  1. I'm pretty sure angles under four minutes or minor angles have no impact on crowd management
  2. http://greydogsoftware.com/cornellverse/ That's the "official" site of the Cornellverse. Obiviously, it hasn't been updated for years, but if you're completely new to the universe, it's probably really helpful as well.
  3. Yes, you can get a boost to your attendance if you pre-book a particularly strong card. It will tell you on the pre-booking screen. You might have avoided the penalty with four minutes or less. Check the "angles" section in the handbook for how long angles can run for depeding on the categories they are rated on.
  4. That only helps if they are set as "on screen" in the angle. Hype video angles are usually set up so that the workers are "off screen".
  5. If the worker prioritizes the other company, he won't work the other show because otherwise he wouldn't have been available to work your show. If the worker prioritzes your company over the other, he might still work the other show.
  6. Maybe I'm missing something, but doesn't the current system already allow exactly these kinds of tv specials? Right now, you can have any event be broadcast on any broadcaster you have a deal for events with. Curious as to what the difference would be.
  7. No, there isn't, neither in the demo nor in the full game. Filtering by "rated on" is one of those things that was inexplicably taken out of the game for TEW2020. I'd just go with freestyle angles.
  8. Per the handbook, perception is based on the popularity in the promotion's home region and any other region where the popularity isn't more than six pop points less than the home region. So, it could be that the wrestlers aren't as popular in Kansai as in the other regions, which would change their perception to well known.
  9. None of them do, so I guess I'll try for my next show. It's just that I remember reading somewhere that it's not a good idea because both broadcasters would "steal" each other's viewers and so would actually lower the viewership numbers. I searched and I couldn't find anything about it, though.
  10. I have two broadcasters with overlapping coverage. If I select both broadcasters when I run a show, will the viewership for these regions simply add up? I feel like this would be a bit too cheap to be true. But surely, there can't be a disadvantage of broadcasting a show on two broadcasters who (partly) cover the same regions, can there?
  11. Yeah, I guess you could look at it like that. And it's not that I don't like the challenge of my champions being poached by bigger promotions. I just found it weird that the AI immediately vacated the belt when it's usually intelligent enough to have the champion lose the belt to someone else before they leave. At least with non-alliance titles.
  12. Playing as CZCW in the default database, our COTT World Heavyweight champion got signed to an exclusive written deal by TCW. Said wrestler has "per show" deals with OLLIE (handshake) and me (written). Those deals end after both companies' next shows. In fact, there are four shows left in total with OLLIE and CZCW where the champion could be booked to lose the title. However, for some reason the AI decided to vacate the belt and I was wondering why that is. I'm inclined to post this in the tech support section, but perhaps somebody has a good explanation on why this happens.
  13. Yes, this would be really helpful. I'd also like to filter out touring shows, as well.
  14. Thanks for pointing this out. That's exactly what I'm going to do, although it doesn't ensure that the King Of New York title match is the main event, does it?
  15. Wait, so he has allowed someone to put the mod through the converter and release it without any further changes but he's not allowing you to do the exact same thing?
  16. Okay, maybe I wasn't clear enough. My issue is not that the game puts the match with the most star power as the main event. This makes perfect sense. My issue is that the King Of New York show is supposed to have the "King Of New York" battle royal as the main event (hence the AI instruction for that show), but it doesn't, because it apparently doesn't put the wrestlers with the most star power into that match. This leads to an issue where the King Of New York battle royal is not the main event - instead it's another battle royal. This doesn't make sense and is an obvious glitch, which is why I posted this thread in the technical forum.
  17. NYCW held their annual "The King Of New York" show with its battle royal to crown the King Of New York. The AI instruction for the event is "Main Event is battle royal". But instead of putting the King Of New York battle royal as the main event, NYCW put the match as the semi-main and held another battle royal as the main event. I know technically it's working correctly, but I'm sure it's not meant to work that way. Is there anything you can do to make sure the battle royal that main events the show is the King Of New York title match?
  18. This is fantastic. Will get my hair cut and send you a picture soon.
  19. Sounds like some kind of glitch. What does it say on the worker's page or in the skills section under "current injuries" on the bottom right? Any mention of the injury there?
  20. It increases the final show rating if I'm not mistaken. Check the player's handbook for more information.
  21. I disagree. You can already check the calendar in the events section of your office so if you pay attention, you know who's available and who might not be available on your show. So, if you pre-book a segment and the worker isn't available, it's entirely your fault because you didn't check beforehand. That's part of the fun of the pre-booking feature. Plus, you can already turn pre-booking off if you wish.
  22. Pretty sure you're going to be fine if you make him figurehead now.
