With King of Kings moving to march, it is rumoured that A Little South Of Sanity will be revived for november. SIGNINGS Last week, we saw the TCW debut of Frederique Garcia and Mikel Alonso. We've been told that they have been offered a special non-exclusive deal so they can continue to work for FCW. We are being told that Matt Blackburn and Nobuyo Hikichi have been offered to TCW on excursion from PGHW. BACKSTAGE There are rumours that Danny Fonzarelli has decided to retire in the coming months. We'll try to get official confirmation from TCW. <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";">TCW PRESENTS TOTAL WRESTLING Tomorrow's TCW show – which will be held at the Wisconsin Gardens – will include the following matches: Dazzling Dave Diamond and Danny Fonzarelli vs Wolf Hawkins and Doc Hammond T-Bone Bright vs Maverick Mighty Allen vs Titan Sammy Bach and Edd Stone vs Troy Tornado and Joshua Taylor Roderick Remus vs Greg Gauge Aaron Andrews vs Freddy Huggins As always, let us know in the comments who you think will win.</div></div>

RDJ: Trenton! How are you? What a great show we had on Sunday! We had Greg Gauge defeating One Man Army to keep his streak alive; we had a great Tag Team title match with The Mighty, Mo and Allen, winning the titles from the Behemoths; we had Jay Chord avenging his loss from January against Sammy Bach; and we had "The Ace" defending his World title against Joshua Taylor, who was a great challenger. There is a big ovation from the crowd, but also a palpable sense of suspense, as everyone knows what is coming. RDJ: However, the main event was unfortunately overshadowed by the post match shenanigans. It seems that Wolf Hawkins didn't get the message when I suspended him last month. That message being that I run this show now! So Wolf, why don't you come down here? Let's discuss this mano y mano. As soon as RDJ has finished his sentence, The Alpha Wolf's music hits. Hawkins appears on the stage and walks down to a chorus of boos. Wolf: Hello Ricky, so nice of you to invite me down to the ring. You know, I really didn't miss you the two weeks I was gone. Your cowboy schtick was getting on my nerves big time. However, for you to believe that you call the shots around here, that was something I couldn't let you get away with. The Syndicate is the only law in town. So what are you going to do, old man? Suspend me again? RDJ: Believe me, Wolf, I'm not going to make it that easy for you. The next time I send you home, you won't be coming back… …ever! In fact, I had a little chat with Andrews earlier today, and we agreed that your actions shouldn't be rewarded with you being able to sit at home and watch your cronies do the dirty work. So I will give you what you want: You, The Ace, on PPV! Hawkins' smug grin turns into full blown laughter, but before he gets the time to gloat, RDJ holds up his hand. RDJ: Hold on. I wasn't finished. There are a couple of things you need to know about this month's PPV. First, Andrews' title will not be on the line. However, there is something else on the line… …your career! If you lose, you will be gone from TCW, forever! I have no time for shit-stirrers, and even less time for losers. But this is not all, Wolf. This month's PPV will be King of Kings, and whoever wins the tournament will be first in line for the World title. So even if you win, you will have nothing to show for it. As RDJ is talking, the fans start cheering and chants mocking Hawkings erupt. Hawkins, who was gloating moments ago, looks like he's seen a ghost. RDJ: In fact, the qualifiers for the tournament start right now, so you'll excuse me for escorting you out the building. 97</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Sammy Bach vs Ernest Youngman in a King of Kings Qualifier We are back from commercials, and what a start to the show we've had! This month is shaping up to be one hell of a ride! In our first match of the evening, we have Sammy Bach facing off with Ernest Youngman for a spot in the King of Kings tournament. Bach is the big favourite of course, and he's the one dominating the earlier part of the match. Youngman bides his time, but manages to capitalise on the first mistake Bach makes. He's really proving his worth out there and we can see why many call him one of the smartest signings of RDJ's young reign. After almost getting the pin, Youngman gets a bit too cocky. He's playing to the crowd a little bit too much and gets floored by Bach. Moments later the match is over. Bach wins with his signature submission and moves on. Winner: Sammy Bach via submission in 14:23 78</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Vanity Bonfire vs The Elite Our second match of the evening sees The Elite in action. They are scheduled to meet a mystery team, and they are visibly nervous. Out come the team of Frederique Garcia and Mikel Alonso, formerly known as Handsome Stranger. They enter the ring to a huge ovation. It seems that people remember who they are. We are told that their team will be called Vanity Bonfire, which, by the way, is also the name of their finisher. The two veterans from Puerto Rico go on the offence early and it is clear that they are a well oiled machine. Multiple quick tags make it almost impossible for Johnson to recover. He finally makes the tag and Chandler cleans house. Just when it looks like the tide is turning again, Chandler distracts the referee long enough for Johnson to choke Alonso with the tag rope in the corner. Chandler capitalises instantly and is able to submit Alonso with a Fabulous Stretch. Winner: The Elite via pinfall in 9:46 with Chandler submitting Alonso for the win 67</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> THE SYNDICATE STILL RUN THE SHOW From two members of The Syndicate to the next, we are backstage with Doc Hammond and Chris Flynn. Chris Flynn: Who do you think you are RDJ? You are playing a very dangerous game! Wolf may be gone for the night, but don't believe for one second that this changes anything! The Syndicate is still running this company. Now. And. Forever! Doc Hammond, as usual, is not one to talk, but his cut-throat motion is all that is necessary to get his point across. It's time for the next match. 62</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Edd Stone and One Man Army vs The Syndicate (Doc Hammond and Chris Flynn) Let's see if Doc Hammond and Chris Flynn can back up their words. They won't have it easy, as they face One Man Army, who is as dangerous as ever, and Edd Stone, who has been getting better and better after a bad start to the year. The match is unfolding exactly as you may expect, with The Syndicate using every chance to bend the rules, and Stone and OMA battling back from whatever is thrown their way. Hammond is dominant early on, but ends up outside the ring after a picture perfect drop-kick from OMA. Once on the floor, he gets taken out from the top rope by a high-flying Stone. In the ring, OMA is able to pin Flynn for the win. Winner: Edd Stone and One Man Army via pinfall in 18:05 with One Man Army pinning Flynn for the win 73</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Benny Benson vs Freddy Huggins in a King of Kings Qualifier Our next match is another qualifier for King of Kings 2020. The veteran Benny Benson squares up with Freddy Huggins, who's been one of the hottest acts in the company as part of The Hybrid Two. Huggins' partner, Matt Hocking, is in his corner. The match is quite open, with both competitors looking good. After a while, Benson starts to breathe heavily. Huggins' non-stop offence is catching up. With one final push and a Huggins Kiss on top, this match is over. Winner: Freddy Huggins via pinfall in 15:55 73</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> CHORD IS MIGHTIER THAN MO We are backstage with Jay Chord, who's in great spirits after avenging his loss to Sammy Bach. Chord: Just as I promised, I'm once again on my path to greatness. Everyone knows that I'm the greatest wrestler in this company. And today, I will prove that I'm the mightiest too! 80</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Mighty Mo vs Jay Chord It's time for our main event. Jay Chord goes one on one with Mighty Mo, who just became one half of the TCW Tag Team champions. A win against a reigning champ would be a big statement win for Chord, who has said repeatedly that he intends to become the World champion sooner rather than later. Chord hasn't faced many opponents as powerful as Mo though, and he's struggling early on. He's trying different things, but Mo shrugs off all blows heading his way. If we learnt one thing the last twelve months, though, it's that you do not bet against the son of the great Rip Chord. Just as it looks like Chord may be out of this match, he's able to string together a jaw-dropping array of butter smooth moves that leave Mo reeling. For a moment it looks like Chord is going for a cradle piledriver against his much bigger foe, but he thinks better of it and instead hits Mo with 1, 2, no, 3 super DDT's for the win. Winner: Jay Chord via pinfall in 17:32 83</div> SHOW RATING 84</div>

Unfortunately, life (and a bad case of long COVID) got in the way and I stopped posting altogether. Now I want to continue what I started. I actually lost my original save file, but I was able to perfectly replicate the first two months of my game. Since I haven't got as much time as I used to, I have decided to make some changes to the original diary. Namely, I will not book MAW any longer and I will discontinue RDJ's and Sam's storyline. However, the shows will be booked exactly as before. Would love to have you along for the ride!</div>

  8. Having played CV97 for the past couple of weeks, I noticed that, while the broadcaster revamp helps a lot with finances, it severly hampers popularity gains of workers as not enough people are watching. With my go to company, NOTBPW, it was impossible for upper carders and main eventers to gain popularity while losing pop every time they lost a match, resulting in my company having no stars or major stars at all. Not sure how to fix this, as the intended consquences are indeed working as advertised, making it a very nice change in theory. Otherwise I have to say that CV97 is still by far the best mod out there. Reliving the glory days of the CV is a complete blast!
  9. That sounds very interesting, more than happy to give it a spin and let you know how it goes
  10. Yay! Can't wait to try it out. Can you elaborate a bit on how the broadcasting changes are implemented?

Born and raised in a little town outside Tallahassee, Florida, his exposure to latin music awakened his dream of becoming a professional dancer at an early age. In his youth, Hocking spent most of his free time in one of Tallahassee's premier dance schools, quickly turning into a very gifted salsa dancer. There, he also fell in love with a visiting dancer from Puerto Rico, and, with his parents' blessing, he followed her back to Puerto Rico when he was only sixteen. After a nasty breakup one year later, Hocking was about to head back to Florida – realizing that he wasn't good enough to break through the local dance scene's glass ceiling – when he stumbled upon a flyer for FCW's FREEDOM of Expression show. Intrigued by the branding, he made the fateful decision to attend his first wrestling show. That night was a turning point for Hocking, as he met his future trainer Shawn Gonzales after the show. Gonzales quickly realized that the good-looking and athletic young man in front of him had the potential to become a great wrestler, and – realizing that he may have stumbled upon an opportunity to stay in Puerto Rico and earn a living – Hocking was quickly convinced to start training to become a wrestler. With his flashy, dance-influenced ring style and his suave, "metrosexual" mannerisms, Hocking soon rose up the ranks, and it was no surprise when TCW swooped in and signed him in 2014. He debuted as a flamboyant heel, and soon adopted the moniker "Shocking" Matt Hocking, playing up the preconceived notion of many newer fans that a "pretty boy" like him shouldn't be able to pull off the flashy aerial moves that he regularly does. The start of 2020 couldn't have been any more successful for Hocking, after his real-life girlfriend Laura Catherine Huggins convinced the higher ups to team him up with her brother Freddy to form The Hybrid Two.</div> MONTHLY AWARDS <div style="display: inline-block; padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #ffd700; width:25%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";">SHOW OF THE MONTH TCW The War To Settle The Score</div><div style="display: inline-block; padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #ffd700; width:25%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";">MATCH OF THE MONTH Remo defeated ZWB SWF Nothing To Lose</div><div style="display: inline-block; padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #ffd700; width:25%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";">STORY OF THE MONTH The Debut of Mighty Allen</div> </div>

Gauge has been on a hot streak for a few months now, and he'll be looking to add another feather to his cap. OMA is quite the step up from Benny Benson, though, and Gauge has to be careful if he hopes to keep his streak alive. The match starts out pretty slow, with both men being quite cautious and trying to get a feel for their opponent. OMA is the first to go on the offense, and he's the one finding success early with his fists. Gauge is trying to defend the best he can. Brawling with OMA is clearly not working for Gauge, and, after a while, he manages to slow the action down to a game of technical chess. Now, Gauge is in his element. He's getting stronger and stronger and manages to keep OMA on the back foot, having to focus on not getting submitted. OMA isn't able to defend Gauge's technical prowess for too long, though, and has to tap out to Gauge's Proton Lock. Gauge keeps his streak alive and is continuing to rise up the ranks. The Mighty, Mo and Allen, will get the chance to take the TCW World Tag Team titles from The Behemoths. Killer Shark and Titan have been terrorizing the division for more than half a year, and they haven't looked vulnerable during their reign. At Malice in Wonderland, Mo found some early success against the pair, but Tana's declining physical abilities, and Peak's interference, meant that the titles were never really in danger. Tonight, things look different from the get go. Allen and Mo may be a bit smaller than their opponents, but they're every bit as mighty, and many times as athletic. For the first time in a long time, Killer Shark and Titan look almost physically inferior, as they struggle against their opponents explosiveness. The match is still pretty open, with both teams getting in some great offense, but the upset becomes a reality when Mo hits Titan with a Plunging Spinebuster. The Mighty win the Tag Team titles Winner: The Mighty via pinfall in 16:15 with Mo pinning Titan for the win 74</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Chance Fortune vs "Mighty Fine" Darryl Devine Next up is the grudge match between former friends and partners Chance Fortune and Darryl Devine. The breaenkup of Devine Fortune was an ugly affair, as Devine, who now goes by his old moniker of "Mighty Fine", has chosen a rather questionable path to end things with Fortune. Devine will have to prove tonight that his partner was indeed the weaker link; meanwhile, Fortune will surely hope to get some revenge. The match is pretty intense, with both men forgoing using their skill set in favor of a wild brawl. It's definitely not the prettiest match, but Devine looks like a star as he's able to finish off his partner with relative ease. Chord: I said it once, and I'll say it again: You didn't beat me at Malice in Wonderland, you merely got lucky. You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into when you accepted tonight's rematch. When I'm done with you, you'll wish to never have stepped in the ring with me. The time for words is over, Sammy, now you'll suffer. 82</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> "The Elation Sensation" Sammy Bach vs Jay Chord The crowd is buzzing as it is time for the highly anticipated rematch between bitter rivals Jay Chord and Sammy Bach. First to the ring is Chord, who walks down the ramp to a deafening roar of jeers and boos. He doesn't seem to mind the animosity from the crowd. In fact, he seems to bask in it. Next up is Bach's big entrance through the crowd. Bach is greeted by his fans, the Bach movement, like the biggest rock star on Earth. Bach is a little hesitant before entering the ring. It was never his plan to get in the ring with Chord a second time, and he doesn't seem like his usual exuberant self. Bach has won the first match between the two by roll up, and Chord has spent the last month hazing Bach for his rematch, only getting his wish after viciously attacking Bach. The match is a true treat, with both men pulling out all the stops. Chord's offense is especially crisp tonight, and he has a lot of success early on. Bach finds his rhythm though, and – backed by his huge following – he is able to push through the early adversity. As we push through the 20-minute barrier, things start to get really crazy, with many near falls, and Chord even getting out of a Bach on Your Back. Bach is swiftly punished for failing to seal the deal as Chord hits him with a Cradle Piledriver for the win. The crowd is still noticeably exhausted from the match between Chord and Bach, and many fans are still upset with Bach's loss. The match gives the crowd a little breather, as Tana and Peak start off slow, with both men trying not to make a mistake early. The match is captivating as a continuation of their factions' feud, but the action in the ring is somewhat lacking. In the end, Peak manages to hit the Peak of Perfection without too much resistance, and he's able to salvage the honor of the Sinner Society. Winner: Eddie Peak via pinfall in 15:41 59</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #e5e5e5; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> ANDREWS IS CONFIDENT Before the main event, we see Andrews backstage in the last stages of his warm up. Next up is the "Ace" Aaron Andrews, who is welcomed by the fans with a huge ovation, and the biggest pop of the night. The referee, Charles Hapstander, goes over the rules again, and moments later we're underway. We start off slow, with both men testing the waters, neither of whom willing to engage first. After the two finally lock up, Taylor manages to strike first. However, it is Andrews who quickly takes over the match. Taylor gets stronger as the match continues and he even manages to entangle Andrews in a Butterfly Lock. But not for long. Andrews breaks free and manages to hit Taylor with a Standing Hot Show followed by a Flying Body Press. This match is over. Andrews makes defense number six of his title. When the lights come back we see Wolf Hawkins standing right behind the champ. Andrews looks confused as the fans yell at him to turn around. But when he finally realizes what's going on it's too late. Hawkins clocks Andrews from behind and swarms him as he falls to the ground. He continues his assault even after Andrews stops moving. Even after the security personnel arrive, they hardly manage to get Hawkins off of Andrews. One has to wonder what RDJ has to say about this, given that Hawkins is still suspended. We'll hopefully get some answers soon. It's pretty hard to figure out who out of my "Stars" or "Well Knowns" has the highest perception, according to the Pop x Momentum formula laid out in the handbook. It would function just as when you sort promotions by popularity.

The fairly bland Honeyman shows early why he has been touted as one of the most technically gifted talents in the Mid Atlantic circuit. Sandman Winks and The Historian will try to prevent them from making too good of a first impression as they are set to fight for the first time this year. The Historian and Winks gain the upper hand early, and their experience as a team is enough to remain one step ahead of their opponents. All three men are eager to impress, and the match has a very fast pace from the get go. Copperhead looks very good out there, and his never-say-die attitude makes him the most dangerous out of the three combattants. However, Martins and Guillotine are able to counter Copperhead's offense by their sheer physical superiority. After they team up briefly to throw Copperhead out of the ring, it is Martins who manages to pin Guillotine after a perfectly timed Flying Forearm. Martins makes defense number one of his title. DeMarcus & Gray are coming off their hard-fought win against the Wolf Pack in January and are set to make defense number two of their titles. The match is pretty open, with both teams getting in some great offense. Shortly after the 10-minute mark, though, the tide shifts when Whitehead gets knocked out cold on the outside floor. The two men have been on a collision course since Jacobs cost Fforde the title at Where It All Begins Again. Jacobs – who is a former Mid Atlantic American title holder, but has yet to win the big one – will try to cement his name by beating the former champ. The match is a lot of fun, with a lot of back and forth action. Fforde is the more dynamic competitor, but Jacobs is smartly bending the rules to his advantage. A distraction of the referee gives Jacobs the opportunity for a low blow. The Canadian Backdrop follows, and Jacobs is set to get the upset. Fforde is able to get his shoulder up in the final split second, though, and Jacobs is furious. He gets up to argue with the ref, but Fforde rolls him up for a quick 1-2-3. The feud between the two teams has only intensified after The Architect managed to eliminate Liotta from the Rip Chord Invitational. Today the Heartbreak Express get their chance at revenge. In the beginning, The Scheme manage to control the pace of the match, but The Heartbreak Express get stronger as the match continues. After getting hit by a couple of moonsaults, The Architect rolls out of the ring to recover. In the ring Liotta is able to hit a Swinging Neckbreaker on Pilgrim. The champ, Bradley Blaze, will defend his title against Cheetah Boy for the second time in a row. The last match was very competitive, with Blaze winning after Cheetah spent too much time arguing with the referee instead of trying to finish the match. This time, Cheetah has promised to be completely focused on the goal at hand – becoming the new champ. Cheetah manages to overwhelm Blaze early, and even manages to hit a Flying Cheetah Pounce, but Blaze manages to get his leg on the rope to break the count. Blaze continues to struggle, but manages to recover enough to get in some offense of his own. Getting stronger and stronger as the match goes on, Blaze is finally able to overcome the early struggles when he finishes Cheetah with a Dallas Drop. Blaze makes defense number three of his title. It's becoming obvious as to why he wasn't all that interested in making the save for his team, as he seems to have his eyes firmly set on bigger plans. He continues to assault Blaze in the ring, with the latter too tired to fight back, only leaving when half the locker room comes out to break up the fight. 37</div> SHOW RATING 42</div>
