  1. So they debuted with Neutral momentum I assume, they won their first few matches and their momentum is going down?
  2. You basically need to change his gimmick. Once someone does notjhing but lose, it's hard to get fans invested in him again. See Mahal, Jinder. If people are going to care again you need to change something, he can't just randomly start winning.
  3. Hi guys, could one of you please put this render onto the default c-verse background? I've included them both. Would be very much appreciated! https://imgur.com/WaenBYw https://imgur.com/Yh1HNSW
  4. Yeah. You've already got a Best of the Super Juniors title. Run that as a tournament like the NJPW version. Create the same kind of tournament for the Heavyweight title, the two tag team titles, and I'd probably add another Heavyweight tournament in a knockout format. That's five tournaments, and if you run the two main ones as say two blocks of 10 wrestlers each you would need 18 events which would take you probably a month and a half each. That's about 7 months used up on 5 tournaments, then you can take the other 7 shows plus another few and fill out the remaining 5 months for about a show every 3 weeks or so. Most will have short tours which make them better to book. An easy way to handle the non tournament shows is to run themes. I'm not sure what BHOTWG's product is like, but you could run one show featuring a cage match. Or maybe a Royal Rumble type event. One show about 6 months before your season finale should be your 2nd biggest show. This is your Summerslam or Dominion. You can do a foreign tour in USA or England. Different things like that. Just off the top of my head: Night of the Burning Hammer is your season finale in October, and Fire Dream of the Immortals is in March and is rated "historic" so this would be my Dominion or Summerslam where most stories conclude before the 2nd half of the year. I'd turn Test of Prophesies into your "G1" type event with the winner getting a World title shot at Night of the Burning Hammer. So here we go: January: Burning Path - this sounds like a tournament to me, I would put a knockout tournament here for the heavyweights with 16 or 32 wrestlers. February: Warrior Globe - this screams foreign show, have the winner of the aforementioned tournament get a title shot here and hold the show in the states or the UK March: Fire Dream of the Immortals - big show, most titles defended, storylines end May: Test of Prophesies - "G1" type tournament, two blocks of 10 wrestlers each, 18 shows, Block A wrestles one night, Block B the next, winners face off at Test of Prophesies itself. With 18 shows this tour will last all through April and into May. June: Sword Destiny and Inferno of Purity - They're May and June in the default schedule but we had to make room for long tournaments. These kinds of shows can feature the "G1" winner defending his title shot against someone who beat him during the tournament, and the World champion can do the same. July: Best of the Super Juniors - two blocks of 10 wrestlers, 18 shows, Block A wrestles one night then Block B the next, winners face off at BOTSJ itself. Again this will take a month and a half if you do 3 tour shows per week. August: Summit Challenge - this could be a spot for a tag tournament with the winners getting title shots at Night of the Burning Hammer September: Quest of Heart - cool down show where you do any last minute title changes you need to set up your season finale. Build with a few tour shows October: Night of the Burning Hammer - season finale November: Everlasting Mission - use this to create new storylines for the new "year" December: Silencing Dragons - could use this spot for one of your tag tournaments. That's just super quick off the top of my head. In the off times (no tournaments running) I would add some more big shows with any theme you want. The more shows you have, the less tour events that you need to build up to each one. No one wants to book 9 tour events where there's no tournament going on and nothing happening. So long tournaments mixed in with short "other" tours and you've got a recipie for success.
  5. Yeah. Most fall somewhere between "Good" and "Great" for me. I didn't do any code either I believe I have 6/10 for creativity.
  6. Yeah, and that's another reason to have more than 12 big shows. Western schedules can get away with one show a month because TV also matters. With a touring schedule you wanna add a few more shows in there that are capable of changing your popularity too.
  7. Everything you need is right on the screen. Click a basis that the worker is good at. Choose safe, generic, creative, or unique based on the information provided on the screen. Name it what you like. Sometimes gimmicks don't work, sometimes they do. Again, not getting good results doesn't mean it sucks compared to the old system.
  8. Tim Westybrook and his tag team partner Mighty Cavanagh went to PGHW and are wrestling under the names Timmy West and Danny Cavanagh. Their team is called Beast & West. Cameron Vessey vs. Jack DeColt Tough one. Cameron Vessey is a main player though and I think he needs to win this one. Lauren Easter vs. Laura Flame Wouldn't be much of a beat the clock challenge if she doesn't win, but who knows. Sean McFly vs. Mr. Impact Sean McFly needs his title shot. Skip Beau vs. Erik Strong Skip is a beast. Donte Dunn vs. Omar Brown YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Derek Frost vs. Lee Rivera Tough one here, being a fan of primarily Japanese wrestling, it's hard for me to pick a "Junior" over a heavyweight. I need to get it through my head that that's not how it works here. Side note - shipshirt has a really good Mr. Impact render. Those default super shiny ones look so goofy to me, and you have replaced most of them so I figured you might want to know. If you're interested - https://imgur.com/dngdxer
  9. <p>I still have faith. Done Dunn will be the top worker in this company and I won't hear otherwise!</p><p> </p><p> On another note - the new format looks great. Excited for the next show!</p>

  11. <p>You get the "Well executed squash" note which gives a bonus when the following conditions are met:</p><p> </p><p> - Loser has to be "Unimportant" perception, which local workers are by default</p><p> - Match has to be 5 minutes or less</p><p> - "Decisive Win" AND/OR "Dominate" note used. Can be both but doesn't have to be</p><p> </p><p> If those three conditions are met you will get a bonus for the match. Having said that, I don't think the point of squash matches are to get good ratings. Whether the match is good or not the worker will get momentum which is the entire point as far as I'm concerned.</p>

  15. Where did you get the renders for Remo and Mikey Lau? I've searched all over and can't find either of them. Also, just binged this in 2 days, absolutely enthralling man great work!
  16. East Meets West, Classic Mainstream Puroresu, Lucharesu Amped Up, Silver Age Pro Wrestling. You want something that will be ok with some angles and with tainted finishes in my opinion.
  17. I mean it's perfectly plausible he has gone to USPW and likes it and simply doesn't want to leave. There are over a thousand workers in the C-Verse and all of them will have different motivations.
  18. That's awesome mate. You thinking of adding any more big shows? Seems a little short unless some of the "tour" night are actually normal events.
  19. If you do change TCW to a touring schedule like you said, I'd love to see how you get on.
  20. It's an absolute blast. I love CWA's roster but I lasted about a month and a half doing TV and then I said I can't handle this. I made a storyline out of it, Steve DeColt announced the change, some wrestlers hated it, some supported him etc. He's a legend of Canadian wrestling so I imagined some fans would trust him with the change but others would hate it, leading to mixed reactions. It's been great so far. I changed the product to East Meets West which seems extremely fitting. 60/40 performance over pop but you can still get away with cheap endings and fans expect storylines and gimmicks.
  21. I basically only book Japanese companies. I cannot for the life of me get into booking weekly television, it just makes no sense in my head. My main save right now is actually with CWA, but the first thing I did was cancel the TV deal and change to a Japanese-style touring schedule. The main issue with the Japanese companies in TEW is the schedule isn't really realistic. They're set up just like American companies with one big show a month then a bunch of tour shows that lead up to it. In real life Japanese companies run way more than 12 big shows a year. New Japan Pro Wrestling in real life have at least 20 shows that would be considered "PPVs" in TEW, and that's not counting things like certain tournament dates that draw 10,000 + people like the last two nights of the G1 Climax before the final. So the first thing you need to do in my opinion to run a Japanese promotion is add way more big shows, which in turn allows you to get rid of some of the tour events because there is less time in between. In my CWA save I have 16 "PPVs." The easiest way to do this is adding more tournaments. Then with your tournaments a lot of them will take more than a month to run, the G1 Climax for example takes almost two. So when you add more big shows, then you make the space between some tournaments longer, you end up with no too many tour shows between the rest of the big shows. I'm not super familiar with PGHW, but looking at their schedule they have the ELITE Series, and the ELITE TAG Series. I would the ELITE Series as a 20 man tournament with two blocks of 10 wrestlers each. This means you would need 18 tour dates before the final to pull it off with five matches on each card (one block wrestles one night, the other the next, etc.) To pull that off you would need at least a month and a half, maybe two. You could run the tag tournament the same way but with slightly less teams, maybe two blocks of eight meaning you would need 14 tour dates, five or six weeks. Then you could add a Junior Heavyweight Title with a tournament that goes along with it, another Heavyweight tournament but in a knockout format instead of round robin, stuff like that. Tournaments are very big in Japanese wrestling and a great way to fill up the time. If you run a few big tournaments and a few small tournaments in a year, they take up so much time that you end up with a big show every couple of weeks the rest of the year, meaning you only need to book a few tour shows leading up to each one, some none at all. I'll attach my schedule for my CWA save so you can have a look at it. You'll notice the only really long tours are for tournaments which are fun to book anyway, the rest are a few shows at most. https://imgur.com/a/95wdMeE Ultimate Showdown is my season finale, Stone/DeColt Memorial is my version of the ELITE Series I explained above. Juniors Unleashed is the same thing for Juniors. Ed Henson Memorial is my tournament for tag teams in the same format. Canada Cup is a knockout version of my Heavyweight tournament and the same thing for women running at the same time. Everything else is only a few shows. I may add more big shows as I see fit but for now there's always something going on. Hardly any "filler" at all. Tour shows are also super easy to book. You just put people who are feuding with each other in multi-man tag matches against each other. This is why stables are so important so everyone has people to tag with. Anyway I hope this rant gave you a little insight into why I find Japanese companies so fun to book, and maybe helps you get started if you choose to go with PGHW or BCG!

  23. I have never gotten a higher grade with epic or spectacle. Every single time I book one I go back and redo the match as regular and it's always better. I've tried it hundreds of times.
