2. They're still running shows in December (at least Final Battle) and are going dark in January so this might be the last time they're in this mod for the foreseeable future. I don't see any reason why Quest would close them early, although I wish you could set them to close at the end of the year for realism's sake.

Could do a "financial crash" narrative. May force the issue.

  3.
Mercedes Martinez, in my game, started dating some dude.

Zoe Lucas has only wrestled as a heel, as far as I know, for the last 3 years. Yet she's listed as better as a face.

  4. On the topic of announcer stats, I just watched the Matt Cardona vs Nick Gage match from GCW Homecoming and whoever their announce team was for the show was one of the worst I have ever heard in my life. It's the first GCW match I've ever watched in its entirety so not sure if they're the regular commentators or what, but they were awful.

on that front, Veda Scott is awesome on Colour. Allysin Kay is a legit good play by play.

Brittani Nikole is really good too and should be in the game. Does Mission Pro among other places.

Holidead is a decent colour commentator.

  5. Ahh fair enough, I wasn't even aware of the highlights deals. I'll give them (and their workers) a wee bit of a pop boost across Japan to make up for that extra exposure. East Meets West looks fairly close to the product they've already got but with a few more angles and added storylines so I'll test that out as well.

Awesome! The show that airs in Japan is on their youtube channel too, so it is watchable here.

  6. They already have a TV deal set with Samurai TV and already have a product set that places value on gimmicks without neutering the in-ring side of things which has always been a bigger deal, so I'm not quite sure what work you'd suggest there. I've increased their pop a little bit but 3k is pushing it, they've only done that for one huge show and the rest they've drawn a little over 1k which is roughly where they've been at in game.

Samurai TV is for their monthly events, that is not there TV deal.

From the article (and the TV part is still true) when Bushiroad bought them:

"Bushiroad's role will be attempting through advertising and television to build the popularity of the brand, similar to how the resurgence of New Japan Pro Wrestling was built.

As part of the deal, a TV show will air on BS NTV and Tokyo MX starting in January, with the BS NTV show being a 30 minute show on Thursdays."

It's TV highlights atleast, since it's not a separate taping.

Stardom World doubled in subscribers the last month and now are set to make a million dollars this year.

The style should be changed too. They are not a work rate promotion, they would be more East and West, but they have angles every show and lots and and lots of promos.

For size, yeah 1 to 1.2 k is what they are getting now, but it's still pandemic, so that may be misleading. Like fans aren't even allowed to yell or chant, so that is tricky, but yeah pop may be okay then.

  7. After I completed my Evolution mod, I teased this, then got so busy with other projects (outside TEW) that I have done nothing.

I think I'm ready to hype this up.

Dream Slam is in the vein of "War of the Immortals". It's a mod that has, essentially, every women's wrestler in history in it. Promotions long gone (JWP and AJW) and wrestlers time shifted to make sense to the proper time.

So, for example, WWE will not just be current WWE but with only women like the Evolution mod. It will be an all time great roster for everyone in WWE history of women. Your main event scene will be something like Trish from 05 and Charlotte from today, among others. I want each company to be balanced, so it will not just be 40 main eventers in WWE, but a balanced roster.

If someone doesn't fit into the mod, they will be set as a rookie just debuting. Someone like Becky Lynch, might be here 18 year old self carving up SHIMMER, or some other period for her. That will have to be decided.

Since the Evolution mod is set in 2019, most of the work has been done. Wrestlers will just be time shifted from there and since 2019 is such a peak, a lot will not have to be changed.

Pictures are my main concern, I will use SAMP and nGo as a base to help, but I'll have to do a lot of cutting for finding the time appropriate pics.

I'm starting to work now, deciding the promotions and such. I'll update when I can update :)
