  1. If you just recently downloaded them, right click on the icon and check properties to make sure that Windows itself isn't blocking it because "This came from the internet".
  2. Every time I try to invite ECW or any other promotion to join the NWA in a WCW game, NJPW rejects it.
  3. Started a ROH game, and a couple of things stood out. One, the schedule isn't fixed, so the AI adds events to the calendar. It's able to do this because, two, setting events as special sets them to dormant to start the game (and also erases when they occur). You might want to switch the from special to annual that goes dormant the month after. Still, having fun with this. Thank you.
  4. Both Ivan Putski and Paul Roma are set to heels when they should be faces. The other thing is Cable TV. I get the idea of making Prime Time Television the A-show, since that's typically where you could see MSG, Boston Garden, & Spectrum matches and I think that's a good work around. The problem I have is that at that point in history, cable hasn't reached 50% market penetration. At the same time, over the air broadcasting is still king and syndication should be reflective of that.
  5. It got removed due to using other people's data without permission.
  6. In the Events & TV section of your office, at the very bottom left, is the Availability button. This will tell you which talent will be absent that day. Talent are going to go to biggest promotion available, so you have to plan around them. Nope. You can use notes like Keep Strong and Protect to try and talk Shida into taking the L, but that's about it. If you can't find it, you can just create it. Just keep in mind your product settings and broadcaster content limits when building it.
  7. If the manager has significantly more popularity then their client, it's fine to go with not rating them in the angle. If they're about the same,, then you could just rate them on Overness. 60% or higher of every rating is made up over Overness, so that should be determining whether or not to rate someone in an angle.
  8. If there's not a significant difference in popularity, sure. Or rate the worker on star quality/looks/charisma/intimidation while the manager does the talking.
  9. I've found this thread very helpful when I go for match aims.
  10. Of the historical mods, the 91 one is really good, as is the 97 one. 92 is a work in progress, but keeps getting better in every iteration. There are 93, 95, and 96 mods, but they're what I characterize as lumps of clay: tons of potential, but not a lot of refinement. There's also beta's of 98 and 99 out there, but they can be limited. There's also several what-if scenarios if you want to check those out.
  11. Afternoon: 12-3 PM Early Evening: 3-5 PM Evening: 5-7 PM Prime Time: 7-9 PM Late Evening: 9-11 PM Late Night: 11 PM- AM Graveyard: 1 AM-5 AM On Demand: Anytime, but only caters to existing fanbase
  12. After you add in the new pictures in the pictures folder, just go into the save in game, go to options, click the "change pictures" option, and select the same pic pack that you were already using. It will update with the new pictures included.
  13. Absences like being on Hiatus are treated like injuries now. You can still edit some aspects of a contract like wages and perks, but not the type of contract someone has. But you can still edit whether a worker a worker is retired or semi-active or what not in the workers tab, but if their contract doesn't have a check mark for in-ring roles, you still can't use them. Also, welcome back.
  14. When you scroll through the various product settings, you can see the ratios matches are rated on.
  15. Since ladder matches already existed, I'm going to assume that it's the multi-man part that's too much. In that case... 16-man qualifying singles matches. 8-man Lethal Lottery. The winning partners fight each other next week, and the winners of those matches have a ladder match at the PPV to grab the Golden Ticket.
  16. Just turn off Owner goals, then turn them on again the next day. New goals, new problems.
  17. Levesque can be changed to an active worker in the in-game editor, but definitely something to look at. Another thing that needs to be looked at is race. Both Hugo Sanovich and Carlos Cabrera are listed as Pacific Americans and Booker T and Dwayne Johnson are listed as white.

  19. TBS and Turner Premier are both under the same media umbrella in every 90's mod I've seen, so you might want to have a look there. If Turner Premier doesn't exist, or you're too small to sign with them, you're basically screwed because the game doesn't let you sign with any other broadcaster if you're owned by a media group and they have coverage in the area.
  20. Yes, they have to finish out their exclusive written contract before they can go to a new employer. You can find out how long that contract has left in the in-game editor.
  21. Looking at the products, 2 things stick out: 1) The shift in match rating ratio from 30/70 (in-ring/pop) to either 40/60 or 55/45. 2) The amount of time each product takes to get world-class scores: WSO takes 5, WNN takes 20. So shifting from a product that requires more popularity to one that requires better in-ring work is going to knock your score down. Also, take a look at the road agent notes and the show summary to get some insight into why the matches and show were rated that way.
