  1. I don't remember who the chick was, but she went on record to say that it was only baby oil and other lotions she already had in the bag - he just dumped it all in. I guess he apologized to her about it too. Randy Orton had the personality of Jay Chord before he got married and had a kid.
  2. Watching the latest Impact right now on Spike.com. I haven't watched every week, but that could change now considering all of the TV shows I watch are done their seasons. I really like the stuff I've seen with Kazarian and Styles... the rivalry over impressing Flair makes me laugh. And Jay Lethal is extremely entertaining. I've seen him do the Flair skit twice now and he did even better this time than the last. I like the stuff TNA has going right now, but I wish they had started way back in January (when I gave them my full attention as a trial run) with the direction they're taking now.
  3. I've never seen any company or person use the word "change" as much as TNA and Obama.
  4. Well, I decided to sleep on the whole Danielson thing and come back with a different outlook. The more I think about it and the more I look at it from different angles... I'm starting to believe he truly was fired Friday. All this time I was thinking it couldn't be possible because Vinnie Mac had to approve what happened and he was said to be ecstatic about the angle. After seeing people talk about him getting fired "without a contract" since he didn't win NXT, the more I believe he actually was fired. He didn't win NXT so he wouldn't be under contract in the angle and therefore the release can't be part of the angle. It has to be because of Linda's campaign and someone outside of the WWE who complained big time. It's actually really disappointing now that I'm realizing the worst.
  5. If I was released / fired by WWE I know exactly what I'd say... "well, I'm unemployed for at least 90 days, gonna be a boring three months."
  6. Since when does posting something on the Internet have to be a negative thing? I would just assume if he was legitimately fired he would say something a bit more interesting than he did. I'm pretty sure I would.
  7. Well, supposedly the angle on RAW was on the rundown-sheet but it didn't say exactly what was happening and only the people directly involved knew about it. Rumor has it the people around ringside didn't know what was happening until minutes before. Wouldn't be surprised if Danielson is kept in a limo all Monday night until he's used to keep anybody backstage from even knowing the truth. This is how wrestling should be booked - keeping stuff from wrestlers not involved is a good thing in my opinion. I guess the only way to know for sure is to watch RAW on Monday. WWE has won over all of our curiosity and intrigue. I think that's what they wanted.
  8. That would be cool no doubt. But I truly don't think he's fired. I think he would have posted more than just what he did - "Just changed my twitter name to Bryan Danielson. The winds of change are stirring." I think the reason he hasn't really said anything besides that is because WWE is limiting what he can say. And if he was fired could they limit what he puts on twitter? Nope. I truly expect to see him on RAW. Not even giving it a second thought.
  9. I look at it like we're playing TEW. Do you bring in someone to be apart of your hottest angle in years, have him yell, spit, and kick in the head of your main guy... just to release him without killing off the popularity he gained? No. And since when do announcers who are less important than jobbers have any real pull? Even though he was getting the crap choked out of him - Roberts is a wrestling fan - he was having the time of his life being apart of a wrestling angle and not just announcing. And if someone "higher up" thought it was pushing the envelope I'd be surprised. Nobody besides Vinnie Mac has the last say and from what I've read he thought the angle on RAW was awesome. WWE is just getting way more reality-based and what better way to be "real" then to fire someone? Now if he really is fired and it's due to the reason posted. I'm not really sure what to say. WWE dropped the ball big time.
  10. I can't believe anyone would think it was legit. The last moment of Danielson in WWE is him yelling "you are not better than me!" at Cena and kicking his head in... just to be released? No. WWE is just going more reality-based and I think it's pretty cool. They've actually grabbed my attention and I'm interested. I think its cool how they added it to their site all nonchalant. They know throughout the next three days everyone will read it and come RAW we'll see Bryan Danielson. Shock TV!
  11. With how horrible RAW was as a whole it definitely made that segment seem epic. But I think come Monday it will do something to the RAW ratings because people are genuinely intrigued. I didn't expect to see anything new on NXT from it and I didn't expect anything on SD either. They're keeping this angle for live TV and I think that's the best possible thing for all of the young guys involved. What's a better way to get them "camera ready" then to throw them into live situations every single time they perform?
  12. I was watching the NXT invasion on RAW on YouTube (again) in its entirety because it's just that damn cool. And someone commented on the video what is beyond the truth and very funny. Hahahaha
  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="BHK1978" data-cite="BHK1978" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Okay so they give all of these wrestlers stupid names, and then they acknowledge that they are the sons of Mike Rotunda and Curt Hennig! What the hell? I just do not see the points of changing the names if they are going to acknowledge who their parents and grandparents are.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I read on a news site that Joe Hennig posted on Twitter (I don't have Twitter, so it was referenced on their site) that he was going to make a legacy with his own name and that he didn't need it. I think he's going to be an awesome heel. The 20 seconds I heard him on the microphone at the end of NXT tonight (I only saw the last 15 minutes) was good. Directly making fun of two other competitors and it made me laugh when he made fun of the dude who talked before him, "a win is a win? what are you talking about?", because I was thinking the same thing. Making fun of the guy who sneezed into the mic was scripted, but what he said about the other guy seemed like Joe thought on his heels. Natural charisma like his daddy. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  14. I've said before in this thread that I'm not a basketball fan, but I constantly see people talking smack about LA on good ol' Facebook because I live in New England. So tonight I decided to piss some people off and ask how someone who gets paid millions of dollars can go 0-13 in shots? I'm expecting to have a few less friends tomorrow morning. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

It just felt real because before he put his finger in the loop of his tie to take the pressure off... it seemed like Danielson was legit choking him out.</p>
  16. Them panning in the crowd to women and children with sad looks on their faces. Kids yelling "ring the bell!" like that would get them to stop. I thought it looked awesome because Cena was literally destroyed and all of his fans could do nothing to help him. It was so well done live... the five minute clip on WWE.come doesn't do the segment justice. After watching the segment again I noticed fans chanting "NXT! NXT! NXT!" and that's pretty darn catchy. I really like the talk of this being an NWO of young guns.
  17. <p>After thinking about it a little more I've come to the conclusion that they could have done all of this building up to a Survivor Series PPV and had a couple of 4 on 4 matches - rookies vs pros. </p><p> </p><p> I think one of the things WWE is going to focus on is the fact that nobody came down to help. No security interfering, announcers were beat down (Fink, Roberts, and King) without anybody helping them, WWE champion (face of the company) was beat down without anybody helping him... not even Evan Bourne, the guy who gave him his big break last week. I can understand nobody helping out Punk because he's heel and the SES was beat down as well, but both SD and RAW rosters were there last night and NOBODY did anything? </p><p> </p><p> I really think that will be a focal point of this storyline. They're united as one alliance (NXT) and showing the entire roster that they can't be defeated because there are strength in numbers. Could be nothing, but it definitely adds to the armbands.</p>
  18. <p>I rarely watch RAW and when I do I usually only see a few segments, but I watched all of tonight and can say the ending was worth watching all of the "crap" that came before it.</p><p> </p><p> Here's a fun little question to ask yourselves...</p><p> </p><p> Would Hogan have let 8 "rookies" beat him to a pulp and then get stretchered out? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#FFFFFF;">Never. Ever.</span></p>
  19. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="SaySo" data-cite="SaySo" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Wade Barrett and the Eliminated just buried the main event. Could anyone predicted that?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I've been laughing through the entire segment. I couldn't believe my eyes. That was bad ass.</p>
  20. This was the greatest gift Vince could ever give to all of the Cena haters. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  21. Gene Okerlund and Josh Matthews just stole the show. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  22. Hernandez is a beast. I liked how Florida used him in the WR/TE roles. I think people get bad reps for failing drug tests (non-performance enhancing) when they shouldn't - I guess it depends on how you look at the particular drug. Even though I dislike the Patriots I think it's cool that they take chances on guys who are labeled "problems".
  23. That's OK. I was just confused as to what you were referencing because there was a bunch you could have been talking about. I agree with you though. He definitely has the reputation of being lazy and unmotivated. He's pretty much a RB version of JaMarcus Russell.
