Taken over Bellator just before the PFL purchase and am trying to keep them afloat and have them rise up and compete against the likes of ONE, PFL etc.
About a year in and in general have made a profit, but each month can vary between a loss and a profit. Have to be really careful with the cost of the cards and how much I pay to new signings. PFL have had big problems somehow, despite their large budget, so without really trying I've managed to overtake them, whilst ONE have been putting on some great events and are the number 2 company.
I've really focused on fighters under 30 to sign. Mainly due to them being cheap, but having the longevity and potential to develop.Champions wise, there have been some surprise changes. Pico beat Freire for the Featherweight Belt, and Sergio Pettis lost to Danny Sabatello for the Bantamweight belt in a big shock. Amasov failed a drugs test, so a returning MVP is facing Douglas Lima in a grudge match for the interim-welterweight title.

I have played WMMA since the first game, but usually tailed off my time quite quickly as I used to play TEW much more. But since TEW 2020 came out I have got back into WMMA much more and completely stopped playing TEW. It would be better if the game world had more life to it like in TEW and quicker load times. But I still find WMMA 5 probably the best game that Adam Ryland has made. If boxing, bare knuckle etc could be added in some way to the game world that would be a huge boost and flesh the game out even more.

Being able to actually book specific arenas and venues like in TEW 2020 would be great. To sell out Madison Square Garden would be a great accomplishment.

This wouldn't reflect reality though as Japanese companies do sign people for multiple years.
-
Currently workers can work for two companies on different sides of the planet on consecutive days and there doesn't seem to be any negative effect or limitations on them.
It would be nice for the next game to have some sort of limit on this to reflect reality. When wrestlers are taking over 24 hours to travel, it's not very realistic for the game to let people compete anywhere on consecutive days.

Great work on the mod as always.
Few things I've noticed which may help. Some may be spoilers if people don't know, so don't read on if you don't want to know.
The excursions for NJPW need reviewing as most are back now.
Suzuki-gun has sadly disbanded, and apparently Dangerous Tekkers too, but may be worth waiting to see if this is a swerve of some kind.
Dragone Lee has signed for WWE and starts in NXT.
Sasha Banks has signed a multi appearance deal with Bushiroad for NJPW which does include a Stardom appearance.
Anderson and Gallows have left NJPW, with Anderson fulfilling the Wrestle Kingdom appearance and then he's gone.
NJPW seem much more willing for talent to take dates elsewhere, so trading agreements may be worth adding or contracts changing. AJPW and Noah have utilized this for their December events.
Mariah May and Xia Brookside have signed with Stardom apparently.

Loving the update, thank you for all the hard work you guys do.
A few things from Japan that you may want to add for the future if you guys have time;
Zeus has a contact with AJPW, but he's with Osaka Pro, part owner and booker I think.
Ren Narita is on excursion but has a contract with NJPW, I think that was meant to be with NJoA
Chris Dickinson has signed a deal with NJPW and they will be his priority. It seems it's with the main NJPW brand, not NJoA. May be worth waiting to see if the allegations about him affect things.
Probably worth changing Shibata to Occasional Wrestler at most, he's still not back wrestling full time.
Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher (Aussie Open) wrestled at Windy City Riot but don't have any contracts with NJPW. They were with the rest of the United Empire, minus Akira.
Someone has already posted the BOSJ additions from outside the recent NJPW roster.
Mikey Nicholls is listed as a member of Chaos. He hasn't been on any New Japan shows in quite a while.
Taka appears to be back with New Japan and as a member of Suzuki-gun again.
Hyper Battle has 4 nights, but no fifth night at Ryogoku. Probably worth setting the first four nights as Road to Shows.
The schedule for NJPW needs updating with the main events like BOSJ, G1 etc going back to their usual times of the year.
Wrestling Dontaku Spoilers (fantastic event, NJPW back to their pre-covid ways);
Tama Tonga won the Never Openweight Title, Anderson and Gallows appeared after as members of Bullet Club and attacked him. Anderson and Tama will face off at Dominion for the belt. Was a bit awkward when Anderson posed with the Never 6 man belt instead of the actual Never Openweight belt.
Ishimori won the Jnr Heavyweight Belt.
Fale and Owens won the IWGP Tag Belts.
Tanahashi is the new IWGP US Champion after beating Ishii in a great match. Juice Robinson attacked him afterwards and was revealed as the newest member of Bullet Club, he isn't leaving New Japan anytime soon, exact length of his contract hasn't been officially revealed.
Jay White appeared at the end of the Okada/Naito match and attacked Okada, he's finally back in Japan.
-
Gallows and Anderson have re-signed with NJPW and will be appearing in Japan, not just on strong.

Did a search, but didn't see this posted before.
Have an option in contracts for exclusivity in the country your company is in. Basically they can't work for any other promotion in the country that the company is in, but can work for companies in other countries. It's very common in the real world for workers to have this.
Obviously in the current system it wouldn't matter for exclusive written contracts, but for the non-exclusive contracts it would be great if it was implemented and add a lot of realism.
Having someone based in the USA work for 4 Japanese companies (as what happens in the game) is extremely unrealistic.
Also, having an option in the non-exclusive contracts to make the company their priority. This is also quite common in the real world. Chris Dickinson has just done this with NJPW I believe.

<p>NJPW and NOAH will be doing a combined show for night 3 of Wrestle Kingdom in January. No card details announced yet, but apparently all tickets that were on sale have gone.</p><p> </p><p>
Kenta returns to Pro Wrestling Noah on 1 January at the Nippon Budokan. Not sure if this is a one show return or will be there for a few shows.</p>

Not sure if it's been posted in the thread yet, but OTT are closed in the mod but are definitely open in real life and running events. Same for CZW. ICW (the UK one) appear to have events scheduled in February. OTT also don't seem to have an image for the World Title.
Keep up the great work with the mod, looking forward to the next release.

So, after many years of reading other peoples diaries I've decided to finally have a go at one myself. I am a big NJPW fan and after seeing how Covid has affected them I've decided to try and revitalise them. I am not great with graphics and things like that, so I apologise if some of the presentation will appear basic in comparison with some of the other diaries which have fantastic presentation.
I will follow the real life issues with Covid, adding some extra realism about who can and can't appear in Japan. Covid will slowly start to affect the game less and less over the coming months (hopefully like real life). BOSJ and World Tag League will be following the real world format, although with probably slightly different competitors. As the game progresses, after a few months I will start to have more non-Japanese touring with the company.
Due to real world issues, such as work and family, the updates unfortunately won't be daily and sometimes may just be once a week at best. Please don't worry if I am quiet on here, it's just because of real world stuff. The diary will continue as and when I can.
The start date will be after Power Struggle, so the champions have been updated, as has ROH and their latest news, and all the latest WWE releases. I won't be using the KOPW title. I'm playing as Gedo and will be using the NJPW style as much as possible of announcing matches and things like that.
Champions
IWGP World Heavyweight Champion
Shingo Takagi
NEVER Openweight Champion
Jay White
IWGP United States Champion
Kenta
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion
El Desperado
IWGP Tag Team Champions
Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions
Robbie Eagles & Tiger Mask IV
NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team
Evil & Sho & Yujiro Takahashi

Me and my friend are trying to play a multiplayer game over zoom with each of us controlling a fed.
One person would host the game and the zoom call, giving the other control over zoom on their computer to do their bits when it was their turn.
Well, that was the plan. But it didn't work. We tried both of us hosting the call and game, but when the other person not hosting has control they can move the mouse and click on other things on the desktop, but for some reason they can't click on anything on TEW at all. Nothing works. Tried skype as well and that didn't work. Typing on notepad works fine and clicking on other things works, just not TEW.
Does anybody know the fix for how to get it working so we can play over zoom, or a different online meeting program?
-
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but the Indian Youtube Broadcasters have coverage not in India, or in India and a second region.
-
Excellent mod! The work you and the other modders do on this board is amazing!
Just a couple of things for NJPW, some of the events are on the wrong days. Like the final few nights of the G1. The are usually back to back to back with the G1 final, three days in a row. Wrestle Kingdom only being 1 night on the mod.
It was the same for Dragongate and AJPW too, but also some of the event nights change from lesser, to normal to tour for the same tours.
NJPW has New Year Dash as a tour event, it's a standalone event itself that kicksoff new feuds etc, lesser event might be better. New Japan Cup is listed as a lesser event, but is one of the larger tournaments in NJPW.
I know in your notes you said that you still had some events to finish, so guessing this is what you meant.
http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=547950 Whilst not 100% accurate. It may be of some help as a guide to get some of the events more in line with the days they appear on and the length of the tours.
Really hope that doesn't come across as complaining because the mod is really good.

I'm starting a AAA game using Real World Chronicles mod, please could I have some rules for it?
