They are rounded corners with a drop shadow. Just because you can’t easily magic wand the background away, doesn’t make it weird.</p><p> </p><p> Try placing a new shape over top of the current shape and use the established skin as a guide for where to place things.</p>

I can't fathom how the decisions about the UI came to fruitition and how the beta testers didn't push the graphic design to a higher standard. I've said it year after year that the game looks horrid and most of the time it's been left to the community to fix things. It's an eyesore and for people with migraine like myself, at the state the game is in right now, it's unplayable.
It would be okay if the game would be easily modified but no: take a look at this:
It's a zoomed in image of the background. It's full of odd blurs, pixel bleeding and weird graphic design decisions. It's horrendous and hard to mod even for people with moderate editing software experience.
Yes, when you zoom into ungodly close levels things look off on a jpeg image

not having the ability to use the arrow keys to navigate the companies and workers is tough.... any workaround or shortcut i am missing?
Use the search box and the side arrows on the profiles. It's a big change but not nearly as bad as some are making it out to be. I know it's hard to change something you're used to doing, but I feel like people aren't giving the new style a chance.

On the scrolling complaints - using the search at the top will also speed things up and bring you directly to the profile/worker/company or whatever you are looking for without any need to scroll the long lists. It may take some getting used to, but the search is fast.

I'm using this mod at the moment and I think it's quite good. The cuts used for the worker pictures are great also.
Thanks. Some of the cuts for the lesser known workers are a bit rough as there is barely anything out there for unknowns (Josh Besore and Greg Pawluk for example) and I could only find images by scaling through archived links on the way back machine, but I figured something is better than nothing in that type of situation.

Since I can't seem to get a reply on if this mod will be made for 2020, I am converting the data I have and all changes I made and bringing it to TEW 2020. I am excited!

Yeah I have never gone back to watch any of their wrestlemania matches as I knew they had 3.
For me, Benoit making HHH tap out after that amazing triple threat to win the World Heavyweight Championship and then celebrate with Eddie in the ring was the peak of my wrestling fanhood. Such a shame what was to come...
