  1. Pretty sure this is something that would have to be scripted into the game, by the game makers. And not something we could do on the edit database end. And for a freelancer to do that on their own, they would need to know the coding language the game used and probably an okay from greydog software.

That's a real killer, anything past cosmetic changes is completely locked out due to the game being apparently coded in something called "visual basic" which from what I hear is a totally outdated (declared a legacy program by microsoft in 2008 and hasn't recieved updates since) programming language that nobody knows how to/wants to use so there is a real artificial barrier here.

  2. It's very cumbersome in this game to check the stats of each worker individually to know when a skill has gone up/down, clicking from window to window on each and every stat to see that most haven't gone up anyways. So instead of wasting a lot of time having to click through all these windows, there would be a "Worker Progress" section of the office under the creative section or in the roster menu where we could see our entire roster at a glance. It would be a big chart, and you could set it by week/month/year/etc where it could display:

Worker A has improved his Stamina skill from 79 to 80.

Worker B has lowered his Star Quality skill from 55 to 54.

Or alternatively, something more simple like:

    Worker A 7980 Stamina

    Worker B 5554 Star Quality

    And then possibly:

Worker C's Legs health has lowered from 82 to 81.

Worker D's Head health has lowered from 84 to 16 after a botch from Worker E. (Heavy Concussion)

Worker F has recovered his Arms health back to 74.

Just to see what the body is up to.

I think having this would save the time, health, and sanity of very many people. But I don't know how you could put this kind of thing in, or if it's even possible by a modder to do. I would certainly like to learn how, I am new to modding but this would be worth learning how to make. Anyone who wants to make this is free to take my idea as well. I would be learning from scratch and if you have the know how, please feel free to use this idea.

What do you guys think about this? Would it be a good addition to the game, or is it too far into a "cheating" territory?

It can get really cumbersome to have to check the stats of each worker individually to know when a skill has gone up/down, clicking from window to window on each and every stat to see that most haven't gone up anyways. So instead of wasting a lot of time having to click through all these windows, we could have a "Worker Progress" section of the office under the creative section or in the roster menu where we could see our entire roster at a glance. It would be a big gridlike chart, and you could set it by week/month/year/etc where it could say things like:

Worker A has improved his Stamina skill to 80

Worker B has lowered his Star Quality skill to 54

Or alternatively, something more simple like:

    Worker A 7980 Stamina

    Worker B 5554 Star Quality

Worker C has had his Legs health drop to 81

Worker D has had his Head health drop to 16 after a botch from Worker E (Heavy Concussion)

Worker F Has recovered his Arms health back to 74

Overall, this game lacks a clear and cohesive way to really measure or track stats of your whole roster at a glance, and this would be an extremely helpful addition to save the time and sanity of people who want to keep their roster in check without contracting premature arthritis. I don't know how difficult this would be to implement, but I figure that it would be a great addition to the game that a lot of people would find really helpful.

  5. Under the Financial section, What exactly is "developmental" costs referring to? Is it a base cost for having a smaller developmental company, or does it grow by how many wrestlers you have there? I would love if someone could break it down for me because it's really killing my bank account in game and there isn't a section where it tells you anything about that, or child companies in particular.

I wish I could rollback my game a few months so I didn't waste all this time <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  8. Oh sorry to double post, but I see there's a monthly cap it you're running shows in the same area over and over. So you don't game the system and become a gigantic company just from running shows in one area.

Can you or someone else clarify this? Do I need to be getting to 31 pop in at least one other area before my "central europe" level goes up and I can get to small? This is so poorly explained in the game smh

  9. The latest patch completely ruined the game for smaller companies. A complete and hamfisted overreaction to the problem of hyper aggressive AI schedules causing rapid expansion.

Now you basically cant get over 30 pop as a tiny company and can never get on TV because you are too small and don't make enough money per show.

Annual/Special shows have been nerfed for developing unrealistic amounts of money, which was only necessary in the first place due to the series stagnant and somewhat unintuitive growth system in the first place.

The default data uses WrestleWorld as a crutch to artificially give growth potential to any small company, but the production demands are so high it will bankrupt most promotions that don't have a huge nest egg which is now much harder to achieve with attendance nerfs.

Oh, so what do I do... Just wait for the next patch to actually play the game? sheesh

  10. Is this a recent thing or have you been struggling at this for a while?

What broadcaster do you have? A recent patch made it so that a companies' popularity is capped by their broadcaster, so even if they're having great shows it won't increase unless there's enough people watching.

for the past few days on this save I have been struggling. I did it easier on a save maybe a few weeks ago but now it's totally stuck. I don't have a broadcaster at all because I am a tiny company. Does the economy or the wrestling industry have a lot to do with it? I feel like it does but I am really unsure.

  11. I have no clue why but I can't go up in size at all... I am playing VWA in europe and my size is stuck at 31. I really want to go up to small, but I just can't do it somehow. I just put up a show that was 67 Frickin' Points (which is the highest I have ever put up in my life) yet there was STILL no increase and that baffled me. I have been doing weekly shows, hiring great workers, and yet nothing is working. Please help me lads I'm so perplexed

Would you be open to making some small changes to make it look more like him?</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="3Hnl0Eo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3Hnl0Eo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  13. I have been playing for about a month now, and all I get is just positive stuff and no conflict or anything similar whatsoever. In the 2016 game, there was a lot of interesting conflicts between everybody and it was actually a fun challenge to keep people not too angry at each other. Now, it is just an annoying popup that I have to click through on every new event day that has absolutely no impact on my game at all.

Is this happening to anyone else at all? I just want to make sure it's not me.
