  1. Don't worry about that. English isn't my first language either and I've had readers in the past for my short lived diaries. Focus on telling a good story and no one will care about any syntax error you might make.
  2. Don't have anything bad to say about Shaemus in-ring work, but his character might need some love. One or two layers to be added to the existing character should do it, just something to keep things fresh. We all get he's Irish, loves to fight and a good pint, but there's so much so you can do with that.
  3. CM Punk was never going to walk out of the company, but at least, they could have create the illusion of it. The illusion was never there for me, it felt just like any other storyline. Basically, I'd say that they, once again, rushed a potentiel good story. Worst for them : the short term pay off wasn't even that great! Punk came back too quickly, it didn't fit the persona, it was an too rapid evolution.
  4. Honestly, CM Punk rebel persona died for me the minute he came out on RAW the next after MitB. It was a flaw in the logic of his persona so big for me that it could never be recevored. So I kinda find it funny when people talk about Punk-the-rebel as I don't believe he's been in that role for months. He does have a set of beliefs and principles he follows every week, but being rebellous (sp?) is not one of them. Punk could have been bigger by now with different booking decisions, but I can't say he's being faded out either. He's still hanging with the key players, having valuable air time and an integrated part of the main storyline. On to something else now. I still don't get the buzz around Mason Ryan. He still looks like a poor version of Batista to me, which is really not a good thing. Quick question : wasn't the Big Show a RAW member before his injury ? They are confusing the hell out of me with the rosters...
  5. Daniel Bryan only has to start winning around January or even February. Everything before that moment is not relevent coming to the actual cash-in at Wrestlemania. He doesn't even have to win decisely by that time either, he could be lucky and/or barely beating people and it would still paint him as underdog which I think is they way they are going. If Bryan wins the title at WM, it's going to be the feel good story of an underdog, just like Mysterio's win a couple years ago.
  6. That's what I was thinking last weeek during my long walks back home. Even before this week RAW, I thought CM Punk vs HHH at Wrestlemania seemed too far down the road, but HHH vs Vince for the control of the company looks more probable. I don't believe John Laurianitis is acting on his own, he's just a puppet probably of Vince. Just with that, they can run the story for a good time. Add in Stephanie at some point to add some length, especially when it is revealed that Vince is behind all this. Build the match at WM around who's side Steph is going to take, hell even make it seems she has choosen her dad early in 2012 only to turn on him at Wrestlemania. HHH wins, Stephanie is with him, happy couple for the reminder of 2012. That was all in my thinking about WM 2012 which even includes a feel good story about Daniel Bryan winning the World Title against all odds. I mean, if they are goint to put the strap on him, why not making him the ultimate underdog who finally triumph on the big stage ?
  7. ADR is not going to lose the belt soon. There's a tour in Mexico in October and they are dying to go back there with him as a champion. It would give him a 3-4 months reign which is really good for a first time. As for Punk not being able to hit the GTS on Nash... Well, for me, the move has zero credibilty in the first place anyway. A lot of WWE wrestlers are bigger and/or taller than Punk, so he has trouble to a) lift them b) hitting them with his knee before their feet touch the ground. He really needs something for bigger opponents, but that's just my opinion.
  8. It's not wrestling related, feel free to skip this. I'm looking at the page count of this tread and I'm suddenly wondering if we will break something when we will reach the 1000th page
  9. I'm not sur I would say that CM Punk is a heel though. Since MITB, he has tone down a lot of his antics and he's actually looking for crowd support. It feels to me he's more like a rebelish face at the moment and judging by crowd reaction, I'm not the only feeling that way.
  10. That's a theory. It could also be a lot simple : ADR paid Nash to hurt whoever would be champion at this time. I mean, Del Rio brags about his money all the time, sometimes, the guy has to use some of it !
  11. Coming off the PPV, my main is thought : Kevin... freaking... Nash... what the hell was that ? I mean, Del Rio cashing in on the winner of the main event had a good probability of occuring and I don't mind it, but what the hell was Nash doing there ? That was really out of nowhere and we can only hope we will have a good explanation, not just some random crap. As for the rest of the night, it was average. Too much things I didn't care about to begin with. It was a two matchs event for me on paper (okay I'm lying, I was looking forward to Sheamus vs Henry too) and it still feels that way at this time. I was somewhat impressed with the Divas match though. It's was surprisingly a better match than the usual ones.
  12. *wave hand in a Jedi-like fashion* There never was a Annonymous GM for RAW.
  13. Well, that was a disapointing RAW for me since a) I don't like Jim Ross b) I don't like Rey c) where was the anynomous GM again ? d) they rushed the Punk storyline. On the plus side though, I have to agree that the matchs were pretty good and that seeing Zack Ryder made my day. That guy will never be a world champion, but if Santino can make a career by acting goofy, why not Ryder ? I'm trying to keep an open mind for the Punk storyline, but it's getting harder. Maybe they can win me back with a strong reasoning as to why he's back so quick. They will probably need another surprising twist to keep this going for some time and that's the disapointing to me. It feels like they are rushing a 6 months feud into 2 or 3 months. Oh and I don't remember who asked, but yeah, that will count as a title reign for Rey. That shouldn't in my opinion, but if they can call Dolph Ziggler a world champion when he hold the belt for like an hour.... Reminds me of the day of the 24/7 rule with the hardcore title which was fine for a midcard belt, but not for your main title.
  14. This T-Shirt is made for you bro , you know it, woo woo woo !
  15. The next few steps in the storyline are crucial, it might be sink or swim. The ending segment of RAW kinda felt flat in my opinion. Vince made a good effort to light some importance on his decision, Cena had a good promo, but the HHH/board part felt anti-climatic. I absolutely didn't feel the emotion of the moment regardless of both them trying to cry, sorry. What's up with Vince crying anyway ? Doesn't that prove the board is right ? Where's the fighter in Vince ? Why didn't he start yelling they can't do that, that he is still the man in charge ? Just staying there crying made him look even weaker than what the board said. I don't buy Vince McMahon, the character, just accepting the decision and moving on. If he doesn't try anything to reverse the decision, it will be very disappointing. HHH character as an authority figure needs development and I'm okay with giving them time to do so. He can't just be the HHH we know as it won't work. Authority figures need some kind of weakness to appear beatable, even if it's just their ego they make them take silly decision, and I don't remember the last time HHH appeared beatable or vulnerable. At the sime time, they don't have the luxury of time. The storyline commands that the new authority makes a strong point of proving that the former authority made bad decision. It's a tricky balance to achieve. If the Anonymous GM is still there (I didn't see the podium this week), that could be one way of slowing down the storyline and adding some room to establish the HHH authority figure character.
