Show Grade: 59 Show Notes - MIRAI really off game, slipping to below future division level performance wise once again - Fukigen Death & Mina was a comedy match to calm the crowd down, whereas KAIRI & Tam didn’t click which is why they scored so low - Mayu has lost every Day 1 5STAR match since 2016, its kind of her thing! Round 1 kicks off with DDM off to a perfect start! STARS & Cosmic Angels yet to score any points puts them significantly on the back foot!

PPV results at the bottom of the previous page, I'm pumping out too much content lol 5 Star GP Brackets Reveal + Rules The two blocks have been revealed above, as 2 blocks of 8 wrestlers compete in a round robin group stage, with the winners of each block facing off to decide who wins the 5 Star Grand Prix! A 15 minute time limit will be applied to every match except the final. Winning a match gains two points for the wrestler, a draw means 1 point each and losing gets 0 points. A new addition will be a faction league, similar to Formula 1, where wrestlers in each faction have their points added up, to ensure that more matches mean more throughout the tournament. The winning faction will pick a belt to challenge for at the PPV, going down until 4th place, as the faction who finishes last doesn’t win anything. STARDOM Autumn Flame in Osaka 2022 Saturday Week 4 August 2022 Attendance: 5,100 People in Osaka Pre-show Match: Miyu Amasaki vs Tam Nakano Tam Nakano (60) defeated Miyu Amasaki (31) in 7:37 by pinfall with a Tiger Suplex Hold (53). Opening Match: Future of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: Mai Sakurai vs Challenger: Waka Tsukiyama vs 8th Champion Hanan © Pre-Match Promos: Mai Sakurai: Mai simply states, “let’s go”, before heading to the ring. Waka Tsukiyama: Waka isn’t sure how or why Mai got her this opportunity but she will try her best. Hanan: Hanan looks forward to the challenge of facing two opponents to kick her title reign into the next level. Match Overview: The 3 women dynamic allowed for near falls a plenty and in turn intrigue throughout. The finish came as Mai Sakurai went up to the top rope, intending to attack a downed Hanan. Waka enters the ring and pushes Hanan out of the ring to take Mai’s crossbody. Mai reverses Waka’s backslide by rolling through then delivers a huge Big Boot for the win! Mai Sakurai (30) defeated Waka Tsukiyama (29) and Hanan (34) in 8:46 when Mai Sakurai pinned Waka Tsukiyama with a Big Boot. Mai Sakurai wins the Future of Stardom title (34). Angle: Mai blasts the “failure” Waka until Hanan steps up to disagree but the damage is done as a teary Waka leaves a gleeful Mai who goes on to quit Cosmic Angels! (35). Match 2: Oedo Tai (Starlight Kid, Saki Kashima, Fukigen Death & Ruaka) vs STARS (Mayu Iwatani, Koguma, Saya Iida & Momo Kohgo) Pre-Match Promos: Oedo Tai: Ruaka and Death fight in the background on who gets to sit in the last chair as Kid & Kashima discuss their role in the new Oedo Tai now Tora is back. STARS: Mayu needs each member to show up today as she looks to take momentum of the women that have all chosen to turn their backs on her. Match Overview: Ruaka & Momo Kohgo kicked off this contest, before tagging out to the comedy of Death & Koguma and then finally the mismatch of Saki’s speed vs Iida’s power led to a fine start to this contest. This contest came alive and the crowd was left buzzing after Saki & Iida make duel tags to Mayu & Stalight Kid, who for 3 minutes wrestle flat out to huge reaction. The match does break down with Oedo Tai interference and eventually Starlight Kid is able to pin Kohgo for the win. Oedo Tai [starlight Kid (63), Saki Kashima (48), Fukigen Death (51) and Ruaka (32)] defeated STARS [Mayu Iwatani (80), Koguma (51), Saya Iida (45) and Momo Kohgo (27)] in 11:45 when Starlight Kid pinned Momo Kohgo with a Shiranui (54). Match 3: Donna del Mondo (Giulia, Syuri & Maika) v Queen’s Quest (AZM, Saya Kamitani & Lady C) Pre-Match Promos: Donna del Mondo: Syuri doesn’t want to hear Giulia’s “half arsed” pity after losing her red belt, wants to work together to get some last minute momentum before the 5 STAR. Queen’s Quest: AZM formally congratulates Kamitani for winning the high speed belt, she then encourages Lady C to follow their example. Match Overview: This back and forth contest build to Syuri faking out Giulia by almost tagging her but then switching paths to tag in Maika. The DDM Trio were able to isolate Lady C though resulting in them picking up the win. Donna del Mondo [syuri (80), Giulia (56) and Maika (53)] defeated Queen's Quest [AZM (60), Saya Kamitani (63) and Lady C (29)] in 14:07 when Syuri pinned Lady C with a Shin Seijin Clutch (61). Match 4: Hazuki vs Natsuko Tora Pre-Match Promos: Hazuki: Hazuki is fed up with being beaten left and right by Oedo Tai. She has been developing a new strategy to ensure victory tonight. Natsuko Tora: Tora is looking to lead from the front and elevate Oedo Tai as the leader. Match Overview: Natsuko Tora enters second, sporting a Kagetsu style moon painted on the side of her face, red hair and the old Oedo Tai board, to call back to the Hazuki days of Oedo Tai. During the match Hazuki gets increasingly frustrated with the interference from Oedo Tai, even reversing the Kagetsu style kick to the thigh Tora was attempting to hit her own version of the move. At the end of this match a water bottle is thrown between both competitors as they both recover from a double down. Hazuki is the first competitor to come to her senses and looks down at the bottle. After a brief pause, she drinks a little before spitting it directly into Tora’s eye (shades of Kagetsu’s mist attacks!) one Michinoku Driver and three numbers later Hazuki wins the match, but Tora is the one smiling. Hazuki (55) defeated Natsuko Tora (42) in 15:23 by pinfall with a Michinoku Driver II (55). Match 5: Goddesses of STARDOM Title Match: Challengers: Donna del Mondo (MIRAI & Thekla) vs 24th Champions Donna del Mondo (Himeka & Natsupoi) © Pre-Match Promos: Donna del Mondo (MIRAI & Thekla): Thekla calls on MIRAI to assist in taking away those titles away from HimePoi. Thekla is purely focused on Natsupoi and so warns MIRAI to leave Natsupoi alone. Donna del Mondo (Himeka & Natsupoi): Himeka calms the nerves of Natsupoi, who seems out of sorts at the moment. Natsupoi unconvincingly states she is in control and will deliver tonight. Match Overview: Thekla & MIRAI jump the champions to kick things off beating them down before Thekla & Himeka brawl to the outside, allowing MIRAI to assume control on top of Natsupoi. Natsupoi does her best to ignore Thekla’s cries, but she was definitely second guessing herself, resulting in a quick tag out to Himeka. Later with MIRAI & Natsupoi outside of the ring, MIRAI beats the count at 11, whilst Himeka is cheering on an exhausted Natsupoi. Around the 17 count, Himeka Irish whips Natsupoi back into the ring and blind tags her before MIRAI can take full advantage! A couple of minutes later Himeka delivers the JP Coaster for the 1,2,3! Donna del Mondo [Himeka (49) & Natsupoi (56)] defeated Donna del Mondo [MIRAI (42) and Thekla (45)] in 18:05 when Himeka pinned MIRAI with a JP Coaster. Himepoi make defence number two of the Goddesses of Stardom titles (56). Angle: Natsupoi walks away rather than celebrating as Himeka follows to check on her (40). Semi Main: Wonder of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: Momo Watanabe vs 17th Champion Suzu Suzuki © Pre-Match Promos: Momo Watanabe: Momo has been assessing Suzu from afar, and whist talented, she isn’t quite white belt worthy, with Momo exposing that fact tonight. Suzu Suzuki: Suzu instructs her Prominence stable mates to shut down any interference but also to study her closely. Match Overview: After seeing Oedo Tai’s antics throughout the card so far, Prominence attack Oedo Tai as soon as the bell is rung, leaving Momo & Suzu to circle around each other, before first contact. Suzu receives a brutal kick to the back from Momo, she absorbs then encourages more, receiving praise from the crowd. Momo, envious, sits down after delivering a second kick to give Suzu a free shot. Suzu winds up before flipping Momo over for a close two count. Finish comes as Prominence have brawled to the back with Oedo Tai, leaving Suzu no excuses when Momo hits the Somato & referee Daichi slaps the mat for the third time. Momo Watanabe (63) defeated Suzu Suzuki (57) in 20:51 by pinfall with a Somato. Momo Watanabe wins the Wonder of Stardom title (67). Angle: Suzu rants her way to the back as Momo holds the white belt up triumphantly. Momo promises to be the shining white light throughout the 5STAR, so that she can then plunge STARDOM into the darkness (50). Main Event: World of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: Utami Hayashishita vs 15th Champion KAIRI © Pre-Match Promos: Utami Hayashishita: Utami acknowledges last year as a phenomenal experience but can’t think of a better way of injecting some life into 2022 than reclaiming the red belt KAIRI: KAIRI wants to continue to step up to the best the current STARDOM roster can provide and is very excited to see the power of Hayashishita. Match Overview: A really slowly built match drew the crowd in to this clash of generations as both wrestlers stepped up to the plate. The loud crowd reactions added to the huge occasion as the fight escalated, as KAIRI slips out of Utami hitting her brutal back drop driver, to bounce Utami off the ring post. The end of the match saw a back and forth striking exchange end with a vicious KAIRI spear. She goes up to the top rope, salutes, and hits her picture-perfect Insane Elbow for the victory. KAIRI (74) defeated Utami Hayashishita (72) in 23:46 by pinfall with an Insane Elbow. KAIRI makes defence number one of the World of Stardom title (81). Show Closing Angle: KAIRI thanks Utami. She announces that she will compete in the 5 STAR GP. Stepping into the STARDOM ring has been the best feeling in KAIRI’s career so far, so she is excited about the competition ahead (58). Show Grade: 77 Show Notes - The Future of STARDOM title change may be controversial but I had teased Sakurai’s unhappiness a couple of times + Waka can now be blamed for Hanan losing her title, to try to make her feel guilty. - Momo taking the white belt goes back to the plans I had originally for her, as the story has tweaked but it should be fun to bring it back on track. - What a main event rating! The second-best match of the diary so far and the best event score of the save! KAIRI comes into this bout undefeated, whilst Utami definitely has a chip on her shoulder, as Utami looks to recapture her 2021 form and step up to the challenge that KAIRI threw at her. As KAIRI keeps getting better and better, alongside Utami’s “amazing form”, hopefully these two can excel in this main event match. Semi Main: Momo Watanabe vs Suzu Suzuki © Match Preview: Suzu Suzuki defends her Wonder of STARDOM title for the time against Momo Watanabe. Whilst the fans might have a hard time deciding who to cheer, they won’t have a hard time watching these two elite performers wrestling ability, in what can only be described as a truly eye watering contest. Suzu & Momo have been heavily distracted by separate storylines with Giulia & AZM, so lets hope those two can focus on the white match and not get distracted. Match 5: Donna del Mondo (MIRAI & Thekla) vs Donna del Mondo (Himeka & Natsupoi) © Match Preview: Himeka & Natsupoi defend their Goddesses of STARDOM title against MIRAI & Thekla for the second time. Thekla will relish the opportunity to take away Natsupoi’s belt, as these DDM stable mates face off at Autumn Flame. Natsupoi needs to start listening to her partners and fans encouragement, to not be overwhelmed by the challenge ahead. Hi! The person who guesses the highest percentage of matches correctly in at least 2/5 of the next PPV cards gets to pick a wrestler to be pushed. Mokoa won the last competition and chose to push Natsupoi! (Blodyxe, Mokoa & Rateddc only need to predict 1 more of the next 5 cards to qualify as they've already guessed once)/ it just hopefully stops someone guessing 1 card 100% correct, then automatically winning, if you can guess 2 cards 100% correctly, you deserve to win the competition in my book aha So Maika could win a belt or a shiny Cinderella dress but either way, to copy her catchphrase, her push would be done "Maika Style!"

Yeah I mean her and Saki at the same level 45 -50 seems about right to me, She is definitely better than future of STARDOM level. I'm halfway through the 5 star atm, so will maybe raise it after the event! Definitely meeting that main event threshold! I don't know who the fans are supposed to cheer for in her white belt match with Suzu but I just thought it would be an amazing match! Fukigen in a dress would be fascinating, I have no idea how that character combo would work About time I put some respect on Utami's name. Between her love of Riho & Tamu cosplay, she isn't afraid to show the different sides to her! Yes a little less bear, more wild side for Koguma please, the gap is pretty big in ring wise so she needs to pay attention Yeah I may need to pm, as I've got another character focus in the works, as a potential make good, I'll pm Incredible! She we will be rewarded but is a project for next year for sure!

Match 3: Giulia & Tam Nakano vs Prominence (Risa Sera & Suzu Suzuki) Pre-Match Promos: Giulia & Tam Nakano: A tense opening is eased by assurances that they need to focus on calming the Prominence rough shotting over STARDOM. Prominence (Risa Sera & Suzu Suzuki): Suzu shushes Risa down to take the leadership role in this tag team match. After already dispatching Tam during her white belt defence on the most recent tour, Suzu will enjoy bringing the hurt to Giulia’s world once again. Match Overview: Suzu & Tam start, calling back to their title match with some slick exchanges. Suzu & Risa work over Tam, with Suzu constantly asking for tags after Risa gets 1 minute of offence in. When Tam finally makes it to Giulia for the hot tag, Giulia enters with a fury we haven’t seen in STARDOM, making a point to attack both Prominence members at the same time. Suzu tags out towards the end of the match, not attempting to break up pins, as Risa fights but eventually succumbs to a Glorious Bomb. Giulia (59) and Tam Nakano (58) defeated Prominence [Risa Sera (52) and Suzu Suzuki (61)] in 13:57 when Giulia pinned Risa Sera with a Glorious Bomb (64). Match 4: AZM vs Momo Watanabe vs Utami Hayashishita Pre-Match Promos: AZM: AZM just wants the games to stop. She isn’t looking forward to fighting her friend Utami & her former friend Momo but she has to play the game in order to get what she really wants, Momo 1v1. Momo Watanabe: Momo is looking forward to the chaos. She will try to ignore AZM and focus on “the former top star Utami”. Utami Hayashishita: Utami didn’t want to get dragged into this but will always stick up for AZM and can’t wait get her hands on Momo. Match Overview: As expected QQ team up to gain the early advantage, until a miscommunication aggravates Utami, turning the fight into a true triple threat. Momo locks Utami in a Crossface chickenwing halfway through the bout, whilst yelling at AZM to watch and learn or to do something! AZM does pause for a moment, before kicking Momo off Utami. Finish comes as finishers are thrown all around, until Utami is dropped on the back of her head with a brutal B-Driver, AZM slides in to check on her as Momo rolls away to the corner, she climbs the top turnbuckle and hits AZM with her Top Rope Diving Somato and pins her next to a dazed Utami. Momo Watanabe (59) defeated AZM (58) and Utami Hayashishita (64) in 16:41 when Momo Watanabe pinned AZM with a Top Rope Diving Somato (66). Match 5: High Speed Title Match: Challenger: Saya Kamitani vs 21st Champion Starlight Kid © Pre-Match Promos: Saya Kamitani: Saya is confident she can be the light to stop the darkness. She hopes she’s picked up enough technique from AZM to push forward and win this title. Starlight Kid: Starlight mocks Kamitani’s lack of true High Speed match experience, mocking her chances as a “high-speed rookie”. Match Overview: Despite Saya beating Starlight on both occasions they fought in the past, this is a whole new Dark Starlight Kid and whilst Kamitani just about keeps up with Kid in terms of speed, SLK uses some cheap shots and quick eye pokes (out of view of the referee) to stay on top in the early going. AZM encouragement attempts to galvanize Kamitani work momentarily but Kid is in top form and is able to stay one step ahead. As Kid looks to finish the match off, she winds up for a 619, but Saya catches her legs as they swing through the ropes, and in the wheelbarrow position slams Kid hard into the mat! Kamitani crawls up to the top rope and hits a desperation Phoenix Splash, which is too strong for Kid to kick out of. Match Overview: Mayu opened the contest like a hurricane, leaving Natsupoi no choice but to struggle against the storm and rely on Himeka to break up a couple of pin attempts early on! Himeka and Iida were able to trade hard hitting blows during the middle portion as Natsupoi slowly grew into the contest. Isolating Iida from the immense Mayu Iwatani proved successful, as Natsupoi finally was able to hit her Backlash for the win! Donna del Mondo - Himepoi [Himeka (50) and Natsupoi (54)] defeated STARS [saya Iida (50) and Mayu Iwatani (81)] in 17:35 when Natsupoi pinned Saya Iida with a Backlash. Himeka stands in front of Natsupoi slightly to accept and we’ll see HimePoi vs Thekla & MIRAI as the next Goddesses defence (43). Main Event: World of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: KAIRI vs 14th Champions Syuri © Pre-Match Promos: KAIRI: KAIRI has finished her voyage of the STARDOM factions, with her destination being red belt glory! Syuri: Syuri is wary of the aura KAIRI has around her but is determined to provide a huge wake up call into the standard STARDOM has raised to since KAIRI left! Match Overview: Syuri’s mat wrestling and vicious strikes posed a real threat to KAIRI’s comeback win streak, requiring all of KAIRI’s veteran instincts and knowledge to navigate in the early goings. Disappointedly KAIRI & Syuri didn’t seem to click, which is a real shame given both ladies talents. Lots of submission trades were slightly off centre, allowing for quick rope breaks, or scruffy looking escapes. KAIRI’s new big blows allows her to keep pace with Syuri and a brutal looking spinning backfist results in the champion being rocked, followed up with the beautiful Insane Elbow is enough for referee Daichi to slap the mat three times in a row, awarding the Pirate Princess the Red Belt! KAIRI defeated Syuri in 21:56 by pinfall with an Insane Elbow. KAIRI wins the World of Stardom title (71). Fortunately those two are so talented the grade wasn’t hurt too badly / KAIRI can finish her three month wave of momentum with a title victory, hopefully continuing to draw more eyes! Whilst Himepoi want this to set the tone of their reign, Mayu has been head and shoulders above the entire roster in ring ratings and Iida has returned with a fire in her belly, all of which ensures this will be anything but an easy first defence. Yeah for a faction leader she was too quiet for months, She's one I'm hoping someone picks for a push at the end of the year for sure Literally made me jump up and gasp when I saw it aha, "steal the show" show note has to be in 1 match a card, the high speed girls always deliver! Yeah it never ends well in wrestling picking on your friends! She is insane at wrestling though so we'll see! I actually can't wait to see how far she can ride this wave of momentum! Oedo Tai's Dragon I've never heard that nickname before but sounds awesome! I got into STARDOM 2019 as she was falling out so missed most of her time their! Yeah Draft A saw me put the tag titles & Wonder Title on the PPV, But nothing for Mayu, Risa & Giulia, so had to switch it round, which in hindsight may have messed up the story. Natsupoi will be chasing Thekla whilst establishing goddesses belts, which isn't ideal, but hopefully will raise the value of those belts

Starlight laughs claims she is running out of space to carry all the masks of her conquests, before the challenger and champion move into a forehead to forehead square off (54). Suzu Suzuki makes defence number two of the Wonder of Stardom title (61). Show Closing Promo: Suzu orders Prominence to beat down Nakano, after they manage to overpower Cosmic Angels, only for Giulia’s music to stop her plan in its tracks. Before Giulia can get in the ring, Suzu orders her to stop and leave them alone, Giulia will if Suzu stops, Suzu agree’s, turns around to continue the beat down, only to find Tam has managed to escape. Suzu lays into Prominence’s repeated failures, before telling them to thank their lucky stars that Suzu is in their group to be a true leader (52). Show Grade: 60 Show Notes - Ruaka & Miyu Amasaki excellent tag team chemistry! In this universe could Miyu choose to side with the dark side ?! - Asked match 4 to steal the show and they certainly did! High Speed is definitely best speed! - I put the White belt match here rather than the PPV perhaps controversially, as I was debating putting the tag match her instead, but hopefully wrapping up this portion of the 3 way story at the PPV makes sense. Giulia & Tam vs Suzu & Sera should be awesome on PPV!
