  1. Personally i'm with you on not liking simply changing the name of the Title but like a lot of people have said it depends on your level of immersion and if the Rock is Face or Heel. If face: I'd have a heel lay him out and destroy the belt on the last episode on TNT leading to the tournament where the heel who trashed the belt wins and faces The Rock in a grudge match to crown the first Champion of the new Title. If Heel: I'd have Rock talk smack about how dominant a Champion he has been before claiming he is done playing with the "small fish", he trashes the Belt and makes his move on to the World Title scene leading to the creation of the new Title and a tournament to crown a new Champion and potentially make a new star or two in the process.

  5. Like most I tend to overload my roster with talent to the point where I have a lot of guys sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing aside from the dark matches to keep them active. A plus side to the bloated roster leads to having a big and diverse Tag Team division. Admittedly i'm a sucker for Tag Team wrestling so every game I start I always tend to build a deep Tag division. I struggle with lengthy babyface Title runs as well and instead focus way too much on the face chasing the Title and have heel Champions rack up the lengthy reigns.

  7. I learnt this the hard way. Monday Next was my biggest merchandise mover making over 10k a month for me, my next highest was Nighthawk who was only pulling in a little over 2k. Long term booking plans to get the Title on Next got altered when current Champion Blake Belushi signed an exclusive deal with RAW to become their booker, so the Title got hot shotted to Next who promptly got signed by one of the Japanese Companies (Can't remember which off the top of my head.) So yeah, going forward I push who I want based on storylines and characters but i'm always mindful of having those pushes under exclusive deals.
  8. The Australian wrestling scene went crazy in September 2024. Playing as my own company, MCW, I had just hit Medium size, joining RAW, APW and ZEN. Well everyone kind of went crazy with written contracts, myself included and while I managed to hold a few key players I did end up coming out the worst in the mass talent lockdown. Blaze Maximum, Monday Next, Blake Belushi, Hack Greer, Reggie Tate, Dazzler and Pink Spider are just some of the big names I had used to build my company up and they all fled for greener pastures. As of now my two biggest talents are Nighthawk (Babyface Champion) and Maelstrom (My primary heel) followed by The Affliction, The Apocalypse, Rob Edwards, Surfer Dude Lucas and Jesse Tasman. In all honesty it kind of is a blessing in disguise as I was getting bored with the save and now I have a new challenge in building up a ton of unknown talent to try and be competitive again. The plan over the next few months is to try and get Jesse Tasman out of his Surfer Dude tag team with Lucas and over enough to be my figurehead as he has all the tools to be successful with the exception of being a touch overshadowed in the overness department.
  9. Playing as my own company in Australia, Melbourne City Wrestling, and just hit January 2023. MCW Heavyweight: Blake Belushi. Just short of 500 days with 14 defences. MCW Oceanic State: Reggie Tate. 31 days and count, 1 successful defence. MCW Tag Team: The Affliction. (2) 59 day as Champions, 2 successful defences. MCW Victoria Cup: Monday Next (2022 winner) Yearly achievement that is earned in a 20 man Battle Royal every November.

  11. Had a few in various saves I'm running but the notable ones are Tommy Cornell signing for SWF, while not major in game mechanics sense it's interesting to see from a lore perspective that the guy who ran a company head to head against Eisen and the SWF would join them. Two separate instances with Jaime Quine, on one save she got praised for spreading positive vibes about body image, and on a different save one where she got heat for taking shots at "out of shape wrestlers" that got her into a negative relationship with Gorgon. Again not too exciting but cool to see how each save can be different. Finally got one on my RIPW save where Vicki Company announced her pregnancy in May, gave birth in November and then got busted cheating on Mark Misery, leading to a divorce, with Phillip Cooper. Immediately made me question if who the father of the newborn was.

  13. I've done this with a few workers over the last few games in the TEW Series. Mainstream Hernandez - The Mainstream (Similar how Rocky Miavia became The Rock) Larry Wood - Manslaughter (Used an alt picture for him that had a Kane like mask.) Kaori Takenouchi - WAR Takenouchi (playing off the military gimmick) Toku Kijmuta - Bam Bam Kijmuta (Simply using her nickname instead of the first name) Regular Joe - Joe Benning (Never liked the Regular Joe name so just went with his natural name) High Flying Hawiian - Dante Kai I'm sure there are others but that's all I can think of at the moment.

  15. Jack Griffith for me, in pretty much any Cverse game I've played I usually hire him assuming i'm not using him as my avatar (He is my go to when I open my own company.) Kind of like a once great prospect who didn't hit the mark people thought he would is making one last ditch effort to leave a positive legacy in the business. Always found his backstory one of those interesting "what if" deals where you wonder where he could have ended up if his demons didn't halt his progress.

  19. WWF Rising Storm: May 1993. WWF Heavyweight Champion: Vacant. Sadly a mere 3 weeks after winning the Title at Mania 9 from Ric Flair, Champion Randy Savage died in a traffic accident that threw my April PPV, Rampage, for a loop making it more a tribute show than a proper PPV Event. Plan currently is for the Title to go to the winner of the 1993 King of the Ring which is likely to either be Flair or the returning Ultimate Warrior. WWF Intercontinental Title: Bret Hart. Won from Steve Austin at Mania 9 to end their lengthy feud, currently engaged in a three way war for the Title with Arn Anderson and The Great Muta. WWF Tag Team Titles: Stars and Stripes (Del "The Patriot" Wilkes and George "The Eagle" Hines) Won from The New Foundation at Mania 9 in a face vs. face upset, will lose the bets back to Owen and Jim who will turn heel just before Summer Slam. WWF Television Title: Paul Roma. Won from Tatanka at Rampage 93, not much to say about this one other than the Title is used to build up lower card guys or to give midcarders I like something to do. Roma will likely lose this back to Tatanka at some point who will eventually drop it to the newly signed DDP.
  20. Apologises if some of these have already been suggested, I did look through but after a bit everything kind of blurs together. Master Politician: Worker is more likely to form backstage cliques. Political Amnesty: Worker prefers to avoid being a part of a backstage clique. Volatile Politician: Worker is likely to develop negative relationships between their clique stable mates and non clique members. Positive Partner: Worker has a higher chance of having a positive chemistry note when forming a new tag team. One Man Raid: While unemployed a worker is likely to try and highjack a show as an audience member to get some notice. (Think Enzo at the Survivor Series.) One Man Business: The Worker has a higher chance of going off script and into business for themselves in a match. (Think Koji Kitao shooting on Earthquake in a match in Japan.)

  22. <p>Just finished Wrestlemania IX in my Rising Storms save, scoring 100 show rating in the process, my first of the save.</p><p> </p><p> In the main event Randy Savage won the World Title from Ric Flair after a short, but heated, feud that merged multiple storylines together as Flair's Heenan Family stable mates Arn Anderson and Steve Austin, who were feuding with Mr. Perfect and Bret Hart Respectively, constantly tried to help Flair gain an early upper hand over Savage following his Royal Rumble win back in January. Savage's reign is planned to be shortish for the time as he will drop the belt at Summer Slam to either Ted DiBiase, who I want to give a small token Title reign too before he retires, or the monster known as Sid.</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of Sid, in the co main event he beat the "Immortal" Hulk Hogan in a feud that has lasted since the previous years Summer Slam when Sid, who believed Hogan stole a Title opportunity from him, cost Hogan a match against Flair by slamming the door on the Hulkster as he tried to escape the cage in the main event. I put Sid over huge by not only having him beat Hogan but also inflicting enough damage after the match to have Hulk stretchered out. This is legitimately Hogan's exit from the company as I feel the time is right to let him go and work on building up new stars so the main event scene doesn't become stale.</p><p> </p><p> Bret regained the Intercontinental Title after a long and bitter feud with "Stunning" Steve Austin. Bret will eventually lose the Title to Arn Anderson before getting his overdue main event push and dethroning DiBiase or Sid, depending on who I go with in taking the Title from Savage.</p><p> </p><p> Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart lost the Tag Titles to the team known as Stars 'n' Stripes (The Patriot & George "The Eagle" Hines) The change was surprising give that The New Foundation only won the Titles in January at the Royal Rumble from Jake Roberts and the Undertaker. Plans are in motion though as the Foundation will take some time off before returning and going full heel on the patriotic duo, eventually winning the gold back at Summer Slam.</p><p> </p><p> Following their defeat to the Foundation and then failing to win back the gold in a rematch Jake Roberts turned on the Undertaker, pinning all the blame on the dead man for their recent lack of success. Taker would win their first meeting at Wrestlemania IX but their saga is far from over and I have plans from both men to meet several times over the next few months.</p><p> </p><p> The next year will be used to build up the next generation in the company as guys like Flair, DiBiase, Piper, SGT Slaughter and Savage will slowly start to be phased out in favour of guys like Bret Hart, Steve Austin, Sid, The Great Muta, Davey Boy Smith and the Undertaker who will carry the company into the next generation.</p>
  23. Personal favorites, Storylines/feuds and worker behaviour are usually the top reasons for a Title run for me but every so often i'll just push someone "just because" The one common thread in my booking choices is long term planning, I usually have Title changes planned out well in advance, sometimes years ahead, though I'm flexible enough that if something alters the plan (failed drug test, injuries, a new inspired idea...) I can run with it. An example would be the Intercontinental Title, I use this for upper midcard guys or even main eventers that aren't factoring into the World Title picture. Currently the belt is on "Stunning" Steve Austin, he will drop the belt to Bret Hart at Wrestlemania, who will drop it to Arn Anderson at Summer Slam, who will drop it to The Great Muta at the Rumble before winning it back at the following years Wrestlemania. If something happens that alters the plan I tend to replan the whole thing. This way I know who I'm pushing, when to build people up and what I can get out of their run as Champion, no matter if it is a year long reign or a simple three month courtesy run.
