3. All aboard! A few twists and turns ahead but I'm counting on Poi to step up and take advantage of this push!
 4. A Fairies Choice – A Natsupoi Character Focus The sound of a door softly closing is quickly followed by a small thud. Emerging from Rossy Ogawa’s office, Natsupoi’s forehead is now resting against a wall, as she slowly takes a deep breath in … and out. Whilst the performance meeting with her boss went well, keeping up the idol like image for her fans, peers and management is absolutely draining. Speaking of peers, she feels a tap on her shoulder and so she plasters on a smile before turning around. Surprisingly, considering they’ve never had a one-on-one conversation since she arrived in DDM at the start of the year, the woman in front of her is “The Toxic Spider” Thekla. “Boo!” Thekla exclaims, gleeful that this makes Natsupoi flinch. “Relax, weak fairy-chan, I was only coming over to definitely not listen in on the weakest DDM member!” Thekla’s grin grows as Natsupoi is fighting with herself to not give Thekla an inch. Emboldened by her belief that cracks in Natsupoi’s demeanour are opening up, Thekla pounces by leaning in close and whispering “Hey, make sure you take your bosses advice, to be a good girl and stay in your place. There is a reason why you aren’t trusted to become anything more than a support player” She pats her SWA belt and takes a half step back to wiggle her jaw at Natsupoi “because at the end of the day…” Thekla is cut off by an approaching noise, which turns out to be Giulia & the rest of DDM heading around the corner. “Oi, Thekla, Poi, hurry up!” Giulia calls “We need to check on MIRAI then head off for our run!” Whilst Thekla joins the front of the pack, Natsupoi collects herself before inwardly rolling her eyes at MIRAI’s obvious faking of injury, to cover over her miserable white belt challenge and to avoid the upcoming gruelling unit run. Just before the door to MIRAI’s bed, a grab on the arm pulls Poi into the opposite room, as Himeka shuts the door behind her. “What was that” Himeka questions “… Don’t brush me off, we’ve been through this before, in order to progress in this company, we need to start working through our problems together” Natsupoi’s head drops as she is unable to describe the conversation she has just had. Himeka squats in front of her to say “Look I’m not sure what happened in your performance meeting, or if Thekla said something but I believe in you, DDM believes in you, the question is do you believe in yourself? You’ve got a choice, either wallow away feeling sorry for yourself, or pick yourself back up and push forward with our support” Himeka’s now outstretched hand is eventually clasped by Natsupoi, who seems to want to step up and fight!
 5. State of the Universe Week 1 July 2022 It was fun to look around the world at what other companies are up to … and stare longingly at Io Shirai’s contract … ahem I mean and to scout out my rivals … and to view the 1 year 1 month duration of Io’s contract and send out feelers for Io coming back … Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW) have started strongly, even if they dropped Miyu Yamashita on day 2 of the save! Profits of 300k since the start of the diary bring their balance to just over 1 million, Maki Itoh & Miyu Yamashita signed to new contracts and shows generally hovering in the high 50’s all add up to the company rising 1 pop point a month. Their secret weapon is putting Itoh in the main event, where their show ratings jump to mid 60’s! Click here to see Titles Princess of Princess – Miyu Yamashita (3) – 5 defences – 391 days Princess Tag Team – Magical Sugar Rabbits (Mizuki & Yuka Sakazaki) (2) – 10 defences – 251 days International Princess – Hikari Noa – 11 defences – 391 days Tokyo Princess Cup – Not run this year yet Futari No Princess Max Heart Tournament – Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Kamifuka Ice Ribbon Ice Ribbon have run 1/3 of their shows in the 100 capacity dojo venue, which may be why they are bleeding money, current balance at -70k. As they haven’t cancelled any shows and have been growing their rosters pop nicely, it’ll be a shame when they go bust as other companies will look to poach stars… Click here to see Titles ICExInfinity – Saori Anou – 0 defences – 22 days International Ribbon Tag Team – Rising Force (Haruka Umesaki & Itsuki Aoki) – 1 defence – 53 days FantastICE – Ram Kaicho – 3 defences – 141 days Triangle Ribbon – Rina Yamashita – 0 defences – 22 days IW-19 – Hiroyo Matsumoto – 5 defences – 113 days OZ Academy OZ Academy are on the other hand have been cancelling shows alongside being 50k in debt. Despite hiring Mizuki from TJPW and Arisa Nakajima who are putting in mid 60’s rated performances, they haven’t managed to turn the sinking ship around … Click here to see Titles OZ Academy Openweight – Rina Yamashita – 1 defence – 43 days OZ Academy Tag Team – Hiroyo Matsumoto & Rina Yamashita – 1 defence – 174 days Sendai Girl’s Pro Wrestling Sendai Girl’s Pro Wrestling are the final company who have started positively but in the last 3 months lost 7k, 19k, 31k, which is a worryingly monthly increasing trend, potentially the next Joshi company to go under. It has directly tied into them making the jump up to small size, so hopefully they can turn it around. Current top Champ Chihiro is out for another 20 days with a hernia but has been growing in ring wise by 5 skill points pretty much across the board.… Click here to see Titles Sendai Girls World – Chihiro Hashimoto (5) – 6 defences – 916 days Sendai Girl Tag Team – Mio Momono & Andras Miyagi – 0 defences – 39 days Sendai Girls Junior Title – Andras Miyagi – 0 defences – 21 days Sendai Girls Royal Tag Tournament - Not run this year yet Apparently, they bought two titles, AAAW – originally GAEA Japan owned – forgive me I don’t watch Sendai Girls, so I don’t know if they did this irl or just in game AAAW – Hiroyo Matsumoto – 5 defences – 162 days AAAW Tag Team – Ryo Mizunami & Yuu – 0 defences – 22 days SEADLINNNG SEADLINNNG having been on a hiring spree snapping up 24 in ring workers, which is a little crazy for a tiny company having now 49 in ring workers! At least they are turning a tiny profit / giving work to the majority of free agents! Arisa Nakajima has consistently been putting on title defences in the 70’s which is hugely impressive… they seem allergic to tag team title matches, only having the belt defended once since May 2021… Click here to see Titles SEADLINNNG Beyond the SEA – Arisa Nakajima (2) – 3 defences – 174 days SEADLINNNG Beyond the SEA Tag Team – ASUKA & Makoto (2) – 0 defences – 174 days Marvelous Marvelous are chugging along nicely. Turning a 5k profit but not growing any real pop, they seem content selling 200 odd tickets putting on cards rated in the 50’s… No Title belts weirdly – cagematch.net has Takumi Iroha holding the AAAW belt irl … so Sendai Girls stole their belt?!? Savages! Gatoh Move Gatoh Move have bounced back from losing popular tag team best bro’s (With Mai Saruga going to AEW on an exclusive written, and Baliyan Akki weirdly going to TJPW) with Maya Yukihi, Shoko Nakajima, Ram Kaicho & Maki Itoh. They seem primed to continue to carve a real niche in the Japanese scene… Click here to see Titles Super Asia – Vacant after Mei Saruga was signed exclusively to AEW in Week 1 April Asia Dream Tag Team – SAKI & Ram Kaicho – 1 defence – 64 days New Japan Pro Wrestling New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) have grown 10 pop to 80’s across Japan, massively leading the way for Japan! They’ve risen to Big by seemingly cutting all ties with other major promotions and becoming hostile with CMLL, WWE, RevPro, ROH, Noah, & Impact. They agree to send developmental talent to DDT, then became hostile with them a week later… bizarre aha. Okada doing Okada type things by scoring 99 match ratings with Shibata & Ibushi! 7.
My Advice =

1) Scan through the 2 and a half pages on here to see diaries posted in the last month, so there is a greater chance they will be uploading frequently.

2) Test out and read one show (because we post diaries on here as a hobby, The chances are that the show, tour or ppv formats are going to be the same style throughout)

3) Don't be afraid to branch out, if a diaries got 30+ replies they have a higher chance of continuing, so it might be worth checking out a show as you may enjoy their style.

4) Don't be surprised if they stop randomly (as this is a hobby a large number of diaries don't make it past the 3 month mark due to a whole host of legitimate reasons).

Leaving a positive comment about what you like or are excited about a diary will give them some encouragement to write more but ultimately real life has to take priority.

Opening Match: Oedo Tai (Ruaka and Saki Kashima) vs STARS (Hazuki and Saya Iida) Pre-Match Promos: STARS (Hazuki and Saya Iida): Hazuki is disappointed Momo Kohgo couldn’t pick up the win earlier but isn’t keen on listening to Iida’s advice on where Kohgo went wrong, even though Iida is a former Future off STARDOM champion. They both agree to work together to win tonight though. Oedo Tai (Ruaka and Saki Kashima): Saki lays into the concept of STARS, resenting their sheep like mentality. Ruaka slurps away on her juice box, repeating certain words she agrees with like a parrot. Match Overview: STARS put their pre-match disagreement behind them to work together to simply outclass Oedo Tai in this opening contest. Oedo Tai looked toothless not even close to picking up the win, as eventually Hazuki picks up the inevitable win over Ruaka. STARS [Hazuki (61) and Saya Iida (50)] defeated Oedo Tai [Ruaka (37) and Saki Kashima (44)] in 9:42 when Hazuki pinned Ruaka with a Diving Senton (52). Match 2: Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano, Mai Sakurai and Unagi Sayaka) vs Prominence (Mochi Miyagi, Akane Fujita and Hiragi Kurumi) Pre-Match Promos: Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano, Mai Sakurai and Unagi Sayaka): A battered Tam wants to give full responsibility to Unagi & Mai to step up and show what Cosmic Angels is all about. Tam will try but her back is still hurting from the Prominence attack last time out. Prominence (Mochi Miyagi, Akane Fujita and Hiragi Kurumi): Prominence are noticeably excited to flex their muscles without the orders of Suzu Suzuki or Risa Sera. The look like they have a weight lifted off their shoulders. Match Overview: Prominence come out of the gate wrestling like a well-oiled machine. They isolated each Cosmic Angels member and systematically beat them down. What shocked Prominence was how resilient their opponents were by refusing to stay down. Any pinfall attempt on Cosmic Angels was broken up by the other 2 members, highlighting that they took Tam’s pre match words to heart. Tam, emboldened by her team’s courage, fought her way over to her teams corner to make the desperation tag to Unagi, who goes wild cleaning house then hitting her Gory Special for the huge upset win. Cosmic Angels [Tam Nakano (57), Mai Sakurai (29) and Unagi Sayaka (41)] defeated Prominence [Mochi Miyagi (37), Akane Fujita (45) and Hiragi Kurumi (36)] in 10:35 when Unagi Sayaka pinned Hiragi Kurumi with a Gory Special (42). Match 3: Koguma vs Mayu Iwatani Pre-Match Promos: Koguma: Koguma has been happy with her return to STARDOM, therefore, she is still baffled as to why Mayu has called her out for a battle. Mayu Iwatani: A guarded Mayu promises to do her best to find the answers she is looking for. She encourages everyone to “Check it out” in a slow, pensive fashion rather than her usual enthusiasm. Match Overview: A tense open as Mayu & Koguma showcase their high-speed skills, kip-up and pose. Midway through the match, both competitors trade strikes back and forth, as Koguma’s forearm shots are answered back by Mayu’s kicks in return. Koguma finishes the sequence by encouraging Mayu to repeatedly kick her, the third blow to the side of the head drops Koguma. A perfect storm of the STARS member’s not clicking and Koguma being really off her game meant that the match never kicked on past third gear. When the last 10 second call is made by the announcer, a defeated Mayu launches herself into a hug at Koguma, who catches her and head pats her as the time limit expires. Koguma (41) drew with Mayu Iwatani (69) in 10:00 when the time limit expired (52). Angle: Mayu Iwatani apologies to Koguma for letting jealousy get the better of her, instead of being happy that her friend was given a huge opportunity against KAIRI. A confused Koguma hugs Mayu, forgiving her (57). Match 4: Goddess of STARDOM Number 1 Contendership: Cosmic Angels (Mina Shirakawa & Waka Tsukiyama) vs Donna del Mondo - Himepoi (Himeka and Natsupoi) vs Queen’s Quest (AZM and Utami Hayashishita) vs Oedo Tai – Black Desire (Starlight Kid and Momo Watanabe) Pre-Match Promos: Cosmic Angels (Mina Shirakawa & Waka Tsukiyama): Mina is determined to help Waka to gain her first pinfall, urging Waka to try her best to take advantage of the opportunities presented to her while she can. Donna del Mondo - Himepoi (Himeka and Natsupoi): Himeka has been impressed with Natsupoi’s recent performances, combined they are looking to be the winning combination. Queen’s Quest (AZM and Utami Hayashishita): AZM is working with STARDOM Management to ensure that her wish comes true of facing Momo Watanabe in a singles match. Right now, she looks forward to Utami’s support to raise her to the next level to be a “worthy” opponent for Momo. Oedo Tai – Black Desire (Starlight Kid and Momo Watanabe): Black Desire are looking forward to stamping their authority on STARDOM by winning tonight’s match, then going on to secure more gold. Match Overview: This match picked up the pace with an entertaining four-way tag team match, where each team had 1 competitor legal in the match, leading to a huge number of bodies chaotically wrestling around each other. AZM & Utami fought through their zero-chemistry thanks to their shared hatred of Oedo Tai, as both teams took each other out by brawling with each other. This left HimePoi to square off against Waka & Mina, who simply couldn’t touch the level the DDM pair are currently operating on, leading to HimePoi emerging victorious. Donna del Mondo – Himepoi [Himeka (48) and Natsupoi (56)] defeated Queen’s Quest [AZM (50) and Utami Hayashishita (53)], Oedo Tai – Black Desire [starlight Kid (65) and Momo Watanabe (61)] and Cosmic Angles [Mina Shirakawa (43) and Waka Tsukiyama (31)] in 18:17 when Himeka submitted Waka Tsukiyama with an Argentine Backbreaker (60). Match 5: KAIRI vs Saya Kamitani Pre-Match Promos: KAIRI: KAIRI has heard great things about QQ and in particular Saya. Her friend Io Shirai left behind big boots to fill, so getting an up-close look at the future is exciting for KAIRI. Saya Kamitani: Obviously nervous about facing a woman as talented as KAIRI, Saya still wants to put her all into this upcoming battle. Match Overview: Saya used her height advantage in this contest to her advantage, constant keeping KAIRI at arms reach to try to stop her momentum. KAIRI’s flying headscissors woke Kamitani up after her high-flying moves were scouted. AZM on the side-lines starts to bang the mat to rally the crowd and urge Kamitani to quicken the pace. This shift in pace did help Kamitani momentarily but ultimately the class of the Pirate shone through, with the picture-perfect Insane Elbow lead to the academic 1,2,3! KAIRI (70) defeated Saya Kamitani (56) in 16:47 by pinfall with an Insane Elbow (64). Semi Main: Wonder of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: MIRAI vs 17th Champion Suzu Suzuki © Pre-Match Promos: MIRAI: MIRAI has enjoyed working in DDM, learning from true greats. She is confident that she will put up not just a good fight but sniff out Suzu’s title reign before it’s even begun. Suzu Suzuki: Still completely obsessed with Giulia, Suzu wants to expose DDM and question Giulia’s decision making as to who she surrounds herself with. Suzuki likes the feel of this white belt on her shoulder and artist belt on her waist, therefore, she is not looking to lose either of them any time soon. Match Overview: MIRAI simply couldn’t keep up with the quality and intensity Suzu brought to this title match. For 19 years old the world is truly at Suzu’s feet, not letting up her attack for a moment and ultimately simply outclassed her DDM opponent. Suzu could have had the match won at the 14 minute mark, but pulls MIRAI’s shoulders off the canvas at the 2 count to add insult to injury before finally finishing her off for a successful first title defence. Suzu Suzuki (51) defeated MIRAI (37) in 16:23 by pinfall with a Flying Moonsault. Suzu Suzuki makes defence number one of the Wonder of Stardom title (50). Angle: Suzu Suzuki tells the other 3 members of Prominence who lost to Cosmic Angels earlier in the night to get out of her ring. She insults them for losing to a team like Cosmic Angels, before calling out Tam Nakano for her next defence, shocked at how someone like Tam was able to defeat Giulia for this white belt! (48). Main Event: World of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: Risa Sera vs 14th Champion Syuri © Pre-Match Promos: Risa Sera: Just 3 short days after an intense battle with Tam Nakano, Risa Sera is looking forward to cementing Prominence as the most dominate faction in STARDOM. Heavy emphasis is placed on Sera taking her rightful spot as the true leader of Prominence. Syuri: Syuri is laser focussed on Risa Sera, willing herself to ignore the noise from Giulia, DDM & Prominence, as taking her focus of the red belt for a second will surely lead to the end of her reign Match Overview: A slow build match opened up with some trading submission holds, as Sera did her absolute best to keep Syuri grounded and to avoid those kicks. DDM were on hand to stop any Prominence shenanigans ensuring they could not interfere in this contest. Risa Sera’s huge swing attempt is cut off at the third rotation as Syuri manages to cling to the bottom rope, to launch Sera away, back and forth finisher exchanges ends with Syuri securing the hard fought win. Syuri (80) defeated Risa Sera (53) in 23:26 by pinfall with a KG Flash. Syuri makes defence number five of the World of Stardom title (75). Show Closing Angle: Syuri is grateful for Giulia's support but makes a point to state she didn’t need her help and then questions her help and support of Cosmic Angels before DDM. Syuri goes to celebrate with her title but pirate music can be heard as KAIRI eyes up her quest for gold (66). Show Grade: 71 Show Notes - A building show for sure, setting up multiple title matches, as HimePoi are first in line for the goddesses belts & Cosmic Angels have to be first in line for those Artist belts! - MIRAI has well and truly blown her chance to be anything more than DDM’s pin eater after truly fumbling the bad against Suzu Suzuki, hopefully Tam Nakano can help to wipe the stink of that first defence challenger! - KAIRI will team up with Kamitani to face Saki Kashima & Fukigen death during the tour, before finishing off her tour of the factions with a red belt match with the incredible Syuri, who was an absolute star tonight! Syuri seems determined to be a leader within DDM but with Giulia’s return & Prominence’s love of messing up plans, there are lots of moving parts regarding this defence. Semi Main: MIRAI vs Suzu Suzuki © Match Preview: Suzu’s first white belt defence comes against MIRAI, which should add more fuel to the fire of the faction rivalry. This should also allow MIRAI to have a second chance at redeeming herself, after an incredibly slow start in terms of ratings in this diary. Match 5: KAIRI vs Saya Kamitani Match Preview: KAIRI’s third faction trial callout is a face to face with STARDOM’s future, in what should be a really fun, high flying contest! Match 4: Cosmic Angels (Mina Shirakawa & Waka Tsukiyama) vs Donna del Mondo - Himepoi (Himeka and Natsupoi) vs Queen’s Quest (AZM and Utami Hayashishita) vs Oedo Tai (Starlight Kid and Momo Watanabe) Match Preview: Goddesses of STARDOM number 1 contendership, contested here in a 4 way Tag team match as QQ & Oedo Tai will be aiming straight at each other, compared to Cosmic Angels & DDM both needing a win here to regain some momentum. Match 2: Prominence (Mochi Miyagi, Akane Fujita and Hiragi Kurumi) defeated Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano, Mai Sakurai and Unagi Sayaka) Match Preview: A frustrated Tam Nakano places her trust in Mai & Unagi to help her start to dent the unstoppable Prominence. This should be a perfect showcase for Prominence’s support players to really step up. Opening Match: Oedo Tai (Ruaka and Saki Kashima) vs STARS (Hazuki and Saya Iida) Match Preview: I’ve given Hanan & Fukigen Death the night off so that I’m not running another Oedo Tai throw away 6 man but this should be an awesome way to kick off the PPV! Angle: Mayu requests a singles match with Koguma with a 10 minute time limit, Koguma accepts but is confused why Mayu doesn’t tell her why she wants this match at SuperNova … (57). Main Event: Risa Sera (49) defeated Tam Nakano (53) in 16:25 when Tam Nakano was counted out fighting Giulia at ringside (56). Show Closing Angle: After Tam brought a barbed wire baseball bat to the ring in her entrance, and Prominence introduced a bag of thumbtacks halfway through the match, pouring it across one corner of the ring, it added an interesting match up to this singles match. As Giulia ruins the finish, Tam manages to get back into the ring once the match is over but Giulia continue to be on her back. To remove Giulia, Tam struggles to bend down to reach her bat, and whacks Giulia twice, leading to Giulia to drop off and roll in agony. Prominence use this to launch Tam back first into the thumb tack corner, leaving both faction leaders selling in the middle of the ring, as Prominence laugh and scarper away (51). Show Grade: 53 Show Notes - Daichi get pulled up for poor attitude, Bull Nakano takes Hanan under her wing, then Fuka teaches microphone skills to Momo Watanabe. - Kamitani angry at Momo Kohgo for almost botching and hurting her … I’m not going to say anything after Kamitani’s botch cost me 6 months of storyline for Momo Watanabe lol - Despite Waka & Mina’s great chemistry, the top two matches certainly didn’t blow the roof off the place. Giulia’s return, 2 title matches, alongside KAIRI’s first PPV singles match announcement hopefully made the special event “special”. The show still increased pop across the board so it has to go down as another successful tour special show.

Show Closing Promo: Before Prominence can come out and attack Tam grabs the mic and rants about Suzu Suzuki not understand the value of STARDOM belts. She says Suzu is acting like Giulia’s little sister and one Giulia is more than enough for her STARDOM. She proposes a Cosmic Angels vs Prominence super show “SuperNova Galactic Fight” at Korakuen Hall next week! Artists & Goddess’ titles on the line! (39). Show Grade: 54 Show Notes - Mai Sakurai, Lady C, Momo Kohgo, Miyu Matsuda really off game, understandable as it is a tour show but it’s definitely starting to get annoying! - MIRAI & Syuri’s tension was explored during the match, but ultimately, they had too much firepower to lose here. - SuperNova Galactic Fight sounds like a Tam Nakano creation and should be a fun tour special to showcase Cosmic Angels arrival into the DDM vs Prominence storyline. - AZM & Starlight Kid showing out and carrying match 2 and 3 is all thanks to their strong Cinderella showing but still things you love to see.

 17. Thanks! Yes I loved the match irl, but my plan is for her hang on for a little while later before catapulting up hopefully! Literally made me gasp when that grade popped up first! Taking the tag belts off her & Koguma was definitely harsh. Yeah I felt bad about them having nothing to do, It doesn't get much better until Tora returns very soon! Poi has been the little fairy that could this save, forcing me to move her up for sure! So excited that KAIRI is here! She'll float after assessing the factions for a little while longer, but certainly big plans for her this year! True! When watching her vs Momo, the glassy eyes stunned sell is world class, then she pops off the second rope to hit a reverse poison hurricanrana, unbelievable! Just prime Mayu facing prime Momo is a thing of beauty. Haha yes the returning Giulia will have some words about Tam's fortune / faction similar to real life aha! poor Tamu I was so tempted to reset my save back, as Momo was supposed to main event and beat Kamitani for the white belt! So to see her be injured for the perfect amount of time ruined my storyline vs QQ. I still have an end match for the rivalry but I closed my laptop lid and had to walk away before rewriting the QQ vs Oedo Tai storyline! Suzu has some really strong contenders lined up so will be excited to see! Mayu copying the Keith Lee spot, of slowly rising up behind Kairi & Koguma, but instead of intimidatingly, looking really jealous of Koguma, the match is definitely teased! Popped me as I forgot how strong she is! That strength is ridiculous!
 18. Thank you Blodyxe! Its so motivating to hear! I was so inspired by the awesome presentation by other diaries on here, its really motivating to improve! Opening Match: Cosmic Angels (Mai Sakurai and Waka Tsukiyama) vs STARS (Hanan and Momo Kohgo) Pre-Match Promos: STARS (Hanan and Momo Kohgo): Hanan tells Momo to trust in her teacher Hazuki, like she has listened to Mayu, in order to represent STARS as well as possible Cosmic Angels (Mai Sakurai and Waka Tsukiyama): Whilst Waka is delighted to team with Mai, Sakurai is silent and almost tired looking Match Overview: Strangely enough, it was Hanan & Momo Kohgo showing zero chemistry in this match, completely working on opposite wave lengths, even subtly hinting at the Hazuki disillusionment storyline currently. Against any other competitors the STARS duo would have been in real trouble, however, Mai & Waka were just as out of synch, leading to Waka yet again taking the pinfall loss. STARS [Hanan (29) and Momo Kohgo (27)] defeated Cosmic Angels [Mai Sakurai (32) and Waka Tsukiyama (32)] in 6:06 when Hanan pinned Waka Tsukiyama with a Judo Throw (32). Match 2: STARS (Hazuki, Koguma and Saya Iida) vs Oedo Tai (Fukigen Death, Ruaka and Saki Kashima) Pre-Match Promos: STARS (Hazuki, Koguma and Saya Iida): Iida lectures FWC on getting back up after being knocked down, with tonight being the perfect chance to take a positive step. Oedo Tai (Fukigen Death, Ruaka and Saki Kashima): Death admonishes Ruaka for resting her feet up on her newspaper which was on a chair. Saki rally’s them for their match. Match Overview: The story of this match focussed on FWC, specifically Koguma & Hazuki rekindling their friendship and getting back onto the same page thanks to Iida. The second half of this match was Oedo Tai’s constant interference in these attempts, by trying to drive a wedge between them. The Finish came as a miscommunication lead to Koguma being tagged in unexpectedly, and Saki using this to her advantage, blindsiding Koguma with a brutal looking bulldog, lightning quick dropkick, then finally pinning Koguma with a tricky Revival flash pin. Any Oedo Tai post-match beat down is quickly snuffed out by an enraged Hazuki, but when she ultimately turns to Koguma, she picks her up and helps her recover. Oedo Tai [Fukigen Death (52), Ruaka (36) and Saki Kashima (45)] defeated STARS [Hazuki (60), Koguma (53) and Saya Iida (48)] in 11:19 when Saki Kashima pinned Koguma with a Revival (54). Match 3: Donna del Mondo (Maika, MIRAI, Natsupoi and Thekla) vs Prominence (Akane Fujita, Hiragi Kurumi, Mochi Miyagi and Risa Sera) Pre-Match Promos: Donna del Mondo (Maika, MIRAI, Natsupoi and Thekla): Maika & Natsupoi lead the DDM promo as Thekla & MIRAI couldn’t even be bothered to show up. Maika & Natsupoi are determined to represent 4 DDM members worth of performance and talent. Prominence (Akane Fujita, Hiragi Kurumi, Mochi Miyagi and Risa Sera): Risa Sera barks orders to the rest of Prominence as they look to set the standards for what it means to be the most dominate faction in the whole of Japan. Match Overview: Whilst it almost felt like this contest split into 3 teams, as expected, it did not stop these women showing up and knocking 7 bells out of each other. Maika & Risa Sera provided an interesting match up, combined with Natsupoi bumping like a mad person for Fujita. DDM couldn’t manage to swing the momentum back into their favor once Maika tagged out,. Although Thekla managed to get the better of Kurumi, only being thwarted by Prominence breaking pin attempts, MIRAI's cockiness when facing Sera ultimately lead to the factions downfall. Prominence [Akane Fujita (38), Hiragi Kurumi (36), Mochi Miyagi (35) and Risa Sera (45)] defeated Donna del Mondo [Maika (49), MIRAI (42), Natsupoi (53) and Thekla (45)] in 14:18 when Risa Sera pinned MIRAI with a Diving Double Knee Drop (50). Match 4: Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano and Unagi Sayaka) vs KAIRI and Mayu Iwatani Pre-Match Promos: Cosmic Angels (Unagi Sayaka and Tam Nakano): More faction dissention, this time Tam Nakano refuses to let Unagi get ahead of herself and steal the spotlight once again. Unagi has to reluctantly accept to stick to the game plan. KAIRI and Mayu Iwatani: Kairi can’t hide her excitement to being back as she is delighted to be reacquainted with the STARDOM fans. Mayu is delighted to support Kairi in her return to STARDOM, looking forward to reuniting Match Overview: Mayu took all of that excitement and put in a incredible performance, slightly overshadowing the returning Kairi. Unagi did follow the game plan … until the last two minutes where herself and KAIRI stood across from each other, with Unagi announcing that she will be assessing the pirate! Some brutal offence and a picture perfect Insane Elbow later, Unagi could only hold up a weak thumbs up after KAIRI made the cover and secured the win. KAIRI (70) and Mayu Iwatani (81) defeated Cosmic Angels [unagi Sayaka (43) and Tam Nakano (59)] in 17:20 when KAIRI pinned Unagi Sayaka with a Insane Elbow (69). Angle: Kairi wants her first singles match back against Koguma, Koguma accepts, sad face Mayu is shown in the background (61). Match 5: High Speed Title Match: Challenger: AZM vs 21st Champion Starlight Kid © Pre-Match Promos: AZM: AZM questions what happened to the old Starlight once again, as she states her claim to rekindle the High Speed title, then finally get her main event match with Momo Watanabe. Starlight Kid: Kid is busy running down the wreckless Kamitani for injuring her best friend Watanabe. She is just as interested in writing off AZM’s win at the Cinderella and continue on her quest to break the record for the most High Speed defences. Match Overview: Another classic between these two, it truly is impossible for these two to put on a bad match. Call-backs a plenty, as AZM scouts Kid’s constant attempts to escape behind Oedo Tai when the match momentum shifts towards AZM’s favour, compared to Kid who impressively dodges 2 AZM attempts to slide across the ring and trip her ankles. Kid manages to kick out of AZM Sushi & hit her Black Tiger Driver for the clean victory. Starlight Kid (63) defeated AZM (60) in 14:33 by pinfall with a Black Tiger Driver. Starlight Kid makes defence number six of the High Speed title. (69). Angle: Kid offers a fist bump, but AZM can’t bring herself to reply, Kid mocks her insinuating that maybe AZM has found her brain and is starting to learn something (53). Semi Main: Wonder of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: Suzu Suzuki vs 16th Champion Saya Kamitani © Pre-Match Promos: Suzu Suzuki: STARDOM’s self-proclaimed “Savior” takes all the credit for saving this card, mockingly asking the STARDOM fans to individually thank her for saving their company. Saya Kamitani: Kamitani has been wary of Prominence’s takeover and seems determined to be the final line of defence for the company. Match Overview: Kamitani was well and truly grounded in this affair, as Suzu kicked into another gear of intensity and aggression, looking to emulate Giulia in holding the white & Artist belts. Saya’s tall frame was wrapped up in brutal submissions and slick chain wrestling moves. Any attempt to climb to the top rope was shut down instantly, with the champ hitting the outside multiple times, hard, knocking the wind out of her. Although Saya put up a valiant effort, she was unable to handle the quality of Suzu Sukuki, succumbing to the Flying Moonsault straight out of Io Shirai’s playbook for the 1,2,3! Suzu Suzuki (56) defeated Saya Kamitani (54) in 22:29 by pinfall with a Flying Moonsault. Suzu Suzuki wins the Wonder of Stardom title (61). Angle: Suzu & Prominence stand tall once again, as Suzu kicks a downed Kamitani out of the ring and soaks in the glory. She then issues her first white belt title challenge out to MIRAI, as she can’t wrap her head around why the great Giulia would replace her with a loser like MIRAI (41). Main Event: World of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: Himeka vs 14th Champions Syuri © Pre-Match Promos: Himeka: Himeka has put in so many hours of in ring time for STARDOM for this one moment. She doesn’t care that a fellow DDM member is standing across the ring from her, as she refuses to leave the ring tonight with any regrets. Syuri: Syuri knows and respects the physical challenge Himeka will put her through, as she has seen during DDM training sessions the raw power of her opponent up close. Syuri's reply to Himeka's power will be strikes of equal power and the heart of fighting for something even more powerful as the secret edge to retaining her red belt. Match Overview: The match was ugly in all the best ways as the two ladies laid into each other with brutal offence and some ring shakingly powerful brawling. Syuri was knocked off game by the determination in Himeka’s attacks but is still experiencing amazing form which ultimately allows her to keep on moving forward. Fighting spirit was on display by both ladies who power out of each other’s finishing moves at the count of one! Ultimately, a ring post bounce and two brutal head kicks allow Syuri to take control of the match, pick Himeka up for her finish and retain her title. Syuri (75) defeated Himeka (51) in 19:53 by pinfall with a Shin Seijin Clutch. Syuri makes defence number four of the World of Stardom title (71). Show Closing Angle: Syuri acknowledges her successful fourth defence before stating her desire to knock off Prominence for good by herself. She calls out Risa Sera to face her next, laying the gauntlet down to Prominence’s true leader (43). Show Grade: 68 Show Notes - Mayu overshadowing KAIRI by 11 points was surprising, given how incredibly talented both ladies are. I’m so happy KAIRI is back, I waited until after the Cinderella unlike real life, as surely Kairi now has to win the tournament! - I seem to have a lot of infighting factions which is looking a tad repetitive. Hopefully I can tweak and turn people at just the right time for things to make sense! - Having Recently watched a handful of Suzu & Prominence youtube videos … my goodness is Suzuki an unbelievable prospect! If I was STARDOM, I’d be throwing serious money at Prominence to keep them for at least the year! Apologies for the delay, really busy end of the week work wise and some travelling to recover from. Syuri has to stay focussed in this 4th defence of her World of STARDOM title as she looks to continue to lead STARDOM from the front. Semi Main: Suzu Suzuki vs Saya Kamitani © Match Preview: Saya makes her 4th defence of the Wonder of STARDOM title against substitute Suzu Suzuki. Kamitani will be gutted her mistake which caused Momo Watanabe to be injured has cost her a main even slot here but make no mistake, Suzuki will give her a tough challenge. Suzuki seems desperate to win the White belt, to copy then overtake what Giulia was able to do when she held two belts. Match 5: AZM vs Starlight Kid © Match Preview: After defeating Starlight Kid in the Cinderella finals, AZM squares of against her eternal rival Starlight Kid for the High Speed title, with Kid making her 6th Defence. Definitely a potential show stealer here. Match 3: Donna del Mondo (Maika, Natsupoi, MIRAI & Thekla) vs Prominence (Akane Fujita, Hiragi Kurumi, Mochi Miyagi & Risa Sera) Match Preview: 8 man tag team match against DDM & Prominence will be as chaotic as it looks on paper. It will be interesting to see the two different dynamics as MIRAI & Thekla try to work together with Maika & Natsupoi, with Risa Sera taking a leadership role on the other. Match 2: STARS (Hazuki, Koguma, Saya Iida) vs Oedo Tai (Fukigen Death, Saki Kashima & Ruaka) Match Preview: STARS are looking to regroup after losing their Goddesses belt and failing in their artists challenge against an Oedo Tai trio who can’t seem to escape lower card trios action. With their leader Tora returning in just over 1 months’ time, hopefully Oedo Tai will get the much needed shock to the system to push up the card! Opening Match: Cosmic Angels (Mai Sakurai & Waka Tsukiyama) vs STARS (Momo Kohgo & Hanan) Match Preview: Mixing up the formula by kicking off the PPV with a tag team match, against the rookies of STARS and Cosmic Angels. Whilst Waka, Kohgo & Hanan seems determined to continue to try their best, Mai is looking more and more disillusioned. 25. Last 2 tour shows at the bottom of the last page, worth a flick through as an injury ruined my main event! <div style="width:1200px;border radius: 40px 40px 40px 40px;-webkit-border-radius: 40px 40px 40px 40px;background: rgba(173,216,230);border: 17px double #000000; max-width:90%";"> Breaking News: Ice Ribbon & OZ Academy on the Brink!? Friday Week 4 May 2022 We have learnt from our sources that joshi professional wrestling companies Ice Ribbon & OZ Academy are “weeks away” from bankruptcy! We also hear that big money Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and World Wonder Ring STARDOM are sniffing around looking to see if they can poach top talent or takeover the struggling companies all together! Regardless, it looks highly likely that a huge shift in the joshi landscape is right around the corner! Yes, I don’t know how to feel about this or what to do so I would love some opinions! Money isn’t a problem as the price tag of 70k for Ice Ribbon and 50k for OZ can be repaid in half a month with our current profits. The issue is, I’m barely booking Mayu Iwatani / Tam Nakano / Utami Hayashishita in anything major so far, which on top of KAIRI coming in means the roster is jam packed! I could buy one of them for a developmental or just poach the top names such as Rina Yamashita, Tsukasa Fujimoto, Maya Yukihi, Saori Anou. Any opinions or thoughts I would really appreciate though!
