Hey Guys,
My Child Company - Beyond in New England - Spends a ton of money on production values. I am not entirely sure how to make them stop doing this. Is there a setting where I can click to make them request updating their production values or not do it altogether? If this is not a setting is it a matter of selecting a better venue or location for them to be in so they aren't attempting to compete with the WWE in that region?

Buying out other companies.
Okay, i literally have no idea what to do. It appears to me that it just does not happen but I am desperate in my favorite save to get a CHILD ORG.
I have one company at -267,000 and they dont believe they need to sell. This has been this way for a year. They are 17th in all the MMA land. There are a few other companies that just wont give in.
What am i doing wrong? How do you buy out these companies? Thanks guys and happy 4th.

I believe he said that WMMA 5 would be the last one moving forward. It's perfectly fine as it is to be honest, I can't think of anything that could be done that wouldn't be just cosmetic. I do wish there was a boxing equivalent to this game though. That would be a lot of fun, especially considering how boxing is starting to have a small resurgence.

Is there a way I can bulk sign free agents modifying a spreadsheet instead of having to click through hundreds of fighters?

Sometimes when simulating the days you miss the email regarding a fighter being "On the Market". For those who don't know, this means you can now negotiate with a martial artist and try to convince them to join your company for usually a better salary.
I propose a new tab where players can directly see who is on the market every few days.
Of course you can shortlist certain fighters and with important emails stopping your simulation you would automatically see who is on the market but that can often be tedious as well. Even when starting out when a player can not sign such high hyped individuals , it would be interesting to see who is trying to sign a certain fighter.
This is likely to be a lot of work and coding for a game that is already so good. However, if there is ever a dream for a WMMA6 I would like to push this forward.

EDITED: I did not realize we were not supposed to put a, +1 type of comment, so I would like to write something a little more useful.
I really enjoy the idea of creating a small development organization regionally that would help grow your roster, especially with so much money in the game that one can make after a few years it would really be nice to build talent in different regions. I would also like to add in the idea of not being limited to creating only one company.
I also like the idea mentioned below regarding buying profitable MMA companies. I imagine that a financial five year forecast could estimate the value of the company to be sold alongside its p4p kings and queens NET worth and even weighing any competition factors. Personally, I would love to buy out KOTC or LFA and make a home for upcoming fighters and fighters on their way out.
I am strangely into business wars and business deals so this right up my alley on things i would love to see implemented.

Cobra Kai FC had opened in June of 2008. Within its first year it took the title of, Promotion of the year. The UFC was outraged and the voting community as this low level regional mma promotional company took center stage. Finding former UFC, Strikeforce, EliteXC stars get cut from their contracts, was how Cobra Kai was able to get casual fans in attendance for the low level company. Fans tuned into to see Kevin Randleman, Ken Shamrock, and Mark Coleman all return to the cage for just one more fight. Ben Rothwell, a top 25 p4p fighter actually agreed to sign over to the small time Cobra Kai when only a week later he shockingly knocked out the pound for pound king, Fedor Emilianko after being rocked heavily in the first, Ben found himself in the top ten shortly after. The roster saw CKFC rise to around 200+ martial artists seeking only competition as no belt has ever been on the line.
Early February 2008 came and a new MMA company with major financial backers came into play. They had started engulfing Cobra Kai FCs Roster. Losing out on Randleman and a few others was almost a tipping point of surrender for the company as they felt they almost had to begin from scratch. The towel was in hand ready to be thrown until both Rothwell and Randlemans last fights with Cobra Kai FC saw them suffer brutal knockout losses on the Co-Main and Main event fights. The two heavyweights who were on winning streaks had just lost and welcomed two new heavyweights into Cobra Kais spotlight as they exited into Dream. With that, Cobra Kai shouted "NEVER DIE!"
In June of 2009 we have witnessed Cobra Kai rise from 11th mma company to 6th and have signed a load of fresh faces. Hosting a variety of one night tournaments as they did when the company first began, Cobra Kai saw some future stars emerge in the middleweight and lightweight division. Seeing as one of the future stars was now 4-0 and quickly hyped up he was pitted against the former rookie of the year who was 3-0 in a match that was over within in minutes. Davis Jr. hit 4-0 and the local hero was then entered into an undefeated tournament with other middleweight fighters at a 5-0 record. With two submission victories and one knockout he sits at 7-0 awaiting his bitter rival Ed Herman a martial artist who had accepted Davis call out on December 30th: Blackout!
With two shows remaining in the year, Cobra Kai had reached the #3 ranked promotion in the world. With their future star, Davis Jr. being highly hyped and carefully matched up with they are expecting to win the Promotion of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Event of the year and enter into the realm of Low Level National.
Finally being considered an actual threat to the future of their business, UFC and Dream have kept a tight leash on their rosters having fighters agree to 10 years with several fights on exclusive contracts, but every now and then a star falls from the heavens and Cobra Kai tends to make deals that just cant be denied.

Perhaps a dumb question. The C-Verse is intended to go where? In the original game or is there a specific database. I ask because i noticed there were no Organizations or other things like that. Thanks for all your hard work! I cant wait to import these guys.

Hey, which mod do you recommend which takes place between 1993-2000? Which is the most polished?
The Dawn of MMA Mod's rankings are a bit quirky and not correct. I am about to download the Vale Tudo to MMA mod. Hopefully that will be good.

BLURCAT INTERVIEWS OWNERS
Imagine a scenario similar to Dana White interviews where a Journalist from Blurcat gets the chance to sit down with you the owner. They ask you around five questions regarding the upcoming or recent event.
The responses can create a wide response from the mma world you dabble in:
-Hype to fighters
-Hype to company
-Fighter comes out of retirement
-CEO quits and starts their own company
-Fighter A disagrees with your comments and challenges Fighter B.
-TV ratings soar
- and more...
I think this would add a deeper level of personal connection to each game and a certain realism that we see in the mma world. I also feel that players should have the ability to skip interviews with no consequence to themselves, fighters, and company. I think the responses to the questions do not always have to hold drastic measures.
Finally, the way I think it would play out is if each OWNER interviewed either prior to or after an event was asked several questions. They have multiple responses they can make after each question. After they have answered the effects of that interview would be seen within the following week as the player simulates through the days.

Maybe the creator forgot to delete the rankings? I'm using my own version and it runs fine. You can easily make your own by just deleting everything.
I am sorry Blackman, I am so new to this kind of video gaming. What do you mean by deleting everything and creating your own? The mod is actually pretty great and i really look forward to playing it but my only confusion is why the rankings do not update.
I did try going into mass edit and changing all the rankings of the fighters from inactive to 1 but then the game got upset with me and said, "HEY none of these guys fought yet but they have a ranking."

Dawn of MMA Rankings Problem
Hi,
I am using the Dawn of MMA Mod. I can not seem to figure out how to get the rankings to work. I am in year 3 of my career and the rankings are quite inaccurate. For example, The champion is not listed in the rankings and is on a 12 fight win streak. Anyway, if anyone can help I would be so appreciative.

My child companies are not increasing in popularity. It has been 3 in game months and they aren’t growing In popularity in any region. Their events are higher than the popularity in each region as well.
originally I took them over to watch them slowly climb the popularity in the wrestling world and reap the benefits of being a parent company. Because they aren’t growing their popularity I am left wondering, do child companies increase in size at all?
any help is always greatly appreciated
