  1. Alex Braun passes away. Former tag partner Tank Bradley takes the news badly and announces his retirement.
  2. How do you get different versions of the same character from Bing?
  3. Six of my twelve graduates this year are blood related.
  4. The new CornellVerse. Where everyone is hot AF.
  5. Can someone make a stable logo background for NJPW's United Empire please. https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/puroresusystem/images/7/73/UE.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/250?cb=20210114165026 Thanks in advance
  6. Maybe she was the head of the organised crime syndicate...
  7. Burnout penalties start at 210 minutes. IIRC but don't quote me on this but this includes any pre-show time.
  8. What about true borns? To use a TEW example, I can't see Torii or Okamoto showing up on a BHOTWG or PGHW show on the same night as a BCG show.
  9. When booking a Japanese product, I turn off crowd burnout in the options, as I don't feel like it's as much of an issue with Japanese crowds. Anywhere else, I'd leave it on as it's more realistic, as shown by the poorly received Wrestlemania main events of recent times. Your best bet would be to do what both WWE and NJPW have done, and split it into two 3.5 hour long shows.

  11. He won the award in my game also, with a record of 1-41. His sole win was a TV match against Rogue, who was leaving the company. He's 0-14 in 2021 also. He might win it again because his average match rating is 78, he wrestles almost exclusively against main event talent (Rocky, Davids, ZWB etc.).
  12. It's actually effecting how I book my cards in my PGHW save. I currently have 54 workers, 24 of them are Major Stars, 23 of my Major Stars have White Hot momentum. I also have 5 Stars. So over half my roster are basically 'main eventers'. In reality, only 8 workers are more popular than the company. Due to my product, matches with Major Stars / Stars need to be 20 minutes minimum or they are penalised, quite severly when less than 15 minutes. You can put on a show for 210 minutes before you start to get penalised for crowd burnout. So I can basically put on 9 matches (9 x 22 = 198 minutes) per event without suffering penalties. This basically forces me to put Major Stars / Stars into multiman tag matches on events with a few singles matches if I want to get my lowercard workers onto events and my main event(s) not severely penalised. It also means pretty much every match has to be 20-22 minutes long, I can't book a 45 minute epic. If everyone is considered a star, no one is considered a star.
  13. Admit it, you'd have sought out this match on whatever the CornellVerse version of Youtube is.
  14. You can. On the booking screen, go into 'Pre-Booking', select the segment you've already pre-booked and click 'Add to Booking Sheet'
  15. PGHW August 2021 Glory Crown - 'Idainaru Unmei (Destined for Greatness)' Bussho Makiguchi International - 'Glorious Red' Magnum Kobe Historical Japan - 'The Big Package' Kiyohara Okakura Glory Crown Tag - Haranobu 'The Hammer' Kobayashi & Tsurayuki 'TK' Kamachi Elite Series 2021 - Makiguchi Young Lion Trophy 2021 - Masatochi Kamimura Elite Tag Team Series 2020 - KitoGuchi Mushashibo Cup 2020 - 'Royal Road Royalty' Chojiro Kitoaji
  16. Creative Control - When they're a booker, they insist that all matches and promos are scripted. Sink or Swim - When they're a booker, they insist that all matches are called in the ring and all promos are unscripted.
  17. <p>I don't believe wins and losses matter that much when it comes to momentum.</p><p> </p><p> I'm playing as PGHW. I have 21 workers with White Hot momentum, including guys who have win/loss records of 14-25, 13-29 and a 7-31 who lost 8 matches in a row during the Elite Series.</p><p> </p><p> What I think matters is segment ratings, possibly in comparison to your company popularity. I started the game at 65 but with my roster and lots of multiman matches, it was easy for most workers to be averaging match ratings well into the 70s, so they all gained momentum.</p><p> </p><p> I've noticed with the lower card workers / young lions / foreign workers with little popularity, doesn't matter how many wins they get, if their match ratings are lower than my company pop, their momentum tanks.</p>
  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Self" data-cite="Self" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="50986" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Is that TV? Events? Touring? I can't recall how PGHW are set up.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Touring with monthly PPV events. Touring shows have almost no effect on pop due to their limited coverage but the PPV events (I have Big coverage in Japan) are where the pop changes happen. I'm getting 50-60k crowds and 450k PPV buys.</p><p> </p><p> I would imagine audience has major effects on pop changes. Using the initial example, how much pop boost realistically is a worker going to get winning a match on a B show that might only get a few thousand viewers?</p>
  19. Sounds like an issue with whichever mod you're using rather than your booking. I can't think of any combination of top level WWE stars that couldn't get at least a 50.
  20. This is definitely not the case. I'm 17 months into a PGHW game and I have 21 wrestlers rated as 'Major Stars'. If anything, I could do with them being less over as trying to fit them all onto cards is a problem. It seems to me the easiest way to gain popularity is to for talent with lower pop to beat opponents with higher pop cleanly. I can almost guarantee a worker will gain 3-6 pop with a big win and the loser will lose 1 pop if I put the 'Keep Strong' road agent note on, otherwise, they will lose 6-7 pop.
  21. In my game, USPW recently rose to titanic on the back of a very good PPV event. Then, later in the same week, they dropped back down to large after a TV show. I looked at what had caused them to drop and it was all because they had dropped to 76 in Wales, everywhere else was 77 and above. Seems a little unfair, especially if dropping in size might lead to a booker getting fired. Since there is a six(?) month cooldown on being able to rise back in size after a fall, wouldn't a three month cooldown on being able to drop back after rising make sense? At least give companies an opportunity to build a bit of a buffer so one average show doesn't undo months of work.
  22. <p>Have attendances been nerfed in the 1.13 patch?</p><p> </p><p> I went from having 50k attendances to 17k, even with very cheap tickets and a more popular promotion than before.</p>
  23. <p>Hirotsugu Satou must have an insane destiny roll in my game. I'm in February 2021 and I've had at least six major stars offer to put him over.</p><p> </p><p> Problem is, when he was heel, I kept getting heels offering to put him over and now he's face, faces keep offering.</p>
