs. Sean Deeley vs. The Montreal Mafia My boy Laura Flame vs. Demelza Wade Laura is great, Demelza doesn't offer much in my opinion. Sonny Wildside vs. Diablo Duvak Big fan of Sonny Bonus Question: Who is the mystery opponent of Sean McFly? (Hint: Not someone currently employed by the CWA) The triumphant return of the Show Stealer, Jacob Jett
