Monday, Week 4, February, 2015 WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Carlson Center (AK) 5,353 in Attendance) Pre-Show Nikki Bella versus Rosa Mendes In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Nikki Bella defeated Rosa Mendes in 17:35 by pinfall with a Bella Buster. Unfortunately this pre-show women’s division match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance not caring about Rosa Mendes at all. Ultimately, Nikki Bella picked up the all-important victory here in a match that went the distance after hitting Rosa Mendes with the Bella Buster. Match Rating: E+ Pre-Show: Dogs of War (Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre) versus Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Dogs of War defeated Authors of Pain in 18:11 when Drew McIntyre defeated Akam Dhinsa by pinfall with a Zig Zag Claymore Combination. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler took up their positions at ringside prior to this tag team match getting underway which saw the Dogs of War pairing of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre get the win after McIntyre pinned Akam Dhinsa following a Zig Zag/Claymore Kick combination. Match Rating: D+ Pre-Show: Bobby Roode versus Calvin Raines In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Bobby Roode defeated Calvin Raines in 18:19 by pinfall with a Payoff. Calvin Raines was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to Bobby Roode getting the win. Match Rating: D- Tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring to a mixed reception from the WWE Universe in attendance. Brock Lesnar is flanked by his “advocate” Paul Heyman and as the pair enters the ring Heyman receives a microphone from the ringside area. Paul Heyman says that his client Brock Lesnar is a beast, and will prove that in tonight’s non-title main event as Lesnar will decimate Sami Zayn just like Lesnar decimated Zayn’s tag team partner Fatsuhiko Nakajima last week. Heyman says that he urges the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox to find tougher competition for Lesnar as he has not tasted defeat in a very long time. Heyman says that Brock Lesnar will then go on to the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View this Sunday where Lesnar will defeat both Chad Gable and Bobby Roode in a Triple Threat match to defend his Universal Championship before going on to defeat the Royal Rumble winner Seth Rollins in the main event of WrestleMania to once again stand tall as your reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Heyman says that Brock Lesnar doesn’t do any of this for the WWE Universe; he does this for himself and his bank balance. Brock smiles as Paul Heyman says that there is not a soul on the Monday Night RAW roster who can compete with Brock Lesnar. The pair then leaves the ring and head to the back. Rating: C Non-Title: WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey versus Sexy Star In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Ronda Rousey defeated Sexy Star in 6:40 by submission with an Armbar. The Monday Night RAW commentary team note that Rousey will put her title on the line against Cheerleader Melissa this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Match Rating: D Following her victory Ronda Rousey celebrates with her title in front of the WWE Universe until Cheerleader Melissa rushes to the ring. As Melissa is about to attack Rousey from behind, Rousey turns around and Cheerleader Melissa flees the ring and heads to the back. Rating: D+ WWE 24/7 Championship: Carmella © versus Ember Moon versus Jack Swagger versus R-Truth In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, R-Truth defeated Jack Swagger, Ember Moon and Carmella in 5:59 when R-Truth defeated Carmella by pinfall with a What's Up? R-Truth wins the WWE 24/7 title. Unfortunately Jack Swagger has a dreadfully stale character, a change is really needed. Nevertheless, R-Truth pinned Carmella here to become the 24/7 Champion once again. Match Rating: D We cut backstage to find the former WWE Tag Team Champions Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder in conversation. Ryder says that he is so pleased that they are teaming up again and is sure that they will beat the Revival, the Dogs of War of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre as well as the One Percenters pairing of Derrick Bateman and Andrade Cien Almas in the Fatal Four-Way tag team match this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View to become the new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions. Rating: E Non-Title: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival versus The Lady Killers (Dunkerton and Elgin) In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, The Revival defeated The Lady Killers in 8:17 when Scott Dawson defeated Uncle Elgin by pinfall with a Shatter Machine. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler all agree that the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder looked impressive here as they beat the Lady Killers pairing of Sugar Dunkerton and Uncle Elgin. Match Rating: E+ Two men dressed as Vikings make their way to the ring. One of them receives a microphone from the ringside area and introduces himself as Erik and the other as Ivar. They say that they are the Viking Raiders and that this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View they will make their debut against the team of Bray Wyatt and Brodus Clay. Erik says that he is the Enforcer of the team and that they will go to war this Sunday and leave victorious. Rating: D- As Erik and Ivar, the Viking Raiders, begin to chant “War” at each other in the ring. Bray Wyatt appears on the Titan Tron. Wyatt is wearing a red sweater and is smiling. Wyatt says that Brodus Clay is his new friend, and that together their team will be known as “Firefly Funhouse”. Rating: D We cut backstage to find Road Dogg telling Alexa Bliss that this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View Alexa Bliss will team with Nikki Cross to take on Billie Kaye and Peyton Royce as well as Beth Phoenix and Kharma in a Triple Threat tag team match with the winning team getting a future shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Seth Rollins walks past and smiles at Alexa, and Road Dogg tells Rollins that he has heard from the RAW General Manager Brad Maddox that Rollins will be taking on Dean Ambrose this Sunday. Rating: D- WWE United States Championship: Samoa Joe © versus AJ Styles In a match that had some good action and average heat, AJ Styles defeated Samoa Joe in 8:20 by pinfall with a Springboard 450° Splash. AJ Styles wins the WWE United States title. The Monday Night RAW commentary team note that in just few months in the WWE AJ Styles has now won both the WWE Championship on SmackDown and the US Championship on RAW. Match Rating: C- Following his victory AJ Styles celebrates with the WWE Universe before William Regal comes to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand. Regal challenges AJ for a US Championship match this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View, and AJ accepts. Rating: D We return after a commercial break to find Rey Mysterio making his way to the ring. Mysterio says that it’s great to be back on RAW but before Rey can say anything else Seth Rollins joins him in the ring. Before Rollins can say anything to Rey the pair is attacked by the Shield’s Roman Reigns and William Regal. Regal takes a microphone from ringside and says that after Dean Ambrose finishes Rollins this Sunday, there’s no way that Rollins will be in any shape to challenge for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. Rating: D Non-Title: WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne versus Ezekiel Jackson In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Pete Dunne defeated Ezekiel Jackson in 5:36 by pinfall with a Bitter End. Pete Dunne and Ezekiel Jackson have pretty good chemistry as opponents and it lifted the match. Match Rating: D- Following his victory the UK Champion Pete Dunne celebrates in the ring until WALTER makes his way to the entrance-way and announces that this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View Dunne will be defending his title in a Triple Threat match against both WALTER and Wesley Blake. Rating: F- Goldberg makes his way to the ring to the delight and shock of the WWE Universe in attendance. However before Goldberg can say anything he is attacked by the Shield of Roman Reigns, William Regal, Dean Ambrose and Braun Strowman. Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Seth Rollins rush to the ring and the Shield back down and head to the back. Rating: D+ Non-Title: WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar versus Sami Zayn In a match that had some good action and average heat, Brock Lesnar defeated Sami Zayn in 12:58 by submission with a Kimura Lock. Paul Heyman accompanied his client Brock Lesnar to ringside for tonight’s main event that Brock won after forcing Sami Zayn to submit. Match Rating: C Post-Show: Chad Gable versus Solomon Crowe In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Chad Gable defeated Solomon Crowe in 13:03 by pinfall. The Monday Night RAW commentary team remained at ringside to watch this one as Chad Gable defeated Solomon Crowe. Match Rating: E- Post-Show: Brodus Clay versus Troy McClain In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Brodus Clay defeated Troy McClain in 12:54 by pinfall with a G-Grip. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe not caring at all about Troy McClain. This Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View Brock Lesnar will put his Universal Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Chad Gable and Bobby Roode. Brock Lesnar, accompanied by his advocate Paul Heyman, defeated Zayn’s “International Explosion” tag team partner Fatsuhiko Nakajima in last week’s RAW main event after forcing Nakajima to submit to the Kimura Lock. (Live from Carlson Center (AK), 4,904 in Attendance) Pre-Show: Summer Rae versus Tamina In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Tamina defeated Summer Rae in 18:23 by pinfall with a Samoan Drop. Summer Rae was really off her game tonight, which led to the second generation Superstar Tamina dominating the majority of this pre-show women’s division match that went the distance before Tamina finally picked up the all-important victory following a Samoan Drop. Tamina seemed superior to Summer Rae in every way tonight, especially in terms of physical power. Match Rating: E- Pre-Show: The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) versus Team Gorgeous (Knuckles Madsen and Tyler Breeze) In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, The Bar defeated Team Gorgeous in 17:32 when Sheamus defeated Tyler Breeze by pinfall with a Brogue Kick. The legendary British competitor Robbie Brookside accompanied the team of Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro, known to the WWE Universe as “The Bar”, to ringside for this pre-show tag team match and offered vocal support to his clients throughout the match which led to Sheamus and Cesaro getting the win after Sheamus pinned Tyler Breeze following a Brogue Kick. Match Rating: C- Pre-Show: John Cena versus Byron Saxton In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, John Cena defeated Byron Saxton in 18:15 by pinfall with an Attitude Adjustment. John Cena was really off his game tonight but was still able to get the victory here. Match Rating: C- Tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with Kofi Kingston making his way to the ring to a decent ovation from the WWE Universe in attendance. Kingston retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that for the last two weeks he has been attacked by a man that he used to call his best friend, and he used to call his brother in Big E Langston. Kofi says that he is fed up of being beaten up; he is fed up of being the victim. Kofi Kingston declares that at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View he will defeat Big E, Xavier Woods, Samoa Joe as well as both Jimmy and Jey Uso in their Elimination Chamber match and go on to challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. Kofi says that nothing will get in his way or stop him from fulfilling his dreams. Alexander Rusev then comes to the ring and says that the most important thing is the main event of tonight’s episode of SmackDown made by Eva Marie, the beautiful Friday Night SmackDown General Manager. Alexander Rusev says that he will beat Bobby Lashley tonight in the main event to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Kingston seems angry at being interrupted and he drops the microphone on the mat before hitting Rusev with a Trouble in Paradise. Kofi then leaves the ring and heads to the back as Rusev slowly gets to his feet in shock at what happened. Rating: E- Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka versus Layla In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Asuka defeated Layla in 6:57 by submission with a Kana Lock. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker all agree that Asuka looks focused heading into her title defence against Becky Lynch at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Match Rating: D We cut backstage to find Arn Anderson giving advice to the Funkadactyls pairing of Cameron and Naomi before the Elimination Chamber match to crown the first ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions when the Boss & Hug Connection of Sasha Banks and Bayley rush into the room and the two teams get into a brawl that has to be separated by Anderson. Rating: F+ WWE 24/7 Championship: R-Truth © versus Yoshi Tatsu versus Mickie James versus Carmella In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Carmella defeated Yoshi Tatsu, Mickie James and R-Truth in 7:03 when Carmella defeated Yoshi Tatsu by pinfall with a Code of Silence. Carmella wins the WWE 24/7 title. The commentary team note that Carmella is now the second ever 24/7 Champion and first female to hold the title following pinning Yoshi Tatsu to win this Fatal Four-Way match. Match Rating: D (Eugene would seriously consider either turning R-Truth or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.) Following the conclusion of the match Carmella celebrates with her newly won 24/7 Championship before heading to the back. Meanwhile, a distraught R-Truth turns his attentions to Yoshi Tatsu and hits him with a Scissors Kick before running off to the back. Rating: E Non-Title: SmackDown Tag Team Champions Resurrection vs. Braden Walker & Damien Sandow In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Resurrection defeated Walker & Sandow in 8:20 when Luke Gallows defeated Braden Walker by pinfall with a Twist of Fate. Bret “The Hitman” Hart accompanied the team of Braden Walker and Damien Sandow to ringside for this match, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. However, the SmackDown Tag Team Champions got the win here after Luke Gallows pinned Walker after Matt Hardy hit Walker with the Twist of Fate. Match Rating: D+ Following their victory the SmackDown Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Luke Gallows celebrate in the ring until Colt Cabana and Fandango join them in the ring and Fandango announces that at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View Fandango and Cabana will challenge Resurrection for the titles. The two teams then get into a brawl which has to be separated by The Miz, Jinder Mahal, Rene Dupree and Drake Younger. Rating: D Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank Kevin Owens versus Percy Watson In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kevin Owens defeated Percy Watson in 7:05 by pinfall with a Package Piledriver. Percy Watson could use something to freshen his character up. Match Rating: D+ We cut backstage to find Renee Young interviewing the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie who announces that Daniel Bryan will defend the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View against Shinsuke Nakamura. Big E Langston and Xavier Woods then walk into the room and say that they will work together in the Elimination Chamber match and they can guarantee that one of them will be going on to challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. Rating: D+ Erick Rowan versus Christian In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Erick Rowan defeated Christian in 7:37 by pinfall with Greetings from the North. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that Rowan looked dominant tonight. Match Rating: D As Erick Rowan celebrates his victory he is joined by Luke Harper who tells Rowan that he doesn’t want to fight any more and Rowan agrees. However, the SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie comes to the entrance-way and says that their match at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View is still on. Rating: E We cut backstage to find the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso looking into a camera as they say that whoever wins the SmackDown Tag Team Title match at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View, be it Resurrection or Fandanbanarama, the Uso’s will be coming for the titles in the near future. Rating: D WWE Intercontinental Championship: Bobby Lashley © versus Alexander Rusev In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Bobby Lashley defeated Alexander Rusev in 14:18 by pinfall with a Spear. Bobby Lashley makes defence number 3 of his WWE Intercontinental title. Lashley and Rusev have great chemistry as opponents and it showed in their performances here. Match Rating: D+ Post-Show: Big Show versus David Otunga In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Big Show defeated David Otunga in 12:49 by pinfall with a Knock Out Punch. Bobby Lashley became the new WWE Intercontinental Champion for the first time in his career back in January when he defeated both Kassius Ohno as well as the former Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat match on Monday Night RAW. Lashley then defeated both Kassius Ohno and Finn Balor at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View to make his first title defence. Since then, Lashley has moved to SmackDown and made his second successful title defence last week when he beat R-Truth in the evening’s main event. Can Rusev pick up the all-important victory here and leave with the Intercontinental Championship or will Lashley continue to show why he is the one true “Legitimate Athlete” in the WWE? Last night on 205 Live R-Truth defended the title successfully against TJ Perkins and tonight Truth will put the title on the line in a Fatal Four-Way match against Yoshi Tatsu, Mickie James and Carmella. Non-Title: SmackDown Tag Team Champions Resurrection vs. Braden Walker & Damien Sandow The WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Luke Gallows, known to the WWE Universe as “Resurrection”, will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as they will take on the newly formed team of Braden Walker and Damien Sandow in a non-title match. Last week on SmackDown following a victory over The Bar, Resurrection were interrupted by the pairing of Fandango and Colt Cabana and the pair got into a brawl that had to be separated by other WWE Superstars. Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank Kevin Owens versus Percy Watson Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank briefcase holder, Kevin Owens, will take on Percy Watson tonight on Friday Night SmackDown. Kevin Owens has been on an impressive winning streak on SmackDown but for the past few weeks his celebrations have been interrupted by videos hyping the young WWE Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine. Erick Rowan versus Christian Last week on Friday Night SmackDown following a victory against Goldust, Erick Rowan was joined in the ring by his tag team partner Luke Gallows which irritated Rowan and the former partners got into a brawl until the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie announced that Harper and Rowan will go one on one at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka versus Layla The WWE SmackDown women’s Champion Asuka will take on Layla in non-title action tonight just one week after Asuka learned that she will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Thursday, Week 3, February, 2015 WWE 205 Live (Live from Amarillo CC Grand Plaza (TX), 1,007 in Attendance) Pre-Show: Jay Briscoe versus Simon Gotch In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Jay Briscoe defeated Simon Gotch in 18:20 by pinfall with a Double Underhook Piledriver. Unfortunately this pre-show match was far too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe yet to really care about Simon Gotch despite him having made several appearances on 205 Live. Nevertheless, Jay Briscoe, the “Redneck” of 205 Live, picks up the all-important victory here. Match Rating: E Pre-Show: Rich Swann versus Bobby Fish In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Bobby Fish defeated Rich Swann in 18:24 by pinfall with a Moonsault. Bobby Fish seemed off his game tonight but was still able to pick up the victory against the “Fan Favourite” Rich Swann in this pre-show match after hitting an impressive Moonsault. Bobby Fish seems to be the real reason of “No Gimmicks Needed” and despite seeming a bit off his game at points, the WWE Universe were impressed with his athleticism again tonight. Whether competing on 205 Live or on NXT, Bobby Fish seems to impress. Match Rating: D Pre-Show: Cedric Alexander versus Chavo Guerrero In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Cedric Alexander defeated Chavo Guerrero in 18:01 by pinfall with an Atomic Wedgie Bomb. The 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, Billy Kidman and the 205 Live General Manager John “Bradshaw” Layfield took up their position at ringside prior to this match. Match Rating: D- Tonight’s edition of 205 Live kicks off with the 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, the former Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman and the 205 Live General Manager John “Bradshaw” Layfield welcoming the television audience to tonight’s show. They announce that tonight’s non-title main event will see the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy take on Eric Young in non-title competition. Buddy Murphy then makes his way to the ring to a chorus of jeers from the WWE Universe in attendance. The Australian Buddy Murphy takes a microphone from the ringside area and says that last week he was once again insulted by both TJ Perkins and Cedric Alexander by being called a “Bum”. Murphy says that he doesn’t care about insults because Murphy is undefeated since last November and tonight will beat Eric Young to continue his winning streak, just like he beat TJ Perkins last week. Just then, an unfamiliar music hits the arena and Tony Nese makes his way to the ring, making his first ever appearance on 205 Live. JBL says on commentary that Tony Nese is a “Young Lion” he signed personally to 205 Live and he is ready to make an impact. Nese grabs the microphone from Buddy Murphy and says that Murphy can add Tony Nese to the list of Superstars coming after the Cruiserweight Championship. Murphy looks angry and storms to the back as we head to our first commercial break of the evening. Rating: E+ WWE 24/7 Championship: R-Truth © versus TJ Perkins In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, R-Truth defeated TJ Perkins in 8:37 by pinfall with a Corkscrew Scissors Kick. R-Truth makes defence number 1 of his WWE 24/7 title. Unfortunately R-Truth has a dreadfully stale character and a change is really needed. Nevertheless, Truth defeats TJ Perkins here to make the first ever successful defence of the 24/7 Championship. Match Rating: D (Billy Kidman would seriously consider either turning R-Truth or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.) We cut backstage to find the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy preparing for tonight’s main event when he is approached by the former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander, who says that even though it’s hurting his nostrils to be so close to the “Bum” that is Murphy, Cedric wants to let Murphy know that even though Tony Nese showed up tonight, Cedric Alexander will not allow anybody to push in front of him in the chase of the Cruiserweight Championship. Rating: E Chris Jericho versus Dustin Rayz In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Chris Jericho defeated Dustin Rayz in 8:49 by submission with a Walls of Jericho. The performance of Chris Jericho stood out as being good tonight as the “Cheeky Monkey”, “Y2J” himself, picked up another victory on 205 Live, this time by submission following the Walls of Jericho. Match Rating: C- Following a commercial break we cut backstage once again to find Eric Young preparing for tonight’s 205 Live non-title main event against the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy. Eric Young looks focused when Buddy Murphy walks into the room and tells EY that Eric Young will sure as hell not be the one to defeat Buddy Murphy and end the greatest undefeated streak in 205 Live history. Eric Young tells Murphy he is a smelly “Bum” and to leave him alone, and he’ll see him in the ring tonight. Rating: E We cut to another backstage area to find Noam Dar approaching the young Mark Haskins. Noam Dar says that he might be from Scotland and Haskins might be from England but they are both part of Great Britain and that they should work together on 205 Live. Haskins agrees and the pair shake hands. Rating: E- Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy versus Eric Young In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Buddy Murphy defeated Eric Young in 11:18 by pinfall with a Murphy's Law. Scott Stanford and Billy Kidman both agree on commentary that Buddy Murphy has been impressive since winning the Cruiserweight Championship as Murphy is victorious again in tonight’s main event. Thursday, Week 3, February, 2015 The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live: Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy versus Eric Young The main event of tonight’s edition of 205 Live was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out from the 205 Live General Manager John “Bradshaw” Layfield and will see the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy take on Eric Young in non-title action. The Australian Buddy Murphy was victorious in last week’s 205 Live non-title main event against TJ Perkins despite having been called smelly and a “Bum” by both TJ Perkins and the former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander in the evening. Despite the words said against him and his questionable personal hygiene habits, Buddy Murphy is currently on a thirteen match winning streak since winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship from Cedric Alexander last November on an episode of 205 Live. In fact, Murphy hasn’t tasted defeat since losing to Chris Jericho at last year’s Survivor Series Pay-Per-View. Murphy’s opponent tonight, the “Fun Babyface” Eric Young, will be looking to pick up the all-important victory over Murphy tonight and possibly gain a future championship opportunity. Eric Young will also be looking to gain some positive momentum following being assaulted from behind by Kyle O’Reilly last week, with the pair having history going back to their time together competing in front of the NXT Universe in NXT last year. Murphy and Eric Young previously faced one another in a main event of 205 Live last month with Murphy picking up the win on that occasion. 24/7 Championship: R-Truth © versus TJ Perkins Last night on Monday Night RAW saw the unveiling of the brand new 24/7 Championship, a title that will be defended on every episode of RAW, Friday Night SmackDown and 205 Live. The “Rebel” R-Truth, who seems to not care about what the WWE Universe think so much these days, defeated Jason Jordan last night on RAW to become the first ever 24/7 Champion. Tonight R-Truth will be hoping to make his first successful title defence as he will put the title on the line against TJ Perkins, a “Fan Favourite” from the Philippines. Chris Jericho versus Dustin Rayz Last but certainly not least, the “Cheeky Monkey” himself, and former four-time Cruiserweight Champion Chris Jericho will take on Dustin Rayz for the very first time. Dustin Rayz will be making his 205 Live television debut tonight and sees himself as a bit of a “Bad Ass”. Rayz spent most of last year competing in front of the NXT Universe on NXT, and has victories over both Kalisto as well as one half of the current WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, Scott Dawson, to his name. Chris Jericho is undefeated on 205 Live and picked up an impressive win against Kalisto last week. Monday, Week 3, February, 2015 WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Century II Convention Center (KS) 5,221 in Attendance) Pre-Show: Billie Kay versus Rosa Mendes In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Billie Kay defeated Rosa Mendes in 18:29 by pinfall with a School Girl Crush. Billie Kay and Rosa Mendes have great chemistry as opponents and it showed in their performances here in this pre-show women’s division match that went the distance. Just a week after her bond with Peyton Royce was formed last week on Monday Night RAW, Billie Kay picks up the all-important victory here after hitting Rosa Mendes with her School Girl Crush finishing maneuver. Match Rating: E+ Pre-Show: The Lady Killers (Uncle Elgin & Sugar Dunkerton) versus Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Hawkins and Ryder defeated The Lady Killers in 17:51 when Zack Ryder defeated Sugar Dunkerton by pinfall with a Rough Ryder. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler took up their positions at ringside prior to this tag team math taking place that saw Hawkins and Ryder victorious over the new team of Uncle Elgin and Sugar Dunkerton. Match Rating: D Pre-Show: Bray Wyatt versus Corey Graves In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Bray Wyatt defeated Corey Graves in 18:11 by pinfall with a Standing Senton Splash. Bray Wyatt was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to get the win. Match Rating: D+ Tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. As usual, Lesnar is flanked by his associate Paul Heyman, who retrieves a microphone from the ringside area before entering the ring. Heyman says that at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View in just a few weeks, Brock Lesnar will continue his dominant reign as WWE Universal Champion when he will defeat both Bobby Roode and Chad Gable in their Triple Threat match. Heyman says that he hopes Roode, Gable, as well as the 2015 Royal Rumble match winner Seth Rollins will all be watching tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event when Brock Lesnar will conquer and dismantle Fatsuhiko Nakajima. Heyman says that Brock Lesnar continues to be given victims by the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox and that he looks forward to watching Brock destroy Nakajima tonight just like he did to that freak, Bray Wyatt, in last week’s RAW non-title main event. Bobby Roode then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone of his own in hand and says that Lesnar doesn’t scare him and that Bobby Roode has been a Champion everywhere he has ever been, and that Roode will be the one to take the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Rating: C Non-Title: WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey versus Sexy Star In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Ronda Rousey defeated Sexy Star in 5:59 by submission with an Armbar. Ronda Rousey seemed off her game tonight but was still able to get the submission victory here. Match Rating: D+ Following her victory Ronda Rousey celebrates in front of the WWE Universe with her RAW Women’s Championship until Cheerleader Melissa walks down to the ring with a microphone in hand. Melissa announces that she will challenge Ronda for the RAW Women’s Championship at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Melissa then steps in the ring with Ronda who begins to charge at Melissa who quickly flees the ring and heads to the back. Rating: D+ Non-Title: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival versus Dogs of War (Ziggler & McIntyre) In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, The Revival defeated Dogs of War in 7:57 when Scott Dawson defeated Drew McIntyre by submission. Dash Wilder was really off his game tonight which led to Ziggler and McIntyre focusing their offense on Wider for the majority of the match until Wilder was finally able to tag in Scott Dawson who forced McIntyre to tap out to win the match for his team. Match Rating: C- Following their victory the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival hold up their titles as Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre look on from outside of the ring with Zack Ryder comes to the entrance-way and announces that at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View The Revival will defend their titles in a Fatal Four-Way tag team match against Ziggler and McIntyre, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins as well as the One Percenters pairing of Derrick Bateman and Andrade Cien Almas. Rating: D- WWE 24/7 Championship: Jason Jordan versus R-Truth In an extremely poor match, R-Truth defeated Jason Jordan in 8:03 by pinfall with a Corkscrew Scissors Kick. R-Truth wins the WWE 24/7 title. R-Truth has a dreadfully stale character and a change is really needed. R-Truth became the first ever WWE 24/7 Champion here. Match Rating: D- (Terry Taylor would seriously consider either turning R-Truth or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.) We cut backstage to see Raquel Diaz applying make-up when she is approached by the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match winner Becky Lynch who is flanked by Beth Phoenix and Kharma. Becky reminds Diaz that she can do whatever she wants and will soon hold both the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships. Becky then instructs Beth Phoenix and Kharma to hold Raquel Diaz still whilst Becky slaps Diaz before walking away smiling. Rating: F Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe versus Alberto Del Rio In a match that had some good action and average heat, Samoa Joe defeated Alberto Del Rio in 8:28 by pinfall with a Muscle Buster. X-Pac accompanied Alberto Del Rio to ringside for this match but it was the US Champion Samoa Joe that was victorious. Match Rating: C We cut backstage to find the men’s Royal Rumble match winner Seth Rollins approaching Peyton Royce. He welcomes her to the Monday Night RAW roster and says that he is excited to see both Peyton and Billie Kay compete. Rating: D- Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring with a microphone in hand. Ambrose tells the WWE Universe that he is fed up of Seth Rollins walking around backstage like he owns Monday Night RAW. Ambrose says that he will be the roadblock on Rollins’ road to WrestleMania. Rating: C- Non-Title: WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne versus Ezekiel Jackson In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Pete Dunne defeated Ezekiel Jackson in 7:48 by pinfall with a Bitter End. Pete Dunne and Ezekiel Jackson have pretty good chemistry as opponents and it lifted the match. Match Rating: D- Following his victory Pete Dunne celebrates in front of the WWE Universe with his UK Championship until WALTER once again comes to the ring to interrupt Dunne. The Austrian points at the WWE United Kingdom Championship and Pete Dunne nods his head. Rating: F- Chad Gable makes his way to the ringside area and takes a microphone. Gable says that he is not afraid of Brock Lesnar and that is why he is here, to watch Lesnar’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event against Fatsuhiko Nakajima. Rating: E Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. HBK says that he is here to give ring introductions for tonight’s main event when Kassius Ohno rushes to the ring and attacks Shawn Michaels. Just like Ohno assaulted the Rock last week on RAW, Ohno hits HBK with hard elbow strikes. Ohno then picks up the microphone and says that he will keep attacking “legends” until he gets another shot at Bobby Lashley’s Intercontinental Championship. Rating: C- Non-Title: WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar versus Fatsuhiko Nakajima In a match that had some good action and average heat, Brock Lesnar defeated Fatsuhiko Nakajima in 16:01 by submission with a Kimura Lock. Paul Heyman accompanied his client Brock Lesnar to ringside as Lesnar once again won in Monday Night RAW’s main event. Match Rating: C- Post-Show: Brodus Clay versus Danny Burch In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Brodus Clay defeated Danny Burch in 13:16 by pinfall with an Ah Funk It! Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler remained at ringside to watch this match as Jim Ross headed to the back. Kofi Kingston says that last week on SmackDown he was attacked by his former friend, his former partner and his former brother Big E Langston. Kofi Kingston says that he is not sure exactly what Big E Langston and Xavier Woods are planning when they speak about the “New Day” that they are trying to bring to the WWE but Kingston says that he wants no part of it. Kofi Kingston says that he is fully focused on the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View later this month when Kingston will join Big E, Xavier Woods, the WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe and both Jimmy and Jey Uso in an Elimination Chamber match with the winner going on to challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. Kofi Kingston says that he has been in this company for seven years but the WWE Championship is still the only major honour to have eluded him. Koi says that he saw Samoa Joe victorious on Monday Night RAW and is aware of all of the threats in the match, but he will survive and win the Elimination Chamber match. Big E Langston then rushes to the ring and hits Kofi with a Big Ending for the second week in a row. Big E stands over the fallen Kofi whilst beating his chest as we cut to our first commercial break of the evening. Rating: E+ SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka, Kelly Kelly & Von Eerie vs. Madison Eagles, Layla & Maxine In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Asuka, Kelly Kelly and Christina Von Eerie defeated Madison Eagles, Layla and Maxine in 6:21 when Asuka defeated Maxine by pinfall with a Billiken. Kelly Kelly seemed off her game tonight as she teamed with the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka and Christina Von Eerie to take on the trio of Madison Eagles, Layla and Maxine in a six-woman tag team match. The trio of Eagles, Layla and Maxine were able to dominate Kelly at the start of the match until Kelly was able to tag in Asuka who took out all of her opponents single handedly before pinning Maxine to win the match for her team. Match Rating: D Following her victory the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka bows to her partners Kelly Kelly and Christina Von Eerie before Kelly and Christina leave the ring and head to the back to allow Asuka to celebrate in front of the WWE Universe. The winner of the women’s Royal Rumble match, Becky Lynch then rushes to the ring flanked by Paige and Carmella, who attack Asuka before holding her up by her arms. Becky takes a microphone and says that she has already decided that she will challenge for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania but she wants to make history by leaving WrestleMania with both the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships, and has already spoken to Eva Marie to make it official that at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View Becky will challenge Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Rating: E- Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Resurrection (Hardy & Gallows) © versus The Bar In a match that had some good action and average heat, Resurrection defeated The Bar in 15:19 when Matt Hardy defeated Sheamus by pinfall with a Twist of Fate. Antonio Cesaro was really off his game tonight which led to the new WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Luke Gallows focusing their offence on Cesaro for the majority of the match until Cesaro was able to tag in Sheamus only for Sheamus to be pinned by Matt Hardy following the Twist of Fate. Match Rating: C Following their victory Matt Hardy and Luke Gallows celebrate together by raising their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships until the Fandanbanarama pairing of Fandango and Colt Cabana come to the ring. Fandango dances in front of Matt Hardy and signals that he wants a title shot for his team which makes Matt Hardy angry and the two teams get into a brawl which has to be separated by other Superstars as Boone Frye, Angelo Dawkins, Knuckles Madsen, Tyler Breeze and Mojo Rawlings come to the ring to separate the two teams. Rating: D Richie Steamboat versus Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank Kevin Owens In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kevin Owens defeated Richie Steamboat in 7:25 by submission with a Sharpshooter. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that Kevin Owens looked dominant again here tonight. Match Rating: D+ As Kevin Owens celebrates in the ring with his Money in the Bank briefcase a hype video once again plays for the former Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine. Once the video finishes Kevin Owens looks furious for the second week in a row. Rating: E- Erick Rowan versus Goldust In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Erick Rowan defeated Goldust in 6:30 by pinfall with a Greetings from the North. Goldust seemed off his game tonight which led to Erick Rowan getting the win. Match Rating: D Following his victory Erick Rowan celebrates in front of the WWE Universe when he is joined by his Bludgeon Brothers tag team partner Luke Harper. Erick Rowan however looks angry at Luke Harper coming to share the spotlight and the pair get into a brawl with each other. The Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie then comes to the entrance-way and says that if they want to fight then Rowan and Harper will go one on one at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Rating: E Braden Walker versus Xavier Woods In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Xavier Woods defeated Braden Walker in 6:04 by pinfall with a Hammerlock DDT. Bret “The Hitman” Hart accompanied Braden Walker to ringside but it was Xavier Woods who left victorious here. Match Rating: E+ We cut backstage to find the former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso looking into a camera. Jimmy says that the Fandanbanarama pairing of Colt Cabana and Fandango better not forget that once the Elimination Chamber match is done with then the Uso’s will be coming for their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships, whether it is Resurrection or Fandanbanarama who are holding them at that time. Rating: D WWE Intercontinental Championship: Bobby Lashley © versus R-Truth In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Bobby Lashley defeated R-Truth in 16:28 by submission with a Dragon Sleeper. Bobby Lashley makes defence number 2 of his WWE Intercontinental title. R-Truth was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to Lashley winning to retain his title here. Match Rating: D+ Post-Show: Marcus Owens versus Randy Orton In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Randy Orton defeated Marcus Owens in 13:15 by pinfall with an RKO. Bobby Lashley became the new Intercontinental Champion for the very first time last month on Monday Night RAW after winning a Triple Threat match against Kassius Ohno and the former Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose. Lashley then made his first successful title defence a few weeks ago at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View when he beat both Finn Balor and Kassius Ohno in another Triple Threat match. Since then Lashley has come to Friday Night SmackDown after Eva Marie and the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox swapped Bobby Lashley for the United States Champion Samoa Joe. However this past week on Monday Night RAW, Kassius Ohno brutally attacked the Rock and said that he was not done with Lashley yet. Auditorium (CA), 1,000 in Attendance) Pre-Show: Rich Swann versus Primo In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Primo defeated Rich Swann in 17:38 by pinfall with a Backstabber. Unfortunately this match was too long given who was involved as most of the WWE Universe in attendance are no longer interested in seeing Primo compete despite Primo being a former WWE Tag Team Champion with his cousin Epico. The “Fan Favourite” Rich Swann was unable to get the win here as Primo picked up the all-important victory following a Backstabber. Match Rating: D- Pre-Show: Eric Young versus Oliver Grey In an extremely poor match, Eric Young defeated Oliver Grey in 17:48 by pinfall with a Wheelbarrow Neckbreaker. This match was also too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance not really caring too much about either competitor despite Oliver Grey being the tag team partner of the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and Eric Young having appeared on many episodes of 205 Live over the past few months. Nevertheless, Eric Young was victorious here following his signature Wheelbarrow Neckbreaker. Match Rating: E+ Pre-Show: Cedric Alexander versus Kzy In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Cedric Alexander defeated Kzy in 17:44 by pinfall with a Lung Blower. This match was also too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe not caring about Kzy. Match Rating: E Tonight’s edition of 205 Live kicks off with the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander standing in the centre of the ring with a microphone in hand as the 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, former Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman and 205 Live General Manager John “Bradshaw” Layfield welcome the television audience to tonight’s show. The “Fan Favourite” Cedric Alexander receives a decent reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance as he says that he is happy to be here tonight and that he is looking forward to watching his friend TJ Perkins take on the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy in tonight’s non-title main event. Cedric Alexander says that although he was unable to beat Murphy at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View last month to regain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship he is sure that it won’t be long until the “Age of Alexander” returns to 205 Live as Cedric is sure it won’t be long until he beats Murphy to regain the Cruiserweight Championship. Cedric says that he advises his friend TJ Perkins to wear a surgical mask to the ring tonight due to the stench that the “Bum” Buddy Murphy has. Cedric says that Murphy should go back to Australia to take a decent shower and wash his hair but not before Cedric has the opportunity to finally beat Murphy and regain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Cedric says that there have been rumors of JBL bringing new cruiserweights to 205 Live but that Cedric will not allow anyone to jump ahead of him. Cedric then leaves the ring and heads to the back as 205 Live heads to its first commercial break of the evening. Rating: E Chris Jericho versus Kalisto In a match that had some good action and average heat, Chris Jericho defeated Kalisto in 7:38 by pinfall with a Code Breaker. The 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, Billy Kidman and the 205 Live General Manager John “Bradshaw” Layfield all agreed that the “Cheeky Monkey” Chris Jericho looked great here in victory against the masked Kalisto. Stanford and Kidman ask JBL if “Y2J” might be worthy of a future title opportunity and JBL says that if Jericho keeps up with winning matches then he may be due to a WWE Cruiserweight Championship match in the future but that there also new cruiserweights who will also be on their way to 205 Live in the coming weeks. Match Rating: C We cut backstage following a commercial break to find TJ Perkins preparing for tonight’s 205 Live non-title main event against the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy when the Australian Murphy approaches the “Fan Favourite” TJ Perkins. Murphy says that just because TJ Perkins got a fluke victory over Murphy many months ago, TJ shouldn’t get any ideas in his head about thinking he will be victorious tonight against Murphy, who is now the WWE Cruiserweight Champion and the greatest cruiserweight in the world. TJ Perkins says that Murphy is probably tired of hearing it by now, but that Murphy really is a “Bum” and suggests that Murphy take a shower before their match tonight. Murphy responds by smiling and leaving the room in anger as TJ Perkins continues his preparations in peace. Rating: E Jay Briscoe versus Bobby Fish In a match that had some good action and average heat, Bobby Fish defeated Jay Briscoe in 7:50 by pinfall with a Running Single Leg High Knee Strike. Bobby Fish looked impressive here as he got a victory over the “Redneck” Jay Briscoe and as well as saying he has “No Gimmicks Needed”, Bobby Fish really does back up his words in the ring here. Match Rating: D+ We cut backstage to find Eric Young walking down the corridor before he is attacked from behind by Kyle O’Reilly, who throws Eric Young headfirst into a wall. Kyle O’Reilly stands over the fallen Eric Young and said that they have had their problems on NXT but that now they are both in 205 Live and O’Reilly will not let Eric Young to stand in his way of becoming the WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Kyle O’Reilly then walks away from a clearly pained Eric Young as we head to another commercial break. Rating: E+ Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy versus TJ Perkins In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Buddy Murphy defeated TJ Perkins in 13:26 by pinfall with a Murphy's Law. Heyman says that last week on Monday Night RAW Seth Rollins put the nails in his own coffin when the Royal Rumble match winner decided that he will challenge for the Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania. Paul Heyman says that at WrestleMania Brock Lesnar will take Seth Rollins all the way to “Suplex City” and back again and will leave as the undefeated, undisputed Universal Champion. Paul Heyman says that he had a meeting with the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox today who let Heyman know that at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View this month Brock Lesnar will defend the Universal Championship in a Triple Threat match against both Bobby Roode and Chad Gable. Paul Heyman suggests that both Gable and Roode watch what Brock Lesnar will do to that freak Bray Wyatt in tonight’s non-title main event and then that may have second thoughts about stepping into the ring with the “Beast”. Bobby Roode then comes to the ring and snatches the microphone from out of Heyman’s hand. Bobby Roode says that he can’t speak for his partner Chad Gable, but that Roode does not fear the “Beast”. Lesnar and Heyman then laugh and head to the back.</em></p><p> <strong>Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>RAW Women’s Champ Ronda Rousey, Ember Moon & Evie vs. Nia Jaz, Raquel Diaz & Rosa Mendes</strong></p><p> In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Ronda Rousey, Ember Moon and Evie defeated Nia Jax, Raquel Diaz and Rosa Mendes in 5:33 when Ronda Rousey defeated Rosa Mendes by submission with an Armbar. The WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey led the team of Ember Moon and Evie in this six-women tag team match against the trio of Nia Jax, Raquel Diaz and Rosa Mendes in Monday Night RAW’s opening contest. A hot crowd was against Nia Jax, chanting for her not to come back. It seems as though the majority of the WWE Universe have no interest in seeing Nia Jax compete. Rousey makes Rosa Mendes tap out to win the match for her team here.</p><p> <strong>Match Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p> <em>Following her victory Ronda Rousey celebrates in front of the WWE Universe with her RAW Women’s Championship once all of the other women have gone to the back. Kofi Kingston takes a microphone from the ringside area and says that this past Sunday, after six years in this company, he felt that he finally had the chance to win the Royal Rumble match and go on to holding the WWE Championship that has eluded him his entire career, however his dreams were ended at the hands of Big E Langston, somebody that Kofi thought was a friend. Kofi says that it seems that Big E has now chosen to align himself with Xavier Woods and turn their backs on their former friends Kofi and Richie Steamboat. Kofi announces that he has spoken to the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie who has told him that at the Elimination Chamber match Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods, the US Champion Samoa Joe as well as both Jimmy and Jey Uso will compete in an Elimination Chamber match with the winner going on to challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. The WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka led the team of Summer Rae and Rain in this six-woman tag team match against the trio of Paige, Nicole Matthews and Tamina in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown opening contest. Summer Rae was really off her game tonight which led to Paige, Nicole Matthews and Tamina focusing their offence on Summer Rae until Summer was finally able to tag in Asuka who forced Nicole Matthews to submit to win the match for her team.</p><p> <strong>Match Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p> <em>As Asuka celebrates her victory with the teammates and the WWE Universe, we cut to the Titan Tron to see the winner of the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match Becky Lynch, who says that Asuka must be terrified that Becky will choose to challenge for her title at WrestleMania. Cedric Alexander has a microphone in his hand as he says that this past Sunday at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View he feels like he let the entire WWE Universe down as he failed to recapture the WWE Cruiserweight Championship from the Australian “Bum” known as Buddy Murphy. The “Fan Favourite” Alexander receives support from the WWE Universe in attendance as he says that despite Buddy Murphy continuing to smell like a “Bum” and needing a good hair wash, as far as in-ring talent goes, Murphy was the better man this past Sunday. However, Cedric Alexander says that he is determined to continue on his path to recapture the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and let the “Age of Alexander” begin again. As Murphy steps towards Rich Swann, the latter holds his nose and tells Murphy to stay far away because he smells like a total “Bum”. Rich Swann says that he hopes Murphy will shower before their main event non-title match tonight. Buddy Murphy responds by saying that just like his mate Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann can make all the jokes in the world but that won’t mean anything after Buddy Murphy beats Rich Swann tonight and continues to prove that he is the best Cruiserweight competitor on this planet. Fox has been here for longer and Eric Young shouldn’t think that he is going to jump ahead of Fox in the hunt for opportunities. She says that after winning the Royal Rumble match this past Sunday she still hasn’t decided what title she will challenge for at WrestleMania and until she decides she will roam every single brand as and when she sees fit. Becky Lynch says that she has been impressed with many of the 205 Live Superstars including TJ Perkins who she knows well. Ricardo Rodriguez then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone and introduces his client, Adrian Neville, who comes out and is handed the microphone. Neville says that Becky Lynch shouldn’t be interested in losers like JTG but she should be interested in a fellow Brit and the “King of the Cruiserweights” Adrian Neville. Thursday, Week 1, February, 2015 The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live: Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy versus Rich Swann The main event of tonight’s 205 Live was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out from the 205 Live General Manager John “Bradshaw” Layfield and will see the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy in action against Rich Swann in non-title competition. This past Sunday at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View Buddy Murphy defeated Cedric Alexander to make the second successful defence of his WWE Cruiserweight Championship whilst the commentary team noted that the Australian Buddy Murphy is becoming an unstoppable force on the 205 Live brand. Buddy Murphy, despite many of his colleagues and members of the WWE Universe calling him a “Bum” for his hygiene issues, has won every single match he has competed in since becoming the new Cruiserweight Champion four months ago in November of last year when he defeated the former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander on an episode of 205 Live. Since then Murphy has made two successful title defences including beating Alexander again this past Sunday at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View as well as beating both Alexander and the masked Rey Mysterio in a Triple Threat match at the TLC Pay-Per-View back in December. Murphy’s opponent tonight Rich Swann is a Fan Favourite among the WWE Universe and knows that an all-important victory tonight could well lead to a future title opportunity, Chris Jericho versus Bobby Fish After competing in the men’s Royal Rumble match this Sunday, Chris Jericho returns to action on 205 Live tonight as he will take on Bobby Fish for the first time ever. Bobby Fish has claimed that he has “No Gimmick Needed” and has been undefeated since debuting on 205 Live back in December of last year with a victory over Tajiri. Wednesday, Week 1, February, 2015 NXT Day of the Underdog (Live from Central Florida Fairgrounds (FL) 2,000 in Attendance) Camacho versus Boone Sparrow In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Camacho defeated Boone Sparrow in 12:45 by pinfall with a Fall Away Slam. Tonight’s special NXT Day of the Underdog event begins with the NXT General Manager Jim Cornette and his broadcast partner Rikishi introducing the television audience to the show from their positions at ringside. Cornette says that in tonight’s main event NXT Champion Curtis Axel will put his title on the line against Raymond Rowe. Camacho then makes his way to the ring to a decent reaction from the NXT Universe in attendance inside the sold out NXT Arena. Boone Sparrow then enters the ring to little reaction at all. The “Celtic Warrior” Camacho is ultimately able to pick up the all-important victory here after hitting Sparrow with a Fall Away Slam. Match Rating: E Alesteir Black versus Samuel Stewart In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Alesteir Black defeated Samuel Stewart in 7:43 by pinfall with a Black Mass. The Dutchman Alesteir Black is once again dressed all in green looking like an Alien Invader as he takes on Samuel Stewart in our next match. In a rematch from last month’s NXT Downward Spiral event, the result is the same tonight as Alesteir Black hits the Black Mass to pick up the victory over Samuel Stewart for the second week in a row. Match Rating: E- NXT Tag Team Titles: Team Brilliance (Charlotte Flair & Eve Torres) © versus Shayna Baszler & Alicia In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Team Brilliance defeated Shayna Baszler and Alicia in 8:19 when Charlotte Flair defeated Alicia by pinfall with a Natural Selection. Team Brilliance make defence number seven of their NXT Tag Team Championships. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette on commentary says that he is proud to have his tag team division be spear-headed by two talented females in Charlotte Flair and Eve Torres, who have now held the NXT Tag Team Championships for seventeen months since becoming the inaugural Champions all the way back in September of 2013. Match Rating: E+ NXT North American Championship: Ricochet © versus Adam Pearce In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Ricochet defeated Adam Pearce in 8:26 by pinfall with a 450 Splash. Ricochet makes defence number one of his NXT North American Championship. Ricochet put his NXT North Arena Championship on the line for the first time tonight since winning the title from Ezekiel Jackson last month. Ricochet’s opponent tonight was the first ever NXT North American Champion, back when the title was known as the NXT Arena Championship. The “Fan Favourite” Ricochet retained his title her after hitting a 450 Splash much to the delight of the NXT Universe in attendance inside the sold out NXT Arena. Match Rating: D Johnny Gargano versus Ted DiBiase In a match that had some good action and average heat, Ted DiBiase defeated Johnny Gargano in 17:45 by pinfall with a Dream Street. Ted DiBiase tried to act like a “Fan Favourite” in this match but in truth the NXT Universe in attendance inside the sold out NXT Arena were fully behind the “Cocky” Johnny Gargano tonight. NXT General Manager Jim Cornette says on commentary that Gargano needs to pick up the win here after losing to Roderick Strong last month if Gargano wants to keep up his pursuit of the NXT Championship. However, it was Ted DiBiase who won his second match in NXT tonight after his victory over Adam Pearce last month at NXT Downward Spiral. This was the best match of the night. Since then Curtis Axel has made six successful title defences against the likes of Bray Wyatt and Drew McIntyre who can both now be seen competing in front of the WWE Universe on Monday Night RAW. Curtis Axel’s most recent title defence came back in December of last year at NXT Something to Prove when Curtis Axel defeated both Ezekiel Jackson and Kyle O’Reilly in a Triple Threat match. Tonight will be Axel’s first title defence this year after Axel was left off the card at NXT Downward Spiral next month. AJ Lee and Kharma have great chemistry as opponents, and it showed in both of their performances here in this pre-show women’s division match that went the distance. Ultimately AJ Lee picked up the all-important victory after hitting the much larger Kharma with her Shining Wizard finishing maneuvre. Match Rating: D- Pre-Show: Dogs of War (Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre) versus Jack Swagger and Tensai In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Dogs of War defeated Swagger & Tensai in 18:19 when Drew McIntyre defeated Tensai by pinfall with a Zig Zag Claymore Combination. Tensai was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre focusing their offence on Tensai for the majority of the match before Drew McIntyre eventually pinned Tensai to pick up the win for his team following a Zig Zag and Claymore double team maneuvre. Match Rating: C (Mike Rotunda would seriously consider either turning Jack Swagger or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.) Pre-Show: Bray Wyatt versus Dean Ambrose In a match that had some good action and average heat, Dean Ambrose defeated Bray Wyatt in 17:45 by pinfall with a Midnight Special. Bray Wyatt was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to Dean Ambrose getting the win here. Match Rating: C+ We kick off tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW with the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring. Brock Lesnar is alone tonight, without his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn. Brock takes a microphone from the ringside area and says that what he is about to say might shock some members of the WWE Universe but that Brock Lesnar is going to do whatever the hell Brock Lesnar wants to do. Brock Lesnar then introduces his new advocate, returning to his former position, Paul Heyman. The WWE Universe seem shocked as Paul Heyman comes to the ring with a grin on his face and Brock Lesnar hands Heyman the microphone. Paul Heyman says that he and Brock had their problems last year but that Heyman is pleased that Brock Lesnar has chosen Paul Heyman as the man to guide the Universal Champion heading into WrestleMania. Paul Heyman says that after his successful title defence against Andrade Cien Almas last night, the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox has put Brock in tonight’s non-title main event against Jason Jordan. Paul Heyman says that he hopes everybody will watch Brock Lesnar take Jason Jordan to “Suplex City” tonight. The winner of last night’s men’s Royal Rumble match Seth Rollins then comes to the ring and takes a microphone of his own to announce that he has already decided that he will challenge for the Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania. Rating: C RAW Women’s Champ Ronda Rousey, Mia Yim & Raquel Diaz vs. Nia Jax, Rosa Mendes & Sexy Star In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Ronda Rousey, Mia Yim and Raquel Diaz defeated Nia Jax, Rosa Mendes and Sexy Star in 6:07 when Ronda Rousey defeated Sexy Star by submission with an Armbar. The WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey led her team of Mia Yim and Raquel Diaz to victory in this six-woman tag team match against Nia Jax, Rosa Mendes and Sexy Star. A hot crowd in attendance was against Nia Jax, chanting for her to not come back. It would appear that many members of the WWE Universe don’t feel that Nia Jax is ready to be competing on Monday Night RAW. Match Rating: D- (Terry Taylor would seriously consider either turning Raquel Diaz or trying a new gimmick as she has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.) Following the conclusion to the match the WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey celebrates in the ring in front of the WWE Universe as the other women all head to the back. Cheerleader Melissa then comes to the ring with a microphone in hand and says that as she was the runner up in last night’s women’s Royal Rumble match she should be next in line to challenge Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship. Ronda Rousey simply shrugs and heads to the back. Rating: D Non-Title: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival versus International Explosion In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, The Revival defeated International Explosion in 8:26 when Scott Dawson defeated Sami Zayn by submission. Dash Wilder seemed off his game tonight but the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, known to the WWE Universe as “The Revival”, were still able to get the win here against the International Explosion pairing of Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima after Scott Dawson forced Sami Zayn to submit. Match Rating: E+ Following their victory the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival celebrate in the ring until Derrick Bateman comes to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand and says that he and Andrade Cien Almas want to be the next to challenge for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships. Rating: F- As the Revival remain in the ring and think about the challenge laid out by Derrick Bateman on the entrance-way, the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre walk straight past Bateman and head to the ring. Ziggler takes a microphone and tells the Revival that they want to be the next team to challenge for the titles. Rating: D Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley versus Luke Gallows In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Bobby Lashley defeated Luke Gallows in 8:26 by submission with a Dragon Sleeper. Luke Gallows seemed off his game tonight which led to the WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley getting the submission victory here. Match Rating: D+ As Bobby Lashley celebrates his victory in front of the WWE Universe, holding his WWE Intercontinental Championship up high, he is attacked from behind by Kassius Ohno, who knocks Lashley to the mat before hitting Lashley with several elbow strikes to the head before finally heading to the back. Rating: E+ Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Pete Dunne versus Brodus Clay In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Pete Dunne defeated Brodus Clay in 6:38 by pinfall with a Bitter End. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler discuss Dunne’s impressive performance in the men’s Royal Rumble match last night. Match Rating: D As Pete Dunne celebrates his victory in front of the WWE Universe, Wesley Blake makes his way to the ring with a microphone in hand. Wesley Blake says that he wants to be the next one to challenge Pete Dunne for the WWE United Kingdom Championship. Pete Dunne nods before leaving the ring and heading to the back. Rating: F Bobby Roode versus Kane In a match that had some good action and average heat, Bobby Roode defeated Kane in 8:21 by submission with a Fujiwara Armbar. The Monday Night RAW commentary team note that this is a huge victory for Bobby Roode. Match Rating: C- Chad Gable comes to join his partner Bobby Roode in the ring as the pair celebrate Roode’s victory in front of the WWE Universe. Chad Gable takes a microphone from ringside and says that after this victory Bobby Roode should get a shot at Brock Lesnar’s WWE Universal Championship. Roode looks surprised at Gable’s challenge. Rating: E- The Bella Twins, Brie and Nikki Bella, come to the ring to a decent reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance and Brie takes a microphone to say that they were honored to compete in the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match last night. Sasha Banks and Bayley then rush to the ring and attack the Bella Twins and a brawl breaks out between the two teams. Rating: E- As officials try to control the brawl in the ring between the Bella Twins and Sasha Banks and Bayley, the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox comes to the entrance-way with a microphone and says that he has an announcement to make. Brock Lesnar’s in-ring mentor Billy Gunn will likely be by his side tonight as Brock Lesnar take on Jason Jordan, a “Legitimate Athlete” who is also a good friend of Seth Rollins, who won last night’s men’s Royal Rumble match. It is believed that Seth Rollins will tonight announce what Championship he will challenge for in the main event of WrestleMania. Jason Jordan’s last match on Monday Night RAW came last month in a loss against Dean Ambrose and an all-important victory for Jordan tonight could well led to a future title opportunity down the line. Kaitlyn managed to record both the most eliminations and the longest survival time. Two former Divas Champions in Kaitlyn and Layla started off this match and the two women from Friday Night SmackDown went straight at it in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match. Monday Night RAW’s Rosa Mendes was the third entrant and the WWE Universe cheered as Kaitlyn quickly eliminated Rosa Mendes. Eliminations occurred thick and fast throughout the match and the final five were Cheerleader Melissa, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Kaitlyn and Becky Lynch, who entered as entrant number thirteen. Kaitlyn eliminated Brie Bella as Kaitlyn recorded the most eliminations as well as lasting for the longest time after entering the match as participant number one. Nikki Bella then eliminated Kaitlyn only for Becky Lynch to throw Nikki over the top rope shortly after. Samoa Joe makes defence number 1 of his WWE United States title. Friday Night SmackDown’s Kofi Kingston was the fourth entrant and survived the longest. At one point, Kofi Kingston and his tag team partner from Friday Night SmackDown Big E Langston were in the ring along with their friends Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat. Big E and Xavier nodded at each other before both turning on their partners with Big E sending Kofi Kingston out of the ring and Xavier Woods eliminating Steamboat. Big E and Xavier then worked together for the rest of the match until they were eliminated by the SmackDown Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso. Seth Rollins entered as number fifteen and made it to the final four with Jimmy, Jey and Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank Kevin Owens.
