I can't help to replay Zigglers win.. Just look at that man in that moment. That's years of love for wrestling right there, the childhood dreams coming true.. Second World title reign, I don't think he even counts the first one (that was awarded to him by Vickie after DQ'ng Edge by using the spear) since he lost to Edge in the same night and thus had zero defences of the belt.
Wouldn't it be good to be in your shoes Ziggler.
Post-RAW Cena promo / more crowd action. Love it!
Thanks for these - love that train ride!! Reminds me of the 90s coming back from Grateful Dead shows at Madison Square Garden with everyone singing Casey Jones or Big Railroad Blues at the top of their lungs!!
-
Poor wrestlemania - hugely entertaining raw. What a bonkers crowd. Love it. Ziggler finally rewarded for his hard work.
Crazy fun crowd!! I loved the sing-along to Fandango's music I really hope this is picked up by other crowds. Randy Savage chant! They were really top notch all evening. Went into business for themselves and stole the show.

Anyone else hear JBL say "sell that" when they showed the replay of Jericho's knee injury?

That might be the only thing close, WWWF & then WWF I think used to hold monthly shows there so Bruno has to be on top.</p>

I think they've been hinting at this recently too with Cole saying that Bryan was stupid to let the whole world know when he was going to cash in because that took the element of surprise out of it. Someone at WWE must have little faith in Bryan challenging for the title at WM as a big-time match.
-
I'm still having a hard time with Cole & Lawler being so chummy chummy at the announce table when they had a blood feud for months.
-
But if Del Rio wins both World Titles are on Raw.
And both secondary titles would be on SD. Still a maybe in my mind.
-
Interesting drafts:
Cena & Orton to SD - Raw just lost its top 2 faces (oh wait, nope Cena's back on Raw - is that legal? Shou'dn't his name have been removed after his first move?). Now they need Chris Jericho on Raw to fill Orton's spot.
Del Rio to Raw - Wow, didn't expect that.
And WTF with Mark Henry's same-team rampage!
So maybe now, even though it seemed to me like Christian was going to get the belt at Extreme Rules, maybe Del Rio wins, he works a program with Cena in which Cena eventually becomes champion so that the World title is on the line with Rock at WM next year.
Mark Henry did that rampage for the memory of Vladimir Kozlov!
-
And also, really hope WWE uses the draft to break up Vickie and "new Dolph."

You know as soon as I found out she was going to be on this show, I knew one way or the other Jonny Fairplay would make his way onto the show. Granted it was only over the phone talking to her but I knew he would show up.
Jonny posted on the PW Torch forums that that segment on the phone was heavily edited. He said that he and the daughter were saying "I love you" to Michelle for 10 minutes but it was cut to look like he came across as just saying "ya whatever, later."
I like how Tough Enough has been going. Seemed weird they would eliminate the Jersey Shore-type guy just after having Snookie in a featured match at WM a couple of weeks ago, but whatever. He could have been good for more out-of-ring/house drama even if he's just standard in the ring.
I love that after the judges talk Stone Cold has the final word and they all get that final chance to defend themselves. That's what's been really cool about the show for me.

which battle royal was this?
I'm SOOO out of it for some reason I thought Kane & Big Show were in APPLE. But it was Mark Henry doing the spot I thought was Kane, and Big Show wasn't even there.
-
I was watching Smackdown, not Raw
lol
I was bummed that the APPLE members didn't work together during the battle royal.
-
I ended up realizing I haven't watched Smackdown from Friday yet. I'm watching Edge's speech and I'm getting teary eyed again. He's always been in my top ten favorites, even top five. WWE really isn't going to be the same without him.
*edit*
Also, just saw that Josh Matthews was on Facebook during the battle royal. Good to see he has to keep up with social networking while commentating
I think RAW was actually pre-taped this week.
-
Wow, John Morrison sure is in the doghouse, huh?
Snubbing Trish and letting Batista et al have their way with Melina sure put him on the company's bad side...
Oh, wait! He's in a PPV WWE Title match.
At least nothing has changed in the world of dirtsheet credibility!
Yeah really.
Although, supposedly according to some of those rags "smoking" is a huge pet peeve of Vince's. So maybe this is all along the lines of the corny worked shoots they've been doing lately. Especially since, like BHK said, there is kind of a social stigma against smokers right now. Ooooh, he smokes. He must be a heel. That sort of thing.
-
HHH said he would die trying, why did he tap then instead of going to sleep?
-
Cena hasn't specifically said that he will win the title at WM, either. That's usually an unwritten babyface rule not to promise what you won't deliver.
-
When someone says if I don't win I will quit you give them a title match no matter what their current record is, that is part of wrestling 101.
Good point. And, I suppose, this might open a door for Evan Bourne who got that cheap win over Sheamus at the end of Feb.
-
Sheamus v Bryan was good. I was warming to the Sheamus "down on his luck" storyline. Much better than DiBiase's fall into obscurity, where only a face turn can save him.
I mean, I know it's "only" the US title, but how did Sheamus who was on a losing streak and getting faced through a table by HHH a week or two ago "earn" a title match? Did I miss back story to that?
-
Think there will be any Nexus vs. Corre at Elimination Chamber? They teased it at the beginning of RR and have never gone back since I believe.
-
So a delay in the court date, but a possible plea deal? Maybe the plea includes no jail time, which is why TNA pulled the trigger?
Another delay?
I would have to think you're onto something there. In my mind they can't have the title flip again so soon at Victory Road. But this is TNA, who really knows.
-
So what are some thoughts from TNA die-hards about putting the belt back on Hardy? Was there anything up with Anderson behind-the-scenes or does the whole Fortune split force them to put the belt back on Hardy so that Immortal has some gold? Would have liked to see a nice long Mr. Anderson run but where does he go from here?
-
Last year at this time there were rumors that Warrior might be going into the HOF. How crazy would it be if it was Ultimate Warrior?
Otherwise, Rock or Justin Bieber are my guesses.
-
So even if some of the fans were booing JBL because they didn't like the person, that's still real heat, in fact, I'd argue that's better heat than the standard post-kayfabe heat, where somebody like Jericho gets booed but a fraction of the crowd loves him and thinks he's the best ever.
To pull this out of context a bit, shouldn't that mean that Bubba the Love Sponge should still be with TNA? That guy might have brought the most "real heat" in recent memory just by being there!
