  2. What happens if you hire a wrestler as 'Whatever is needed' and you want use him as a backstage personality? Will he get angry at you?

I'm playing as QAW and want to have a 'himbo' backstage interviewer, just a real high sex appeal, good on the mic, etc. I can't find any personalities or managers with those attributes, but I found some young wrestlers that fit the bill. Can I get away with hiring them? Will they get angry with me if they're not wrestling?

  5. I’m having consistent problems with booking storylines where I have a baby face champion. With a heel champion I can at least have outside interference or a DQ finish to prolong the feud to the next PPV, and I always tend to favour a baby face chasing the title.

My question is, what are some good ways to prolong a feud when you have a baby face champion retaining a title?

I'm going to give away the match finish I'm most proud of coming up with, hope you enjoy it.

Babyface Champion Alina America is defending against the winner of the QotR Tournament, Heel Foxxy Larue.

Long, competitive match, ref bump, Foxxy's sidekick Toni Parissi grabs the belt and slides it in to Foxxy. Foxxy swings it at America, who ducks, kicks Foxxy in the gut, Foxxy drops the belt right in front of her and America hits a DDT right on the belt as the ref wakes up and sees it, calling for the DQ! Foxxy is busted open and lays there bleeding and knocked out, America looks guilty but like it was an accident. Refs and road agents come out and check on her, looking concerned as the show goes off the air.

Next show Foxxy comes out with a big bandage on her forehead claiming that she is not medically cleared because of stitches/staples, accuses America of taking the easy way out and getting herself intentionally disqualified because she was too afraid to face her heads up and lose her title.

Depending on your schedule, this buys you a couple of shows where your heel challenger has an excuse for not wrestling but can still cut promos while the face defends herself by insisting it was an accident. Take it from there.

  6. First thing I do is ignore what most of the shows' 'AI instructions' are. My shows are main evented by my top stars competing for the world title. Period, end of. Battle royals are a great way to bomb a show rating (Main Event Spotlight) so I always put what I expect to be the best match on the card, on last. The winner of Battlebowl gets their pick of which title they choose to challenge for, at Showdown. It could be the QAW World title or the alliance world title or even one of the floating titles whose prestige gets high. Basically like the Royal Rumble. Crowning the Queen I've split into two nights (Prelude and Finale) and that will tend to have the most highly skilled matchups I can produce (ala WK and Omega-Okada or Jericho-Okada at Dominion). So say, Alicia Strong vs Steffi Chee. Or Sara Marie York vs Foxxy Larue. As for the tournament, I have most of it on the Prelude show and the finals as the semi-main of the Finale show. Qualifiers occur starting the first TV show after Starshow and I use the qualifying matches as a way to fill TV time. Plus, my roster is massive so I can run those for six months easily.

I get that, and I'll ignore it if it says 'All 3v3 matches' or something like that, but a Rumble and a Tournament are important enough to the company that I feel I have to honor those.

Just ran BattleBowl and got a 54 for the actual match, which isn't terrible. America is still champ, fending off Emma May in some great matches that got May up to Major Star.

I'm running 2 shows a month and got on WrestleWorld in April to give me time to build a little cushion financially. One is the regular show and the other I call 'On The Road' where they go outside of Texas but still in Mid South (Colorado, Kansas, NM, OK, etc) Having a lot of fun with this company, I'll probably start writing up a dynasty once I hit the 1 year mark.

  7. I could use some help naming a talk show segment in QAW with Millie the Minx.

She's basically a shit-stirring heel who plays practical jokes and generally gets a kick out of poking at people, but in like a mischievous way. The kind of person who would say stuff like "Are you going to let her talk to you like that?" in hopes of egging on a fight, then sit back and watch the fight with a big grin on her face. Any ideas?

  8. Can someone who is more experienced with QAW help me out?

I'm wondering how you all run the QotR Tournament? May is a Battle Royal, I'm assuming its winner gets a title shot at the June show? But then we've got the Tournament on the July show. Is it an 8 person tournament or 4? Do you all have qualifiers on the June show and then the semifinals and finals on the July show? Is the champion in the Tournament or do they have a token defense against someone else like the WWE does at the Royal Rumble? Does the QotR winner then get a title shot at the next show?

  9. Sooo I'm playing as South Beach Pro, a custom company using willr0ck's logo and belt set. I want to host a tournament but need a good name for it. I would use King of South Beach, but that's the name of the main title. Ocean Drive is the name of the second title as well.

Anything centered around Miami, South Beach, Vice City, etc. is acceptable!

If it has any kind of latin flavor, you could do 'El Rey de Miami'. Maybe the South Beach Invitational?

  10. I hire a backstage interviewer and include them in the Freestyle angles because I don't think it's very realistic to think that every backstage interview is just going to be a wrestler talking into a camera randomly.

Every TV show starts with a 1 minute minor angle where the announcers welcome the audience and hype up the Main Event. Every B Show has a 1 minute minor angle where the major happenings of the last A Show gets recapped.
