  1. Hypothetical question.  If I have an old school promotion in my database, a defunct promotion that was important to the industry years ago but is well out of the game now, but another promotion that is an active force in the game world owns the IP of the promotion, the championship belts, the video tape history, the legacy, all that....  what edits would I have to make in-game to reflect that?  Company relationships was the first thing that occurred to me... but first thing I saw there was each company's opinion of the other, and that didn't seem like something that would matter here.  Made me think I was in the wrong place.

  2. Color me impressed!  I just made this vintage All-Star Wrestling logo for an old school promotion in my database.  What surprised me most about this: the prompt I put in was only "Vintage ASW logo".  Nothing else, didn't even mention what the ASW stood for, and it came out with this.  Well, four similar versions of this.  I went with the one with correct spelling.

They're not perfect, but AI is never going to be perfect...

Seem close enough to perfect for me!  Plus, I figure that once I scale 'em down to TEW proportions, any imperfections will be even that much harder to see.  Many thanks for this, it is most appreciated!  Speaking of AI never being perfect, you should have seen one of the TakeDown results I had to pass on.  It was good, darn good/  I was actually going to go with it, till I noticed there was a mysterious fifth leg in the picture.  Of the two guys it had wrestling, it was hard to tell which one it was supposed to be connected to... but it would have been out of place either way.

  4. Hopefully, this isn't something I'm not supposed to do, my apolgies if it is.  I've been messing around with the Bing AI image generator and came up with the two logos below for my promotion's TV shows BreakThrough TV and TakeDown TV.  Really like both logos, but was hoping I could somehow A) have the AI generated text cleaned up a bit, (these two are pretty close to right, just a little bit of the AI-ese on a letter or two), and B) somehow have the promotion logo Kam made for me... somewhere in the neighborhood of 109 years ago at this point involved somehow.

The name of the promotion is Pro-Wrestling MAX, for the record, and the shows are MAX BreakThrough TV and MAX TakeDown TV.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who takes a shot at this.

My hope was that getting AI to put in some work on the logos would limit the work I'd have to ask someone else to put in on these.

Honestly I can see both sides of the AI thing.

On the side of making graphics from scratch/renders in DAZ etc. it really can be soul crushing when you've invested 100's of hours into making graphics for the community only to have all of your work getting replaced by AI stuff. I've been making graphics for you guys on here for a long time and it doesn't motivate me too much to keep doing it knowing that it will just get passed over for AI generated stuff.

On the flip side, this is the new, awesome thing that everyone is super into. It's like a brand new toy at Christmas, it's just too much fun to not play with it despite still loving your old toys. It's addicting to me as well and I want to play with the shiny new toy! So I understand the love it's getting on the boards. Plus not everyone can make logos, belts or renders. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of practice and in the render department it takes a lot of money to acquire the assets needed to make cool stuff. With AI everyone who wants to be creative can be, and that is awesome. So if this is the direction that TEW goes moving forward then that works for me.

I have definitely very much appreciated the efforts of all the graphics makers on the board over the years, (renders, logos, championship belts, everything), and will always be a big fan of "the human touch" with these things.  This AI thing has been a real boon for my own personal database though.  It'd be borderline insane of me to ask someone to make tons and tons of renders for my own database that I may or may not ever complete, much less release.  These AI images have helped me out a ton with that aspect anyway.

  6. My prompt:

    Quote

Retired wrestler.  53 year old white American male.  Has blonde hair.  Has green eyes.  Wears a necklace and a white t-shirt under a leather jacket.  Close-up headshot.  3D Render.  Daz 3D.

... Seems to be a one way ticket to the doggie.  Not sure why.

On a completely random whim, though, I did say just the right thing to get Bing to squeeze out this cool little dude, whom I have for the time being dubbed Mad Man Mikey.

Haven't decided yet, for now just random people who I felt like kinda fit in in terms of lighting, shadows, skin reflections and so on.

After seeing it in this thread I tried out creating wrestlers from scratch including their name, size, moves and biography as well as their picture and what can I say ... I love it! Here's one I liked.

    E4aQbAX.jpg

    Name: Kenji "Kaminari" Sato
    Height: 5'11"
    Weight: 215 lbs
    Physique: Athletic, Resilient

Kenji Sato, bearing the ring name "Kaminari," which means thunder, stands at an athletic 5'11" and weighs in at 215 lbs. His presence is marked by his thunderbolt-emblazoned gear and a shock of white hair that stands out against his otherwise traditional appearance. His style is an amalgamation of strong-style puroresu and technical wrestling, demonstrating both his striking power and submission expertise.

"Kaminari's" finishing move, the "Thunder Strike," is a devastating lariat that echoes his namesake. His signature moves include the "Lightning Lock," a submission that showcases his grappling skills, and the "Electric Spiral," a dizzying spinning suplex.

Sato's journey into wrestling began in the rough-and-tumble dojos of Tokyo, where his heart and unyielding determination made him a standout. A wrestling promoter visiting the dojo saw potential in his raw talent and unbreakable spirit, offering him a spot on the roster. Despite being a lower to midcard talent, "Kaminari" electrifies the crowd, bringing the energy of a tempest to every match.

Which AI system did you say you used for this?

And also, did you come up with the name or did the AI?

I've been spectacularly satisfied with the pictures my AI efforts have been coming up with of late, and I've been thinking a lot about trying to my hand at the bios thing as well.  It's kind of a thrill when you see yourself getting closer and closer to whatever it is you were going for,

I'm not having luck with ai, so hoping someone can give me a bit of guidance. I'm trying to generate two workers, one is a muscular guy about Randy Savage's size, but where's a mask with the Union Jack on it. The other worker is a body builder type worker with Union Jack facepaint.

Any chance someone would be down to DM me and help me figure AI out for myself?

I was going to try out the prompt:

"Wrestler.  40 year old muscular white male.  He wears a mask with the Union Jack on the front."

But it told me I can't put in any more prompts just now, so I'm not sure if that one would be helpful or not.  Still learning all this myself.

EDIT:  Seems I can submit more prompts after all.  Got this result.  Forgot the whole headshot, 3d render, daz 3d thing though, because I got in a hurry.  Came up with this one first.

Thanks for this, it is most appreciated.  I have tried in various ways to change up the words, but for whatever reason, it hadn't occurred to me to change up the way I was putting it.  I'll be trying a lot more of it this way moving forward.

EDIT:  Dang, not only has this prompt style taken pretty good care of these two characters, it's just knocked out another one that I've been having my troubles with.  Thanks again for this.

    Can you show the prompt?

"Retired wrestler, 50 year old white American male. Buzz cut.  Hazel eyes.  Necklace.  White shirt. Jacket.  Determined.  Headshot.  3D Render.  Daz 3D. "

That was the one I used for one of them.  The other was along those lines.  A lot of my wrestler prompts have been along these very lines, and for most of the ones I've come up with, it's come up just fine.  With these last two though, like two or three good results out of... numerous attempts.

  11. Bing has been frustrating the everloving daylights out of me these past two days.  I have these two characters I've been trying to create, nothing too far out of the realm of normalcy for either of those, and yet, without fail, every prompt I put in calls out No-No, the world-famous danger dog of unsafe images.  I have no idea why, I haven't put in anything that should be anything bad, far as I can tell.

  12. Neither CornellVerse nor TEW, nor even wrestling related, but... I came up with these, and felt like they needed sharing.  The City Of Hawthorne, which has lived in my imagination for like 10 years now.

Thought about creating a seperate thread for pictures like these, perhaps in the Dog Pound, but didn't know if that was the thing to do or not.

  13. Here's one of my latest efforts at a specific character from my own database, that I think is pretty close to what I was going for.  I was actually a little scared to try for this one, as I was worried his heterochromia situation, which was a creative point I REALLY didn't want to budge on - it's not terribly important to his character or anything, it's just a physical trait that I added whenever I first came up with him way back when, and liked - that I thought might be very problematic for an image generator.

Sometimes it ignored it completely, sometimes it included it, but made it look way too pronounced and I thought it looked fake.  In this one though, I think it came out all right.

Seeing a lot of range in AI. TEW has a lot of nationalities without content such as Cook Islanders and Afghan people. Beyond that is the potential to create content for the Comic and MMA games.

One of these, the one that looks the least human, looks an awful lot like one of the Iconians my brave Captain and his fearless crew had to face down in the wonderful world of Star Trek Online.  Had no idea you could create something like that on here!  Pretty cool!

  15. Generator seems down at the moment, at least for me.  I finally tried the Daz 3d prompt last night, and was pretty happy with the results I got.  Had one wrestler I came up with... years and years ago come out... pretty much the way I've envisioned him in my imagination.  It was cool.  Haven't tried any more logos, belts, or trophies just yet, but I'd imagine I will, and I look forward to the results.

  16. The Black Lion Brigade logo is on point!

I haven't had much luck with logos so far.  Had one that looked pretty nice, but the writing was in AI-ese, so I'm not sure what I could do with that.  I will keep trying though.

Also, strange, tonight, I'm getting the Unsafe thing - I'll call him the Ding Dang DANGEROUS!  Doggo! - on the exact same prompt that get solid results multiple times before.

    Weird...weird.

Bing has blocked 95% of my prompts today and in my frustration I typed “Bing ai sucks” into the prompt box…. Account Suspended, lol. It’s only an hour but it’s funny that this was my first suspension ever in all my years of using the internet.

I didn't even know that this was something you could get suspended from.  What you typed sounds like something I would type in such a promptbox in a situation like that.

Blood Raven Alt                         Acid II                          Blue Wolf Alt                   Blue Dragon Alt

Love these!   Blue Phantom is amazing, and Acid II is a bad man!  Love all these.

I've been getting some pretty amazing results with "Headshot.  3D render.  Blank background."  So far, I've gotten like EXACT renders for some characters that have until now lived only in my imagination!  It's unreal.
