  1. Week 1, June 2020 The first order of business as I began my first head booker job was to meet with the boss, Danny Daniels. He has 5 goals for me. 3 of them expire in two years, 1 expires in just over a year and a half, and the other expires in a year and 3 months. AAW can't fall into debt or fall below Tiny size. I can't hire or extend anybody who has problems with law enforcement. I can't hire or extend anybody who has a reputation of less than 45. I can't hire any wrestler over the age of 40. So all these goals make sense. Obviously if we go in debt, we're in trouble. Nobody wants troublemakers on the roster, so of course I have no plans to hire people in trouble with the law. I don't necessarily agree with the last 2 goals, as getting people with a 45 or higher reputation to come to a tiny promotion may be harder than the boss thinks, but I'll give it my best. Also, I understand why the boss doesn't want any wrestlers over the age of 40, but those guys have great experience. I mean who wouldn't want a guy like Sting or AJ Styles on their roster. OK, we all know guys like that aren't coming to AAW, but the point is there are still talented wrestlers over the age of 40. But, what the boss says is what the boss gets. I needed to hire some new road agents and referees. I also needed to set my announcing team for the weekly shows and the monthly events. Most of the names I have gotten will be quite recognizable. AWW referees: Jim Korderas, Mark "Slick" Johnson, Mike Chioda AWW road agents: Barry Windham, Colt Cabana, Lisa Moretti aka Ivory. Moretti will be the road agent for all the womens matches and since there won't be very many, she'll also road agent a match or 2 from the male wrestlers. I am also in talks with one other road agent. AWW announcers: Joey Styles. How could I not hire Joey? He's amazing! But he's not as young as he used to be so I've decided to get him a color commentator. I'm in talks with one, but for this week, Styles will work by himself. It's only an hour long show, he can handle it. The tag team scene in AAW is pretty bad. Right now we have 3 tag teams: The Besties in the World (AAW Tag Champs, Mat Fitchett and Davey Vega) The African American Wolves (ACH and AR Fox) The Boys (Brent and Brandon Tate) who I just signed. Because of this, I told my booking staff to book a random tag team match on every show. Maybe we can build some chemistry between some wrestlers already in the company so that I can create new teams within the company instead of having to go out and look for new tag teams. The first episode of AAW Takedown saw me booked on the preshow against Zicky Dice. It won't be long before I will be competing for titles, as PWI has named me the hottest free agent independent wrestler on the market. In this case, I went over on Zicky. It was the highest rated segment of the night. Unfortunately of the 2 throw together tag team matches, neither one produced any chemistry, although I'm told to be patient, it may take some time for teams to build chemistry. I am considering putting myself in a tag team and making a run for the tag team titles, but as I mentioned, I don't want to abuse my booking power and constantly give myself wins and titles. That wraps up Week 1 of my head booker/active wrestler dynasty. I wanted to get a weekly post in so that I could get thoughts from you guys. What would you like to see more of? Do you want to see results from the entire card? Do you want more storytelling? What would make this dynasty more appealing?
  2. That helps. I'm just looking for general booking tips. I'm running All American Wrestling from one of the Real World Mods. I think the match ratio is something like 75/25 for matches. I wanted to just do autobooker because I really don't have the time to commit to booking shows but man the auto booker is terrible lol. Mainly I was looking for info on storyline. Should I do storylines for all my titles?
  3. I'm doing a dynasty as head booker for a tiny size promotion where I'm also an active wrestler. Does anybody have any booking tips? How should I include storyline. How many should I have? Who should be in them? Any advice would be appreciated.

  5. I am still deciding how I want to do the format, if I want to do weekly or monthly, and if I want to just cover my matches and angles, if I want to quick result the entire cards, if I want to highlight the events around North America or just cover whatever company I'm working in, or what. I'm open to suggestions there.
  6. This will be a text dynasty of my journey as I have created myself as a skilled wrestler and head booker. I am using a Real World mod starting in June 2020, and I only have North American Promotions active. Since New Japan does run a lot of shows in the USA now, I made New Japan's location Southwest USA because I had to keep them in the game. All other Japanese promotions and all the European promotions will be inactive. I am starting as a 24 year old wrestler with All American Wrestling, based out of the Great Lakes. Owner is Danny Daniels, and some of the most popular names on the roster are Sami Callahan, Jake Crist, Colt Cabana, ACH, "The Juice" Juventud Guerrera, and a few others. Although I am the head booker, I will use AI booking for everything, BUT I do have the final say. If I want to add a match, an angle, take away a match or an angle, make a title change, etc, I will do that. My only steadfast rule is that I will NOT under any circumstances handle my bookings. The AI will do that. I will not abuse my power and I will let my more experienced staff decide what to do with me. Now, that's not to say I might not make suggestions, but ultimately the final say on what matches I get and whether I win or lose will be in the hands of the AI. I won't go over the whole roster right now because there is likely to be a lot of changes. Our current champions are as follows: AAW Heavyweight - Mance Warner AAW Heritage - Hakim Zane aka Rohit Raju AAW Tag Team - Davey Vega and Mat Fitchett (not familiar with either) AAW Women's - Kris Statlander My first order of business was to get us on tv. Unfortunately being a small company, none of the networks wanted to do business with us. We are going with streaming services for now. I've signed 3 month contracts with Vimeo (USA) and YouTube (Canada) to air our monthly events and our weekly tv show which will be titled AEW Takedown. For now, the shows will be 1 hour long and the events will be 2.5 hours long. Now I'm going to look over the roster and find some more tagteams, as our current champs are the only active tag team in the company. Not good. I am still deciding how I want to do the format, if I want to do weekly or monthly, and if I want to just cover my matches and angles, if I want to quick result the entire cards, if I want to highlight the events around North America or just cover whatever company I'm working in, or what. I'm open to suggestions there. Right now I'm going to work on getting referees, road agents, etc, and find more tag teams, then I'll sim some shows. Hope everyone enjoys! I don't know if this will get much in the way of reader activity or not, but it's always something I've wanted to try.

  8. Can you point me to a couple dynasties to check out that are month to month with not a lot of detail so to speak? I understand where you're coming from with the auto booker, but I suck at booking #1, and #2 I honestly don't want to make the commitment to book, and I'd like to do a reasonable pace with this. Plus I don't really want to book myself and abuse my power. If there was some sort of compromise that would be good.
  9. would anybody be interested in reading a text only Total Extreme Wrestling dynasty where I create myself as a wrestler and head booker, but let the auto booker do the majority of the booking? It's an idea I've been wanting to try as I love TEW but I just don't have the time to set up shows, etc. So the reports would be month by month and highlight the major happenings of the company and all my matches. Lmk because I'll do a dynasty report on these forums if there is interest.

  11. Great concept, I love this idea for a dynasty. The team series type things like World X Cup and such have always appealed to me. The spread style of betting has always been confusing to me, but I'll give it a go! Chicago Wolfpack(-1.5) @ New York Knights(+1.5) Washington War Eagles (+1.5) @ Texas Sandstorm (-1.5) Miami Bite (+1.5) @ Los Angeles Wrestling Club (-1.5)
  12. Great read! I was a WCW mark all the way so I'm always into WCW dynasties. Looks like I'm too late to the party to make any noise in the prediction contest though
  13. Hey guys, long time forum member, had several attempts at writing dynasties but always fizzled out. Unfortunately I no longer have time to invest in writing my own dynasty, but I would like to read a couple dynasties. I'm looking for suggestions on the best rw interactive dynasties to read. By interactive I'm looking for dynasties that have predictions and prediction contests or maybe some sort of team challenge, or a puck a wrestler. I'm sure you all know what I mean. Can you guys please suggest some dynasties like that for me to check out? Thanks.
  14. In the 1993 mod I'm using, I decided to do some experimenting. I made WWE an insignificant fed and I'm playing WWE as a head booker, auto booking pretty much everything. I want to see how I do, especially with the owner goals and all the game challenges like getting company to tiny, winning regional battle, all those. Almost everyone, even the jobbers have the perception of star or major star. Fortunately the A and B shows auto booking do a decent job of separating between the real talent and the jobbers. Thinking about a brand split. 3 singles and 1 tag title per brand. I know if I did I'd have to hire more wrestlers. What would you say is an ideal number of wrestlers and tag teams for each brand?
  15. Sorry guys, I had some family issues to deal with but I plan on running this show Monday or Tuesday. Still time to get predictions in if you want.
  16. NWA/TNA Gold Rush Preview NWA/TNA Gold Rush is set to take place this coming Sunday. The finals of the TNA X-Division Title and TNA Tag Team Title Tournaments. In addition, the TNA Heavyweight Title will be on the line. All 4 NWA Titles will be on the line as well. The NWA Heavyweight Title will be decided in an elimination match. Here is the match card: NWA World Heavyweight Title- Elimination Match Jeff Jarrett vs. Sabu vs. Dustin Rhodes Comments: NWA World Tag Team Title Match Kaz Hayashi & Tadao Yasuda © vs. Danny Doring & Roadkill vs. Ace Steel & Colt Cabana Comments: NWA World Women's Title Match Leilani Kai © vs. Natayla Neidhart vs. Trinity Comments: NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title Match Michael Shane © vs. Antonio Banks vs. Scoot Andrews Comments: TNA Title Match Jerry Lynn © vs. Buff Bagwell Comments: TNA Tag Team Title Tournament Finals 3 Live Kru vs. The Gathering Comments: TNA X-Division Title Tournament Finals AJ Styles vs. Elix Skipper Comments: General Dynasty Comments: I will run this show sometime this weekend, so if you want to get in the prediction contest, get your predictions in now.
  17. TNA Fury! Wednesday, Week 4, Jan. 2004 Ft. Lauderdale Armory - Ft. Lauderdale, FL Show Announcers: Mike Tenay and Don West Show Attendance: 447 I definitely like centering the text and graphics better, I think I'm going to keep it that way.
  18. TNA News and Notes -- TNA has signed Mike Rotunda and Greg Valentine as road agents. The hiring of these 2 veterans should really help the company. -- TNA founder Jeff Jarrett has created the TNA Network! It will be a free to air internet site with very small coverage throughout the United States. -- Jarrett wanted the TNA Network so that the company would have a place for their second show, TNA Xplosion! It will be a B show, 1 hour long, which will take place after TNA Fury and will be shown on the TNA Network on Friday afternoon. TNA Xplosion will make its debut in February. -- TNA ownership has worked out an agreement with the National Wrestling Alliance to hold a PPV once a year in which all TNA and NWA titles will be defended. For this year, the PPV is set to take place this coming Sunday, January Week 4. The finals of the TNA Tag Team Title and TNA X-Division Title Tournaments will be held, as well as a TNA Title match. Also, the NWA World Heavyweight Title, the NWA World Tag Team Title, the NWA World Women's Title, and the NWA Junior Heavyweight Title will be defended. It is said that the 4 NWA title matches will be triple threat matches.
  19. I have your predictions down, so far you're the only one to have predicted, thanks for that. Will be hard to have a prediction contest without more predictions lol. But maybe the further along I get in the dynasty, the more I'll have. I do have a bad habit of abandoning projects, hopefully I can stick with this one. If you think the graphics are big enough, I'll leave them as is. I think I know how to center everything, but if you want to PM me and tell me how, just so that we're on the same page. Unfortunately, with so many wrestlers being unavailable on different days, there isn't a great day to hold my shows. I have a feeling I'm going to have to do a lot of booking on the fly. If I do, so be it. I hope to have another show up tomorrow, if all goes well.
  20. TNA Fury! Wednesday, Week 3, Jan. 2004 Ft. Lauderdale Armory - Ft. Lauderdale, FL Show Announcers: Mike Tenay and Don West Show Attendance: 427 I decided that unless someone really wants to see ratings for the matches and shows, I'm going to forgo that right now as that isn't a focus of this dynasty. Of course the entire card had to be changed since Scorpio and Christopher Daniels weren't available. I feel I'm going to be doing a lot of changing things on the fly. What do you guys think of the graphics? I wish I knew a way to make them bigger, if they are hard to see, I'll continue to work on them, but I think the graphics alone make the dynasty look better. I'm going on a road agent hiring spree as right now almost all my road agents are also active wrestlers, and I don't want that. Again, any comments, questions, concerns? Let me know.
  21. thanks for the help! My problem the whole time was that I was clicking on the wrong code. I was clicking on the image link code! Now that I have that figured out, I can start creating my spreadsheet with my graphics. And I can get back to this dynasty within the next few days I hope
  22. Just an update, I haven't abandoned this dynasty. I started a new semester of classes and I've been looking for a job, plus trying to get caught up on some things around the house, so this dynasty has stalled for the moment. It is going to be a slow moving dynasty, with probably just 1-2 shows a week, until I figure out how to manage my time better. That being said, another reason I've stalled this project is because I'm having trouble with graphics. I can't get imgur to work right, and photobucket can be a major pain in the butt. I'd like to incorporate at least some basic graphics because well.. it just looks better. So if anybody can actually go in details and show me how to use imgur, or if anybody has an idea besides imgur or photobucket, let me know. Otherwise, it's back to paying for photobucket. Also if anybody wants to make predictions for the tournaments, please do so. I'm still hoping to have a prediction contest, but it's not a necessity. Any comments or questions or predictions are appreciated though.
  23. Need some help incorporating graphics into my dynasty. I've used photobucket in the past, and I still can, it just takes a lot of time (photobucket isn't always the fastest). Others have suggested imgur, I tried that site and couldn't get the pictures to work right. Can someone help me out with some suggestions on how to use imgur, or maybe another program out there? I think I need a video walkthrough on how to better use photobucket and imgur. Help please?
  24. If anybody has any thoughts or opinions, or wants to make predictions, feel free. I'm still working on the graphics situation. Any other suggestions, feel free.
  25. TNA Fury! Wednesday, Week 2, Jan. 2004 Ft. Lauderdale Armory - Ft. Lauderdale, FL Show Announcers: Mike Tenay and Don West Show Attendance: 401 Final Show Rating: 53 Not a bad show, as per usual I'm not worried so much about ratings (other than to keep TNA on tv) because I'm not interested in the company growing bigger than medium. Right now it's at small. I realize I may have to make changes to shows based on who is available, since most nights there is part of the roster working elsewhere. I'll cross that bridge when it comes. For now, I'm happy.
