  1. I'm likely going to be updating my desktop to the AM platform in the next year or so. I was surprised to see the x3D chips speed up other turn based games like civilization 6 compared to other processors with more cores since I was under the impression the x3D chips were largely about improving frame rates. Curious if anyone has tested which matters most for TEW or how much of a difference timewise it makes.
  2. Assuming the links still work, feel free to steal and of my old renders for companies/titles. If I still have the PSP image (I lost of a lot of them when my computer crashed years ago), I might be able to edit some if needed.
  3. Hello, I haven't played in a while, but felt compelled to make this logo based on the AEW one. Haven't decided how I'll use it in my game (the letters could work for a rebrand, child promotion, alliance, TV carrier). Since there's a lot of possibilities in what it stands for, I'll just post the basic letters and you can add your own to it
  4. wow. I didn't feel like digging my old belt thread up from the dead and was looking for a place to drop a logo in case it was of interest to anyone. Your stuff is awesome. Logos look professional. Small titles look great, detailed, and easy to read. What are you using?
  5. question, some of the videos I've seen online imply sami's chair shot was after the Rumble went off of the air. Wondering if that's correct, as I'd be mad if I ordered the PPV and didn't get to see the most noteworthy part
  6. I just saw the highlights. Why is everyone popping online over the Ricochet-Paul aerial spot? It didn't make any sense to me why they would do that and aside from them both getting a good jump in, I didn't see anything impressive about it. I find it odd that years ago on tough enough they kicked the one girl off because they botched the move and did a double dropkick, which itself I've seen in a few matches and now stuff like this which looks about as real as when TNA used to have 8 guys (mostly opponents) waiting with their outstretched arms to catch you as you jumped off of a cage or the first time I turned into AEW and saw the young bucks jump over their opponents, who still fell like they got hit. Reviews seemed underwhelmed aside from the main event. Any chance they get Dustin back in time for WM? seems odd Cody is doing the 'First Family" schtick against the bloodline, but he's the only one from his family there and you could easily argue the Anoa'i family is the first family given all the people that have performed and to what level of success.
  7. Small feature that I think would add to title histories would be to track them a little more like in real life. Rather than just show start and end dates, show the number of days and then have a toggle screen where it adds up and sorts the total across reigns for teams, and maybe another for individuals (in case they win with more than one team).
  8. Any suggestions for names on these combos? Pepper Pelton and Zel Quinn Marco Gonzales and Tavon Blake Jr Ernest Youngman and Ant-Man Matty Faith and Wild Red Stallion
  9. My champions are in the champions thread from several days ago, so I won't go over that again, not too much has changed Big things going on- I'm nearing the end of my protected first month after moving to Big, getting ready to feud with the top companies. I've had issues where the last % pop gain bumped a number of people down to unrecognizable, so I've been loading my shows with more top talent than usual trying to get the ratings high to keep from dropping, while also trying to build new people up to recognizable status - it can be difficult with a roster of over 200. Mighty Mo is incoming. I also recently signed Damien Carvil to beef up my announce team since I was getting penalties I opened up a second performance center that I will max out next month (balancing expenses to minimize taxes) and I purchased FCW to be another development promotion (I also started a version of TNA early on that is a feeder and started a very small company in India as a foreign feeder as well, but needed something bigger in the US that has a product closer to mine). I had propped them up financially a few times and just decided it was time to buy them out since half of their talents work for me anyway. Stables are a starting to pop. I have the following. The Dark Circle - An evil cult group. Scythe (All -American champ), Aldous Blackfriar, Original Sinner, Supermassive Destroyer, and Stacy Clementi. Blackfriar has taken off, trying to build up the other two guys to be a massive tag team, but they are still unrecognizable. May add Seth Whitehead since I can't find a tag partner or a feud for him and he looks evil. The Elite - Davis Wayne Newton, Nelson Callum, and Ash Campbell turned their back on Doc Hammond (former leader) a few months ago, replacing him with the debuting Edd Stone. David Stone has also joined the group. Edd stone might bring them their first title soon (X - Division) particularly if I can steal Freddy Huggins, who will then also join the group. The Viper's Nest - kind of my version of the flock, struggling to get over due to my popularity soaring much faster than these workers. The core three are Mimic, Dagger, and Cobra. Janus is a more recent member and his tag partner Andrew Harper is trying to get him to leave the group The 3rd Street Saints - soon to Debut, not 100% sure this will be the name. Spencer Spade and Kurt Laramee are tag champs (3rd time). They we're heels but Space turned face after Primus turned heel and went nuts on him when he couldn't beat him in a no.1 contenders match. Laramee is getting sick of Spade focusing on a singles title while they are tag champs and will turn on him when he fights Scythe for the title and then after they feud a bit this group will form with Laramee as the leader. Using this to help catapult Spade even higher before he gets the title. He's in the process of becoming my first ever figurehead. All of the guys that will be in this group have been signed. Also looking at making the wolfpack to back up Logan Wolfsbaine since he's slow to ascend to recognizable status despite being the TV champ. There's also an informal alliance with Curt Merrit, Ozzy Goldstein, and Hugh de aske in the TV title scene In other news, I dropped plans to have Dreadnought lose yet, so he's still undefeated and start to face top level opponents for his Legends belt. Have a different plan for his first loss now. Her's currently 70-0 I haven't found a worthy person to take the women's Knockout title off of Felicia Luck, who is well over 250 days now as the 1st champ. I signed Electric Dreamer to torment her and get it in a surprise victory (Dreamer had no pop in the US, Felicia is 58). Dreamer hasn't had a match yet, but is up to 16 pop with angles, but is aweful at her gimmick, so I'm trying to decide what to do now. I had a chance to sign Alicia Strong who would be higher pop (73) than Felicia, but she couldn't leave her USPW booker position, so even if I offered 1M/month, she was out. I'm about 40 days away from my first dojo graduate And lastly, my budget is getting interesting. I think I'll be ok because prior to this month (during which I made some investments and will likely be slightly in the red) I was pulling in 10M+ pre-tax. However, the investments add some cost. My new signings add some cost and I'm slowly converting people on very cheap contracts to exclusive ones, but needing to give them significant raises in the process. Soon I need to start planning the survival of the sickest tournament again, as I'm about 5 months out. It will be at least a field of 64, maybe 128. Winner gets the Kingman Invitational Trophy and a shot at the All-American belt. I can post here like I used to in TEW 2016 if people are interested.
  10. I just bought a promotion and wanted to add them to my network. I've done it before with a created promotion, but can't remember how. I know I can add a player, take care of it and then remove the player, but not sure if there is another way without that. Also, I can call up people from development whenever, or pluck them for 1 off appearances. Is there a way to essentially do a talent trade with a child company I own? Say I wanted to send someone down, or pull them up for 10 matches so they could be in a storyline, but didn't want to remove them from their usual show. Or maybe I just want them to be on both shows (a number of talent already are on both my show and work for the company I just bought).
  11. Merry Christmas, Wondering how people prefer to use their training facilities. Which and how many do you have, how long do you leave people there, which types of workers do you like to send there etc. ?
  12. Mid Sept 2021 APW [76] title holders APW All-American [62]: Scythe [83] 1x APW Legends [45]: Dreadnought [84] 1x (63-0 overall) (First time it's not Matt Keith or Ernest Youngman, who both shot way up the card feuding over this despite it having almost no prestige initially as Keith just declared himself a legend and the first champ) APW Television [37]: Kip Keenan [52]1x (pushed him to relevance quickly, from 20-52 pop in 2 months) APW Tag Team [59]: Spencer Spade [89] (just turned face the day after winning, working towards figurehead) and Kurt Laramee [69] (still heel) 3x APW X Division [58]: The Crippler [84] 1x APW X Division Tag Team [57]: Amazing Fire Fly [52] and Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr [40] 1x APW Knockouts [47]: Felcia Luck [56] 1x (the only one to hold the title, at 222 days (53-6 overall) APW Kingman Invitational Trophy for winning the 2021 Survival of the Sickest Tournament [65]: Primus Allen [85] 1x [ ] indicates avg pop in my home region, or belt prestige Roster Size: 189 active wrestlers not including those in development and with 1 negotiation in progress.
  13. I think I asked this in the old forum, but can't find it and don't recall the response. If someone is a 100% face or heel in attributes, can that change and what tends to lead to its' change?
  14. I have poached a few guys from SWF and noted that while they get decent match ratings for me, most were much better rated while in SWF. Part of it was the popularity of other people in the matches, but I also checked out product and have a question SWF says matches are rated between 40:60 and 60:40 in ring action vs popularity depending on which gets the higher rating My product says matches are rated 60:40 in ring action vs popularity depending on which gets the higher rating Curious what the difference is functionally Also, I noted both products say matches should not be called in the ring and are scripted. Just making sure my understanding of the handbook entry is correct in that this is an AI booking note and I'm not getting an actual penalty for letting 2 high psychology workers call it in the ring.
