I just think it’s important to note that on a shoestring budget, they prioritized their talents’ income over their own profits, when the biggest company in the business couldn’t manage that. I agree that besides my note, ROH’s management has been garbage for a long time. 2. Glad you guys are hyped for this as much as I am doing it. Still need to bring in more workers to get working the way I want it. A few companies rosters were set up yesterday.

Will it possibly be expanded on to play through modern times. This could be a fun one for a long term game. My goal for dott is some buddies and i will be playing through this as the smallest workable level.of a promitionwe can be with zero pop and a minimal amount of money and try to grow of which we will set up some limitations on what we are allowed to do. For example none of us can own a network . And we wont be able to have a dev promotion until after 2002 . If we even allow then. Jyst to up the challenge for us.

Hope you can expand on til 2020 and hopfully add more job guys as the way tew works now its needed.

But im excited. I haven't bought tew 20 yet as im holding out fleshed out mods. And this is the one mod i wanted. Just expanded on.

Are news stories still a thing in tew 2020. If so i hope you have fun with those and expand the world with more world news to shape up this new world.

  3. I know it was for the previous tew before 16. Would be amazibg if updated from that period up til current times. Especially with the changing landscapes of industry. and that we have alluance titles now. That wasnt a thing when dott was being updated.

Id love to do a long form multiplayer game with 4 buds playing start up promotions from the bottom in 83 84 whoch such a mod.

Dott was for the longest my fav mod. It just needed to be expanded a few decades. Plus now with new game areas it could be interesting to see how the world shapes up.

  4. Oh thank god. I'm firing Vince McMahon today.

Hopfully that gets corrected. I mean it would be cool depends on company and wrestler if they could get presentation and take you to court

Maybe if you are a booker and depends on your relationship with owner if they are friends with who you gave steroids yo and fired maybe it affects your relationship and forces stricter goals on you for a period of time.

  6. So as suspected, the PC version of WWE 2k15 does have lots of features missing just like the next-gen versions on console did. It's bizarre that so many people seem to be defending such things (not necessarily here, i'm talking in general), "It's their first next-gen version so it'll be better in 2k16", "They're testing the PC market to see if it's profitable" etc. To those people I say these things:

    1. The features should've been in from the start. They were in previous WWE games so why were they taken out? Incompetence? It must be as it can't be for future paid DLC because the console versions are still missing numerous features too. You wouldn't buy a new car with missing wheels, so why buy a video game which is missing features?

    2. DLC. Oh Lordy... it has "all DLC except for Paige", but you wont get it all straight away! Again, someone tries to sell you a new car, would you buy it with a missing wheel if you were told the wheel will be provided at some undisclosed point before the next quarter comes around?

    3. The best way to test what the market is for a game series is to not release a buggy, broken mess with missing features. I'm sure it's sold very well as it was on the Top Sellers list on Steam (although I think it's due to no WWE wrestling games on PC in over a decade), but if it hadn't then they wouldn't bother with a PC version next year. The "It'll be better next year" argument is ridiculous, if it's a mess and no-one buys it they wont port it to PC so people have to buy it hoping that there'll be another version because then it's financially viable to the company.

Video gamers are often the most understanding, and yet also, the most brutal of all consumers so it boggles my mind that so many have put up with so much for so long! Skyrim, a buggy mess upon release, Rome II upon release, an utter clusterfu... you know the rest, to name but two major releases. It truly baffles me how many people pre-order games when they're often terrible upon release because they clearly haven't been tested properly/released earlier than they should have been. The ironic thing is that it's usually the huge studios with millions of dollars that are the worse culprits.

There are many twisted people out there, far more than I believe the average person (one who doesn't play video games) realises and they're also getting younger because you can't give them a slap when they get out of line these days. But i'm of the opinion that i'd rather them be sat at home twiddling with a gamepad doing things virtually than be out on the streets enacting their sick fantasies in the real world.

I don't mean to bring up the age old "video games/movies create violence" discussion, but what the media says is utter garbage because if the person is of sound mind to begin with then they wont be affected by such things. I've played "violent" video games and watched countless horror movies since the age of about five or six years old (admittedly I probably shouldn't have) and yet I don't have a criminal record. Why's that? Because my brain isn't mush and I can tell the difference between reality and fantasy. If the media were to be believed, i'd likely have been the worlds youngest and most prolific serial killer. (i'm not by the way, don't call the cops)

    /rant over :D

actually its the same game engine from the ps2/ps3 they really have never changed the game engine much. so makes no sense especially with them skipping the previous year to take everything out. and 2014 was the first game by them. and btw yukes is still making the games

  7. anyone here going to wrestlemania 31? and if so are you doing any events that week outside of wwe.. roh, wwn live experience wrestlecon etc?

wrestlecon saturday night before mania has rvd and sabu vs the hardys in the first match they had together since raw of 98.

and wwn live announced for night 2 of the king of the indies tournament a special attraction match (same time as wrestlecons show)

ultimo dragon vs juventud gurrera vs riccochet(prince puma of lucha underground)

  8. I haven't seen any of the series on the network, but one thing I found amusing about previous documentaries was how they portrayed WCW as pure evil for trying to drive them out of business and cost people their livelihoods. But it was totally OK for Vince to do the exact same thing to the territories in the 80's, of course.

true, but in all honestly that era was dead with cable anyways, and if it wasn't vince someone would have done it anyways, be it croket or watts or turner buying someone and doing it. but you have to give it to vince, he was hungry at the time. took major risks and was able to make those offers and expand. and then take own a billion dollar company. winning yes, but only because the merger hurt wcw more than anything. the territory system as we knew it of the 70s early 80s would not be able to survive today. unless they made drastic changes and worked together . i always felt a hulu for wrestling would be great. but getting promotors working together is a thing of luck.

  12. So it seems TNA is going to have only 4 PPVs a year. I think that's awesome. Should lead to great build for the shows. The other month's are going to be taped PPV's specials with a theme. The first two are apparently going to be tag team related and than x-division for the second. Sounds like they will have a 14.95 price tag.

Oh one other thing, the Robbie's are awesome and really entertaining right now.

the 14.95 ppvs wont draw a dime as they are taped but also as they are taped months in advance. they are taping them this month one is airing like april or march and the tag one is airing in may.

live ppvs right now average 7,000-11k buys a month with bound for glory this year doing maybe 19-20k buys i think (2012) the last big draw they had was 2011 bound for glory. tnas biggest ppvs ever ranged from 30k-60k (sting jarret bound for glory, and joe angle 1, and i think one or 2 lockdowns) lockdown though is tnas highest selling ppv even though they try to treat bound for glory as tnas mania/starcade

they would be best suited as monday night live special events on spike tv once a month on off months and along with ppvs not be in orlando.

  13. There's been a total of three shows. Extreme Reunion and then the two Extreme Rising shows. There were two shows in a weekend and those two both received positive reviews.

they are doing a show in september i guess clveland . they havent announced the date yet. but will prob this coming week. and the big november show where they crown the first champion.

i bought tickets for november and will be flying to philly for it. its cheaper than the next wwe ppv by me next year. and prob a far better show. its a b level wwe ppv elimination chamber anyways meh. and i cant do live raw and smackdowns as its not worth paying so much to sit and watch the titan tron for hours. roh i thought of doing for it, its an ok product at times, but not overall. still better than wwe or tna shows though. I lost any serious fan interest in wrestling years ago. i mostly skim through shows now and read spoilers and play it by that if i want to watch. its hard to want to be a fan right now. tna has turned around a little, but im still not sold on them. i only went to a few shows for sting and angle rvd, beyond that not all excited.
