  1. Edge got injured... he's a different case not to mention his contract has very few appearances on it. Something like 3 matches a year or something. In Roman's case... yeah I don't think he gave them much notice, but still enough that they could work him out.
  2. Thanks for the predictions, but they are a little too late. I mean my last post wasn't obvious as that it was a result posting... so here are the results a little clearer XWL Soul Survivor - Semi-Final matches Davis Wayne Newton Defeats Jack Avatar Charlie Corner Defeats Nelson Callum w/ Melanie Golden Ladder Match for The Vacant XWL 2xTreme Tag Team Titles Those Matthews Boys Defeats The Freedom Force and The Easy Riders Handicap Match Tyson Blaize & Xander DeColt defeat Hunter Maxwell, Philippe LaGrenier, & Jack Pryde Emma Bitch defeats Yvonne Ericks Dreadnought w/ Honest Frank drew PJ Strong XWL Soul Survivor Finals Corner Defeat Newton XWL Fem - X Title Match Izzy Quick © defeats Ava Anderson, Coco Malloy, and Teresa Perez XWL Junior Heavyweight Title Match Harry Allen defeats Conner Threepwood XWL World Heavyweight Title Match Ash Cambell defeats Tribal Warrior ©, Clutch McKane, Findlay O'Farrady, William Tennessee, Beautiful Bryan w/ Melanie Golden
  3. Was going to start a new thread to clean up since I decided to do a time jump to get to the debut of one of the main characters I have been waiting for... not saying who, but yeah... So the XWL is going to be changing slightly, but it isn't going to be drastic. Now I will give ya a chance to process the jump in time as I work on cosmetic changes to things.
  4. The year 2020 and the first part of 2021 wasn’t a great year for many wrestling companies, but some of them were hit harder than others. Like the XWL… the pandemic driving down ticket sales, injuries to the likes of Kittie Young and Bucky Block that ended their careers, roster cuts due to money issues, but most of all it was the scandal that temporarily closed the XWL down that hit the hardest. While Kittie Young was away healing from her devastating back injury and spending time with her children the enforcement of Co-Vid 19 protocols fell to the wayside in the care of head booker, Jack Avatar. The great state of Michigan stepped in and forced the XWL to shut its door until they could prove that they could enforce the mandated protocols. Avatar, without the respect of most of the locker room couldn’t get anyone to fall the protocols so the decision was made that they would temporarily shut down until Kittie Young could return. Luckily, for the company the fact that most of the roster is on handshake deals that paid by the appearance the financial stability of the company wasn’t threatened and performer were able to work for other companies in the meantime. So the last card of XWL’s 2021 was Soul Survivor. Which was bittersweet for more than a few reasons. It saw the end of two careers as both Bucky Block and Kittie Young would both confirm their status with the company. Block would wish his partner luck in the Soul Survivor tournament. While Kittie Young, assured fans that this wasn’t going to be the end of her getting in the ring, but that it wasn’t going to be the end of her around the XWL. As announced to everyone in attendance what some already knew and that she was the owner of the Company. So she could pop up at any time if the situation calls for it. The Soul Survivor tournament would see Davis Wayne Newton defeat Jack Avatar, Charlie Corner defeated Nelson Callum, and the two of them would meet in the finals of the tournament. Corner would go on to win the match to become the second ever Soul Survivor of the XWL. The Freedom Force, The Easy Riders, and Those Matthews Boys waged war for the titles. This obviously wasn’t going to be the best match of the night as it was a spot fest of a match even with some of the guys in the match. However, the one thing that people didn’t expect to happen was Those Matthew Boys to win the titles! For the most part they had been a laughing stock in the tag team division. Though it wasn’t without a little help, as Nelson Callum who was still reeling from his loss in the Soul Survivor tournament and attacked Kip Keenan of the Freedom Force. Next up, we had the debut of Tyson Blaize and I’m not sure he’s a great actor at the stoner character or if that’s all him naturally. However, as much fun as everyone was having with the new star it was always was going to end. This was never going to last as Hunter Maxwell, Philippe LaGrenier, and Jack Pryde came out and started to beat down the new comer. Blaize never had a chance by himself, but luckily he wasn’t alone as another man ran out making his debut, Xander DeColt! Which led to a two on three handicap match between the five men. The match wasn’t anything to write home about other than the fact that the faces despite being outnumbered and Blaize already taking a good beating at the hands of the heels actually came away with the win thanks to Xander making Maxwell tap out. Also making their debuts at the show as Yvonne Ericks and PJ Strong! Ericks took on Emma Bitch in her first match with the company. She was handily defeated by the veteran in the ring. PJ Strong on the other hand was just out to announce that he had signed with the company, but Honest Frank had other ideas for the night. He came out and challenged the youngster to take on his client, Dreadnought. PJ not wanting to turn down the challenge accepted it. Strong and Dreadnought clobbered each other from just over six minutes when the match ended by double count out. Izzy Quick would go on to successfully defending her Fem – X title against Ava Anderson, Coco Malloy, and Teresa Perez. However, The XWL Junior Heavyweight champion, Conner Threepwood was not as lucky. As Harry Allen dethrone the champion in one of the better matches of the night. Finally, the main event of the night would see the XWL World Heavyweight champion, Tribal Warrior, defending against Ash Campbell, Clutch McKane, Findlay O’Farraday, William Tennessee, and Beautiful Bryan much to the chagrin of the former champion, Chris Caulfield. Caulfield would track down Kittie Young to complain about the fact that he isn’t in the main event. Kittie would apologize to him for the over sight of him being in the match. Caulfield, would then ask if that means he’s going to be added into the match tonight. Kittie would tell him no that the match is going to stand as it is, because it’s the match that has been advertised for tonight. No surprises tonight, but promises that he will get the first shot at the champion when the XWL comes back. The main event was a barn burner, but for Clutch McKane it was the longest beating of his life. As he was the only real fan favorite in the match as Findlay had been showing a darker side of himself recently. McKane survived for a while to see at least Tennessee, Bryan, Farraday, and Tribal Warrior get eliminated from the match. However, he was put away by Ash Campbell with a little bit help from his ‘agent’ Eric Tyler. Campbell wins the XWL World Heavyweight championship for the first time, but not only has that he made history for the second time at Soul Survivor. As last year, he was the Soul Survivor winner!

  6. My short fall is I very often always fall in love jobber characters and I try to push them to the moon... ah... Chance Fortune...
  7. The easiest way that I can think of is to have the main two (the actual champs) defend the titles every time that they are going to be successful on the cards and then if you want them to lose have the other member in the actual match and use a post match angle right after of the match to cause the title change.
  8. I forgot... the next card.. XWL Soul Survivor 2. The tournament is just a four man this time around to keep the show at just one night. XWL Soul Survivor - Semi-Final matches Jack Avatar Vs. 9. OOC: I really hate my luck some time... I ran the show... had two injures and after that I just didn't want to write it... lol. So here is another screen shot. <img src="http://www.hazardousraine.fwrestling.com/TEW/WickedIntent/Shows/XS5.jpg"> The injuries were Dallas McWade who broke his jaw and in the same match Bucky Block broke his neck. Dallas will be back, but poor Bucky has retired due to his injury... which will force me to speed up my plans for Charlie.
  10. Bloated Roster Issues There comes a time when all wrestling companies have to deal with a bloated roster. The Xciting Wrestling League are just the most recent company to hit that wall. Backstage reports have been surfacing recently that several wrestlers have been upset over the fact that they haven’t been used on some of their most recent shows. There are even a few that have issues with denied pay rise requests due to the company bleeding funds on wages of the workers that have been used recently. Knowing that company can’t go on for long like that XWL management has unfortunately acquired a new item if we were talking about an RPG game called ‘The Chopping Block’. Steffi Chee, who just recently retired and was transitioning in to a backstage role with the company with a possible on screen role as well was let go. Despite being on good terms with management and there is said to be no hard feelings involved in the situation. Bart and Brett Biggins, who were both brought in to help bolster the tag team division and both were supposedly slated to have a singles runs as well were let go as well. The Inner City Express, The Heartbreak Express, The Gilbert Brothers, Dangerous by Design, Grimm and Gram, The Boys from Yukon, The Bad Boys of Wrestling, The Maryland Alliance, The Hot Taggs, and The American Cobras due to budgetary reasons. Toni Parissi, Fearless Blue, and Carlos Barrera, were released due to behavioral issues. Art Reed, was released due to safety concerns when he botched a moved that injured Grimm Quibble. Clark Alexander, Animal Harker, Brody McKellan, Bobby Thomas, were released with reasons being a mixture of creative reasons and budgetary. Money Problems… no more? With the reigns on the check book loosened up for the company. One would think that the ship would start righting itself on its own, but that wasn’t the case. However, the balance is in a better place now than what it was for the last couple of months, but for the XWL family they wish that it come at such a high price. The XWL got a cash infusion of ten million dollars as a result of a lawsuit that owner, Kittie Young won after being in a car accident with a police cruiser. The officer admitted that he was distracted by a text message from his pregnant wife. It was during the accident that Kittie Young injured her back during the crash. The accident compressed several disks in her back to the degree that her career in the ring was over with or without surgery. The injury called ‘spinal stenosis’ a condition that will slowly cause her spinal cord to dry up. The doctors told her that by the end of the year she would be in a wheel chair. Definitely, Kittie responded to the doctors that she wouldn’t be in one, because she didn’t plan on giving up in the slightest. She couldn’t afford to give up in any way between running her company and the fact that she has seven children she has care for by herself. Love Is In The Air Love has definitely been in the air around the XWL lately. As new has come out that Findlay O’ Farraday and Becca Barton (Emma Bitch) have begun dating recently. Chris Caulfield also recently during an online interview revealed that he and the recently retired, Suzanne Brazzle have been dating for a while now. Even the XWL owner, Kittie Young despite her recent injuries from her car crash has found a new love interested only a year after her divorce to her husband, Rich Power being finalized. The lucky name in her life now a days is Kip Keenan. XWL Special Attraction 5 The XWL is about to hold their 5th Special Attraction event in the Mid-Atlantic region in a few days. The current card with the new slimmed down roster is as follows. Pre-Show The Easy Riders Vs. Those Matthews Boys Beautiful Bryan w/ Melanie Golden Vs. Clutch McKane Findlay O’Farraday, Kip Keena, & Jack Avatar Vs. Philippe LaGrenier, Dreadnought, & William Tennessee Davis Wayne Newton Vs. Harry Allen Emma Bitch Vs. The McWade Brothers – 2xTreme Tag Team Championship match Tribal Warrior © Vs. Chris Caulfield Vs. Nelson Callum – XWL World Heavyweight championship match Plus: An appearance by XWL Owner, Kittie Young.

  13. He's not my champion, but Julius Moor beat Rich Money for the USPW World title... just out of nowhere it seems. I find it funny to be honest.
  14. The show is coming... trying something new with it... still trying to find a style that I like..
  15. <i>April 5th, 2020 - <b>Wrestling with The Facts</b> - Johnnie Napalm</i> <CENTER><B><U><SIZE="5">The XWL's - Law & DisOrder Event</SIZE></U></B> <img src="https://www.hazardousraine.fwrestling.com/TEW/WickedIntent/Law.jpg"></CENTER> Ladies and gentle germs, The XWL's latest event Soul Survivor is done and dusted and I don't know about you all, but I'm undecided about how I feel about the tournament. Between the first round being dominated by the heels, the second the faces, several matches that were made pointless by the outcome resulting in double eliminations, to a team getting attacked to be removed from the tournament to end up being the unofficial winner of the tag team bracket. Needless to say you can cluster f*** of two nights that more than likely cost the company more money to put on then it did make for them. I've tried to talk to several of the wrestlers that were involved in the match... not many of them were willing to talk, but the one that did and wishes to remain anonymous for various reasons believe that if this event happens again in the future it is going to be significantly different. I would hope so, because yeah that tournament was just bad. However, that's not what this is supposed to be about. My source has leaked to me not only the name of the next event... Law and DisOrder, but the card and some other little juicy news bit. It would seem that XWL is preparing to attempt to get a deal with WrestleWorld if possible, but at the very least are looking at a cable Access challenge in the Great Lakes region to broadcast their events. So for the next couple of shows there were be dark matches for the house crowd (or early arrivers) in cause a deal can't be finalized by the time the show is supposed to start. The extra matches are... Nathan Coleman Vs. Dreadnought - Dreadnought, has been a thorn in the side of Chris Caulfield since the birth of the XWL and has been in on and off again feud with the legend. It's seems that Dreadnought's rookie green streak has finally demoted him off the main show. As he will be taking on Nathan Coleman. Whom, from my understanding is just being used for this show. Tsuki Kawamata Vs. Kate Lilly - Kate Lilly, one of the brightest spots of the Soul Survivor tournament in the tag team bracket even though she was wrestling with a broken arm in her one match in the tournament. This match will mark only her second match with the company and her first in singles action. Kawamata is apparently working this show as a tryout for a possible job. The Illinois Dasher Vs Jack Pryde - Jack Pryde, normally I would talk about how pride goes before the fall, but Pryde hasn't even gotten going anywhere to fall. My source seems to think that this match is a tryout match for Dasher, but also a match to determine whether or not Pryde continues to be employed by the XWL. The Freedom Force & Jack Avatar Vs. Redneck Life (Hunter Maxwell & Those Matthews Boys) - This match has all the makings of a civil war like rivalry. On one hand you have the extremely patriotic Freedom Force with Jack Avatar who could be the North side of the equation and then you have Redneck Life... Those Matthews Boys and newcomer Hunter Maxwell (whom is supposed to be The Redneck Messiah) as the dirty south. Could easily be one of their best stories I think. Given they failed to pull the trigger on Redneck Life and Clutch McKane's unnamed misfits with The Easy Riders. The Easy Riders Vs. The Maryland Alliance - Speaking of the Easy Riders here they are against the aging veterans Brady Prince and Buck Graham, the Maryland Alliance. It's easy to see that this match up is all about getting The Riders some much needed experience in the ring. Outside of that I don't know what else to say about it. As far as the main show goes... we get some matches that have been used in the past or at least to a varying degree. Fearless Blue Vs. Mark Knox - These two have met before in one of XWL's earlier shows that we didn't cover. During the match, Mark Knox picked up the victory, but was nearly injured by a botch on Fearless Blue end. Needless to say that there has been heat between the both of these men for some time now. It's shocking that the XWL would put them up against another so soon. However, I do believe it's because they are testing to see if both men can work together professionally. Depending on how the match plays out... one or both men may be looking for a new job. 21 Jump Street Boys Vs. The Hot Taggs - We have seen this match technically given the number of times they have wrestled against McWades in triple threat tag team matches. Nothing new about this match really. Other than XWL might be looking at see which team they can cut loose from their roster. Coco Malloy Vs. Izzy Quick Vs. Ava Anderson Vs. Teresa Perez Vs Toni Parissi Vs. Steffi Chee - This match seems like it might lead somewhere... I mean with Steffi Chee recently announcing her intent on retiring I'm not sure. However, considering that the Fem - X champion has also declared her intent on retiring... I could see one of these women (not including Chee) being the next challenger for the title. Bob Casey Vs. Beautiful Bryan w/ Melanie Golden - Beautiful Bryan, who got dumped out of the Soul Survivor tournament due to travel issues looks to be getting a slight repackage. My source tells me that Melanie Golden is the newly retired, Golden Delicious who is looking to put together a small group of wrestlers to take the XWL by storm. My source says there are few names as potential candidates other than Bryan, but they wouldn't spill. Casey is making his first appearance for the XWL in this match. XWL Fem - X Championship match: Suzanne Brazzle © Vs. Talia Quinzel Vs. Emma Bitch - At Soul Survivor, Brazzle was able to turn back the challenge of Emma Bitch, but now she has to do again, but with the added challenge of Talia Quinzell. It will be interesting to see how they go with this match considering Brazzle's intent on retiring in a couple of months. XWL 2xTreme Tag Team Championship Match: The McWades © Vs. The Wild Ones (Findlay O'Farraday/Animal Harker) - The McWades, are set to defend their 2xTreme tag team titles against probably one of the few teams that actually stand a chance to take the titles off the. At Soul Survivor, Harker was no where to be seem, but O'Farraday eliminated the most competitors in the Second chance battle royal to fill the tag team bracket winner spot. In an interesting side note... rumors are abound that O'Farraday is on his way out of BCG. XWL World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Caulfield © Vs. Doug Peak Vs. Kittie Young - A triple threat match for the XWL World Heavyweight championship, but I'm not sure what they are going for with it. I mean I thought the winner of the tournament was going to get something other than a ring for his finger. In fact, where is Ash Campbell? Where is he on this card? Don't get me wrong, Kittie Young was impressive during Soul Survivor and hell has been turning out better matches than most of the men on the roster, but she didn't win the match. So her being in this match over Campbell seems a waste... though more fitting than Doug Peak who is the third part of the triple threat match. I really don't know what to think about this match... it's like the booker is throwing darts at a wall or something. <CENTER><div style="font-size:0px; height:1px; width:900px; background-color:#000;"></div> Roster Changes One of the most frustrating things for fans to deal with is roster changes. A lot of the time it's just because a wrestler decides to retire, take time off, has gotten injured, or just hasn't been used in a while. However, companies also hire and fire wrestlers as well, but even more frustrating is when a company (USPW) signs a wrestler away from another company suddenly ruining plans that have been set in motion sometimes months previously. This here is the most recent roster changes you should make note of... <b>ACPW</b> <i>hired:</i> Leftie Wilkes, Jazz Funk, Raphael, Cal Sanders, and Ozzie Goldstein. <b>BSC</b> <i>hired:</i> Zephyr <b>FCW</b> <i>hired:</i> Bart Biggins, The Darkness Warrior, Chico Ramirez, Michael "Michigan Wild Kat" Pressler, Doug Peak, Jay Fair, and Stevie Grayson <b>OLLIE</b> <i>hired:</i> Ashley Grover, Zach Rudge, Ash Barnaby, Lily Snyder, Danielle Sweetheart, Snake King, Payaso Jr., El Orgulloso, Chess Maniac, Jennifer Heat, and Mario Heroic <b>QAW</b> <i>hired:</i> Katherine Goodlooks, Hallucinogen, Vonnie Pressler, Sky Hermosa <b>SAISHO</b> <i>hired:</i> Inejiro Yoshizawa, Tornado Nagai <b>USPW</b> <i>hired:</i> Edward Cornell My hatred for the USPW continues to grow as they continue to show that they have no boundaries that they won't cross. They have hit CWA by stealing Sean McFly, they got SWF for Remo, and now they have Edward Cornell from 21CW... so far TCW is the only one they haven't hit up yet... <CENTER><div style="font-size:0px; height:1px; width:900px; background-color:#000;"></div> <B><U><SIZE="5">Untimely Deaths</SIZE></U></B> Death in any way of life is hard, but professional wrestling it just seems to hit a little harder, because of what we see these talent put their bodies through sometimes on a nightly basis. Recently, we have had to say good bye to road agent/color commentator Fabulous Frank at the age of 61. As well as Mayhem Midden at the 73. The only bright spot to both passing is that they have both classified as natural deaths as both men passed away while at home in bed with their loved ones at their side. <div style="font-size:0px; height:1px; width:900px; background-color:#000;"></div></CENTER>
