1. So I just got back from deployment and so I am catching up with the developer thread. One question I have so far is about tickets. Is the ticket pricing for the whole event, or can you mix and match.

For example, using a real world mod, if I was booking Wrestlmania, I could have premium seating (for the front rows) mixed with normal for the seats in the back. I think this would be a more realistic approach then having the entire arena as premium, cheap etc.

I think it’ll just be for the whole event but Adam would have to chime in. It’s a big step in the right direction, but I think in order to do row by row there would need to be more of an interactive graphics overhaul of the user interface. There would have to be pre defined venue layouts of varying capacities to replicate everything from a small rec center and theatre to football, baseball, cricket, and basketball arenas because each section would need to be represented in order to fully control the ticketing.

I love when the game delves deeper into micromanagement but some people don’t, so there would need to be a setting(like how merchandise is done in 2016) where you could set it to custom for an event and then really dive into it. It would be a lot to code for a feature not everyone will truly appreciate.

  2.
The news on Stables is pretty good, makes it easier to book New Japan, lol. I honestly don't really know what else Adam can add to this game that wouldn't already complete it for me. The few main things I was hoping for(broadcasting and worker contract overhauls, ticketing, merchandise) are already in.

Do you think the developer's journal would work on social media as a way of garnering more attention for the game or is too much of a niche of a niche?

  3. I love that the Independent Shows will happen more frequently and with bigger sizes. That will be great for organic mods and trim down on real world mods. There's not going to be much of a need for 60 companies in the game when the bulk of them could just be auto generated Indy shows, which will lead to much faster game loading times. This way the companies that do make it into the real world mods will need to be unique enough in some sort of way that warrants them being in.

About the block tapings. Is it 4 episodes a day or can you not tape 4 episodes again until one or maybe all the episodes are aired?

It'd be cool if you could block tape 3 months of TV in 3 days like what Impact Wrestling was doing(might still be doing for all I know).

But the bigger question is can you set the AI to run a block taping schedule to better replicate NXT, Impact, ROH, Lucha Underground? Will the AI try and change to what schedule type works best for them in that situation? NXT is in a financial position(in the game world) where they would have no problems running live every week with all that WWE money.

  5. It would've been amazing if Jeff Jarrett returned as Aces & Eights president. Still a bit peeved he wasn't on the TNA Ten PPV they recorded a week ago or so. I used to be annoyed whenever he was on tv because I wasn't a big fan of him, but I think he has enough staying power to still be relevant, even in an angle like Aces and Eights. I think it was kinda obvious from the get-go Bully Ray was the leader, but I don't want to be one of those guys...lol
