So...slight spoiler I guess...but I am currently working my way through the expansion and converting it over to a 2026 version of this mod.

So if Azzak had a promotion formed in say October 2017, in this mod they will have them forming in October 2023. Might be a bit odd for people who play the expansion if they then played a 2026 version of this mod and saw people the same age however it was the best way I could think of to have it work.

I felt this was the best way of fitting his great work into this mod as a lot of what he did doesn't really fit into the 2022 world of this mod. For example, this 2022 mod has one Australian women's promotion that is based around being the only women's company in the region...so squeezing in a second one would require a lot of re-writing. BOW in Britain too, for the way 2022 has Britain set up it doesn't make sense to suddenly try to fit in a medium company in the region, but putting them both in 2026 works as I can look at those regions with those promotions in mind.

    Oh, looking forward to it!

Just curious tho, any estimate on release for this?

Cheers guys, how odd. Deleted one of them now

So just so people know what might be coming, I am planning a version 1.02 soon, although there have been very few errors reported to me, and the one's that have have only been spelling mistakes so nothing game breaking.

The next version will be mainly for a huge variety of future companies being added. Since releasing 1.01 I have created 158 new promotions, so that there is a bigger variety on games. This includes every single region of the game having at least two promotions that could open, although nearly all have at least three, and South London for example has nine male companies. I have tried to make it so the bigger the region the more potential companies that could open there, that way you won't see a tiny area like Tasmania having a load of promotions, but you may see Tri-State or South West having a whole host of companies.

Like I say, that is for added variety - meaning companies that open will be in different regions, have different styles, different sizes, different size women's divisions, if a division at all., hopefully making each saved game a bit more unique.

Speaking of women's wrestling, 43 of those 158 companies are women's companies too, with Japan for example having 13 potential joshi companies to open, of different sizes and products. I am just adding a few more from the "complete company sets" folder and then that will be done.

There may be other updates one day, especially if someone does find something big, but it doesn't sound like it is really needed.

Actually I don't know if you consider this a bug, but when I simulated a few years in the future some of ZEN companies finished their broadcasting deals with their own network (!) and starts drastically losing popularity in all areas except where the promotion is based from. Perhaps all ZEN companies need to be set as property of ZEN Network, since it wouldn't make sense that you lost a deal with your own broadcaster.

  3. While im in the area of the topic of puro animal roundels, an error i think i caused a long while back that weighs heavily on my conscious:

GCG's origin animal was (i believe) a tiger and not a lion.

BCG's origin animal was a lion.

I think my intention being that youd have Tigers v Lions, but then someone asked hey can you do a quick relabelling of that design for GCG (because BCG was just a request and not an official company in the gameworld at that point) and then several years later i totally forgot GCG was meant to be a tiger and went ahead and did another lion design and that compounded the issue.

    I'm sorry GCG.

Totally understandable you mixed the two companies up, they have similar names.

  4. Ah sorry miscommunication, Setanta was never a good fit for ESN since they're meant to be a Big european network primarily and only Small UK secondarily. Dont think Premier Sports of Freesports run in Europe in that way?

The closest i can figure is Eleven Sports?

Eleven Sports could be a feasible choice, although honestly I have no idea

  5. To clarify i did those logos a loong while back which is why i say dont try to figure it out from the design - however yeah, Euro Cable Sports is def Eurosport.

ESN's design was based on Setanta Sports (dont think FreeSports existed then) but that was very much a wild shot in the dark at the time, didnt realy fit then, and they're now defunct globally anyway.

As for the replacement to Setanta logo, I would suggest Premier Sports or FreeSports since they were launched by the same part owner as Setanta.

  6. Hey guys!

I'm looking for someone to do an alliance logo for me.

The idea I have is a big alliance where multiple companies from around the world battling out for a world title, it's called 'World Organization of Wrestling'.

Would love a logo that contains 'WOW' as abbreviation with the 'O' replaced with big oval earth that shows the whole continents to represent the alliance as some kind of world federation and full alliance name below the logo. Creative freedom for the colors.

    Thank you.

  7. We didn't upload it, but I'm guessing this is the one you are after?

I've not downloaded it, so I don't know if it works, but if not I can probably dig the file out and get MHero to reupload it somewhere.

Obviously you'll need to add them in manually to the mod, in which case I'd suggest making a copy of the database once you've done it or you'll need to do it manually each time you install an update. At least if you've got a copy you'll only need to remember to import them.

Doesn't work, when I download it, it shows up as a generic "file" rather than a folder.

Same happened to me. Not something we can control unfortunately. Presumably someone somewhere has them, if not then oh well.

It does work, but you have to add .rar to the file name

Make sure to activate "Show file extensions" first on File Explorer
