  1. On our old computer I had a fictional save going. I agree that fictional is really fun.

Right now I have two saves going.

One is with the Cavaliers starting in 1988. Back then we had those great teams with Mark Price, Brad Daugherty, John "Hot Rod" Williams, etc. The first season, things went very much like they did in real life back then. The Cavs made the playoffs but just could not overcome Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. Amazingly, the in-game players behaved mostly as they did in real life. Except maybe for Mark Price. He didn't shoot as much from 3-point range, and I had one game where he got 2 technical fouls. In real life, Mark Price was and is a committed Christian who never let his temper take over during a game.

My other save is with the Cavaliers starting in 2003, the year we drafted LeBron James. I want to try to win a championship before 2016. I know that playing historical gives you an advantage because you know what players are going to be good, but it's still fun. As in real life, center Zydrunas Ilgauskas (one of the most beloved players ever to play for the Cavs) has had trouble staying healthy. So I traded for Ben Wallace, and as my center he has been a rebounding machine. Zydrunas is a bench player for now.

I am going to start a fictional game so I can make use of my draft classes from FBCB. That should be fun--watching players from their college days through the NBA.

Sweet man! Recently, I had a league starting in the late 90's that went on for awhile. I controlled a couple of teams as well and re-wrote history.

Currently running a fictional league with both Pro and College with about 15 other guys. If interested let me know this might be right up your ally!
