  2. Hey KyTeran, Thanks for the predictions and the comments. Glad you're enjoying the Jack Jackson run. He is definitely, as I think I've said before, one of the wrestlers that I am having the most fun writing for. Hey Charasmatic Enigma, Thanks for the predictions and comments! Rajah actually isn't a new signing. He begins the game with USPW as a member of The Business. I ended that stable right before Stars, Stripes And Slams and Rajah hasn't really done anything since then. So I can definitely understand why you might think he's a new signing. Hey Temes1066, Thanks for the predictions and comments! Honestly, in most of my diaries, I choose a wrestler that I don't think has gotten a huge push by diary writers or just in the game in general and try to push him to the moon. Jackson has definitely been one of those moments.

  4. Monday Week 2 November 1995 WCW Monday Nitro Location: Manley Field House (Tri State) Attendance: 10,000 Overall Rating: 87 TV Rating: 2.18 Great Britain Made WCW Monday Nitro comes to you live from the Manley Field House in Syracuse, New York. Mike Tenay, Bobby Heenan and Steve McMichael welcome everyone to the show. Tenay announces that he is here to replace Eric Bischoff. But there will be more on that later on. 'American Made' begins to play and here comes the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan! Hogan marches out to the ring as we see a replay of what happened last week where he brawled with his friend Randy Savage. Hogan enters the ring and begins with 'Let me tell you something, brother.' He begins talking about the attack last week by Randy Savage and says that's not the Macho Man he knows, brother. In fact, he thinks that there's someone who's been in the ear of the Macho Man. He says that he will be there in the pit with Piper at the end of the night to get answers from Savage. Before Hogan can wrap up, he gets interrupted with an unexpected theme song. Lord Steven Regal walks out from the back and walks toward the ring. Regal climbs the stairs and brushes his feet off on the apron before stepping in the ring. Hogan looks confused at this interruption and asks Regal why he's here. Regal says that is an absolute disgrace that such a brutish wrestler like Hulk Hogan is the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Regal calls Hogan a brutish fossil of a decayed era that is better off forgotten. He says that there is no way that someone like Hogan should hold that sacred gold. So, he challenges Hogan to a match next week on Monday Nitro for the WCW World Heavyweight title. Hogan tells Regal, brother, he'd be glad to defend the title but he cannot defend the title until World War 3 where he faces the Macho Man. Hogan says that he would be willing to fight Regal in a match next week that is not for the title. Regal agrees to the match and Hogan asks him whatcha gonna do when the power of Hulkamania and all these Hulkamaniacs runs wild over you?!?! Regal smiles and offers a handshake, stating that when a gentleman makes an agreement, he shakes hands. Hogan pauses for a moment and then shakes the hand of Regal. Regal steps in and tells Hogan that he's going to stretch him out. Regal releases Hogan's hand and takes a step back before exiting the ring. Hogan celebrates in the ring before walking out. Match #1 WCW World Television Title Match 10 Minute Time Limit Match Diamond Dallas Page (w/Diamond Doll and Maxx Muscle) defends vs. Jim Neidhart We have our first match of the night as the WCW World Television Champion Diamond Dallas Page, along with Diamond Doll and Maxx Muscle, defends that title against Jim The Anvil Neidhart. Neidhart is a veteran of the squared circle and shows off his power throughout the match. DDP, though, is willing to do certain things that Neidhart is just unwilling to do at this moment. That includes using Maxx Muscle in an attack on Neidhart outside the ring while Diamond Doll distracts the referee. The action returns inside the ring and Neidhart rallies for a few moments. Neidhart lifts DDP on his shoulders, setting up for the Anvil Flattener but DDP rakes his face and then slips out behind him. Neidhart staggers around and then turns toward DDP -- Diamond Cutter! Neidhart is planted. DDP makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Diamond Dallas Page successfully defends the WCW World Television title in 8:41! Diamond Dallas Page p. Jim Neidhart =65 New Authority We go to the top of the staging area where Lanny Poffo is standing by. Poffo hypes tonight's Monday Nitro, which will include the Road Warriors taking on the Miracle Violence Connection and Shawn Michaels going one on one with Mike Rotunda. But he is baffled by the new announce team of WCW, so to clarify what has happened, he brings out none other than Eric Bischoff. Bischoff walks out all smiles. He shakes hands with Poffo and then takes the microphone. Bischoff announces that he has been placed in a new position here in WCW. He says that he is the new representative of the WCW Championship Committee here on Monday Nitro. That means that he is in control of this show and will make the decisions here from the main event to the opening match. He says that all of his decisions are final and that means that this is final as well -- Hulk Hogan will take on Lord Steven Regal next week in a non title match. Bischoff reminds everyone that he is going to do what's best for business and best for Monday Nitro. He promises to make Nitro the best show on television week after week. Speaking of being the best show, let's go to the ring for our next match. Match #2 Pretty Powerful vs. Ron Simmons and Justin Bradshaw The next match features the team of Hercules Hernandez and Paul Roma, Pretty Powerful, taking on Ron Simmons and his mystery partner. This mystery partner turns out to be Justin 'Hawk' Bradshaw. Mike Tenay talks about Bradshaw football player, both professionally and in college. He is a former tag team champion on the independent scene and hails from the Bradshaw Ranch. Pretty Powerful get the advantage early on and keep Simmons in their corner, using frequent tags and double team moves to keep him down. Simmons manages to fight his way back and makes a hot tag to Justin Bradshaw. Bradshaw comes in with quick clotheslines and a powerful fallaway slam on Paul Roma. Bradshaw knocks Hernandez out of the ring and tags Simmons back in. The All-American Ron Simmons grabs Roma and hits the Dominator, laying out the pretty part of the team. Simmons makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Ron Simmons and Justin Bradshaw win at 9:57! Ron Simmons and Justin Bradshaw p. Pretty Powerful =58 What A Rush As the crowd celebrates the victory by Ron Simmons and Justin Bradshaw, we go to a video recorded promo by Paul Ellering and the Road Warriors. Ellering says that tonight is a pivotal night in professional wrestling because two of the toughest teams in professional wrestling will be doing battle to advance to World War 3. Hawk and Animal flex behind Ellering and Hawk says that tonight they step in the ring with Steve Williams and Terry Gordy. But the Road Warriors are here to lay waste to anyone who stands in their way. Animal speaks up and says that it doesn't matter whether it's Miracle Violence Connection, the Funks, the Steiners or Lex Luger and Barry Windham. They are on their way to becoming the next WCW World Tag Team Champions at Starrcade. Hawk says that they are prepared to snack on danger and dine on death. Ohhh what a rush! Animal and Hawk flex again as we go to the ring for this next match. Match #3 Semifinals Of Number One Contender Tag Team Tournament Road Warriors (w/Paul Ellering) vs. Miracle Violence Connection (w/Mike Rotunda) Our first hour main event of the night features the Road Warriors with Paul Ellering against Miracle Violence Connection along with Mike Rotunda. David Manning will referee this bout. All four men meet in the center of the ring, staring each other down. None of the four men are ready to back down until Mike Rotunda steps up and brings his men back to their corner. Rotunda gives them some last minute instructions before exiting the ring. The bell sounds and the Road Warriors get the early advantage, attacking and knocking Terry Gordy out of the ring. They focus in on Steve Williams, sending him to the ropes but he hits them both with a double clothesline! Dr. Death throws Hawk with a suplex and then takes down Animal with a body slam. Williams gets the crowd behind him until he gets into an argument with Paul Ellering. This allows Animal to strike him from behind and bring him into the corner of the Road Warriors. Williams gets stuck in the corner of Animal and Hawk. Animal sends Williams to the ropes and drops him with a powerslam: One...Two...Kickout! The crowd gets behind the Varsity Club team. Mike Rotunda tries to get Williams fired up. Dr. Death manages to fight back when Hawk is in the ring and catches Hawk with a belly-to-belly suplex before getting to his corner and making the hot tag to Terry Gordy! Terry Bam Bam Gordy rushes in and attacks both Hawk and Animal, who is now the legal man. All four men get in the ring and do battle. Gordy hits Animal with a Samoan drop and makes the cover, scoring only a two count. Gordy adjusts the tape on his thumb, setting up Animal for the Oriental Spike! Paul Ellering climbs up on the apron, drawing the attention of both the referee and Terry Gordy. Mike Rotunda runs around and grabs Ellering, yanking him off the apron to the floor. Rotunda stands over Ellering. Gordy turns back to Animal, being taken down with a clothesline. Hawk moves onto the apron and takes the tag in as Animal lifts Gordy up onto his shoulders. Hawk heads to the top turnbuckle -- Doomsday Device! Gordy is taken down hard with the finisher of the Road Warriors! Animal catches Williams with another powerslam as Hawk covers Gordy: One...Two...Three! The Road Warriors advance in 10:32! Road Warriors p. Miracle Violence Connection =76 Another Open Challenge To end the first hour, we go to a video promo with the WCW World Television Champion Diamond Dallas Page. He stands alongside Diamond Doll and Maxx Muscle. DDP says that his first open challenge went exactly as he thought it would. He says that Jim Neidhart felt the bang. But that's no surprise because DDP is the top champion in this company. He says that is why he doesn't feel the need to participate in the World War 3 battle royal. He says he doesn't want a shot at Hulk Hogan's title because he doesn't need to step down. So, he is issuing an open challenge for anyone to face him at World War 3 for the WCW World Television title. He says he is ready to face anyone on the Monday Nitro roster but that wrestler better be ready to feel the bang! DDP makes the diamond sign and laughs before we go back to the ringside area to start the second hour. Answering A Challenge The second hour begins with the arrival of the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels out to the ring. Michaels receives boos from this crowd here in Syracuse and seems to almost revel in it for a moment. He gets on the microphone and says that maybe if this crowd was there, the Orangemen could have beaten Virginia Tech at football. Or maybe John Wallace would have proven himself good enough to go to the NBA. Michaels throws some more insults at Syracuse, including saying that they are an embarrassment to the state of New York. He says that's hard to do considering the fact that the state of New York is already an embarrassment. But, on to more pressing matters, it seems that the man he beat at Halloween Havoc wants to step in the ring with him again. He says that Sting even decided to mention that Michaels is good enough to be in a television show in December. He says that, yes, he will be leaving before Starrcade and starring in a television series. He says that he is above WCW and above Monday Nitro. As far as the challenge goes? I accept! He says he will be happy to show Sting why he is called the main event just like he's going to show that Orangeman Mike Rotunda that later on tonight. He reminds everyone that he is the Showstopper. Before he can go into a pose, though, he gets interrupted by someone walking down toward the ring. That someone is none other than 'Superstar' Steve Austin! Austin marches with authority down to the ring and steps inside. Shawn Michaels tells him that he must have taken a wrong turn from the catering area, which is where he belongs as he watches the real superstars in the ring. Austin tells Michaels that he needs to shut his yap before Austin shuts it for him. Austin says that he is sick and tired of sitting in the back and watching and waiting for his turn. He says that the people in the back keeping telling him that these moments are for someone else. They're for Hulk Hogan or Randy Savage or...Shawn Michaels. So, Austin has to do something to get himself noticed. So, he says that for the last few weeks he's been coming out here and taking down men like Greg Valentine or Psicosis or Scott Armstrong. He says that's not enough. Nuh uh! This is where it's at right now. It's Steve Austin and it's Shawn Michaels in the ring here in Syracuse, New York. Now, the Superstar knows you have a match tonight and that's fine. So, you don't touch me and I won't touch you. But what I want to know is are you willing to step in the ring with Steve Austin? Monday Nitro in two weeks, the week before World War 3, are you willing to get in the ring with the Superstar? Michaels asks him if he's done now and Austin just motions for him to talk. Michaels says that Austin is not even a has-been. He says that Austin is a never-was. He says he can prove that in two weeks. He accepts the challenge. Michaels goes for the Superkick but Austin dodges. Austin goes for the Stun Gun but Michaels manages to wiggle free and escape out to the ringside area. Michaels and Austin share looks at one another as we go to another promo. Come Out And Play This video promo takes place out on a beach somewhere. The sound of the water can be heard in the background as the waves move in and out. It is nighttime and the full moon is high in the air. The cameras focus in on one man sitting there on the beach. This man introduces himself as Raven. Raven says that the scars that he will leave on the wrestlers here in WCW are nothing compared to the mental scars that he has suffered throughout his lifetime. He says that between conception and creation falls the Raven. He says that history has shown that so many moments get lost to so many people. He says that everyone ignores his pain. He is forced to live with it every single day because nobody cares. He says that the darkness is going to fall over WCW because now it will be time for them to feel his pain. Now, it will be time for Raven to rise up. It will be time to spread pain to each and every WCW wrestler on the roster. It doesn't matter whether it's Randy Savage or Warrior or Diamond Dallas Page or Hulk Hogan. Each of them will know the depths to which the Raven's darkness can sink. None shall survive. Quote the Raven...Nevermore. Raven turns his back on the camera and extends his arms out in the cross pose before we go back to the ring. Match #4 WCW World Tag Team Titles Match Luger & Windham defend vs. Christian & Hardcastle Our penultimate match of the night features Lex Luger and Barry Windham defending the WCW World Tag Team titles against the team of Christian Cage and Sexton Hardcastle. Cage and Hardcastle requested this match last week, while Luger and Windham accepted. The match is definitely better than it might have been as it was given some time during this second hour. Cage and Hardcastle showcase their talent in this match. Cage scores a near fall on Barry Windham following a fireman's carry into a gutbuster. Windham gets caught in the corner of Cage and Hardcastle. He fights back, though, and manages to tag in Luger but the referee was distracted by Hardcastle and didn't see the tag. Cage comes in and becomes the legal man again. Cage climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits a top rope sunset flip for a two count on Windham. Windham manages to get some momentum going, knocking Cage to the mat with his own vertical suplex. He manages to make the tag and in comes the Total Package. Lex Luger rushes in and hits both Cage and Hardcastle, knocking Hardcastle off the apron. Luger sends Cage to the ropes and hits him with the powerslam! Luger plays to the crowd, flexing his muscles. The Total Package picks up Cage and lifts him onto his shoulders for the Human Torture Rack! Barry Windham takes out Sexton Hardcastle, who tries to interfere. Cage struggles and then is forced to submit. Lex Luger and Barry Windham successfully defend the WCW World Tag Team titles in 14:52! Luger & Windham d. Christian & Hardcastle =70 Snarl. Growl. Before we go back to the ring for our main event, we go to a promo featuring Warrior! Warrior says he was sitting high up in a castle looking down upon the Monday Nitro roster and he has come down for one reason and that is to attack and keep coming! That means that the Warrior is going to take on 39 other men at the end of the month in the World War3 battle royal. He says that he is going to survive because he has all of the warriors on his back helping him to eliminate all those other wrestlers. Warrior says that at World War 3, there will be a bomb detonating in the ring and there will only be one man left. That one man is going to be the true warrior and that one man is going to go forward to Starrcade and fight for the WCW World Heavyweight title. Warrior says that he is the one man that will fight for the title. Whether it's Hulk Hogan or whether it's Randy Savage doesn't matter because all of them will fall at the might of the Warrior! Warrior snarls and growls and flexes his muscles before we go to the ring. Match #5 Shawn Michaels vs. Mike Rotunda It's main event time and what a showdown we have here tonight as Shawn Michaels takes on Mike Rotunda. The Syracuse crowd is definitely on the side of the Syracuse legend Mike Rotunda. Rotunda competed in football and amateur wrestling here as one of the members of the Orangemen, or so says Mike Tenay. The crowd cheers wildly as Rotunda moves in quickly on Michaels at the sound of the bell. Rotunda uses his amateur wrestling background to keep Michaels on his toes in the early going. He takes Michaels down and goes for an early pin. It only gets a one count and Michaels slides out of the ring, pacing around the ring to recover from the early onslaught. Rotunda waits patiently in the ring until Michaels slides back in. Michaels gets the advantage when he rakes the eyes of Rotunda. He catches Rotunda with a Teardrop Suplex, scoring a two count. The crowd cheers every single move of Rotunda and boos loudly when Michaels is in control. Michaels hits Rotunda with a flying forearm and then kips up. He heads to the top turnbuckle. Michaels leaps and catches Rotunda with his version of the diving elbow drop! Michaels makes the cover and, again, scores only a two count. This time it's when Rotunda gets his foot on the bottom rope. Michaels locks Rotunda in a rear chinlock, holding him down on the mat. Rotunda listens as the crowd begins to chant his name and clap their hands. Rotunda begins to rise to his feet and shifts, taking down Michaels with a belly-to-back suplex! Both Shawn Michaels and Mike Rotunda lay on the mat as referee Nick Patrick begins the count. Both men slowly work their way to their feet, with Rotunda getting up first. Rotunda moves in with some punches to Michaels and then a kick to the gut. He drops Michaels with a double underhook suplex, bridging for a two count. Rotunda picks up Michaels and lifts him onto his shoulders, setting him up for the Airplane Spin. But Michaels wiggles his way free and brings Rotunda over with a sunset flip for a two count. Both men get to their feet and Michaels moves in, grappling with Rotunda. He uses this moment to hit Rotunda with a low blow kick behind the referee's back. Rotunda falls to his knees and Michaels moves back into the corner. Michaels tunes up the band and waits for Rotunda to get to his feet. Rotunda does and staggers toward Michaels -- Sweet Chin Music! The Superkick connects, sending Rotunda down to the mat. Michaels makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Shawn Michaels gets the win at 19:54! Shawn Michaels p. Mike Rotunda =86 In The Pit With Piper Once the ring is cleared, it is set up for the final segment of the night during a commercial break. Roddy Piper walks out from the back to boos from this crowd. Piper enters the ring and takes a microphone. He welcomes everyone In The Pit With Piper! He says that he is going to begin his segment by playing the fight song for Syracuse Orangemen. He invites everyone to stand on their feet for the song. The song that plays is NOT the fight song for Syracuse. It's actually 'Loser' by Beck! Piper falls over laughing in the ring as the boos rain down upon him. The music turns off quickly and Piper shows us a video of what happened last week between Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. The video shows Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels defeating Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. Following the match, Savage and Hogan brawl. It ends with Savage hitting the Flying Elbow Drop on Hogan and then pushing Miss Elizabeth away. Piper invites Randy Savage to come In The Pit With Piper. It is surprising that Randy Savage doesn't come out to the ring alone. Savage comes out with Sensational Sherri Martel. The Macho Man holds the ropes open for her and Martel enters the ring. Savage comes in after her and then looks Piper up and down. There's still no love lost between these two men. Martel steps up and begins hyping the true Macho Man Randy Savage. She says that he lost himself for awhile, especially when he chose to go back to Miss Elizabeth. He says that Elizabeth blinded him to what he needed to focus on. Martel says she is going to lead him to becoming the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Piper says that Savage is the next man to face Hulk Hogan for the title but he doesn't know if the Macho Man has what it takes to take things to the next level. Martel says that he does now because he has her in his corner. She will lead him to where he needs to go. Before she can continue, they get joined in the ring. Hulk Hogan walks out from the back and steps inside the ring. Hogan takes a microphone and says he knew that someone wicked was getting in the ear of the Macho Man. He says he never expected that it would be someone so nasty, though, brother. He says that Randy Savage has been under the influence of her before but he broke free of it and that's exactly what's going to happen again. He says that Savage is a good man and he knows it. Sherri Martel walks up to Hogan and slaps him across the face! Hogan looks shocked! Martel goes for another slap but Hogan blocks it, grabbing her wrist. With one of Hogan's hands occupied, Savage steps in and attacks the WCW World Heavyweight Champion! Savage knocks Hogan down and stomps on him as Roddy Piper gets out of the way. Savage and Martel stomp on Hogan. They raise each other's arms as they stand over him. The show comes to an end with Randy Savage and Sherri Martel standing over Hulk Hogan. Mike Tenay says that we will see everyone next week for WCW Monday Nitro!

  7. Hey Charasmatic Enigma, Thanks for the predictions and the comments. I'm glad you've enjoyed Wolf's build toward the second World title match. As you can tell by the ratings, I probably should have made the World title match the main event. That was my mistake. But I feel like I've definitely built him up so far as a main event level guy. The Marat Khoklov thing was an excellent idea. He is a great athlete but right now I am good with keeping him on the sidelines. I don't want to bring in ALL the retired veterans. LOL. Yeah, I've brought back quite a few big names. Obviously, I needed to when guys like Nicky Champion and now RDJ have gone down with injuries. We'll see who steps up in the future as a top babyface or heel. Hey newbiezness, Thanks for the predictions and comments. I can say that I do like Kirk Jameson. The Marksman is not only a wrestler in my promotion. He has also been made a road agent. I feel like he has a full time future there once he retires. But, right now, I'm glad using him as both a wrestler and a road agent. You could definitely say that the main event is a battle to decide who is the greatest traitor to SWF. LOL. But, there might eventually be more who can take that role. A little foreshadowing there. Hey KyTeran, Thanks for the predictions and comments. I just have to say that this comment made me smile. I am really enjoying writing for Jack Jackson. LA Knight is one of my favorites in real life. I am having fun with this character based on him.
  8. Saturday Week 4 February 2020 USPW Red, White And Blue Location: Alderbrook Grounds (North West) Attendance: 48,897 Overall Rating: 88 TV Viewers: 12,161,942 Match #1 USPW World Title Match Rich Money (w/Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier) defends vs. Running Wolf USPW Red, White And Blue begins with the arrival of the increasingly popular Native American wrestler Running Wolf. Wolf walks out to the ring and steps inside, awaiting the arrival of his opponent. Brock Cornish, on commentary, says he's surprised to see this match starting the show. USPW World Champion Rich Money comes out and he is not alone. He has Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier in his corner. Money looks supremely confident as the bell sounds and the two men circle each other to start things out. The match begins with Money using a Ducont distraction to gain the advantage. Highlights of the early moments include Money hitting the Money In The Bank, a high lift German suplex with a bridge that scores a two count, then a European arm drag and a clothesline that sends Wolf down to the mat. Money focuses his attention on the ribs and back of Wolf. Wolf gets a burst of momentum at times, but it seems that Money has his number in this match. After a brief burst of momentum by Wolf, Money comes back and hits Wolf with the Bank Roll, a side belly-to-belly suplex before heading to the top turnbuckle. Money goes for the Dollars From Heaven, a frog splash, but Wolf gets the knees up! The crowd is solidly in the corner of Running Wolf as he pulls himself up to his feet. He bounces off the ropes and hits a flying shoulderblock on Rich Money! He hits a second one! He hits a third one! Money staggers back into a corner and Wolf moves in. He climbs up and begins raining punches down on Money! The crowd counts along to ten before Wolf drops down and brings Money over with a vertical suplex. Wolf grabs his ribs for a moment, in obvious pain. He shakes it off and grabs Money, dragging him to a corner. He lifts Money up on the top of the corner and climbs up with him. Wolf hits a few punches and then hooks Money -- Jumping Superplex! The crowd goes wild as Wolf rolls over and makes the cover: One...Two...Dusty Ducont puts Money's foot on the bottom rope and motions to the official. Referee Robbie Sanchez sees Money's foot on the bottom rope and stops counting. Wolf asks about the count but Sanchez says it was only a two count. Wolf pulls Money up and lifts him on his shoulders. Money wiggles free, landing behind Wolf. Money shoves Wolf into the referee, knocking him down. Money smiles as Elizabeth Cartier slides the USPW World title belt into the ring. Money eyes up Wolf with the title belt in his hands. Money charges but Wolf ducks the belt shot! Wolf kicks Money in the gut and lifts him up on his shoulders, preparing for the Wolf Tamer. Instead, Wolf gets kicked in the gut by Dusty Ducont. He drops Money and Ducont hits Wolf with the Thrown Powerbomb! Ducont helps Money up and helps him to reach the top turnbuckle. Money sees Wolf down and leaps -- Dollars From Heaven! Money makes the cover as Ducont revives the referee: One...Two...Three! Rich Money retains the USPW World title in 14:47 in what is the best match of the year so far here in USPW! Rich Money p. Running Wolf =93 Assault Stopped The crowd boos this victory by Rich Money. Money is helped to his feet by Dusty Ducont on one side and Elizabeth Cartier on the other side. Money staggers backward to the top rope, using it to stand as he points toward Running Wolf. Money gives directions as Ducont picks up Wolf. He hooks him in and drops him with the Thrown Powerbomb again in the middle of the ring. Ducont moves to Wolf's corner and grabs his headband, picking it up and ripping it apart with his bare hands. The crowd boos this move by Ducont as he sprinkles the headband on top of Running Wolf. Rich Money heads to the top turnbuckle again but he is stopped as someone comes running in from the ramp. That person is Bulldozer Brandon Smith! Rich Money looks down at Smith and leaps but Smith catches him around the waist and throws him with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex! Elizabeth Cartier helps Rich Money and Dusty Ducont out of the ring as the Bulldozer stands over Running Wolf. Smith checks on Wolf as the crowd cheers his presence. Money, Ducont and Cartier walk to the back and Smith helps Wolf to the back as we go to a video promo. =83 Dummies, Yeah! That video promo is with the USPW National Champion Jack Jackson! Jackson looks in the camera and says 'Let me talk to ya!' He says Kirk Jameson, Enygma and Roger Cage each think that they can fill his shoes and walk away with the USPW National title but that's not gonna happen. Uh uh! That's because none of those guys has the skill it takes to beat the best National Champion in the history of that title. YEAH! People think that because I'm defending my title against three other people that I'm at a disadvantage. Uh uh! Those dummies are at a disadvantage because they're stepping in the ring with the man whose game it is. With everybody saying: Jack Jackson! YEAH! And that's not an insult. That's a fact of life. YEAH! Jackson turns and walks off and it's time for that match right now! =52 Match #2 USPW National Title Match Jack Jackson defends vs. Kirk Jameson (w/Maryam Vega) vs. Enygma vs. Roger Cage Our second match of the night is our second title match as Jack Jackson defends the USPW National title against Kirk Jameson, Enygma and Roger Cage in a fatal fourway match. Jackson immediately exits the ring and leans against the barricade, motioning for the other three men to fight. Jameson shrugs and rolls up Roger Cage: One...Two...Kickout! Jameson pops up to his feet and immediately takes an Enygmagiri Kick! Enygma makes the cover: One...Two...Roger Cage pulls Enygma off the pin. Enygma and Cage look at each other and then exit the ring and go after Jackson! They chase Jackson around the ring until he nearly runs into Maryam Vega. With all three men gathered together, Jameson leaps through the ropes with a dive taking out all three of his competitors! All men get the opportunity to get the advantage throughout the match. This includes Enygma locking Jameson in the Enygma Variation only for it to be broken up by Jack Jackson and Jameson locking Roger Cage in the Kirk-Hold and that gets broken up by Enygma. Roger Cage and Enygma show some actual excellent chemistry when they team up together. The climax comes when Roger Cage hits Enygma with the Cage Rage, diving reverse DDT. Cage gets thrown out of the ring by Jackson. Jackson grabs Enygma and hits the Implant DDT. Jackson makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Jack Jackson retains the USPW National title in 9:34! Jack Jackson p. Kirk Jameson, Enygma and Roger Cage =61 The Dark Destroyer Is Here A video promo is shown of one of the top wrestlers in USPW. This is the former USPW World Champion Steve Frehley. The Dark Destroyer looks into the camera and reminds everyone of what happened last Wednesday night. He says that he put Jack Bruce through a table. He says that they will be lucky if Bruce even makes it to the show tonight, much less is able to put on an entertaining match. But that's what Steve Frehley always does. He is the most electrifying man in USPW today. He warns Bruce that if he does come to the ring, he's facing the jabroni beating, Jack Bruce eating, trail blazing, eyebrow raising, best in the present, future and past and tonight you're going to see him beat Jack Bruce's ass. Why is that? Because Jack Bruce, you ain't nothin. Frehley raises an eyebrow and we go to the ring for our next match. =87 Match #3 Rajah and The Cold Warriors vs. Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express Our next match is a six man tag team encounter. Rajah turns out to be the mystery partner of The Cold Warriors as they take on Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express. All six men start in the ring, with Rajah and The Cold Warriors taking the advantage, knocking RDJ, Turk Trenneman and Cooper Christie out of the ring. A USA chant breaks out through the crowd. One of the lowlights of the match comes as RDJ is playing face-in-peril and Petr Novak drops him hard on his head, giving him a minor concussion. RDJ manages to make the hot tag to Cooper Christie and it's a brawl between him and Rajah in the ring. Christie gets the advantage, knocking Rajah to the ground and heading for the top turnbuckle. Christie leaps with a Top Rope Elbow Drop, connecting on Rajah! Christie makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express win the match at 8:35! Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express p. Rajah and The Cold Warriors =64 Dirty White Boys Are Coming This video begins on a long, dusty road. The road seems to be out in the middle of nowhere. Tumbleweeds even go across the screen. In the background, the sounds of motorcycles revving up can be heard. The sun beats down as the motorcycles draw nearer. Two rugged men can be seen driving the motorcycles and they are announced in a voiceover as Grease Hogg and Lead Belly, the Dirty White Boys. The voiceover says that in the heart of the unforgiving wilderness, where the dust settles and the echoes of the engines reverberate, two titans emerge. They are the embodiment of chaos and mayhem. They are the Dirty White Boys. Feared by many and respected by few, these two warriors have left a trail of destruction in their wake. They promise to reign supreme as the most formidable force in the tag team division. They set their sights on USPW and the World Tag Team titles. Brace yourselves for the storm, for when Grease Hogg and Lead Belly ride into town, there's no escaping their wrath. The two men ride on and the announcer lets everyone know that they are coming soon to USPW. =45 Match #4 Trent Shaffer (w/Raven Robinson) vs. Skull DeBones We have reached the halfway point of the night as 'The Talent' Trent Shaffer, along with Raven Robinson, steps into the ring with the mighty Skull DeBones. When the bell sounds, Shaffer tries to circle around and look for a moment to step in. He goes in for a single leg takedown but DeBones just stands there. DeBones grabs Shaffer and tosses him across the ring, following in with an avalanche clothesline in the corner. DeBones bounces off the ropes and hits a big boot on Shaffer. Shaffer rolls out of the ring and talks with Raven Robinson. Before the referee can count ten, Shaffer slides back in and goes after DeBones again. He rakes the eyes of DeBones and knocks him back in a corner. He kicks him several times and takes control of the match. Shaffer climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits a somersault senton on DeBones, sending him down to the mat. Shaffer plays to the crowd for a moment, drawing in boos. Shaffer continues his control but no matter what he does it seems like DeBones just simply shrugs it off. DeBones fights back and hits the Flying Lariat Clothesline known as the Reaper Leaper. DeBones calls for the Skull Krusher but Raven Robinson climbs on the apron, getting the attention of both the referee and DeBones. With them both distracted, Tyson Baine comes down and enters the ring. The Demon From The Deep enters the ring behind DeBones. He turns him around and grabs DeBones by the throat, hitting the Hades Bomb, a double handed choke bomb! Trent Shaffer slips in, and grabs DeBones, hitting the Heart Burn, his version of a lung blower. Shaffer makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Trent Shaffer gets the win at 10:40! Trent Shaffer p. DeBones manages to sit up through the attacks and Baine strikes him with the Devil's Hammer, a big clubbing blow. Baine pulls up DeBones and sets him up for a second Hades Bomb but DeBones blocks it. DeBones strikes Baine with several punches and then hits the DeBones Shaker, a powerful forearm smash to the face! Officials come running out from the back and step in, trying to separate the two men. As the two men are being separated, we go to a video. =72 Joss Thompson Versus Casey Valentine A video begins to play hyping the next match, which features The Complete Package Joss Thompson taking on The Cool Hand Casey Valentine. Highlights of this feud include Casey Valentine defeating Joss Thompson on an episode of American Wrestling, Thompson challenging Valentine to this match and then attacking him and hitting the Clean Cutter and Thompson interrupting a Valentine's Day date for Casey Valentine. Casey Valentine comes out and then motions toward the back and the cheerleader Dawn Gemmell joins him. Gemmell holds up signs that read 'Casey' and then a second one that reads 'Valentine.' Valentine walks to the ring and steps inside, getting attacked immediately by Thompson. The brawler, Thompson, is in control in the early moments of the match. Thompson sends Valentine to the ropes and hits a sidewalk slam, reminiscent of Rick Law's Squad Car Slam. Thompson plays to Dawn Gemmell, flexing his muscles before returning to Valentine. Valentine fires back, getting to his knees and punching Thompson in the gut. Valentine, who is proficient in both technical wrestling and brawling, shows his skill in the ring against Thompson. Gemmell gets the crowd behind Valentine, holding up her signs. Valentine catches Thompson with a fallaway slam. Joss Thompson =80 Retaining My Title We go backstage, once again, this time we are with the USPW Women's Champion Jaime Quine. Quine is taking a selfie and then looks up into the camera, seemingly just now realizing it's time for her to cut her promo. Quine smiles and says that, tonight, she is stepping in the ring with the most hated woman in USPW history. Quine says that she has been watching Pariah build some momentum in the ring but no momentum with the women in the back. She says that Pariah should go back to being an FBI agent. She says that it's perfect that she was part of Operation Lullaby because when Quine hits her with the K.O. Kick, it's going to put her to sleep in the middle of the ring. Quine takes another selfie, reminding the fans that they need to join her Instagram because she is a star. With that, we go back to the ring. =69 Match #6 The Olympus Order vs. James Justice and Jett & Moor Six man tag match is next as The Olympus Order steps into the ring with James Justice and the USPW World Tag Team Champions Jacob Jett and Julius Moor. A stipulation has been placed on the match that if The Olympus Order wins, they receive a USPW World Tag Team title match. The match, surprisingly, starts out normal with Zeus and James Justice in the ring and the other wrestlers standing in their corners. Zeus tells Justice that he needs to bow down to the god of professional wrestling. Justice starts a 'Dude' chant and Zeus slaps him. The two begin brawling and kick off a pretty decent six man match. We have a very hot crowd for the match. After some tags, Julius Moor plays the face-in-peril, taken over to the corner of The Olympus Order. They use frequent tags to keep a fresh man in the ring but Moor refuses to stay down. The former defensive tackle manages to fight back against all three men before rushing to his corner and tagging in the high flying Jacob Jett. Jett comes in with some flying kicks and this brings in all six men for a pier six brawl. Jett hits Bash Street with the backflip kick known as Cleared For Take Off. Zeus, though, catches Jett from behind with a clubbing blow. Justice comes in and sends Zeus out of the ring. Bash Street comes back and hits Jett with a Crucifix Powerbomb. He says that this hasn't happened in the history of professional wrestling and he wants this match. He says that everyone knows that Michaels is leaving WCW to guest star in a television show before Starrcade and won't be back until 1996. Sting says he's the type of man who will always be here for the fans. He says he wants to send Michaels to that television show with a loss. Sting releases a howl and gets interrupted. Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman come out from the back and walk toward the ring. They surround the ring on three sides. Flair gets on the microphone and says that The Horsemen should have been the number one picks. He reminds everyone that diamonds are forever and so are The Horsemen. Flair announces that all three of them will be in the World War 3 battle royal. He says it's only a matter of time before The Horsemen hold all the gold in WCW, whether that's on Saturday Night, Monday Nitro or wherever they want to be. It shows when he hits a standing dropkick on Pillman and then grabs his head in pain. This allows Pillman to gain the advantage and catch Sting with the headscissors takedown. Pillman plays to the crowd before turning back to Sting. The crowd is definitely behind Sting as Pillman continues to be in control. Booker T and Stevie Ray slide out of the ring as Rick Steiner jogs around, barking. Rick drops to all fours and Scott stands over him and they stare down Harlem Heat. Once the match gets started proper, Harlem Heat drag Rick Steiner into their corner and isolate him with double teams and quick tags in and out. Booker catches Rick with the 110th Street Slam, scoring a two count before it's broken up by Scott. Rick comes back in and brawls with Booker. Both of them go outside the ring. In the ring, Scott sends Ray to the ropes and hits him with a tilt-a-whirl slam. Scott waves his finger in the air, picking up Ray. He sends him to the ropes one more time -- Frankensteiner! Scott makes the cover as Booker T slides back in the ring: One...Two...Rick trips Booker and pulls him back out...Three! Steiner Brothers win the match and advance at 18:26! Steiner Brothers p. Harlem Heat =76 Giant Surprise Backstage, we are shown the WCW United States Champion The Giant and he is...walking! The Giant walks into a dressing room where the mastadon helmet of Big Van Vader is sitting in the middle of the room. The Giant looks confused at this, tilting his head for a moment. He approaches the helmet and steam fires up from the helmet right into the chest and face of The Giant! The Giant roars in pain, stumbling backward. He knocks into the door of the dressing room, knocking the door off it's hinges! The door falls to the ground and The Giant staggers away as we go to the interview area. Studd Express? For one final time this night, Gene Okerlund is standing by at the interview area. Mean Gene hypes the WCW hotline and says that he will be talking about WCW Saturday Night and all of the fallout from the draft. He tells the fans to make sure that they tune in. Then, he brings out some of the newest members of the Saturday Night roster and they are the Studd Stable members Col. Robert Parker, Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater! The crowd boos these three men as they join Okerlund. Parker says that they are here on WCW Saturday Night, which makes this the best show in professional wrestling. Parker chides the members of the championship committee because the Studd Stable were not chosen to be in the tag team tournament. Parker says that they would have beaten any of the four teams in that tournament, reminding fans that Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater are former WCW World Tag Team Champions. He says they certainly would have lasted longer than the Rock 'N' Roll Express did. The crowd boos this talk but those boos turn to cheers. Col. Robert Parker's words bring out Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, The Rock 'N' Roll Express. Morton looks between Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater and then says that Parker's words sound like a challenge. Buck says he's going to make it a challenge right now for a tag team match next week. Slater laughs and says that they can beat The Rock 'N' Roll Express one handed. Robert Gibson speaks up, saying he's not going to take them up on the one-handed offer but they will take them up on the wrestling match next week on WCW Saturday Night. Gibson says they are going to turn the Studd Stable into the Dud Stable. Morton tells the Studd Stable to strap in because they're in for a wild ride. The four wrestlers go face to face, while Okerlund asks for security and then sends us to the ring for our main event. Match #5 Ric Flair (w/Arn Anderson) vs. Ricky Steamboat It is main event time and what a main event we have for you tonight. On one side, we have The Nature Boy Ric Flair, the leader of the Four Horsemen. In his corner stands his Enforcer Arn Anderson. In the opposite corner, we have Ricky The Dragon Steamboat. Both men are veterans of the squared circle and veterans against each other. When the bell sounds, the two men circle each other and Flair backs to the ropes, using the referee to push Steamboat back. Flair does a strut and releases a 'Whoo' that is echoed by a contingent of the fans here. The two men finally lock up with Steamboat walking Flair back into a corner. Flair shifts at the last moment, sending Steamboat into the corner instead. He releases and unleashes a knife-edge chop in the corner. Flair hits two more chops before Steamboat fires back with chops of his own. Steamboat throws punches and chops, backing Flair to the center of the ring. Flair puts his fists up and then drops face-first onto the mat. Steamboat picks up Flair and sends him to the ropes, hitting an arm drag into an armbar. Steamboat kneels there with the armbar, locking it in tight. Flair works his way to his feet and uses a throw to get Steamboat to release the hold. Flair rolls outside the ring to catch a breath and regroup with Arn Anderson. Ricky Steamboat walks over to the ropes and grabs the top rope, using it to propel himself over with a cross body. But, Arn Anderson shoves Flair out of the way and takes the blow himself. Flair moves back in quickly and stomps Steamboat on the knee. He sends Steamboat into the ring post and then drags him over to the camera. He uses the cord on the camera to choke Steamboat behind the referee's back. Flair sends Steamboat back into the ring as the match continues. The match continues with Ric Flair in control of Ricky Steamboat. Flair turns his focus to the right knee of Steamboat, stomping on it and even locking in a leglock that has Steamboat struggling and trying not to submit. Flair releases the leglock and then places the leg across the bottom rope. Flair uses the top rope to propel himself up and hit a seated senton on the leg. Steamboat cries out in pain as Flair does a strut across the ring. Flair picks up Steamboat and hits the shinbreaker, laying Steamboat out in the center of the ring. Flair bounces off the ropes and hits a running, jumping knee drop. Flair makes the cover: One...Two...Shoulder Up! The crowd cheers as Steamboat gets the shoulder up! The match continues with Flair still focusing on that right knee. Steamboat gets a few quick shots of momentum but they are usually stopped either by Flair or by Arn Anderson interfering in the bout. Flair goes for the Figure Four but Steamboat rolls him into a small package: One...Two...Kickout! Flair pops back up to his feet and pulls up Steamboat into a corner. Flair laces Steamboat's chest with knife-edge chops and then sends him to the opposite side. Flair rushes in but takes a back elbow from Steamboat. Steamboat limps in and Flair and Steamboat hit a double clothesline, sending both men to the mat. Referee Charles Robinson begins to count both men down on the mat. Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat are slow to get up. Flair gets up first and moves in, tripping Steamboat down and grabbing the right leg. Flair gives it a hard yank and then drops an elbow on the knee. Flair gets up and pulls Steamboat to his feet. Flair gives another strut across the ring before coming back to Steamboat and Steamboat gets his second wind! He fires chops and punches to Flair before sending Flair to the ropes and hitting a standing dropkick! Steamboat grabs his knee for a moment but manages to pull himself up. Steamboat grabs Flair and sends him to the turnbuckle. Flair flips up and over the turnbuckle, landing on the apron. He runs across and climbs the turnbuckle where he's met by Steamboat. Steamboat body slams Flair off the top turnbuckle and then moves in, locking the standing double chicken wing on Flair! Flair shakes his head, refusing to submit. Arn Anderson climbs on the apron, drawing the attention of the referee. Anderson tries to get in the ring but the referee stops him. Steamboat sees this and releases Flair, walking over to Anderson. Steamboat knocks Anderson off the apron with a punch! With Steamboat distracted, Flair hits a chop block to the knee from behind. Flair drags Steamboat to the center of the ring and locks in the Figure Four! Flair uses the ropes for leverage as the referee asks Steamboat if he submits. This eventually forces The Dragon to submit. Ric Flair gets the submission win at 18:52! Ric Flair d. Ricky Steamboat =89 Pull Apart Brawl Ric Flair has gotten the win in the first main event of WCW Saturday Night in the brand split era. Flair refuses to release the Figure Four! Arn Anderson climbs in the ring and grabs referee Charles Robinson, tossing him out of the ring. Brian Pillman comes out and Anderson and Pillman put the boots to Ricky Steamboat! Flair finally releases the Figure Four and the three Horsemen members continue to attack The Dragon. Anderson slides out of the ring and grabs a chair, sliding back in. He places Steamboat's right leg in the chair before Sting, Lex Luger and Barry Windham come running in from the back! All six men, aside from Ricky Steamboat, do battle in a pull apart brawl inside the ring. Just like with what happened earlier tonight, The Horsemen are sent out of the ring by Sting and the WCW World Tag Team Champions! The crowd cheers as Sting releases a howl in the ring. Sting, Luger and Windham stand over Steamboat as The Horsemen back up the aisle. We'll see you next week on WCW Saturday Night where The Funks will take on Steiner Brothers! Make sure you tune in!

Wednesday Week 4 February 2020 USPW American Wrestling Location: Plum Park (Tri State) Attendance: 12,376 Overall Rating: 89 TV Viewers: 10,611,936 Mystery Opponent Revealed 12,376 fans are live here in Plum Park for the go-home show for Red, White And Blue. American Wrestling is live with Brock Cornish, Emily McQueen and Belle Bryden on commentary, welcoming everyone to the show. The crowd rises in cheers when 'Judas' begins to play. Out from the back comes Jack Bruce, walking to the ring and high fiving the fans on his way down. He steps inside and begins with 'all hail the Ayatollah of rock and roll-a!' Bruce talks about the fact that he came out of retirement to face the best in professional wrestling and when you want to face the best you come to USPW. He says that he wishes Nicky Champion nothing but luck in his rehab but once he gets better he wants the dream match. He says that Nicky Champion has made his list of wrestlers he wants to face before he retires for good. He discusses having his first match tonight in USPW against a mystery opponent. Before he can continue, he gets interrupted. He is interrupted by the arrival of The Complete Package Joss Thompson. Thompson walks out to the ring and steps inside. He begins by reminding Jack Bruce that he is a former USPW World Champion. But this is the first time that the two of them have stepped into the ring together. Bruce asks him just who he is and Thompson introduces himself as The Complete Package Joss Thompson. Bruce replies that he's the guy that lost to Casey Valentine and is going to do it again this Saturday night. Bruce clicks his tongue for a moment and then says that Thompson is actually on the list. Thompson says they should do it tonight. Bruce shrugs and agrees and out comes Rick Law. Law stands at the top of the ramp and makes things official. It will be Jack Bruce versus Joss Thompson tonight in our main event. Thompson smiles and hits Bruce with a cheap shot. Bruce fires back and manages to hit the Long Island Trio, a trio of vertical suplexes. Thompson rolls out of the ring and Bruce celebrates before the ring and ringside area are cleared. =98 Match #1 Funky Fedora vs. Running Wolf The very first match of the night features Funky Fedora from SECW taking on the number one contender to the USPW World title, Running Wolf. The match is more even sided than one might think as Funky Fedora gets in a few blows and Running Wolf plays from the bottom for most of the match. Fedora goes for the Top Rope Kneedrop but Wolf avoids it and Fedora strikes the mat with his knee. Wolf takes control, hitting Fedora with several running shoulderblocks and then an atomic drop. Wolf gets the crowd involved before lifting Fedora up on his shoulders -- Wolf Tamer! The Fireman's Carry Slam lands hard and Wolf makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Running Wolf gets the pinfall victory at 10:30! Running Wolf p. Funky Fedora =75 I Want To Defend My Title From there, we go to the office of authority figure Rick Law. Law announces that he won't be in the building at Red, White And Blue. But that things will run smoothly like they have since he became the authority figure. With that, his door bursts open and in walks Jack Jackson, the USPW National Champion. Jackson says that things haven't run smoothly because Jack Jackson doesn't have a title defense at Red, White And Blue. He reminds Law that he is a megastar and deserves to be seen on the big PLE's each month, YEAH! Law agrees and says he has just recently signed a match for Jack Jackson. He says that Jackson will defend the National title in a fatal fourway bout against Kirk Jameson, Enygma and Roger Cage. Jackson laughs and says that the cards cannot be stacked against him because he's better than all three of those wrestlers. He says that tonight he will make sure to take out one of his opponents in that tag match and that's not an insult, that's a fact of life. Yeah! Jackson reminds Law that this is his show and his game with everybody saying Jack Jackson! YEAH! Jackson turns and walks off and we go to the ring. =61 Match #2 Trent Shaffer (w/Raven Robinson) vs. Greg Black Our second match of the night is a showcase match for The Talent Trent Shaffer as he takes on Greg Black. Raven Robinson watches from ringside as her man dominates the match against Black. Shaffer scores a near fall with a belly-to-belly suplex but seems to smile when Black kicks out because it means he can continue. Shaffer heads to the top turnbuckle and hits a frog splash on Black but doesn't go for the pin. Instead, he pulls Black to his feet and hits the Heart Burn, his version of the lung blower. Shaffer makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Trent Shaffer gets the win at 5:34! Trent Shaffer p. Greg Black =76 Skull Krusher As Trent Shaffer and Raven Robinson celebrate in the ring, we are taken to a video of a graveyard where Skull DeBones stands in front of several graves. He motions toward a headstone, which reveals the name of Trent Shaffer on it. DeBones looks into the camera and says that he is the harbinger of death, the man who knows the future of these wrestlers and it all comes down to death. DeBones promises to land the Skull Krusher on Shaffer this time and plant him in the middle of the ring. DeBones promises to bring death upon The Talent. May he rest in peace. As DeBones stands there, the camera shows someone standing in the background. The man standing there is the Demon From The Deep Tyson Baine! Before anything can happen, the video turns off and we go to the ring. =77 Match #3 Jack Jackson and Kirk Jameson (w/Maryam Vega) vs. Enygma and Roger Cage It's the first hour main event as the USPW National Champion Jack Jackson teams up with Kirk Jameson to take on Enygma and Roger Cage. All four of these men will do battle in a fatal fourway match at Red, White And Blue this Saturday night. Cage and Enygma show some excellent chemistry in their teaming together early on, using some quick tags to frustrate Kirk Jameson. Jameson brings in Jackson and Jackson pokes Enygma through the mask, dragging him over to the corner and isolating him. Jackson and Jameson use some frequent tags to keep Enygma in their corner. Jackson takes him over with three straight German suplexes. The surprise of the night comes when Jackson pulls out a pair of brass knuckles and strikes Enygma. Jackson makes the cover as Jameson knocks Roger Cage off the apron: One...Two...Three! Jack Jackson and Kirk Jameson score the upset at 12:28! Jack Jackson and Kirk Jameson p. Enygma and Roger Cage =68 Modeling Gig We go from the ring to a photo shoot featuring the USPW Women's Champion Jaime Quine. Quine is shown posing for several pictures before she walks away and picks up her cell phone. She offers a smile toward the camera and talks about how Pariah is the most unliked person in the female locker room. She says that nobody back there trusts her and that's why her name is perfect. Quine says that this photo shoot proves that she is the best looking female on the roster and that means she deserves to be the USPW Women's Champion. She tells Pariah that she has a paper bag ready to cover her face because she doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as the most beautiful champion in USPW history. Quine tells Pariah that she better get ready because she's in the wrong ring at the wrong time. Quine takes a selfie as the first hour comes to an end and we cut back to the ring. =66 You Won't Win My Title The second hour begins with the arrival of the USPW World Champion Rich Money, his bodyguard Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier. The three of them enter the ring and Money is handed a microphone by Ducont. Money begins by hyping his match with Running Wolf this Saturday night. He says that Wolf beat him last month but he didn't walk away with the title. The title is in the hands of the man that can pay for it. Money sends us to a recap of what happened at the end of last week where he dropped cement into the car of Running Wolf. After the recap, we go back to Rich Money, who is smiling and laughing in the ring. Money says that was the funniest thing he's seen in awhile. It is slightly more funny than Running Wolf saying he can win the USPW World title this Saturday night. Money reminds everyone that he's the man who's got more money than he knows what to do with. He starts to say that everybody has a price but he gets interrupted mid-sentence. Running Wolf walks out, drawing in cheers from the fans here in Plum Park. Wolf walks down to the ring and steps inside as Dusty Ducont steps forward. Ducont steps in between Wolf and Rich Money. Wolf looks Ducont up and down for a moment before taking a microphone. He warns Ducont that the money is going to dry up after Saturday when Rich Money loses the title. Wolf asks Ducont if he looks after Rich Money or if he looks after the USPW World Champion. Ducont admits that Money is his boss and he does what Rich Money tells him to do. Money tells Ducont to take care of business and this leads to a fist fight between Wolf and Ducont! Money steps in, attacking Wolf from behind and leading to a double team of Wolf by Money and Ducont as Elizabeth Cartier shouts instructions from a corner. Ducont holds Wolf down as Money heads to the top turnbuckle. Money leaps and hits the Dollars From Heaven! The modified frog splash connects and Wolf's ribs are definitely hurt after that assault. Rich Money stands up and stands beside Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier. All three raise their arms up as we go to another video. =87 Coming Soon To USPW This video begins on a long, dusty road. =45 Match #4 The Cold Warriors vs. Natural Storm Speaking of the tag team division, The Cold Warriors step into the ring for the first time since Petr Novak was suspended and take on former six time USPW World Tag Team Champions Natural Storm. D.C. Rayne and Eddie Howard get the advantage early on, knocking both Petr Novak and Krusher Karloff out of the ring. Rayne and Howard bounce off the ropes and hit dual suicide dives on The Cold Warriors. Natural Storm play to the crowd before re-entering the ring. The match continues with momentum shifting back and forth in this tag team encounter. The Cold Warriors get the advantage and Rayne is knocked off the apron. Howard is sent into a neutral corner and Karloff Irish whips Novak into the corner with a tag team avalanche. Novak whips Howard into a Karloff Spinebuster! The double team known as The Balance Of Power takes down Howard and Novak makes the cover: One...Two...Three! The Cold Warriors pick up the win at 5:40! The Cold Warriors p. Natural Storm =71 Valentine's Day We go backstage for a promo with Casey Valentine. Valentine talks about Joss Thompson taking a main event match less than a week before their match at Red, White And Blue. Valentine says that Thompson made a mistake and it's going to cost him this Saturday. But, at least now he'll have an excuse when he gets pinned for a second time. Valentine talks about his family lineage and how he will finish with Thompson and look toward the USPW National title. As Valentine is talking, Dawn Gemmell walks up to him. Gemmell, who hasn't been seen this year since Rick Law was made the authority figure, walks up to Valentine and says she's been watching him lately. She says that Valentine has what it takes to take things to another level. Gemmell says she wants to have dinner with Valentine tonight and talk about business. Valentine says he's surprised and honored and says he will definitely have dinner with her. The two walk away to make their plans as we go to the ring. =72 Match #5 Raven Robinson (w/Trent Shaffer) vs. Pariah Our penultimate match features the 26 year veteran Raven Robinson taking on the seven year upstart in Pariah. Pariah tries to speed things up in the early goings of the match, keeping Robinson on her heels throughout the contest. A little distraction by Trent Shaffer leads to Robinson taking the advantage. Robinson catches Pariah with an early DDT but only scores a two count. She slows things down in the ring, keeping Pariah on the mat. Robinson focuses on the right arm of Pariah, locking in armbars and hitting a Japanese arm drag to take down Pariah. Robinson goes for the Night Faller but Pariah breaks free and hits a Pele kick! Pariah gets the crowd behind her and speeds things up, including hitting a springboard cross body! Pariah drags Robinson into a corner and hits a Tornado DDT! Pariah makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Pariah picks up the win and momentum for Red, White And Blue at 11:06! Pariah p. Raven Robinson =69 Six Man Hype We go backstage where we see the USPW World Tag Team Champions Jacob Jett and Julius Moor alongside James Justice. Justice walks up and shakes hands, shouting 'DUDES!' Justice says that they are only a few days away from shutting down the Olympus Dudes. He says that Zeus thinks he's a god but he's only a dude. He says that they can prove that this Saturday. Jacob Jett agrees and he wants to up the ante. He says that if The Olympus Order can win this Saturday night, then they receive another shot at the USPW World Tag Team titles at Liberty And Justice. Before Julius Moor can speak, they are interrupted by the USPW return of Persephone! Persephone smiles at the USPW World Tag Team Champions. Jett asks about her husband and she says that Nicky Champion is recovering. She says that she wanted to be here tonight to wish them good luck on Saturday. She says that she and her husband will be watching. She gives a hug to both the champions and to Justice. Justice smiles and says 'Dude!' Jett and Moor shrug and give a 'Dude!' themselves before we go to the ring for our main event. =59 Match #6 Joss Thompson vs. Jack Bruce It is main event time and the first ever USPW match for Jack Bruce as he takes on The Complete Package Joss Thompson. The crowd gets fired up for the entrance of Jack Bruce here at Plum Park. Bruce enters the ring and goes face to face with Thompson. Thompson slaps Bruce and Bruce fires back with punches. Bruce hits two big right hand punches, does a little dance and then a big left hook to fell Thompson. The move known as the Jack Bruce Flurry has Thompson rolling out of the ring and calling for a timeout. But, there's no timeouts in professional wrestling. Thompson rolls back in and we have a back and forth moment for both Bruce and Thompson. Thompson uses a rake of the face to get the advantage and shows off his strength when he lifts Bruce up in a press slam. He presses Bruce overhead and then drops Bruce behind him to the mat. Thompson flexes and poses to boos from the crowd. The Complete Package drops an elbow and makes the cover: One...Two...Kickout! The crowd gets behind Jack Bruce as the match continues with Joss Thompson in control. Thompson drags Bruce out of the ring and uses the cable from the camera to choke him outside the view of the referee. The match returns inside the ring and Thompson calls for the Clean Cutter. Thompson lifts Bruce for the spinning back suplex bomb. As soon as he starts spinning, Bruce reverses the hold, flipping Thompson onto the mat. Both men get up and hit a double clothesline. The fans get behind Jack Bruce and he uses the ropes to get to his feet. He ducks a clothesline from Joss Thompson and kicks him in the gut. He grabs him and hits one vertical suplex. He flips over and hits a second vertical suplex! He flips over and hits the Long Island Trio! Three straight vertical suplexes bring Thompson down to the mat. Bruce plays to the crowd before going for the Welcome To NYC! This begins with an elbow drop and then a leg drop and then a big splash. Bruce gets up and moves into a corner, eyeing Thompson and preparing for him to get up. Thompson gets to his knees and Bruce moves in, striking with the legdrop bulldog known as the New York Minute! Jack Bruce makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Jack Bruce gets the win at 13:04! Jack Bruce p. Joss Thompson =88 Finish The Show The big main event is over and Jack Bruce gets to his feet. He gets his arm raised as Joss Thompson leaves the ring. Bruce asks for a microphone and receives one. He begins by giving respect to Joss Thompson, saying that he earned his way onto the list. Bruce then says that his attention has turned to this Saturday. He reminds the fans that he will be in the main event of his first USPW premium live event as he takes on Steve Frehley. The fans boo The Dark Destroyer and Bruce just smiles. Bruce says that this Saturday the Ayatollah of Rock and Roll-a is going to prove once again why he is the best. He is going to show the world at Alderbrook Grounds that he is going to be the man who leaves walking, while Frehley is left with a broken body and a shattered spirit. Before Bruce can continue, he gets interrupted. The Dark Destroyer Steve Frehley walks out to the ring and steps inside. Frehley asks for a microphone and receives it. He tells Jack Bruce that he needs to shut his mouth and know his role because the millions and millions of Steve Frehley's fans are chanting his name. There is a small contingent of fans here that chant the name of Steve Frehley. Frehley says that Jack Bruce does do a lot of running his mouth but he doesn't back it up in the ring. Frehley says that last month he beat the face of USPW in Nicky Champion by putting him through a table. Frehley says he might do the same thing to Jack Bruce when their match is over. Bruce tells him to try it. This leads to a brawl between the two wrestlers. The brawl spills outside the ring and Frehley bounces Bruce off the announce table and off the ring post. Frehley clears the announce table and then grabs Bruce, lifting him on his shoulders. He drops Bruce with the Frehley's Comet through the table! The announce table is shattered! Steve Frehley manages to make his way to his feet and stands over Jack Bruce. The show comes to an end with Frehley standing over Bruce. Will this happen this Saturday? Make sure you tune in and find out. We'll see you there! =94
  15. Hey knkmaster69, Thanks for your comment and sorry it took me so long to get back to you on that. It did take some convincing for Frehley to take the loss, but I think the story will be better this way in the end. Glad you're enjoying what I'm doing with the roster. I can't take full credit for RDJ and the Express teaming together as I've seen it in other diaries. But, it definitely works. I am definitely trying to build some of the younger stars, like Jackson, The Texas Express, etc. The sky is the limit for The Texas Express, as long as they can get through The Cold Warriors. Glad you're looking forward to Red, White And Blue. I've already put it through the game and it is quite the show.

  18. Monday Week 1 November 1995 WCW Monday Nitro Location: Cincinnati Gardens (Great Lakes) Attendance: 8,752 Overall Rating: 84 TV Rating: 2.13 Drafted First The very first Monday Nitro of the brand split era takes place in the Cincinnati Gardens in Cincinnati, Ohio. 8,752 fans are here in the Gardens as the show begins with the arrival of The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels and Rowdy Roddy Piper! The crowd boos this arrival as the two number one picks in the draft enter the ring. Michaels starts on the microphone, proclaiming the top two draft picks in the brand split are in the ring. Piper says that nobody can deny the talent and charisma that the two of them bring. He says that the two of them are the cream of the crop. Piper says that they are going to prove that tonight when Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage step into the pit with Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels. Michaels says it's fitting that he's in the final match tonight because he is the main event, the showstopper. Michaels poses before the two of them are interrupted by American Made. Out from the back comes Hulk Hogan, the WCW World Heavyweight Champion! Hogan gets a mixed response from the crowd as he walks out and joins Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels in the ring. Hogan looks between the two of them and begins with his 'let me tell you something, brother.' Hardcastle says that, speaking of kicking some butts, that's what's about to happen to the Miracle Violence Connection. He says it will be a miracle if they can last more than three minutes with them. Cage, though, says they don't want to wait until Starrcade. Cage challenges Lex Luger and Barry Windham to face them next week on Monday Nitro. Cage says that they are the next big thing in WCW. Hardcastle says you're entering the danger zone tonight. The first few minutes have Cage and Hardcastle in control until Williams starts to fight back, managing to throw Cage across the ring with his strength. The Miracle Violence Connection gets in control, isolating Cage in their corner. Windham says that, while being the WCW World Tag Team Champions is great, he has made the decision to put his hat in the ring when it comes to the World War 3 battle royal. Luger says he's done the same thing and reminds Windham that this is every man for himself. He says that only one man out of forty can win. Windham says he will be that one. But that they have a title defense next week. He says they are accepting the challenge of Christian Cage and Sexton Hardcastle. Luger says they better bring their A-game because when you step in the ring with Luger and Windham you're walking into the lion's den. The two nod in agreement and we go to the ring for our main event. Match #7 Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels vs. Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage (w/Miss Elizabeth) Our very first main event for the brand-split era of Monday Nitro features four legends of professional wrestling. Hulk Hogan comes out limping from the back, along with Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels look as arrogant as ever when they come out to the ring. Piper taunts Hogan from his side of the ring and this forces Hogan to start the match with his long-time rival. Hogan shows that he still has his strength early on when he shoves Piper backward into a neutral corner. Hogan flexes and poses in the middle of the ring. Piper comes back over and pokes Hogan in the eye. Piper drags Hogan to his corner and tags in Michaels. They use some quick double-team moves before sending Hogan outside the ring. Michaels climbs to the top turnbuckle backwards and hits the Asai moonsault on Hogan outside the ring! Michaels poses over Hogan to boos from the crowd. The action returns inside the ring where Michaels and Piper continue to make frequent tags. The momentum shifts when Piper sends Hogan to the ropes and they hit a double clothesline, sending both men to the mat. Both men crawl to their corners and Piper tags in Michaels. Michaels rushes in but can't stop Hogan from tagging in The Macho Man! Randy Savage comes in, throwing punches to both Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper! In comes Randy Savage and we have all four men in the ring! Savage knocks Piper out of the ring with a clothesline that sends him through the ropes. Savage helps Hogan up and Hogan motions for Savage to head to the top turnbuckle. Savage obliges as Hogan grabs Michaels and holds his arms back. He helps Hogan up but Hogan shoves him backward! The two men exchange words off-microphone before Savage throws a punch! Hogan fires back and the two men begin brawling in the middle of the ring! Hogan blocks a Savage punch and throws three straight punches to Savage! Savage looks stunned but then kicks Hogan in his hurt knee! Savage body slams Hogan and then heads to the top turnbuckle. Miss Elizabeth looks shocked at this turn of events and tries to stand in between Savage and Hogan. Savage raises his arms in the air and then leaps -- Miss Elizabeth moves and Savage hits the Flying Elbow Drop on Hogan! Savage grabs the WCW World Heavyweight title belt and raises it up to a mix of boos and cheers. Miss Elizabeth tries to talk some sense into Savage but Savage bumps her with his shoulder and exits the ring. With 6,220 people in attendance, the crowd cheers as Rick Law makes his way down to the ring. The USPW General Manager steps inside and welcomes everyone to Puerto Rico and United States Pro Wrestling! Law hypes the show coming up tonight, including a main event where Steve Frehley faces Running Wolf for the number one contendership. He reminds everyone that USPW is pro-Puerto Rico and looking forward to putting on a great show for this country. Law plays the national anthem for the country of Puerto Rico before it gets interrupted. The interruption is the arrival of USPW World Champion Rich Money! The crowd boos the interruption of their anthem as he walks down to the ring and joins Rick Law. Law tells Money that he was not welcomed out here and that he is not welcomed to interrupt the national anthem. Money calls Puerto Rico a rundown country that's not worthy of the money it receives from the United States. He says that he has more money than the entire economy of Puerto Rico. Law reminds Money that these fans spent their hard-earned money to come out here and watch USPW, not hear some insults about their country. Money laughs and reminds everyone that he is the guy that took out Nicky Champion. He says he made sure that their hero wouldn't be here in Puerto Rico. Law tells Money that they will find out his opponent for Red, White And Blue tonight. With that in mind, someone else comes out from the back. Here comes Steve Frehley! The Dark Destroyer gets booed by the crowd as he walks down to the ring and steps inside. Frehley gets on the microphone and tells Rich Money and Rick Law that they need to shut up and listen because the fans here in Puerto Rico are chanting his name. A small 'Frehley' chant breaks out from the crowd. Frehley smiles and looks toward Money, telling him that he needs to keep that title warm because at the end of the month it's going to be around Frehley's waist. Money laughs and says that Frehley is just a gnat that will be swatted away by him or by Dusty Ducont in the future. Frehley gives a laugh and then grabs Money, lifting him up on his shoulders -- Frehley's Comet! Money is planted on the mat! Frehley grabs the USPW World title belt and holds it up for a moment before dropping it on the waist of Money. Frehley exits the ring and heads for the back. The ring gets cleared for the opening match. Match #1 Juliette King vs. Sara Marie The first match of the night features the Mama Bear Juliette King against Sara Marie. This is a continuation of the feud between the Triumverate and Sara Marie and Melody. The match is done to a hot crowd after what happened earlier tonight and is a back and forth contest. The former national-level bodybuilder King shows that she can definitely hang in the ring during this contest. She throws Sara Marie with a fallaway slam and scores a two count. She goes for her Vertical Suplex Drop early on but Sara Marie manages to land behind her instead. Sara Marie shows off her all-around skills on King, including a flying clothesline off the top rope that scores a two count. Marie takes down King again and then waits for her to get onto one knee. She rushes her and hits the Energy Burst, her version of the Glittering Magician Knee. Marie makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Sara Marie picks up the win at 12:30! Sara Marie p. Juliette King =62 Wolf Arrives Now, we are taken to a scene from earlier tonight. We know that it's from earlier tonight because there's a clock in the upper right-hand corner that shows the time. A convertible pulls up into the parking garage. The door is opened and out walks Running Wolf! The crowd cheers in the background as Wolf looks toward the camera. Wolf smiles and then heads for the building as the announcers hype his match tonight against Steve Frehley to determine the number one contender. Match #2 Kirk Jameson (w/Maryam Vega) vs. Regular Joe We go back to the ring for our second bout of the night. This one features the talented Marksman Kirk Jameson taking on Regular Joe, who made his pro debut here in Puerto Rico for FREEDOM Caribbean Wrestling. Joe does his best when it comes to brawling in this contest but the match is mostly a showcase for Kirk Jameson. The announcers tell us that Jameson's first big break in wrestling was also in Puerto Rico for FREEDOM Caribbean Wrestling. Jameson focuses on the right leg of Joe throughout the contest. The man who recently attacked Enygma takes advice from Maryam Vega and hits Joe with The Bullseye, a sit-out double underhook facebuster. But he's not done there. He grabs the right leg of Joe and locks in The Kirk-Hold, an elevated leg-lock. Joe is forced to submit! Kirk Jameson gets the win at 10:16! Kirk Jameson d. Regular Joe =56 Returning Next Week We go to a video featuring the home of the returning Jack Bruce. Bruce is shown seated on a white couch with a glass of lemonade seated on the endtable beside the couch. Bruce looks up at the camera and talks about returning to professional wrestling after retiring last year. He announces that he will have first match in USPW next week against a mystery opponent on American Wrestling. Then, he's set to face an old rival in Steve Frehley at Red, White And Blue. He says that he has always said that he's the best in the world at what he does and he says he's going to prove it here in USPW. Bruce says that, at Red, White And Blue, it's going to be the Ayatollah of Rock and Roll-a against The Dark Destroyer. He says that he is going to be the man that lays the smackdown on Frehley and leave nothing but a shattered ego and a broken spirit. Bruce says that, at the end of the night, Frehley can bring his millions and millions of fans but that Jack Bruce is going to be the one picking up the victory. Bruce takes a sip of lemonade and we go to the ring. Match #3 The Olympus Order vs. Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express Our next match is a six man tag team contest as The Olympus Order takes on Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express. The announcers talk about how The Olympus Order will take on Jacob Jett, Julius Moor and a mystery partner at Red, White And Blue. Also, Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express will take on The Cold Warriors and a mystery partner at Red, White And Blue. A lot of mystery surrounding the upcoming matches at Red, White And Blue. This match is the first hour main event and the crowd here in Puerto Rico are really behind the teaming of RDJ and The Texas Express. The match is a back and forth contest, with The Olympus Order really showing off their power and strength as they isolate Cooper Christie in their corner. Christie shows off his resilience in not allowing Zeus, Bash Street or Siale Valhalla to get the pin. Instead, he manages to make the hot tag to Ricky Dale Johnson! This leads to all six men getting involved in the match. With the referee distracted, Zeus hits a low blow on RDJ! Before he can get the pinfall, a 'DUDES' call-out comes over the speaker system! This distracts Zeus as James Justice comes out on a microphone. He announces that he will team with Jett & Moor at Red, White And Blue. Zeus yells at Justice from the ring and then turns around right into a Leaping Lariat from Ricky Dale Johnson! RDJ makes the cover: One...Two...Three! RDJ and The Texas Express get the win at 9:47! Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express p. The Olympus Order =68 Pulling Double Duty We go to the backstage area where we see Steve Frehley is standing by. The Dark Destroyer begins hyping the match with Running Wolf tonight. Frehley says that the millions (and millions) of The Dark Destroyer's fans are going to see him whup Wolf's candy ass tonight as Wolf goes one on one with The Dark Destroyer. Frehley says he was out there in the ring earlier and that the electricity was absolutely off the charts here in San Juan. He says that Wolf is a tough son of a gun but he's not electrifying. He says that tonight's match is about destiny and that destiny is for Steve Frehley to become the new number one contender. Then, he will go on to Red, White And Blue where he will pull double duty. He will face Jack Bruce and then he will take the USPW World title from Rich Money. He says he's going to lay the smack down on each and every one of them as they step in his way and try to stop him from fulfilling his destiny. Frehley says it begins tonight when Running Wolf can bring his war paint or his tomahawk or anything else he wants to bring but it won't be enough when he proves that Running Wolf just ain't nothin. Frehley raises an eyebrow and we go to the ring. Match #4 USPW National Title Match Jack Jackson defends vs. Enygma To begin the second hour, we have Jack Jackson defending the USPW National title against the veteran Enygma. Unfortunately, neither of these two men showed any chemistry in the ring with each other and it definitely hurt the match as it moved forward. Enygma takes control of the contest, showing his veteran leadership during the match. Enygma focuses on the ankle of Jackson. He even hits the Enygmagiri Kick but only gets a two count following his version of the enzuigiri kick. Enygma goes for the Enygma Variation but Jackson manages to kick him off. During this point, Kirk Jameson and Maryam Vega stroll down to the ringside area. They distract Enygma enough to give Jackson the advantage. Jackson hits a vertical suplex and then goes for the Implant DDT but Enygma blocks it and rolls Jackson right into the Enygma Variation! Before Jackson can tap, though, Jameson hits the ring and smashes Enygma with the title belt, causing the automatic DQ. Enygma d. Jack Jackson =61 National Title Craziness Kirk Jameson continues his assault of Enygma following the sounding of the bell. Jack Jackson gets to his feet and helps Jameson with the attack, including holding the arms of Enygma back while Jameson slaps him and then goes after the mask. As Jameson starts to get the mask undone, Roger Cage comes running out from the back! Cage comes into the ring and attacks both Jameson and Jackson, clearing the ring of the two bad guys! Jackson, though, left the National title belt in the ring due to his haste to run out. Enygma picks up the belt at the same time that the former champion Roger Cage does. The two men look at each other for a moment as both pull on the belt. Neither of them want to release the belt. After a moment, they both release the belt and start throwing punches! The brawl leads to Cage striking with the Cage Rage on Enygma! The Diving Reverse DDT plants Enygma on the mat. Cage picks up the title belt and holds it up before we go backstage. There Will Be A Rematch The backstage area we go to is the office of Rick Law. Law is seated behind a small desk shuffling papers before in walks Trent Shaffer and Raven Robinson. Law says that he expected the two of them to meet him with tonight. Shaffer says what he didn't expect was for Law to pick some large brute of a man and say that he's on the same level of talent as Shaffer. Shaffer says that DeBones is not on his level and that's why he left the match. Law says that he thinks that Shaffer left the match because he couldn't compete with DeBones. But he says that Shaffer will get the opportunity to prove that he can at Red, White And Blue. He says there's going to be a rematch but with the caveat that if Shaffer gets himself intentionally counted out or disqualified, he will be suspended for a month. Robinson yells that this isn't fair but Law just smiles and says that Robinson needs to focus on herself. He says that Robinson is going to be given a match next week on American Wrestling. He says he's sure that there's plenty of women wrestlers who will want to step in the ring with the veteran. Shaffer and Robinson are left with their jaws dropped and stewing before we go back to the ring. Match #5 Mick Muscles vs. Jimmy Chipolata Our next contest is done to a very hot crowd here in San Juan as former USPW World Champion Mick Muscles takes on the young upstart Jimmy Chipolata. Chipolata is an ultimate underdog and it shows as he fights from underneath when it comes to this match against Muscles. Muscles shows off his strength as the former bodybuilder hits a delayed vertical suplex on Chipolata. The 44 year old wrestler from Vermont is the clear showcase talent in this contest. The former six time USPW World Tag Team Champion dominates most of the match but Chipolata shows his resilence by not allowing himself to be pinned. Chipolata goes for the Flying Body Press but Muscles catches him. He quickly turns it into the Bulldozer Powerbomb, a double underhook powerbomb. Muscles stacks Chipolata on the mat: One...Two...Three! Mick Muscles picks up the win at 9:44! Mick Muscles p. Jimmy Chipolata =48 Prove That She's The Best We go to the backstage area once again where we see the number one contender to the USPW Women's title, Pariah. Pariah talks about her past working as an FBI agent where she had to infiltrate many different scenarios, including becoming a professional wrestler. She says that she worked hard to take down Richard Eisen but now she is working hard to take down the USPW Women's Champion Jaime Quine. She says that this might be the more difficult attempt as she respects Quine and what she's done in this business. But she chose to wrestle and now she is here to prove that she's the best in this contest. She says that in less than two weeks she becomes the new USPW Women's Champion. She says she knows she's an outsider in this company but she has the fans behind her and that's who she needs to help her become the USPW Women's Champion. Pariah poses and we go elsewhere backstage. Backstage Fight This elsewhere backstage is near the catering area where Joss Thompson and Casey Valentine are in the middle of a fight. Valentine grabs a nearby cake and smashes it in the face of Thompson to distract him and then picks him up and body slams him on the ground. Valentine has the crowd behind him but Thompson manages to rake his eyes. The Complete Package gets to his feet and takes down Valentine with a clothesline. Thompson puts a few stomps on Valentine and then picks him up and hits a powerbomb through a nearby table! Valentine is left down in the middle of the remains of the table. Security and officials finally make their way over to break things up but the damage has been done. Thompson smiles and poses, showing off his muscles. The crowd boos in the background but we are taken to the ring for our main event. Match #6 Number One Contender's Match Steve Frehley vs. Running Wolf The main event features two of the top wrestlers in USPW as The Dark Destroyer Steve Frehley takes on the popular Running Wolf. The superb match has a very hot crowd behind it as the two men immediately exchange punches in the middle of the ring. The fans in Puerto Rico are split between the two wrestlers, cheering for the moves of both superstars. Frehley gains the advantage and lifts Wolf up into a suplex position. He twists so that Wolf is facing the opposite way and then throws Wolf across the ring like a rag doll in the Frehley Suplex Throw! Frehley makes an early cover but only scores a one and a half count. Frehley argues with the referee briefly before returning his attention to Wolf. That one moment gives Wolf the chance to recover and Wolf catches Frehley with a swift kick to the stomach and fights his way up. Wolf takes down Frehley with a running blockbuster before heading to the top turnbuckle. Wolf leaps and catches Frehley with a leg drop bulldog! Wolf makes the cover: One...Two...Kickout! Wolf goes for an early Wolf Tamer but Frehley rakes the face of Wolf to block the hold. Frehley lands on his feet and hits Wolf with the Pumphandle Backbreaker. Frehley makes the cover: One...Two...Kickout! As the match moves on, the fans seem more on the side of Running Wolf as he plays the underdog in this contest. Steve Frehley continues the advantage, taking down Wolf and then moving into the corner. He waits for Wolf to get to his feet. As Wolf is pulling himself up, Jack Bruce's music begins to play. Steve Frehley turns his attention from Wolf to the ramp, waiting to see Frehley's rival come from the back but no one comes out. This distraction, though, allows Running Wolf to make it to his feet. Frehley turns his attention back to Wolf and goes for the Dark Destroyer Spear but Wolf leaps over it and Frehley hits his shoulder against the ring post through the turnbuckle. Wolf pulls Frehley from the turnbuckle and hits a spinebuster in the middle of the ring. Wolf bounces off the ropes, rubs his fist and then hits a fist-drop known as the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Wolf picks up Frehley onto his shoulders -- Wolf Tamer! The Fireman's Carry Slam plants Frehley in the middle of the ring. Wolf makes the cover, hooking the leg: One...Two...Three! Running Wolf advances to face Rich Money for the USPW World title at Red, White And Blue in 12:53! Running Wolf p. Steve Frehley =79 Destruction Of A Vehicle Running Wolf picks up the victory and stands up, getting his arm raised by referee Robbie Sanchez. The crowd cheers for Wolf as he plays into the crowd here in Puerto Rico. The big screen, though, lights up to show the convertible that Running Wolf arrived in earlier tonight. Wolf looks a little confused in the ring until the sound of beeping can be heard. The camera pans out to reveal a cement truck backing up toward the convertible with Rich Money standing by the truck. Money tells the driver to dump the cement into the vehicle! Wolf looks angered in the ring, kicking the ropes and yelling for Money not to do it! Money laughs and gives the driver some more money before telling him to do it and the cement is poured inside the convertible! The crowd boos as Running Wolf leaves the ring and rushes toward the back. The cameras follow Running Wolf as he runs through the backstage area. Wolf makes it to his vehicle and the vehicle is absolutely destroyed with the cement. The cement truck and Rich Money are nowhere to be seen at this point. Wolf kicks the side of the vehicle in anger and yells at the camera that he's going to get his revenge. As Wolf looks at his car, the credits begin to roll for this week's edition of American Wrestling. We'll see you next week!
  21. Hey knkmaster69, Always great to see you here. Thanks for the predictions and the comments. Kirk Jameson is definitely someone who can be pushed to be an 'Arn Anderson' type. He might not be at the very top of the promotion but he can put on a good match with nearly anyone. The injury with Nicky Champion is real, unfortunately. He will be gone until April so I had to have a way to push forward without him. Luckily, I had made those signings of Jack Bruce, RDJ and Skull DeBones to add star power. The way I see it is that if USPW had the opportunity to get these wrestlers, why wouldn't they? I know I would spend the money to bring in their star power even if Champion hadn't gotten hurt. Hey Charasmatic Enigma, Thanks for the predictions and comments. Always great to see you here. Enygma actually hasn't put in for retirement yet. Though, I imagine it will be just a matter of time. But he is a good hand to work with some of my younger guys like Jack Jackson. Losing Nicky Champion was definitely a huge blow, especially heading into the Puerto Rico show. He's out until April, unfortunately. Having Skull DeBones show up was definitely a help when losing another top guy. As far as the interactions between the SWF guys go? Well, we're already seeing that with Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley. It's definitely something that could happen in the future. Hey alliegolem, Thanks for the predictions and comments. Glad to see that someone else is enjoying the Jack Jackson LA Knight style. LA Knight/Eli Drake is one of my favorite wrestlers going today. Just hope my writing is doing him justice. Hey Wrestling Machine, Great to see you here with the predictions and getting caught up. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

  24. Sunday Week 4 October 1995 WCW Halloween Havoc Location: Greensboro Coliseum (Mid Atlantic) Attendance: 30,000 Overall Rating: 86 PPV Buyrate: 4.64 Top Picks WCW Halloween Havoc kicks off here in the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. The show is sold out and the fans are on their feet as pyro explodes. To the sounds of their respective show's entrance themes, Tony Schiavone and Eric Bischoff both walk out to podiums at the top of the ramp. Schiavone begins by welcoming everyone to Halloween Havoc. He talks about how history will be made in and out of the ring tonight. Bischoff agrees, saying that tonight marks the beginning of a new era for WCW. He reminds everyone that Tony and himself are here to announce the first round draft selections for the WCW brand split between Saturday Night and Monday Nitro. Schiavone speaks up, saying that Saturday Night has the first selection and that he put a lot of thought and effort into this first selection. He decided to choose a man whose name is synonymous with WCW. This man is a former WCW World Heavyweight Champion and former WCW United States Champion. This man is a legend, an icon and a cornerstone of this promotion. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Sting! Schiavone smiles widely at his selection and we are taken to a video hyping Sting. Following the video, the attention turns to Eric Bischoff. Bischoff says that was not bad for a first pick. But now it's time for Monday Nitro to make it's mark. He says that he made the decision to look to the past, present and future to make the first selection for Nitro. With that in mind, his selection are two of the biggest names in professional wrestling. Those two names are Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels! As soon as they are announced, they both walk out from the back and join Eric Bischoff at the podium. Piper walks over to Tony Schiavone, smiles and adjusts his tie before walking over to join Bischoff and Michaels. Michaels smiles and says that tonight is just the beginning of their dominance on Monday Nitro. He says that the main event and the icon are here. Piper says that they are the top dogs in the yard and they will prove it in just a few moments. Michaels reminds everyone that beginning tomorrow night Monday Nitro will be must-see tv. Michaels and Piper walk off, heading to the ring for our opening bout. Match #1 Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels vs. Sting and Warrior Our first match here at Halloween Havoc 1995 features Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels against Sting and Warrior. All four men are icons of the sport but the announcers talk about the fact that Sting is wrestling with chronic migraines. The match kicks off with Warrior and Michaels in the ring. They exchange some quick strikes, including Warrior clotheslining Michaels over the top rope. Michaels skins the cat, pulling himself back in over the top rope before charging at Warrior and throwing him through the ropes. Michaels poses in the ring before Warrior joins him again. As the match moves forward, Michaels and Piper show off their undeniable chemistry in the ring together. They isolate Warrior in their corner and keep him in the ring, leaving Sting waiting on the apron for a big tag. Michaels hits Warrior with a flying elbow drop and makes the cover: One...Two...Kickout! The crowd gets solidly behind Warrior and he gets fired up, shaking the ropes and turning on that trademark intensity. Warrior manages to get control and tag in Sting. Sting comes in with clotheslines for both Piper and Michaels. Sting lifts Piper and slams him with a press slam! Sting goes after Michaels and sends him in the corner, climbing up and raining ten punches down on him. He sends Michaels to the opposite side and then hesitates, grabbing his head for a moment and shaking it. Warrior and Piper do battle outside the ring as Sting recovers and then rushes in for a Stinger Splash. Sting leaps but Michaels moves and Sting hits the ring post! Michaels rolls up Sting, placing his feet on the ropes for leverage: One...Two...Three! Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper get the win at 15:37! Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels p. Sting and Warrior =71 Rounds 2 And 3 We go from there to the backstage area where Dusty Rhodes is standing by. He talks about how the stakes are high tonight and he is ready to make the second round pick for WCW Saturday Night. He says that he has a long history with this group but knows they will make Saturday Night even better. He introduces to this backstage area, the Horsemen unit of Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman! Rhodes asks Flair about his match tonight with Randy Savage, saying he has a chance to go to the pay winda tonight. Flair says that Dusty Rhodes knows about him being the man. He says that tonight is just another chance to prove that. Flair says that he's going to go through Randy Savage and head to World War 3 and beat Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight title. Flair asks Miss Elizabeth if she wants to be with a real man tonight. He releases a Whoo and then we go to another backstage area. This other backstage area has Bobby Heenan standing by. The Brain says that Monday Nitro is about to make a pick that will send shockwaves through the industry. He says that their selection is the other man in the main event tonight, Macho Man Randy Savage along with Miss Elizabeth. Savage and Elizabeth step up to Heenan. Heenan looks at Savage and tells him that he has one job tonight and that is to beat Ric Flair and bring the main event match to Monday Nitro. Heenan tells Savage that if he doesn't win that match, then that makes him like these humanoids in the crowd, a loser. He tells Savage not to disappoint Monday Nitro tonight. Savage looks like he might hit Heenan but Elizabeth calms him down and the two walk out. We go back to Dusty Rhodes and he says it's time for round 3 of the draft. He says that for the next pick of the draft that Saturday Night selects the WCW United States Champion The Giant! A video begins to play showcasing highlights of The Giant here in WCW. It shows The Giant defeating Sting for the WCW United States title and a voiceover talks about him defending that title later on tonight against Jim Duggan. From there, we go to Bobby Heenan once again. The Brain says that WCW Saturday Night might have added the WCW United States Champion but that WCW Monday Nitro is adding a powerhouse to their roster. Heenan says that they have added the WCW World Television Champion Diamond Dallas Page, along with the Diamond Doll and Maxx Muscle. The three of them walk up and DDP shakes hands with Heenan before taking the microphone. DDP says you're looking at the best damn wrestler in WCW today. He says that with the power of the Diamond Cutter behind him, there's nobody on Monday Nitro or any other night that can stop him. He says that Nitro is going to shine like a diamond because everyone there is going to feel the bang! DDP makes the diamond symbol. Doll and Muscle stand to either side of him and Heenan sends us to the ring. Match #2 The Funks vs. American Males Our second match of the night is the return of The Funks, Terry Funk and Dory Funk, Jr. Across the ring from them stand the American Males, Marcus Bagwell and Scotty Riggs. This is definitely a generational battle as the two veteran brothers take on the young upstarts. As the match progresses, it is obvious that the veteran experience of the Funks takes things over. In the closing moments of the match, Dory Funk, Jr. locks Scotty Riggs in the patented Spinning Toe Hold. With nowhere to escape, Riggs is forced to submit. The Funks win the match at 10:26! The Funks d. American Males =50 Rounds 4 and 5 It's backstage time once again. This time, we see Gene Okerlund representing WCW Saturday Night. He says the Road Warriors may be tough but they are tougher. Scott says that they are from Michigan and that's all you need to know about their toughness. Rick barks a few times and we elsewhere backstage where Steve McMichael is standing by. Mongo says to the Nitro fans that's time to choose another pick for WCW Monday Nitro. He says that their selection is the one warrior nation himself, Warrior! McMichael sends us to a video highlighting the time that Warrior has spent here. Following that video, we are taken back to Gene Okerlund. Mean Gene says it's time for round five of the draft. He says that WCW Saturday Night is selecting the legendary tag team of The Rock 'N' Roll Express! Okerlund sends us to a video highlighting the Rock 'N' Roll Express and their tenure here in WCW. Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson are shown in the video winning the NWA World Tag Team titles from The Russians. From there, we go back to Steve McMichael. Mongo says that WCW Monday Nitro is getting a legendary tag team themselves. This tag team features two tough guys from Chicago and their just as badass manager. Here are the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering. Ellering talks up the Road Warriors as the toughest tag team in WCW history. He talks about how smart they are now that they are led by the smartest man in the business. Hawk tells them that they snack on danger and dine on death. Animal says that they are the baddest tag team in the business and that the Steiner Brothers are going to go down. With that, McMichael sends us to the ring. Match #3 WCW United States Title Match The Giant (w/The Taskmaster) defends vs. Jim Duggan The third match of the night is the match for the WCW United States Championship as The Giant, along with The Taskmaster, takes on the veteran Jim Duggan. The Giant has been selected by WCW Saturday Night and Jim Duggan has yet to be selected in the draft. The hard-hitting match starts with Duggan going right after The Giant with hard clubbing blows. The Taskmaster tries to distract Duggan and Duggan exits the ring, grabbing his 2X4. He chases The Taskmaster around the ringside area before catching him and hitting him in the gut and then the back with the 2X4. The Giant reaches outside the ring and pulls Duggan in, showcasing his awesome power. Even with The Taskmaster down and out, The Giant is mostly dominant in this contest. The Giant hits Duggan with big body slams and some back elbow smashes in the corner. The Giant finally finishes this match when he grabs Duggan by the throat, lifts him up and brings him down hard with the Choke Slam! The Giant makes the cover: One...Two...Three! The Giant successfully defends the WCW United States title at 8:08! The Giant p. Jim Duggan =74 Rounds 6 and 7 It's time for that backstage area and round six of the brand split draft! Tony Schiavone is back there and talks about the history of WCW Saturday Night. He talks about how Saturday Night has been the main show on TBS since it started. Schiavone makes the announcement that the next draft pick for Saturday Night has a huge and long history with WCW. He is a man who recently made his return to WCW and that man is Ricky The Dragon Steamboat. Schiavone sends us to a video package with a history of Steamboat in WCW, including his big wins over wrestlers like Ric Flair, Steve Austin, Greg Valentine, Harley Race and more. With that being done, we are taken to Eric Bischoff, who says that WCW Saturday Night is the past. He says that WCW Monday Nitro is the present and the future of WCW. With an eye toward the present, he announces that Monday Nitro is selecting the group known as the Varsity Club! Mike Rotunda, Steve Williams and Terry Gordy move in to stand beside Bischoff. Bischoff asks them about their match with The Horsemen tonight. Rotunda says he can speak for these two men when he says that they are looking forward to getting revenge after what happened this past Monday night on Nitro. Rotunda reminds them that the Varsity Club is the best group of wrestlers in this business and they will prove it tonight. Back to Tony Schiavone, who says that Bischoff made an interesting pick but he thinks that The Horsemen will be ones standing tall tonight in that tag team bout. Schiavone says that he believes that this next draft pick for WCW Saturday Night will definitely put butts in the seats when it comes to WCW Saturday Night. This man is a man who needs no introduction. He is a man who will put his body on the line each and every night for the enjoyment of the fans. This is the WCW return of the hardcore icon known as Cactus Jack! Schiavone sends us to a video of highlights of Cactus Jack's career here in WCW. His legendary battles with Vader are shown, in particular. Following that video, we go to Eric Bischoff. Bischoff smirks and says that someone like Jack will never put butts in the seats. But the WCW Monday Nitro selection will definitely do just that. He says that they are adding real star power to their roster. He announces the addition of 'Superstar' Steve Austin to the Monday Nitro roster! Bischoff reminds the fans about what Austin has been doing lately. We are taken to a video package of Austin, focusing on his return, including his attack on Psicosis and Scott Armstrong. Who Would You Rather Face? We go to a third area backstage where Mark Madden is standing by with the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan. Madden says that it is an honor to be here with the World Champion. Madden asks Hogan about the match tonight in our main event. He asks Hogan who he would rather face: Randy Savage or Ric Flair? Before Hogan can answer, though, Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper walk onto the scene! Michaels raises a hand and tells Hogan to 'Hold up, brother.' He says that Hogan better worry less about Savage and Flair and worry more about him and the Hot Rod. Michaels announces that the main event for Monday Nitro has been booked. It will be Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper against Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage! Michaels reminds Hogan that he is always the main event. Michaels steps to Hogan and slaps him. Hogan's jaw clenches and his fists clench. Roddy Piper steps in between Michaels and Hogan, smiling. Madden calls for help and security steps in, keeping the wrestlers separated but they won't be separated tomorrow night on Nitro! Match #4 Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman vs. Miracle Violence Connection (w/Mike Rotunda) Our fourth match of the night features The Horsemen taking on the Varsity Club. Eric Bischoff reminds the fans that The Horsemen have been drafted by WCW Saturday Night and The Varsity Club have been drafted by Monday Nitro. The action itself is pretty hard-hitting. The bout has great heat and good wrestling. Pillman speeds things up when he's in the ring, showcasing his talent, including hitting a somersault senton off the top turnbuckle on Dr. Death! Rotunda works to get his tag team back into things and they use their size advantage on both Anderson and Pillman. As the match reaches the climax, all four men do battle inside the ring. Pillman hits Terry Gordy with a flying cross body sending both of them out of the ring. Steve Williams grabs Arn Anderson and hits the Oklahoma Stampede! Williams makes the cover, hooking the leg: One...Two...Three! Miracle Violence Connection pick up the win at 20:07! Miracle Violence Connection p. Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman =75 Round 8 It's time for round eight of the brand split draft! We go backstage where the American Dream Dusty Rhodes is standing by. This is the man they call the mastadon. This is the man they call Vader! Rhodes sends us to a video of Vader's biggest hits, including injuring Joe Thurman and Cactus Jack, beating men like Sting, Ricky Steamboat and Davey Boy Smith and more. From there, we go to the other area backstage where Bobby Heenan is standing by. The Brain says that he heard that WCW Saturday Night was bringing back Vader. He calls Vader a has-been and says that the next wrestler on WCW Monday Nitro is a man who has proven that he can beat Vader. He is a former All-American at Florida State University. He is Ron Simmons! Heenan sends us to a video of Ron Simmon's greatest moments. The first moment is Ron Simmons defeating Vader for the WCW World Heavyweight title. Simmons in Doom is shown. Simmons beating The Barbarian is shown. Match #5 Road Warriors (w/Paul Ellering) vs. Steiner Brothers Our fifth match of the night is a match where two teams are looking to settle things as to who is the top tag team. On one side, we have the badass Chicago tag team Road Warriors along with their manager Paul Ellering. On the other side, we have the University of Michigan alums The Steiner Brothers. As the bell rings on this match, all four men do battle in the ring with Scott battling Animal and Rick battling Hawk. Hawk uses some speed and takes down Rick with a leaping shoulderblock. Scott shows his technical skill by throwing Animal overhead with a belly-to-belly suplex! Scott sends Animal over the top rope with a Steinerline, leaving Hawk in the ring with both Steiner Brothers. Rick grabs Hawk from behind and Scott hits a Steinerline, sending Hawk over with a German suplex, no bridge, all impact! Hawk rolls out to recover with Animal and Paul Ellering. Rick runs around the ring barking before dropping on all fours. Scott stands over him in the Steiner pose. The Road Warriors, though, quickly regroup and regain the advantage following a little distraction by Paul Ellering. Rick Steiner is isolated in the corner of the Road Warriors. Animal and Hawk use frequent tags to keep the fresh man in the ring. Hawk goes for a flying cross body but Rick manages to duck down and both men are down. Rick crawls toward the corner and manages to tag in his brother. Animal tags in Hawk. Scott comes in like a house on fire. He hits both Animal and Hawk with Steinerlines! He hits the Steiner Flatliner on Hawk! Rick manages to come in and takes down Animal, knocking him out of the ring. Scott grabs Hawk and lifts him up on his shoulders in an electric chair position as Rick heads to the top turnbuckle. Rick leaps and the Steiner Brothers hit the Steiner Bulldog! Scott makes the cover: One...Two...Three! The Steiner Brothers have picked up a huge win at 21:54! Steiner Brothers p. Road Warriors =79 Round 9 It's time for round nine of the ten round brand split draft. Gene Okerlund is backstage and talks about WCW Saturday Night, hyping the show up and reminding everyone to tune in this Saturday on TBS, the SuperStation! He says they won't want to miss the next selection for WCW Saturday Night. That selection is the tag team known as Harlem Heat, Booker T and Stevie Ray! A highlight video is shown of Harlem Heat, showcasing them as two time WCW World Tag Team Champions. They won the titles from Stars and Stripes and the Nasty Boys. They've also beaten tag teams like the Blue Bloods and The Stud Stable. From there, we go to Steve McMichael in that second area backstage. Mongo says that Monday Nitro is all about the future and that is why they made this next draft pick. This next draft pick is all about the future of tag team wrestling. While this team hasn't won any titles yet, they are just getting started. The brand new tag team here on WCW Monday Nitro is the team of Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy, the Hardy Boys. This is along with their new manager Teddy Long. Some highlights of the Hardy Boys wrestling at house shows and in pre-show matches are shown. Match #6 WCW World Tag Team Titles Match Lex Luger and Barry Windham defend vs. The Powers of Pain Our penultimate match is a match that was just recently made as Lex Luger and Barry Windham defend the WCW World Tag Team titles against The Powers of Pain. Luger and Windham have been having a few issues lately, stemming from when Ric Flair invited Barry Windham to go out partying with him. But they need to be on the same page as The Powers of Pain are definitely on the same page, showcasing a tag team chemistry in the ring. The Warlord and The Barbarian isolate Lex Luger during the bout, keeping him in their corner and wearing down the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Luger tries to break free a few times and one time he makes it to the corner but the referee is with The Barbarian and doesn't see the tag! This leaves Luger in the ring and a double headbutt scores a two count. The momentum swings when The Barbarian and The Warlord go for a double vertical suplex that gets blocked by the strength of The Total Package! Luger throws some haymakers and a double clothesline and then manages to get to the corner and tag in Barry Windham! Windham comes in like a house on fire, throwing punches to both The Barbarian and The Warlord! He helps Luger up and they go right at The Powers of Pain! Windham takes down The Barbarian with a vertical suplex and then a swinging neckbreaker. Luger takes down The Warlord with a scoop powerslam! Windham waits on The Barbarian to get up and smashes into him with the Flying Lariat! Windham makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Lex Luger and Barry Windham successfully defend the WCW World Tag Team titles at 16:11! Lex Luger and Barry Windham p. The Powers of Pain =76 Round 10 It's time for the final round of the brand split draft. We go backstage where Tony Schiavone is standing by. Schiavone discusses that this is the final pick and reminds us that any wrestlers not selected tonight will be automatically assigned a brand at random. Schiavone says that WCW Saturday Night decided to use this last pick on a veteran tag team. These men may not be the best technical wrestlers but they can get it done in a fight. In round ten, WCW Saturday Night selects the Nasty Boys, Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags! A video showcasing highlights of the Nasty Boys is shown. Some of their wild antics and best matches are shown in this video. From there, we go to Eric Bischoff, who is standing by to make the final pick for WCW Monday Nitro. He says that the final pick is another pick that is made to look toward the future of the wrestling industry and specifically the future of the tag team division. He says that he is proud to bring two rising stars with unlimited potential to WCW Monday Nitro in Christian Cage and Sexton Hardcastle! A short highlight video of Cage and Hardcastle here in WCW is shown. They are shown wrestling the American Males twice on Nitro, including a victory. Match #7 #1 Contender's Match Ric Flair (w/Arn Anderson) vs. Randy Savage (w/Miss Elizabeth) It is time for the main event contest of the night as Ric Flair, accompanied to the ring by The Enforcer Arn Anderson, takes on Randy Savage, accompanied by the lovely Miss Elizabeth. This match features WCW Saturday Night in Flair against WCW Monday Nitro in Savage. Only one man can become the new number one contender and face Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight title at World War 3. As soon as the bell sounds, the two men circle each other and then lock up. Flair quickly grabs a headlock and Savage backs to the ropes before shooting Flair across. Flair comes back, ducking his head down and Savage does a leapfrog. Flair stops himself behind Savage so that when Savage turns, he laves Savage's chest with a knife-edge chop! Flair does a strut and releases a 'Whoo' that is echoed back by some of the fans in attendance. Flair yells out to Elizabeth that he'll give her another shot sometime. 25. Update: Thank you to everyone who has made predictions so far. I thought I would throw in an update on what's going on in my life. On Sunday February 18, 2024 and Tuesday February 20, 2024, I went to the emergency room due to a kidney stone. On Tuesday February 27, 2024, I went in for surgery. I had to have lithotripsy done with them lasering out a kidney stone and then placing a stent in my ureter. Since then, I have been under painkillers and a heating pad every single day. I have surgery one week from today to have the stent removed. Needless to say, I haven't been one hundred percent focused when it comes to diary writing. I did manage to get a show done for my USPW diary in this time but that is significantly less than writing up a major pay-per-view event. I just don't want to disappoint so many readers, but I can promise that I am working on both diaries. I will have the shows up when I can, but I cannot promise any specific time frame. Thank you for your patience and understanding. While there's some time, I wanted to throw in a little game here if anyone wants to play. I wanted to know about any dream matches anyone has from this era of time, either with the wrestlers you've seen on my roster or wrestlers from around the world. Feel free to throw some in and, maybe, one day you'll see them in this diary.
