  1. You're right, xbox or windows. Sorry, got mixed up where i played that one. No matter there are a lot of great indie games on Switch, mine has pretty much just become an indie game machine.
  2. Game is too much fun. On a similar note, since open world can be intimidating try playing some other indie games with an old school feel. Hollow Knight, Celeste, Hades, Dead Cells, Enter the Gungeon, Battle Toads, and Hades (I know I listed it twice).
  3. I wouldn't worry too much about that tbh. I still vote Destiny first thing day 1 of each game, mostly as a long running joke. We've yet to eliminate Destiny over it, although the one time I really pushed him on it day 1 we should have lol. Honestly, it's become much more of an issue for me than Destiny because now people watch to see if I actually push Destiny or drop it too soon. Also new people come in and think I'm trigger happy scum and use it later in the game to push me. It's honestly been more trouble than it's worth.

  5. One poll conducted by the Washington Post to be published in the Washington Post is interesting on face value. However, I put more stock into vetted research that is published in Academic journals such as this study here The reason I put more stock in the actual academic research is that they actually do look at how various constructs such as age, political affiliation, and most importantly on this issue, how a sense of cultural identity effects their participants feelings on this issue. In contrast the Washington Post merely conducting a phone survey with Self-Identified Native Americans in their "study" (seriously a 3 point Scale was used in the WP survey; embarrassing for a topic such as this). The Berkeley study actually explored feelings toward the team name "Washington Redskins" and the general use of Native Mascots. Suffice to say in the Berkeley study they found that Native Americans were significantly more likely to be offended by the name then be not offended. 49% as opposed to 38% (the other 13% were on the fence and thus not placed in either the offended or not offended category). That is a vast difference from the Washington post survey which claims that 90% of Native Americans are not offended. Breaking it down further individuals who had a strong sense of identity centrality (ie. they identified strongly with being native american and in most cases partook in tribal custom and culture as being Native American was central to their sense of self) were even more significantly offended by the name Washington Redskins. I can't give you clean % for your comparison just know that the B or (rate of change) measurement in the regression analysis conducted showed a rate of .07 for those who merely met the legal criteria to be classified as Native American while those who actively engaged in customs and tribal activities showed a B of .3. So there is a significantly stronger association with Offense to the Washington Redskins name among those with a stronger central identity of Native American. Basically those who strongly identified with being Native American were much more likely to be offended by the Washington Redskins name than were those who fit the Legal Criteria to be classified as Native American yet participated in no tribal customs or activity. So please, take these non-academic, non-vetted, surveys with a huge grain of salt. They are not showing you the thoughts and feelings of those who actually strongly identify as Native American and instead take a blanket approach to show you how those who "self-identify" as Native American feel, regardless of their connection to that identity to begin with.

When I lived alone I've had periods of several days, almost a week where I didn't say a single word to anyone <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><strong>But yeah, these past few months have been incredible, one of the best times of my life</strong>, and I know it's very different from other people's experience. I've been keeping quiet about it since I know how hard this is for some people but for me, it's been amazing. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I knew I wasn't the only one who could say this. I myself am extremely introverted as well and, being completely honest, I'm pretty socially awkward too. I'm married with kids, all of whom are extroverts, my wife being the complete opposite of myself in that regard. Needless to say our schedule is usually filled with various activities and social engagements where I'm expected to at least make small talk with people. I hate it, but when everyone else goes to sleep I get my time to decompress and the solitude I quite frankly need everyday. </p><p> </p><p> Anyway, the fact that we have no expectations to be out with people has been such a freeing experience for me. I've never been more comfortable in my life. It feels nice to actually admit this tbh, and I know it's a bit selfish to be enjoying this so much as the kids are missing out on their activities and having their own difficulties being separated from their friends. So, I have not let on just how easily I'm handling this. </p><p> </p><p> I've also slowly been watching this whole situation break my wife down. She needs social interaction just as much as I need a period of solitude each day; so it has been a nightmare for her. I've just been supporting her and doing a lot of driving around to find new hiking trails and beaches to visit to at least satisfy her need for travel and exploration. And I make sure I don't cringe when she she starts making plans for all the things we are going to do once this is over, (so. many. plans.) lol.</p>
  7. Citizen Kane was technically so far ahead of it's time that it's influences are still found in cinema today. In fact you list Godfather I and II, as well as Raiders of the Last Ark in your top 20. I can pinpoint exact influences and references to Kane in just those 3 movies. But to each their own if you didn't dig the actual narrative, I guess. I'll leave you alone on Empire lol
  8. Seems fun. 1. Empire Strikes Back 2. Dawn of the Dead (1978) 3. Goodfellas 4. Kill Bill Vol 1 5. Raiders of the Lost Ark 6. Suspiria (1977) 7. Halloween (1978) 8. Blade Runner 9. Aliens 10. Evil Dead 2 11. Amelie 12. A New Hope 13. Nightmare on Elm Street 1 and 3 (they are tied for me and my preference for either swings back and forth constantly) 14. Big Lebowski 15. The Fifth Element 16. Die Hard 17. Mad Max: Fury Road 18. The Thing (1982) 19. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 20. Destroy All Monsters That was hard. I definitely skew Sci-Fi and Horror. I'm sure if I thought longer on it I'd have some sliding in and out but seems good.
  9. Sucks, my role manipulation could have helped in the late game. I didn't even get to use it.
  10. /in Just don't vig me if I can't be as active as usual mmmkay.
  11. I'm not inclined to believe DJ much at all right now. Does a Templar seem to fit the naming convention of Ellin's Grove aligned players? They all seem to be simple townsfolk. A Templar sounds like they should be something different.
  12. Should be a fun game. Let's see..... Vote: BHK1978 Who were you meeting with in that back room?

  15. Lol quoted the wrong post. But accusing mot of rushing the Lynch is laughable
  16. You really trying to paint MoT as scum? Really? Vote: Bluestar

  18. Sorry I was absent. My wife's youth theater had their shows this weekend. I build sets and run the stage crew so busy weekend.
  19. I feel like we're in a good spot so taking a shot on who we think is zoom and getting rid of a bus driver is a risk I'm actually willing to take
  20. Was hoping someone like show would push something on him and his friends might join in. Show started to buy stopped
  21. I'm at this point myself but there is far too much of people forgetting who they targeted each night for my liking. @Libby, any answer as to who you would vote on today.
