Kind of agree here.....I found nothing on night one bad, just that nothing stood out to me as being outstanding.  R-Truth's Wrestlemania Moment might have been my favorite part of night one.  Hoping night 2 has more wow factor.

Yeah, night 2 far and away exceeded night 1.  Main event was at the same time a completely overbooked show and absolutely amazing!

I think the only match I wasn't fond of was the Usos match. It wasn't remotely bad or anything. It wasn't the least bit memorable. Having Lil Wayne announced as the greatest rapper ever was also pretty cringey. Wayne seems like a cool dude and I know he's a fan of pro wrestling, so I'm okay with his appearance despite my dislike of his music. The match was just so middle of the road. It felt like a filler tv taping match back when Smackdown was taped in advance.

  3. For Gluttony and Sloth, Ox Mastodon and King Kong Kennedy. Gives you an established tag team and they're fat and slow so they fit Glutton and Sloth.

I really like the idea of having an established tag team in the group, and these guys would also be fairly cheap hires.

What unattached valet/female manager do you have? That seems to be the way to go for Lust. Since she would be likely to inspire it

Just now brainstorming the beginning of a new save, but I was considering splitting Krissy and Brandon as manager/client and thinking she could fit since she's got several "used to date" worker relationships.

This is an idea I wanted to use back when I first got into the C-Verse in 2018. So you've sparked my curiosity. Be warned, I'm about to give you an exhaustive breakdown.

So, why is John Greed founding this group? Because he wants to hold all of the SWF's titles. More titles means more TV time, and more TV time means more opportunities to make money. Greed is in his name, so he wants to make all the money. But he's smart enough to realize that he can't literally hold all the titles at once. So, in my view, what he does is he exploits people's weaknesses to get them to procure titles for him.

I imagine SoVen represents Wrath because his massive size and frightening appearance make him a social outcast, which deeply angers him. However, I feel that SoVen's second-generation status undercuts his freakishness in this role. I think Hellion, in addition to being more experienced, is mysterious and inhuman enough to be a really frightening representation of Wrath in this group. As for the rest...

Pride - Lisa Bowen (from MAW): Women are usually forced to play Lust in this sort of group, which is an old trope I want to avert here. A newcomer to the SWF, Lisa Bowen is very worried about many things, like leaving home, finding the right client, and living up to her dad's legacy. Greed tells her she can do all these things if she believes in herself, no matter what. That's exactly what she does. She leads the less savvy wrestlers on. She insinuates herself in matches because she thinks she's above the rules. She is totally high on herself with Greed's promises.

Lust - Mainstream Hernandez: He's got the look and the charisma to pick up any woman he wants. But the problem is he can't stop. Greed will happily ply him with the classiest girls he can find to keep him on his side, because he is the most confident and all-around talented member of the group, which makes him the biggest threat to Greed's leadership. I think the SWF is edgy enough for this gimmick to work.

Envy - The Crippler: This was the hardest sin to pick, as it's a very deep idea for wrestling. Crip is jealous of everyone: aging superstars, newcomers, flashier competitors. Greed promises him the spotlight in his new group, and the numbers game may give him a great chance at finally winning the World Heavyweight title.

Gluttony - Marshall Dillon: Marshall really enjoys teaming up with Ranger, but he enjoys the old brewski just a little more. Greed sways him to his side with promises of epic parties and fine beverages. Gluttony doesn't always have to revolve around literal food.

Sloth - Robbie Wright/Sammy Smoke: Both of these men are clearly talented wrestlers with high ambitions. However, they have no intention of actually working hard to achieve their goals. With their backs against the wall, they want the security of numbers. I think Sloth should be a very weasely sort of character.

I don't know where you are in this game, so I stayed mostly in-house, assuming you were at the beginning of your save. I hope you can use some of the ideas I proposed here in the final version of your group!

Wow, ton of ideas! Crippler seems like a great choice for Envy...."What about me? What about The Crippler?" Mainstream could work as a nice tag with DeSousa, and also the "usurper" to Greed's leadership when the group needs to be shaken up. Also like the idea of using Hellion in the place of SoVen (might not be ready for a callup yet anyway).

Big thanks to all three of you for the ideas!

  4. Stable member suggestions

Wanting to build a mid-card stable in the SWF led by John Greed with wrestlers that embody the rest of the 7 deadly sins....likely to bring up SoVen from RIPW to fill the roll of wrath, but want to hear suggestions for the others:

    1) Greed - John Greed

    2) Wrath - SoVen

    3) Vanity/Pride - possibly Dominic DeSousa

    4) Lust - ?

    5) Envy - ?

    6) Gluttony - ?

    7) Sloth - ?

  5. Strange. I'd heard it was going to be Rex Steiner.

    *shrugs*

Interesting choice giving it to Ciampa. Would have preferred LA Knight, but can't complain too much with the choice.

Haven't watched yet, so for those who did - what does the set/presentation look like?

Hate to say it, but it kinda looked like something you might see on Nickelodeon to me. NXT had an edge, NXT 2.0 presentation seemed a little too cartoonish for my taste. That said, the in ring action on the show tonight was entertaining for the most part.

  7. Progress update (or lack of I guess). So, while my eye infection improved, it failed to heal completely with antibiotics. This past Monday, I had a minor out-patient surgical procedure to correct an issue the infection has caused in one of my tear ducts. Now I get to walk around the house doing my best Hugh de Aske impression with an eye patch for the next week or so.

I absolutely plan to complete the data with everything submitted so far, and still have a few ideas for further additions to the mod. Just need you guys to bear with me a little bit longer.

  8. Anything new with this mod? Didn't realize it's been almost a month since the last post in here

Nothing new at the moment. The last month has turned really crazy, topped off with me having a pretty nasty eye infection. Taking meds and can't wear contact lens for roughly another 7-10 days. Anything over about 15 minutes on the computer causes migraines. I fully intend to complete the planned update as soon as I can once the infection has healed.

They are awesome! Time to set up my FFW game!</p>
  10. All of my storylines are considered hot as they are the default, and I advanced four.

How far into the save are you? I just looked at the default storylines and only 3 of the 5 are considered "hot" at the start of a save. WWF's product requires 5 at 70+ heat and two of the starting storylines are only at 65. Unless you have increased the heat of those two storylines or started others that are above 70, then there is the issue.....you would get a major penalty for not having enough "interesting" storylines going on for your product.

  11. So I couldn't get what Praguepride said about the title names, so yeah, went with it. Let me know if you want it changed to something "traditional".

    FFW Ultimate Heavyweight Championship

    qH08Tn4.jpg

EDIT: Looks blurry. I'll see if I can clean it up later.

Love it! Can't wait to see what you come up with for secondary and tag. "Ultimate" was a very nice touch. :D

  12. Just booked an episode of Raw. If someone can explain this to me...

    Main Event: HHH & SCSA v Goldust & Hart - 78

Segment 5: Angle feat. Sid and HBK - 81

    Segment 4: Mankind v Rocky Maivia - 70

Segment 3: Angle with Taker, Mankind and Vader - 83

    Segment 2: Taker v Sincere - 66

Opener: Angle with Bret, SCSA, Goldust and HHH - 91

    Show rating - 58!?

First thing that comes to mind.....how many "hot" storylines are you required to have, and how many do you actually have?

Also, How many storylines did you advance in the show?

The penalty for not meeting the above can ding a show pretty heavily.

  14. Well, of the existing women's promotions (QAW, 5SSW, and the yet to open WINNOW and CWWF), they're mainly focused on fast-paced, high-flying action. So you could just copy that.

OR, to move away, you could do a very Entertainment/ Comedy promotion to differentiate themselves from the other companies. Similarly, an Indian Women's promotion inspired by the British/ European catch-wrestling style could be interesting too.

I like it. I was also considering a promotion similar to what AAA represented, though I really like the idea of maybe some sort of working arrangement with QAW and a similar product (possibly minus the lucha influence to differentiate the two a little).

  15. I was thinking a Fast Paced Product promotion, with lightweights only, would be a good little indy promotion to have as it goes against the grain of what India expects in wrestling (and is my favorite, so obvious bias :p)

Finally home from out of town. Looking for input/suggestions for a women's promotion as well as a promotion similar to what Kijar described above. Thinking 4C/ACPW/CZCW type, but want some feedback.

  16. Hope all is well, take all the time you need, baller :D

Thanks Kijar. I'm finally home after helping family deal with some craziness (I live near Atlanta, GA and between virus and protests over the police shooting things have been insane). Planning on spending some time tomorrow and Saturday to finish getting all of the latest worker additions taken care of (all renders are done save a couple for characters I am personally introducing), and run some testing to see how things play with the latest patch. Not going to promise/estimate a release for the next update as I learned this week that things can change in a heartbeat in the current environment, but I will get it out ASAP. Thanks for the support and interest in the mod!
