after you’ve created an amazing amount of history 30 plus years into the game it sucks having to quit only because of slow speeds. I really hope they make 6 and focus solely on making long term play more enjoyable by maintaining speeds.

so if the regions were changed to countries and the rest deleted I wonder if that would work long term. Seems unusual that it's tied to that - i'd think it's more the number of fighters being the factor

my pc is fast too - it's a limitation of the game, not hardware. Waiting long periods of time when selecting names in the booking screen is the reality. As Flamesnoopy mentions, it does become completely unplayable. It's really unfortunate too because that's when the game becomes alot of fun when you've created the history, witnessed/influenced it all, and want to continue building the world along with shaping the future fighters.

Agree fully other than I find I spend too much time waiting for the game to simulate. I’m in 2024 with over 20 years and it’s slows to a crawl even booking the fights it’s slow to load. That’s the only thing really killing it for me. Really wish the performance was better long term.

yeah most tend to be later in age as you mentioned. Would be nice for it to be adjustable, but I don't see that happening.

If there was a WMMA 6 announced that would be such a happy day for me. Improved sim speeds alone would be incredible. I'm glad they still support this game, but I wish they would continue to build off it. Once the creators passion is gone, this project tends to die.

no, there isn't - wish they added those type of options in the game as that's a great idea. All you can do is filter fighters by momentum and cut them one at a time in the fight cutter screen

no critical errors found in the datebase, however when the game world is being created it does indicate: "An unexpected error has occurred ('Not a valid bookmark'), the game must be closed" any idea why this is happening?

why is that? There's so much more that can be done with the game especially with speed, although i'm guessing it would need a complete recode. Guess there just wasn't enough sales to warrant a new one or Grey Dog Software's passion for the sport/game is gone. There's no other game out there like this so it's sad to hear, not surprised. I'm glad it's still being supported by the occasional patch...I bought a new $1000 graphics card a while back only to continue to play this game for hours on end haha

I just wish they found a way to make the simulation to next events much more time efficient. 95% of the game for me is waiting for the next event to arrive. While I greatly enjoy the game when I get to the fight cards, it's really hard to justify throwing my time away just waiting. That's really the reason I would hope we see a WMMA6.

No, It was difficult to find for me originally also. Tech support is typically not the location we think of for general patches. I agree stickied in the main general discussions would make it alot easier for any newcomers

- Matchmaker Assistant Addition: Auto match opponent. Would be nice where you could select a fighter and click a button for the game to auto book them in a show. Would also like to see auto match show where the AI takes on the match making. Sometimes I like doing the main show or main events and wouldn't mind letting the AI take on the tedious job of prelims the odd time. It can start feeling like a chore when your company becomes quite large. - Option to have calendar be week to week for quicker sims. Major infrastructure change this would be so maybe something for WMMA6. The time I end up waiting until my next show is really the biggest knock I have against this game. The match ups and watching shows play out is great but so much time wasted waiting to sim to the next show. - Add ranking next to fighters name in the Match Making screen - In the fight screen, add ranking next to their name or somewhere on the screen. currently the user has to keep clicking the players photo to view the profile at this point to see it.
