  1. Rebel Galaxy has sucked my playing time since it was released. Finished my first playthru and want to test a group of ships and then restart with focus on the pirate faction and use their stations. From the people that made torchlight it is a nice single player game
  2. I have played a bunch of mobas. I mostly lol. There is a huge difference between playing with people you know and people you don't. If you can get a 5 man group together and play HOTS it is the most newbie friendly. When you play with friends you are playing to have fun. We you play by yourself everyone is much more worried about winning than having fun. Simple things like fighting 1 v 2 is bad fighting 2 v 1 is good knowing the objectives on maps and the timing can make a huge difference. There is a guy khaldor(sp) who you tube channel he shoutcasts competive games and adds some in site to the game. Learning a role and practicing a few of the heroes for that roll can speed up the process of improving (warrior-tank, melee assassins, ranged assassins, support etc) I have found the HOTS community went in the tank after public release and have not played much solo and don't intend to anytime soon. good luck
  3. I had not watched an impact for 5 weeks (got 5 episodes on the dvr) so i figure i have some time lets look at what i have missed. ummm I may not be their target audience but are the ratings up for this stuff? I liked TNA a few months ago much better than the TNA of today. I will still check them out but they are getting lower on my to watch list.
  4. I go to a sandwich shop often for lunch (its in walking distance) They are a family owned buisness and they know me and what I normally order. I have eaten there at least once a week for over 7 years. There is a girl who has now been working there for over a year. She does not understand the words lettuce tomato or mayo. I understand she may have a language barrier but making sandwichs for over a year you should get some basic words. The fact i have to play show me the condiment and I will nod yes or no it has come to the point that i now will never order when she is working any longer. She is very slow and even though she has been there for over a year she still acts like its her first day. To be honest it didn't bother me at first but now her attitude is just wrong. She doesn't greet you, say doesn't give you a total (you have to read it from the register), she doesn't smile and she usually rubs her arms across her forehead, talking in a forgein language to nobody, and looks unhappy that you are asking her to make a sandwich.
  5. Remianen - respect your opinion but disagree about Deion Sanders. I saw him take himself out of running plays. You can't be the greatest of all time if your not going to try to make a non highlight play. He is probally the most gifted corner to ever play the game but I would take my chances with a Troy Vincent type who may not be quite as flashy but will make all the plays and tackle a running back going outside both guys where popular team leaders. Have no disagreement with any of the other guys although with you liking the physical corners no mention of "Nightrain" Lane who is probally the most famous of them. GOAT-Jerry Rice. You can have heated debates at pretty much every other postion. I don't think anyone is going to deny Rice. The guy made TO sitdown and shutup and know his role. His work ethic, his big plays the guy was the complete package. TOP 5 linebackers 1-LT ummm he really changed the postion and caused havoc and personal changes to teams he played against. The Eagles would play with 2 blocking backs (Byars and Tony) to try to save Randal and pretty much put the deep pass out of the playbook unless Randal scrambled away from him. 2-Jack Lambert again caused havoc and was a force demoralizing to the oppents. If someone wants to argue that he is number 1 i won't really disagree that much about it. 3-Dick Butkus again a total intimidater. Running backs didn't send this guy christmas cards. Not the sideline to sideline guys that Lambert and LT were but he brought serious intensity to the middle of the field. 4-Mike Singletary I think he came from the same mold as Butkus. Look at them eyes he is going to kill someone. Think he holds the record for cracking his helment. 5-Even if Ray Lewis retires today he belongs on the list imho. The only knock on him is when he didn't have quality DT's his game was way off. All the guys above him had some quality DT in front of them too. Inspirational leader and goes sideline to sideline. Makes alot of big plays. I played middle linebacker so i may be a little partial to the guys in the middle. TBH i am sure i forgot someone that is deserving and there are guys before my time that I won't disagree with. My dad would have a fit that Concrete Charlie isn't on the list.
  6. I am going to watch impact but it may be the last one for a while. I was enjoying tna prior to hogan joining. I was looking forward to hogan not wrestling. I like watching MCMG, beer money, team 3d, I like matt morgan, hernandez, samoa joe, kurt angle. I can be entertained by a mick foley or kevin nash interview. I want more raven! I will probally watch the "Orlando Screwjob" 5 times on dvr in suspended belief, as nobody in TNA can be that stupid.
  7. I enjoy more pure feds but i like entertainment also. The trouble is i don't tune into TNA for tna. There are better mediums for that. I am also on the wrong side of 40 and maybe I see the show through a parents eyes. Getting the kids watching espcially with Hulk coming could mean long term loyal fans. Mick Foley writes kids books. I loved the orginal ECW (even when it was eastern championship wrestling). I knew what i was getting into when i went to a show. I think TNA needs to focus on what they want. I hear them say we have the best wrestling/wrestlers in the world. They usually have some good matches and sometimes a good storyline which is great. Before i really only had issues with ODB (again not myself as a parent) but if this is their new direction then I think they are missing a chance to bring in young loyal fans that could get with the underdog. Increasing their fan base should be their #1 goal and if they think they can outdo WWE by being WWE lite well they will come up short imho. If they really want to be #1 they need to play on being different - better wrestling , family friendly could be one way to go.
  8. I had been liking impact more and more lately. This past week I was hopefull when it was going to be the Kevin Nash show. Honestly I was dissapointed with the show. Steiner's pushups and the mud wrestling is not what i want from a wrestling show. Angle was doing commentary and Daniels makes a run in should have been a 4 way fight without Wolf getting pinned, I am not a fan of the distraction roll up pin endings anyways, someone is on the apron well that makes a roll up unstoppable. I know its all fake but I don't want it to look that fake. I had not liked the Foley storyline until this week although i am not sure how its going to play out.
