I don't know how much. Try it yourself in exh. mode. You'll see the "tired" notes come earlier in the 1x60 min. match.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Ok good to know, thanks!</p>
  2. Do fighters gain energy between rounds? Would a fighter be less worn out over 6x10min rounds as opposed to 1x60min round? I assume that's the case but not sure.
  3. This has probably been asked a million times, but can someone explain crowd management? I understand the basics, but I have questions: 1. What's the difference between working the crowd and lifting the crowd? How would they typically be used? How do you know when a crowd is too hot? 2. I notice that I always see messages like "this match got the crowd hotter", is that related to the "heat" of a match? I ask because the momentum of wrestlers going into a match can also be "heated" (booking a white hot vs. a red hot, for example). In my 5SSW games, I usually only book 3-4 matches per TV show as follows: Main Event: Stars vs. Stars, called in ring, (sometimes steal the show) Semi: Mixture of Stars and Well Knowns (sometimes steal the show) Mid: Recognizable talent Opening: Mixture of known and unknown talent Does heat management even come into play for me? I notice some matches occasionally have decent heat, but I've never seen more than that. I do see a lot of times that my main event will leave the crowd buzzing, which I assume means the crowd is hot and ready for what should be the main event? Just trying to understand this better as I'm not really using the crowd management road agent options right now.
  4. Definitely buying. Big improvement overall from 2016. Can't wait.
  5. This will be my first company! My short-term plan is converting the product into Lucharesu Entertainment. I want to still focus on the wrestling because there's lots of talent in 5SSW, but emphasize their characters more by bringing in gimmicks and storylines. I've actually got pages and pages of notes on gimmicks for each worker, after which I'll be forming the stables and then finally storylines. Some examples: I've got Fuyuko Higa turning heel with the Crimson Witch gimmick that will perform like a witch doctor, bizarre rituals and such. Sae Akutugawa will be Phantasmagoria, a Phantom of the Opera inspired play actress acting out her own twisted scripts in the ring. And finally Kinuye Mushashibo will be a Video Game Cosplayer (comedy) portraying and acting out female AND male characters. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.
  6. Oh there we go! I'm doing the chiropratic and masseuse backstage options (and paid transport!) to keep them happy. Holy crap I didn't know it costed that much. Thank you!
  7. I'm having trouble understanding contract bonuses. Where do you find out how much a worker gets in bonuses? I'm getting killed each month on bonuses.
  8. I started up a new company in Australia, but I can't hire any announcers/commentators, presumably because no one available is Australian. Am I missing something here or why can't American/UK or anybody that can speak English be available for hire? EDIT: I just went into the editor and changed some of the guys I was interested in so that they were available to work in Australia. Not a big deal I guess.
  9. Great, thanks! Still using this skin as my default skin. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

You may have the commission stepping in if the weight difference is deemed too dangerous in regulated regions (or if a fighter doesn't like it).</p>
  11. <p>Oh sure, release early when no one is expecting it. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I'm at work, but I'm buying now! 12. To quote Adam from the WMMA 4 release: Adam is GMT, or 8 hours ahead of PST, so as with all releases, unless something happens, it'll be sometime before noon in the US.
  13. I'm booking Fezzik vs. Lette and it's rating the draw as Low Level International, but when I specify it's for the Heavyweight belt it goes down to High Level National. Why? Belt presitge is 83%, so it can't be that can it? EDIT: I think I figured it out. It's because they aren't the #1 contender. It penalizes you for giving title fights to lower ranked fighters. Interesting.
  14. Maybe I'm being dense, but where's the player handbook at? Is it the question mark in the top right corner that details all the systems in the game? Is there another screen that shows all the new additions in WMMA5?
  15. <p>The easiest way I've found in booking multiple weight divisions is to simply assign a weight division(s) to a given month with a four month interval in between.</p><p> </p><p> For example, say you have 6 weight divisions, then book as follows:</p><p> </p><p> January: Heavyweight</p><p> February: Middleweight/Welterweight</p><p> March: Lightweight/Featherweight</p><p> April: Light Heavyweight</p><p> May: Heavyweight</p><p> June: Middleweight/Welterweight</p><p> July: Lightweight/Featherweight</p><p> August: Light Heavyweight</p><p> September: Heavyweight</p><p> October: Middleweight/Welterweight</p><p> November: Lightweight/Featherweight</p><p> December: Light Heavyweight</p><p> </p><p> I usually play this booking method strict, so if a fighter gets hurt or for whatever reason can't make a January booking, they have to wait until May to fight. I've found that 99% of the fighters will recover after fighting within this four month window, so it works quite well.</p>
  16. <p>It really depends on the mood I'm in. My ideal way to play is how booking is "naturally" done. That means being flexible and not just booking based off of rankings, but how exciting the fight would be and weighing the advantages and disadvantages of having a particular fighter win or lose. </p><p> </p><p> Normally I don't stick to the natural method because the game usually loses its challenge for me and then I stop caring about putting all that time and energy into booking because it doesn't really matter when I'm making so much money anyway. So, I come up with more inventive ways of booking fights that cater to that play style. </p><p> </p><p> One way I enjoyed was to split the stand-up fighters and ground fighters into separate divisions (lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight for ground fighters) and book fights based strict or loosely on rankings.</p><p> </p><p> Another way is to employ your own ranking system with a strict set of rules. For example, fighters have to work their way up through a divisional ranking system within a weight class; moving up a division requires beating the top fighter in that division, losing to the lowest ranked fighter means moving down a division. Losing too much in the "can" division means being fired. That sort of thing.</p><p> </p><p> It's also just fun to just role-play. If a fighter calls another fighter out, you have to book them (that's now a feature in WMMA5 since it generates heat). Or book fighters based on region and have regional titles (American, European, Asian). You could even have a TV championship title or kickboxing title and book accordingly to see who's best at a given talent.</p><p> </p><p> By all accounts, it looks like WMMA5 is going to be much more challenging, so I'll be sticking with the natural approach to booking (the way that makes the most money/popularity).</p>
  17. Why is it I can't make a female worker using the brute gimmick? It always says I'm missing something and recommends I don't use it.
  18. I don't know, Arvloski, Tim Sylvia, and Rogers were all ranked top ten when he fought them. Fedor shouldn't have been caught so easily by Werdum after those 3 fights with Big Nog, one of the most dangerous BJJ guys in the world. Fedor made it look so easy back then. Granted, it doesn't help that Fedor has only been fighting about once a year the last 3 or 4 years...
  19. This guy called it spot on! I'm a huge Fedor fan, but I think age has finally taken a toll on him. Big props to Silva too! I'll be rootin for him in the likely Silva vs. Overeem match.
  20. Cain just tore through Brock...unbelievable...
  21. I don't think Fedor looked bad at all and he was doing exactly what he's been doing throughout his whole career: fighting to his opponent's advantage. Rather, it speaks volumes about just how dangerous of a submission artist Werdum is. Fedor will surely learn from this mistake and maybe we will see him come back a stronger fighter who fights his game rather than his opponent's. Whatever the case, you have to acknowledge that Fedor's career is winding down at this point and his best days are behind him. It's just sad that Dana White and many UFC fans are now going to write Fedor off because of this loss.
