Any ideas on this? I was thinking about giving TEW2020 another go after going back to 2016 for various reasons (this being one of them) I’m sure I read somewhere that the penalties weren’t as harsh now, but is this still a problem in game? How do you rectify?

This is 100% needed in 2020. Think about real world scenarios and the workers that have been sent to NXT (Owens, Nakamura, KENTA, Adam Cole, Charlotte, Finn Balor). In TEW2020, these workers would be very unhappy to be in developmental. And when you recalled them, they would already be mega upset. Opinion is opinion, and my opinion is this option is very much needed.

I don't think it will be addressed. It seems to be limitations within the programming language, sadly.

I had heard that TEW 2020 was a much tougher game to play, but WOW! I didn't expect ratings that bad. The good news is, in the grand scheme of this dynasty, I really don't care about ratings, because I have no owner goals and I know NXT is really nothing more than a developmental company. I'm booking NXT for fun, not to try and become the best company. Right now all the broadcasters except for WWE Network are unhappy. So be it. There are other options. Make sure you have at least one worker rated on ENTERTAINMENT or FIGHTING. People don't just want to look at wrestlers. They want them to actively do something.</p><p> </p><p> As for the crowd dumping all over the wrestlers because they don't know who they are, this is unfortunately the reality of TEW2020 and the reason I am not buying it. I have not been to a show since the early 2000s where a crowd have been vocal about hating a wrestler, just because they don't know who they are. This just wouldn't happen. Sadly, you will not get a decent rating in 2020, due to this limitation.</p>

I’m going to download the mod I’m using to 2016 and go back I’m afraid. I’ve enjoyed the demo, but there are too many issues. If I enjoy the mod the same in 2016, I will wait to see how it develops.

I’m having this exact same issue, but I am playing a 2005 mod as TNA. There were quite a lot of negative personalities in the locker room. It’s still annoying though that I have to sift through 10 backstage fights and farts and to be honest, I would like to be able to remove the “worlds stinkiest fart” event, because really...come on!

I would love to be able to see it as a different colour on the booking screen, now that we have coloured lists.

Fans crapping all over any worker is not really realistic in my opinion. Aside from WWE fans, I have never been to any show where a crowd has been vocal towards hating a worker for not being good enough, or not being hardcore enough etc.

No. If you are NXT, you are signing workers to NXT contracts and as such are not employed in any capacity by WWE.

Yeah, playing a historical mod at the moment and aside from everyone in TNA 2005 being really negative influences, I’m really enjoying it now.

This mod is making me enjoy TEW2020. I have never played a historical mod before, but this is superb!

Do wrestlers still gain popularity?

But would TEW2020 be able to process it as a third brand? Every time you book an NXT show, you would lose popularity, because NXT doesn’t have the main event level stars that Raw or SD! does. It would have to be a “B” brand. I’m not sure that NXT can be correctly replicated in TEW2020.

Yeah, so day one of any real world game will have multiple requests to be recalled from the likes of Balor, Cole, Charlotte etc because they are too big for development. Even though some of those workers requested to be in NXT. Makes me wonder whether or not to even run NXT as a development brand anymore.
