  1. I wouldn't say that Cena was pinned clean. WWE made a huge fuss of his "injury." A clean pin win is what Swagger had over Ryder. Ryder had no excuse for his loss, Cena did.
  2. The German Suplex was solid, but that in no way, shape, or form was a bridge. Punk was practically laying on top of Cena.
  3. That was Extreme Rules in DC with Batista vs Cena last man standing as the main event. Shads last WWE match. I was there and don't remember the crowd being behind JTG much, but it might have come off better on tv. Only thing I remember is being angry that Batista lost via duct tape. -_-
  4. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Crimson had only won like 14 singles matches over his entire "streak." TBH I don't like how TNA talks about streaks in terms of time rather than matches. I'm much more impressed with a 42 match win streak than a 2 year streak with only 10 wins. :/
  5. If Super Calo is the Sabu of cruiserweights then Chavo was the Hardcore Holly. Solid but extremely boring. IMO El Cucaracha was better than Chavo. Honorable mention goes to Psychosis, Disco Inferno, Berlyn, the Yung Dragons, 3 Count, Madusa and Prince Iaukua (sp?)
  6. No way was that Undertaker. Had no arm tattoos. And his face was obviously Glen Jacobs.
  7. Am I the only person that wouldn't mind Undertaker vs Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania?
  8. I really don't see how Punk's momentum has stalled at all. He is in the Main Event almost every week. He gets one of the biggest reactions every week. It's also because of CM Punk that the biggest storyline WWE has had in years is happening. Punk says WWE would be better without Vince. Vince is gone. Punk name drops Johnny Ace and all of a sudden Ace is on tv when he hadn't been in years. More recently he said that he didn't like the "new" Triple H and he wanted the "old" Triple H back, low and behold Triple H is wrestling again. I guess it's exactly like Tito at LOP says. He was "Buried." If you are unhappy with their treatment of Punk then the WWE then they are doing exactly what they are trying to do. Gain sympathy for him. He isn't a Brock Lesnar type wrestler that's gonna go out and squash everyone, he is going to take a beating and keep coming. He's gonna run his mouth, get beat up and eventually beat the odds. You saying he's been treated unfairly is what the WWE wants you to think, that way you'll be much happier when he does come out on top. However if you are completely unhappy with the product as a whole then you should probably just turn off the tv. If you don't like something why subject yourself to the pain of watching it. I despise TNA and rarely have anything positive to say about it, so I just don't watch, and haven't watched for months. I also don't run my mouth about the product either, because I have given up on them. I sit back and enjoy wrestling. I watch like I'm a kid again. I like the little things. I don't squirm everytime Mason Ryan is on tv, I don't get too upset that Zack Ryder isn't. I don't generally dislike anyone for their in-ring work. I get attached to their characters. I don't criticize everything. I actually want to like wrestling, so I do.
  9. I also enjoyed the HiaC ppv. The crowd was the worst thing about the ppv for me. They killed any momentum the Sin Cara match could have had. I'm very anxious to watch raw tonight.
  10. I did too. It got me thinking. They could repackage him as a lawyer and a mouthpiece to someone who is better in the ring, but can't talk, like Mcgillicutty (this a ring not a swimming pool.) He'd be like a modern day IRS, except instead of auditing people he could give them legal advice.
  11. I was thinking about Mania today and i was wondering...if Rock/Cena is for the wwe title and Daniel Bryan is caving in mitb at Mania, then what will the royal rumble winner do?
  12. Um...is TNA using piped boos and cheers? There was boos and cheers during the entire segment and nobody in the audience even had their mouths open.
  13. MLT I live on the Eastern Shore of MD about a half hour from Ocean City. Conditions were just as you described. Lots of rain, almost 24 hours worth and a lot of wind. No terrible damage done except for some trees knocked over here.
  14. <p>I like Booked T on commentary because he makes me laugh. </p><p> </p><p> The other night I was trying to remember some WCW things and it popped in my head. Didn't Stevie Ray do commentary in wcw?</p><p> </p><p> What if Stevie Ray and Booked T were the only commentary.</p><p> </p><p> "awww yeah!" "sweet fruit booty."</p><p> </p><p> I'm not sure anybody but their mother would understand what is happening in the match. It's got to be hell on Sharmell when she goes to Harlem Heat family reunion.</p>
  15. I just watched Bob Backlund vs Pat Patterson from the Best of Cage matches dvd. It was incredibly terrible. Khali would of been considered a "scientific" wrestler back then.
  16. I didn't say anything was wrong with it. Just that it was ironic.
  17. I find it ironic that Arrows loves CM Punk and Chikara, since Punk loathes Chikara.
  18. I'm really baffled by the ending of the Pay Per View. Didn't see that coming at all. Don't you just love the "predictable" WWE? ~sarcasm~
  19. Yeah. The same punt that took out RVD, Shawn Michaels, Vince McMahon the entire Nexus and shortened CM Punks title reign only got a 3 count. If I remember correctly Cena was standing before the ppv ended and was 100% on Raw the next night. He even no sold his "career-threatening" neck injury, returning at the Royal Rumble when he was supposed to be out past Wrestlemania. (my girlfriend was irate when he returned, shouting, "i hate him, I hate him" then months later shouting "i bleeping love you" at a house show months later.) Perhaps he really is Superman.
  20. I felt like Masters improved exponentially and he is extremely solid in most areas. I doubt working with Ring of Honor would hurt his development and he'd more than likely fit in well with the roster.
  21. Am I the only person that thought the Shelly/Kendrick match was boring. It lacked emotion and Shelly kept falling awkward when kicked. Spin kick and he drops to his knees. Dropkicked, falls to his knees. I just didn't feel like there was any emotion. Something about it didn't "click" with me. I might be the only one though.
  22. I DGAF what anybody says. TNA can't and won't put on better PPV's then WWE. MITB was proof of that.
  23. COLT CABANA IS IN THE FRONT ROW! I KNEW HE WOULD BE HERE! ZOMG. JK it's not that exciting.
