2. Still looking for a few more people to help out as a few of those who said they had interest before haven't come through. Really looking for someone who has a good handle on the broadcasters portion of the game who could help overhaul the current setup. If you would like to help out, you can express interest here or via PM and I can hook you up with a link to the forum we are using for discussion.

Over the past year, I've been trying to work on completely updating Risky Business to take advantage of the new features of TEW 2016, and had intentions to update Main Event and release Young Guns. However, there are times that real life has you thinking about what to do. I had one such moment during WrestleMania week and weekend, as I started to ponder how to balance whatever free time I get. Lately, when updating Risky Business, I've been hitting a brick wall that I'm sure other modders have hit from time to time. I do some work, then I just hit a proverbial brick wall. So here's the status of everything:

I intend to try to finish updating Risky Business. If nothing else, I want to get the location portion finished so that I can release that as it's own file for the community to use and make it to where it can plug and play into any mod. Other than updating RB, I am stepping away from making full game world mods. For me, it got to a point where it was starting to feel like work, and the time I put into TEW, I want it to be fun. That leads me to let everyone know that after talking to justtxyank, I am happy to announce that he has accepted the task of taking over making a 1993 mod. I felt he was the best candidate to take it over as he has already released 1991, is working on 1992, and theretofore he will have a great base to work with already. As for Main Event, any experienced mod maker who wants to release a February (or better yet, January so that we can run the first ever WWF Royal Rumble if we like) 1988 mod, and has the time to work on it, have at it.

As for me, I'm not leaving here anytime soon. I feel that I'll be at my best making small contributions such as the aforementioned location plug and play file that is based off the locations from Justtxyank's 1991 mod. I also intend to release a plug and play move set database that any and all modders can use. And with there not being any pressure now, who knows, I might be able to stick with a diary this time! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I want to thank everybody here who's been warm and welcoming, has shared laughs and good chats, and has helped me to understand the inner workings of TEW. If I start listing off everyone by name, we'll be here all night. So I'll just leave you all with this...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zP1fMJXwEtY

I know the feeling man, my 2004 mod is taking incredibly longer than I ever thought it would and more and more my free time has become hard to find. Not to mention, working solo without a team on mods is incredibly hard.

  5. Any chance you could add the Cruiserweight Classic as a retired tournament title the way you've set up the Royal Rumble, Money In The Bank, etc? The first CWC just finished up tonight and I'd like to keep the tournament running as a yearly thing in my next save file. Here's a belt graphic I tossed together for it to spare you the most time consuming part of the process:

  6.
OPEN CALL FOR TEAM MEMBERS

Looking for a couple of people who are interested in helping complete the conversion of this mod, as my free time is really hard to come by as of late (5 month old baby in the house and hectic work schedule.)

Work mostly would include setting body types and home regions, as well as tweaking personalities.

He doesn't watch Puro, so he naturally didn't create many Puro wrestlers.

Since Idolized did say he is open to adding workers from a list, it might be best to suggest which mod would be best to import these Puro wrestlers from. Just a suggestion.

I would also be scaling their stats back considerably to account for room for them to grow into the workers they became IRL

  8.
Mid September will be the earliest possible release, and even then no promises.

The fact that the Japanese scene was fleshed out at all was due mostly to help from other people as I do not, and haven't ever watched Puro. If anyone would be willing to make a list of workers from Japan that that should be added i would be more than happy to.

The picture pack does include free pictures for generated workers, and the mod is meant to be played with organic generated workers on.

Speaking of Japan, Dragon Gate will be added with the 2016 release.

  9. Togg -

Any chance you'd be interested in absorbing my website, EWWAREHOUSE.INFO into yours. I haven't had the time to keep the project going much this year but I have a ton of mods hosted from EWR, TEW 2005, TEW 2010, and TEW 2013 that were hosted with permission - so all you would need to do is download them from there and ad them to your site. It would definitely take a load off my shoulders to know that the files are backed up somewhere before I shut down the site.

A new title is being introduced with a new lineage called the TNA Grand Championship.

Oh my they had to one up WWE with crappy title names huh?

  11.
Had an idea for The Cruserweight Championship to be the same design as the WWE Championship, only with the silver and purple color scheme of the CWC:

    <img alt="WWE_Cruiserweight2.jpg" data-src="https://s31.postimg.org/vunilf7ff/WWE_Cruiserweight2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

  12.

That sounds good, my only concern would be how could you control this so it only allows WWE and NXT in the alliance, maybe setting to only global companies, having a max of 3 members, which is the minimum just in case another promotion could join, and having WWE and NXT as permanent members. I may set up an alliance but not the NXT titles being alliance titles.

I was just sharing for players to add, (Same with the NXT Belts being alliance titles) as I'd fear the possibility of the AI not handling it well if you aren't controlling WWE. Having said that though, NOAH and WLW have a alliance in my 2004 mod and I've never seen anyone join in the long term play throughs I've done. I could look into it a bit more.

  13.
I stumbled upon a cool little trick that others may enjoy when booking WWE.

By going into the pre-game editor and creating a "WWE Universe" Alliance and adding NXT and WWE as members with the trading feature ticked, the AI will use the Alliance Loan feature to bring main roster members to NXT once in a while for one-offs. Also, if you set the NXT titles as Alliance Titles, then if you decide to call up say Samoa Joe as NXT Champion - he will not be forced to vacate the title. The AI can book him to lose it on NXT, or you can actually book NXT title matches on the main shows.

plus using a one night call up you can essentially book who the next champion is by booking a dark match to simulate a live event title change

Realized it might be better situated in this thread:

Is there a resource or website you use to determine the roster/titles/champions/information of a company at a specific date (for example by year)?

Thanks in advance.

Wikipedia's view history feature of an article is incredibly handy as well.

I may try and convert the belts too once I'm closer with the data. The logos, event logos, and broadcasters will stay the same as they are as I like the cleaner C-Verse style for those.

<img alt="pic5.jpg" data-src="https://s32.postimg.org/k06k8ld39/pic5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

2. I'm going to go through and make sure the majorty of the Lucha Underground regulars are added with their alter egos.

3. There will be new custom future promotions to open for sure. Not sure on active promotions yet.

  16. A sneak peek at the new worker image style and a potential skin to be released with the mod.

    pic4.jpg

The picture pack is done, now adding agers and free worker images.

Still quite a ways to go, I've began retooling sex appeal in both men and women (Women are done). Next thing I will be retweaking is popularity as it seems to be a bit off for a few guys. I've also exported all of the data and will be going over each top row stat for workers from best to worst to make sure workers fall in line where they should.

  17.
Are the ratings incredibly inflated in this version of TEW or isit just me? Heat and Velocity seem to be getting realistic ratings in the testing of my mod (in the 0.60 range) but Smackdown and RAW are getting astronomical 19.0 range ratings.

Has anyone figured out a way to get more realistic results? Is this just something we have to live with?
