  1. I have reached the level of World domination. I made over $70 Million last month, my Merchandise sales are twice as much as my roster's bill. Merchandise pays for everyone's contract and then some.

Aaron Andrews last month sold $2.6 million in Merchandise, and I got $1.3 million of that. His contract is only $400,000 per month. My total Worker cost was $8.7 Million and my total Merch sales were $17 Million.

I made ten times what USPW made last month.

I am in the process of stealing Scythe and Remo from SWF. Why? Because I can. Do I have plans for them? Nope. I offered Remo $1 Million per month because that's chump change. I offered Scythe half a Million per month because why not?

I think I have become what I hate -- A mindless corporation hellbent on world domination. Time to hoard all the relevant talent.

Might be time for a Brand split? I have over 70 workers on my roster and 80 in developmental. What am I even doing?

I am currently in September 2024.

Sam Keith is still running MAW. But I have him on a non-exclusive Written Contract, primarily because I wanted him for a storyline with Greg Gauge. Might as well keep him around as a Road Agent? I do seem a bit lacking in "Major" Stars, so Scythe and Remo will actually be nice additions.

Any name on the list you don't recognise is probably just a generated wrestler from my Performance Center or another dojo.

There are definitely a lot of wrestlers on my roster who's contracts I probably won't renew. I'll cycle them out and replace them with people I have in developmental. Especially some of the older workers who aren't at the top of the card.

KC Glenn came in with practically no popularity in Canada, so he's a work in progress. I've had him align himself with the Stones (and McFlys) to get some exposure quicker. I have a "House Of Stone" stable. I was thinking of hiring some of the actual recently generated House of Stone dojo trainees and having them as extras. In Kayfabe the stable is kind of like an MMA Team, they're training buddies, so it'd make sense to get some of Dan Stone Jr's students some International exposure for the fun of it! Bring in two at a time for a short stint. They can appear in angles with the main crew on my 'A' Show and then job on my 'B' Show. I'm sure exposure on my Enormous worldwide coverage network will help them land some more permanent jobs.

  2. I am now in November 2023 in my Create-a-Company save. My company is now 93 Popularity in Ontario (My Home Region) and an average of 86 Popularity throughout the rest of Canada.

To replace Jack Bruce as Authority Figure after I convinced him to come out of retirement, I have brought in Bruce The Giant. Because why not have a massive giant bossing people around?

I have introduced a Women's Division specifically because I wanted to sign and push Lucy Stone-McFly.

I have just stolen Shooter Sean Deeley from the CWA and he JUST won their World Championship in October. Guess I messed up their plans. My initial plan for him is to come in and feud with Skip Beau for the Xtreme Championship with the intention of winning the title and petitioning to rebrand it as a "Pure Wrestling" Championship instead. Shooter Sean Deeley will probably form his own faction of like minded wrestling "purists" and ironically win the Xtreme Championship in the most brutal fashion. Like, maybe he uses a cinderblock to win.

For my World Championship, Ernest Youngman and Lawrence Luger went to a draw in a No.1 Contender's match, so it'll be a Triple Threat at the next event. Then in December at my Season finale, I'll probably do a 1v1 between Cornell and Youngman. I'm not sure if I'm ready for Cornell to drop the title yet, but we'll see. I am extremely happy with Lawrence Luger's development. He was generated by my performance center, is only 22 years old, Technical Striker with 98 Menace, and in his 1v1 with Ernest Youngman got a 95 rated match with a personal rating of 84. Duane Stone also took him under his wing as a protege. He has a respectable 81 Star Quality also.

  3. Playing created company in the Cornellverse, I am currently Medium sized (45-77 Popularity throughout Canada) and based in Ontario and in the July 2022

WWA World Champion - Davis Wayne Newton (86 Day Reign, 5 Defenses)

WWA Network Champion - Ernest Youngman (2 Day Reign, 0 Defenses)

WWA Tag Team Champions - David Stone & Edd Stone (30 Day Reign, 2 Defenses)

WWA Xtreme Champion - James Diaz (114 Day Reign, 6 Defenses)

The World title is of course Primary, the Network is Secondary and my Tag Titles and Xtreme Title are Floating. The World title is about earning a shot and being the best wrestler and the Xtreme title is about being gutsy enough to step up and battle it out no rules, no excuses. Anyone can challenge and anyone can win the Xtreme title regardless of their card position, the only rule for the Xtreme title is that the Champion can't backdown from challengers. Not a 24/7 Type rule, but more of a name the time and place and we'll go at it.

The Network title has been good for getting people up to Star+ perception over the course of their reign.

I am now in July 2023.

WWA World Champion - Tommy Cornell (207 Day Reign, 9 Defenses)

WWA Network Champion - David Stone (59 Day Reign, 4 Defenses)

WWA Tag Team Champions - Viktor Beskov & Yuri Iliakov (115 Day Reign, 6 Defenses)

WWA Xtreme Champion - Jay Silver (49 Day Reign, 2 Defenses)

I'm going to be introducing a Women's Division in the next few months, I have 16 Women in Developmental right now, including Amber Allen, Christy Higgins, Fuyuko Higa and Lucy Stone-McFly, so I think I got a solid foundation. Fuyuko has been helping train up my rookie girls pretty well.

  4. Glad to see nothing has changed since TEW 2010 and Dan Stone is still the best wrestler in the world well into his 50s. God, I hated NOTBPW!

As a side note does Once In A Lifetime yield results? Even after all these years I've never actually used it - I assumed it was broken like Epic and Spectacle

I'm not sure myself, only used it once or twice and never noticed anything spectacular. I'm currently having Cornell go on a lengthy run with the title before facing Dan.

  5. Turns out I am a pretty massive carny as a promoter.

The year is now 2023, and David Stone and Edd Stone have been a Tag Team for my user created company for about a year now, they're also in a stable with Kid Fantastic as "The Party Animals", Edd Stone is like that mid 30s guy who thinks he's cool hanging out with 20 year olds. All is going well, then I had an idea.

You see I had signed Jack Bruce to be my General Manager, but when his contract was running out I had the idea to see if he'd be up for another run and to my surprise he agreed.

So my idea was to see if Dan Stone Jr would do the same. And yes, he agreed. The year is 2023 and he's coming out of retirement for my Medium sized Canadian company after being retired since 2015.

Here is where things get carny. I decided to use Edd Stone and Dan Stone Jr's real-life blood feud relationship as the basis for Dan Stone Jr's in-ring return.

I decided that Dan Stone Jr was sitting at home watching his ungrateful brother team with his son. Enough was enough and he couldn't have Edd corrupting poor David anymore.

This led to a storyline where Dan Stone Jr was coming back for one purpose, to put his younger brother Edd in his place and save David.

David Stone had also won the match of career to become the Number One Contender for the World Championship. So of course his Dad had to come bring family drama around right before he goes against Tommy Freakin' Cornell for the World title.

So we had David Stone and to a lesser extent Kid Fantastic dragged into Stone family drama. Kid Fantastic just noped out of the entire thing and David was stuck between choosing between his fun Uncle and his stick-in-the-mud Dad at the same time as preparing to take on Tommy Cornell.

This led to Dan Stone Jr beating Edd Stone at the PPV and David Stone failing to win the title against Tommy Cornell.

Dan Stone Jr fulfilled his mission, but... having that match... scratched an itch he didn't know he had. So now Dan Stone Jr has another goal in mind.

To see if he still has what it takes to win one more Championship.

Once in a Lifetime Dan Stone Jr. vs Tommy Cornell is the eventual end goal.

    --

Dan Stone Jr also can still go, his match rated 91 and he had a better personal performance than Edd Stone. If his stamina doesn't decline between now and his match with Cornell I can see them going 30+ minutes. I just pray they don't end up with negative chemistry lmao

If you want to know how the heck a medium sized Canadian company signed Tommy Cornell -- well he had a prostitute scandal and was toxic, when the toxicity ended he signed with me cause his popularity took a hit and the other companies were only offering him like 20k a month, he was happy to take my $106k per month. A lot of things have gone perfectly right to get this scenario going.

So there you have it, I have Jack Bruce, Dan Stone Jr and Tommy Cornell tearing it up in my company in 2023.

  6. Tommy Cornell just defeated Davis Wayne Newton for my World Championship in a 98 rated 45 minute banger. Next step is a Once In a Lifetime Match between Cornell and Jack Bruce for my World Championship at my Season Finale on the last night of 2022 to lead us into 2023.

Davis Wayne Newton held his own too, Tommy had a personal rating of 95 and Davis had a personal rating of 94.

I'm still shocked I managed to convince Jack Bruce to come out of retirement. But I want to do the match before either of them get injured.

The Network title has been good for getting people up to Star+ perception over the course of their reign.

  8. James Diaz specifically shot up the roster fast than expected because Sayeed Ali wanted to put him over. Speaking of promises, Dangermouth was essentially a jobber that could put on good Entertainment angles. Then Brandon James, Troy Tornado and Lee Rivera promised to put him over, and here we are. Works out fine because I use a No-Style Style, so Popular and/or Good Workers are both good assets due to 30:70 or 70:30 Performance:Popularity ratio, using whatever gives the best rating.

Overall they're coming along nicely. Yuta Isono is a Show Stopper, James Diaz is a Ring General and Prime Time is a Next Big Thing in my Creative screen. Coincidentally the three of them are in a Stable together, managed by Joanne Rodriguez.

I hired Jack Bruce as a personality to act as my General Manager. I randomly tried to talk him into coming out of retirement... and it actually worked.

Tommy Cornell vs Jack Bruce going to happen in my Medium sized Canadian company, LOL

  9. I am in July 2022 in my custom company in a Cornellverse save. I am Medium Sized and based in Ontario Canada. I have a Developmental company based in BC and my own Network.

My roster is pretty decent I believe. Right now my developmental is basically full of people generated over the last 2 years by my Performance Center and then a handful of 100 experience vets.

    -----

You may wonder how I managed to snag Tommy Cornell, well he jumped ship to USPW and then proceeded to get caught with prostitutes, so I managed to hire him immediately after his toxicity ran out.

I am probably going to go on a hiring spree of some more indy talents to add some more variety to my developmental. My guys seem to be gaining experience pretty darn slow. I would also like to bring in some young indy guys right to the main roster so they can work with guys on their way down like Brandon James and Jungle Lord while I have the chance. Most of my Performance Center graduates aren't particularly good.

Right now Tommy Cornell is going to go on a winning streak against younger talent while he works off his ring rust, since he hasn't work in a year after his scandal.

  10. How big of a hit do you take hiring a toxic worker? How long does toxicity last? I am wondering because I am playing as a Medium sized company and Tommy Cornell was caught in a Scandal and immediately fired from USPW who had just recently hired him....

This happened a year ago in-game.

EDIT: His toxicity expired. Hired him and now I got Tommy Freakin' Cornell on my Medium sized Canadian company's roster. The question about how bad hiring a toxic worker is still stands, though.

  11. I am currently playing a Small-ish Canadian company in the C-Verse. I have two questions....

Currently I have a Main Title, Secondary Title and Tag Titles. I am looking to make a sort of "gimmick" title that could be a floating level title that has rules and style that are more than just "Hardcore" or "High Flying" any ideas? My product is No-Style Style so nothing is off limits.

Secondly, I was looking to form a sort of Cult-Like Stable, with Supernatural Elements. I'm not too familiar with the 2020 C-Verse to know which wrestlers on the indy level I could bring to form such a group.

  12. I dont like big tournaments to determine titles. Too many losers. Who challenges for the belt afterwards? Which loser? Unless you do a lot of screwy finishes and sports entertainment nonsense theres no one left to beat.

I'd do one small tournament (4-8) and a Battle Royal for any second title. Get it on someone, then save the big fights for title defenses.

That's not always true in a round robin tournament. You can have the eventual tournament winner lose a few matches to set up the initial title challengers. Kind of like how the winner of the G1 defends the WK spot to people he lost to in the tournament.

I much prefer Round Robin tournaments over straight single elimination tournaments.

  13. You could have a company-wide round robin tournament to crown the first main level title.

You could then wait a few months to introduce the secondary title. Let the only title be the main title for awhile to make it feel more important and not flood your company with a bunch of titles all at once.

The secondary championship could be crowned in a single elimination tournament 6+ months after you crown your main champion.

  14. I mean, Gil Thomas's bio specifically says he's pumping money into the fed, so I'm less bothered about that. It's just bizarre that in a month I've made $1.4 million dollars in PPV revenue. (Yay constant schedule!)

So you're running a bunch of PPV events per month and not seeing a decline in buys?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought PPV buys tanked if you did too many in too short of a time in 2016?

  15. <p>I got to a point in my last TEW 2016 save where I was surprised when a match wasn't rated as a 90 or higher. I mean every match that wasn't a throwaway squash. Two midcarders over my TV title? Would regularly get 99s.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm sure my fans were spoiled and claimed the Main Event that got a 93 that one time was "the worst match they have ever seen."</p><p> </p><p>

TEW 2020 looks like it might be more difficult to get to that point, if it's even feasible anymore, which is more realistic than having every match on your weekly TV Show be a 5 star classic. When everything is a 5 star match, then is anything truly 5 stars?</p>

  16. <p>I think a big part of the problem is you can convince people to work in other areas too easily. Whether they accept or reject you should take into account your user character's booker reputation AND the size of the company you currently work for. It could even go a step further and take into account any coverage your company has from broadcasting deals, as the exposure might be worth the risk for them in the short term if they can increase their value by becoming popular in more areas quickly. </p><p> </p><p>

It's kind of weird that I as an unknown booker, working for a company with just 10 or so popularity in BC, Canada (plus any associated spillover) and nowhere else could convince someone living in Japan to be open to working in Canada and agreeing to work for me for $30 an appearance.</p><p> </p><p>

Now, if I was a bigger regional promotion with at least an internet TV Deal, they should be more willing to listen to my request, because if they're unemployed in Japan, maybe trying their luck in Canada and getting on TV might be worth the risk for them?</p><p> </p><p>

But it's possible that reworking all this might require more balancing in the finances of smaller companies, where this is more relevant. Increased workers costs would mean revenue would need to be looked at.</p>
