  1. I got back into this game recently and wanted a fresh skin. Idolized, I love this skin too and am enjoying it so thanks for making this! It's easier on my eyes too when looking at screens all day at my day job. However, I feel the same above from lavelleuk and Jason Phoenix to the empty cells in creative, stables, etc. I have searched through the files in the picture pack for the skin. Through researching between backgrounds, buttons and graphics, it looks like those images are actually in the backgrounds whereas when I compare it to other skins backgrounds, it makes them look empty. Just trying to help and see what can be done.
  2. Awesome! That's a cool storyline and would love to hear more about the progress of this as you book those matches. And to see what Wolf Hawkins will pick as a stipulation. Even if Bruce can win all those matches.
  3. CZCW - January 2026 Coastal Zone Championship - Mustang Blanco Jr. (Beat Fro Sure Friday Week 4 of December 2025 at Christmas Cage Chaos in a modern style cage match to win the championship) Coastal Zone Grand Prix (singles block tournament held every November and each year winner gets championship match at-you guessed it-Christmas Cage Chaos) - Mustang Blanco Jr. was 2025 winner by beating Jack Pryde in the finals, Friday Week 4 of November at Showdown At Sundown. Mustang Blanco Jr was Block A winner. Jack Pryde was Block B winner. Both men went into the finals undefeated. Each block had 6 wrestlers. Coastal Zone Tag Team - Alpha Squad (Fro Sure & Death Cougar*) (They beat The Perfect Criminals (Hellcat Hernadez & Mario Alvarez**) Monday week 1 episode of Coast to Coast in January 2026) Coastal Zone Television - Bret Kyle (beat Logan Wolfsbaine on Monday Week 2 episode of Coast to Coast in November 2025) Coastal Zone Trios - Cali Slick and Surf & Turf (Bullseye & Simon Waves) (They beat Erik Strong & The Future (Kip Keenan & Joffy Laine) and former champs Acid II, El Jaguar & Mustang Blanco Jr. in a 3 vs 3 vs 3 match on Monday Week 2 episode of Coast to Coast in December 2025) Coastal Zone Xtreme - Air Raid Syren (She beat Kill Switch Monday Week 1 episode of Coast to Coast in December 2025) *Note: I like to rename Masked Cougar with his black and red alt mask and envision it as a sadistic heel gimmick. **Mario Alvarez is a 2020 dojo graduate, a light heavyweight impactful wrestler with exceptional physical conditioning. ***Another note: Mustang Blanco Jr. had an incredible year in 2025. He's been on my roster since October 2021. When I was re-evaluating contracts at one point, I signed him to an exclusive written deal in May 2024. Doing that deal made me want to pull the trigger on a huge push for him. He's one of my top performers! )
  4. I'm doing real well in my CZCW save. I'm in 2025 and got my first 99 rated match! This is my first and only 99 rated match in this save (my only save since I got TEW 2020) and very excited to get this rating! It's also very weird that I have been obsessed with this save for this long... I usually get bored and start a new game with a different company. I have done so well though that I can't stop pushing to get to the next level.
  5. Edit to follow format and further request: Worker: Al Coleman Alt Request: Bald with brown goatee
  6. Thanks! That sounds like a better name that I had in mind. They're finisher is called the Total Carbonation!
  7. Hello all, I’m having trouble thinking of team names for my lucha fed: Payaso Jr and Soda De Uva Jr Ajax the Skull-Splitter and Beetle Kimura El Hijo del Neutron and Mustang Blanco Jr I was thinking these teams would be easy to name but drawing a total blank right now. I’d appreciate the help!
  8. Picking Chess Maniac as my UC and creating Maniac Pro Wrestling! (I did a fun save in TEW2016 and want to try again)

  10. I don't hold the Academy in high esteem either but I do cheer for actors I like to get the awards they deserve. I agree that Clarke has more charisma and charm than Larson. In fact, Clarke has been great in almost any role she takes (not counting GoT) and I hear she does her best role to date in Above Suspicion (about the first conviction of an FBI agent and tragic story. I read the book and it's a very captivating story!). Unfortunately, that movie is having distribution problems since it wrapped up back in 2018. Even though I loved the original, I would like to see this remake and see if I'll still enjoy it. I've heard mixed reviews and the same comment about scenes being taken out. The voice talent for the movie looks amazing on paper and I've been a huge fan of Billy Eichner ever since his days doing Billy on The Street (I recommend anyone who loves pop culture to check that show out!)
  11. I like reading up on what you are all doing in your CGC saves. I started mine up some time ago and simmed to 2019 and took over as head booker with Bobby Thomas. This is my last show I just did and I'm very happy with where I'm at in the save at the moment. Stardust is my current champion after defeating Dan DaLay (surprisingly not in time decline yet). He will be dropping it to Gargantuan soon so I can do a huge program between Ricky DeColt and Gargantuan which will probably end with Ricky winning the title in late 2019. The Supreme Team is Spencer Spade and James Prudence and they've been tearing it up as my tag champions since winning them from Whippy the Clown (gone now since he was in terrible time decline) and Ryan Powell. Jack DeColt, the star attraction is in a hot feud with Prudence... The best thing to do would be for the DeColts to beat The Supreme Team at Ultimate Showdown for the tag titles but not sure if I'll do that... maybe swerve the fans by having someone run in and help Supreme Team keep the titles. Philippe, Blockbuster and Shady K are a heel faction known as The Syndicate. I put the group together to push Philippe but it's not working very well at the moment. They obviously need to win bigger matches against more over workers to get there. Thrill Seeker just came back from a herniated spinal disc in early May and I honestly have no idea what to do with him so putting him in random tag matches and stuff for the moment. I also have no idea what kind of match Ricky and DuBois will have for their feud ending bout... maybe a Canadian Death Match (a.k.a. Texas Death Match) I'm really excited to do my first Last Man Standing show and I might throw in some other rules for the battle royal on the show. The same goes for the Chamber of Horrors match later in the year! All in all, I'm enjoying myself and really love this save so far.
  12. I had to rewrite this reply two times because I ended up going on a tirade and talking in circles about SJW, social media, the "us vs them" mentality in the media, etc. I just think the whole SJW bandwagon with the Marvel movies is like a football fan saying to someone "We did it! WE won the Super Bowl!" It's being proud for the sake of being proud and I find it extremely annoying. Anyways, I still love the Marvel franchise though and I don't see anything wrong with Brie Larson. Did she say some stupid things? Yeah, she did... but she still is a good actress. I don't have anything against her as Captain Marvel and loved the 90s nostalgia in the movie too. Did Hollywood use their agenda to make Black Panther such a big deal? Yeah, of course they were going to do that. It still doesn't mean it's a bad movie. In fact, I think they put a lot of effort and thought into it especially with moving the Marvel franchise along. And yeah, the Blade trilogy did happen but then Snipes went to prison for tax dodging lol It's still a good point though!
  13. My girlfriend believes the How to Train Your Dragon series is the best series not from Pixar. I only saw the first movie but based on her reaction to the third one and mostly positive reviews from the series, I would like to watch the other two! Alita is a badass movie and I love the cliffhanger ending. I want more about this world and her character. Also intrigued at the cameo at the end, hinting at a big time villain? I'm not familiar with the manga so it looks like a sequel would be promising. Captain Marvel is great and I don't get why people are so butt-hurt. Larson is not the first celebrity to have their nose up their ass... but she can act very well regardless of this. Best part of TLJ is the lightsaber battle between Rey and Kylo. Dare I say that the movie gets better every time I watch it? It's definitley not my favorite for sure but it's hard to top the initial series. I think we all know by now that Abrams can direct his own works but not others.
  14. <p>I love the first refusal change and never made sense to me before when owners didn't want someone hired when they've just graduated. </p><p> </p><p> Chiming in on the sexuality change, I wouldn't have minded that change but I also get why Adam removed that since it did turn quite ugly in this thread. Also, Kenny Deaths rule and I never get sick of them!</p>
  15. <p>Infinity War was a totally different movie and I'm glad they shifted the tone. Endgame was definitely more emotional and slow-paced but, at the same time, I still felt the movie went pretty fast. </p><p> </p><p> Having said that, I loved both movies. I say this as a quasi-comic reader and mainly read synopsis online of the comic storylines. I believe they did a wonderful job especially when you take in account the roster of actors, the post-production was done masterfully (I believe the editor(s) and visual effects people should get more credit) and, at the same time, the writing has been consistently been well done. Was there fan service? Of course that was going to happen! I don't think that cheapens the movie at all and that final action scene was so good!</p><p> </p><p> I think it's easy to nitpick at little things Endgame could've done without but the overall experience was great. It gave me chills and tears, like a good emotional climax should be done. Four star movie to me!</p>

I didn't tie him to a written deal because I didn't think I'd care. He had hit decline, after all. Yet it instantly killed all interest I had in the game. No DeColts? No CGC. <p> </p><p> Luckily I copied the save in January 2019, so I'm going to give it a second go. Learn from mistakes. Not worry so much about money in the beginning. Maybe dump a few PPV's. I think a major show every 4 weeks is a nonsense business model for 2019, and Elimination is a pain in the ass when you only have 2 weeks to build for it.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Oh man, that sucks! CGC would definitely be weird without any DeColts. I hope the second go-around goes well for you. Even though Elimination and some of those other gimmicky shows are a pain in the ass, that's why I've always wanted to give a stab at the company. Another way to get a little creative with the game too.</p>
  17. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Self" data-cite="Self" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I went with Bobby Thomas as head booker. He's a sentimental favourite and a solid hand who doesn't break the company by being amazing great at anything. Plus I wanted to experience Alex DeColt as a locker-room poison boss with insane demands. "No cruiserweights" scuppered my planned Zeus & Stevie reunion, and his lust for profits got half the midcard fired. <p> </p><p> My current CGC World Champion's stats. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="g8lzSC2.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/g8lzSC2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> The 'Buster headlined his first PPV 'In The Company of Legends' against former-lackey Skip Beau to a C rating, and now gets a month off from the ring as the Ultimate Showdown Series gets underway. Frankly I think it's my favorite one I've ever booked.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That's some pretty damn good stats then. I'd definitely try to make it work like you're doing but I'd probably do a crappier job at it lol </p><p> Bobby Thomas is definitely a good pick as head booker. I don't know if I'd last long with the no cruiserweights rule. It would be cool to see what happens in your Ultimate Showdown series.</p><p> </p><p> And like I said, I took a total left turn when I simmed a year. Instead creating that RCW fed in Alberta with Grand Avatar as my owner. I had a good first six months with Ricky DeColt, Edd Stone and Atom Smasher in my main event scene. Gargantuan has been there since day one and I'm stupefied that he hasn't been picked up by NOTBPW along with those other three guys. So then I have Dazzling Dave Diamond, Ricky Storm and Thrill Seeker in there place along with Sayeed Ali and the aforementioned Gargantuan... who just won my world title from Thrillseeker! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> That was a good decision because now three months into 2018 and NOTBPW are signing Ali and Thrillseeker away from me. Blargh!</p>
  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Self" data-cite="Self" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Elimination: Ryan Powell C-<p> Luck of the Draw: Zeus Maxmillion: C+</p><p> DeColt WrestleFestival: Antonio Del Veccio C</p><p> Chaos in the Cage: Owen Love C- (time decline last minute replacement due to injury)</p><p> </p><p> He's a work in progress. His opponents are picked more to improve his popularity than headline PPV's. I still have Jack DeColt for that. What's letting him down more are the angles. He's a D+ promo with B- menace so I'm having to throw in all of the bells & whistles to keep his stories hot. I turned Hailey Hunter to be his rock chick manager. I positioned Skip Beau as a lackey/second mouthpiece. I'm putting Alex DeColt in half of his angles. CGC needs two storylines of over C heat to avoid penalties, and Blockbuster isn't holding up his end. Still, he's risen from D to C- popularity, and that puts him two steps closer to the Jack DeColt feud that'll make him.</p><p> </p><p> In other news, 5 months in and my house show team have helped turn things around financially. The expensive ACPW/4C midcard are gone, replaced by Dan DaLay bringing in his son Robin and building a cool young (cheap) undercard tag division around them. Boys From The Yukon. Jenny's Playmates. Les Bold Gendarmes. Woolabonga Bogans. They're starting to provide the secondary hot storyline that Blockbuster is struggling to deliver.</p><p> </p><p> Also, Jack Bruce was available to headline WresleFestival. So that was pretty cool.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I guess that's not too bad and you obviously know what you're doing. I commend you for sticking with Blockbuster as champion. If I took the save over I would've taken the title off of him immediately... then again, maybe depending on his stats as well.</p><p> </p><p> Are you playing as owner or head booker? And follow up: Who is your user character?</p><p> </p><p> And I actually went the opposite way. I simmed a year and opened up a regional Canadian promotion with The Grand Avatar. I upped his stats for microphone and some acting/charisma... just to utilize him in a puppet master role for angles.</p><p> I called the fed River City Wresting and with that name, it would definitely be based in Edmonton, Alberta. Since I'm at work now, the only starting roster members I can think of are Ricky DeColt and Gargantuan. I'm not being frugal at all lol</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Eidenhoek" data-cite="Eidenhoek" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>So someone has a Legendary Simpleton gimmick.<p> </p><p> That's...</p><p> </p><p> You're...</p><p> </p><p> You're dumb. FAMOUSLY dumb.</p><p> </p><p> Edit: How is he getting <em>better at the gimmick?!</em></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Who is this that you're talking about? And would you classify them as like a Homer Simpson? Or Charlie Kelly from It's Always Sunny? Those were the first two I thought of when you said FAMOUSLY dumb lol</p>
  19. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Self" data-cite="Self" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I love CGC but have grown tired of the 2016 roster, so I'm doing something different. I've let the AI book up until January 2019 and have taken over the train wreck from there. <p> </p><p> It's a delightful mess. USPW has ransacked everyone popular under 40 (Ricky DeColt, Christian Price, Gargantuan) the company is losing $100,000 a month (and Alex wants profit by 2021) and Blockbuster is the CGC World Champion. They split all of the tag teams. They jobbed Ian Identity out to Major Negative. The only guy who seems to have gotten a push is Ryan Powell, who is locker room cancer with more enemies than I thought the game could process.</p><p> </p><p> I'm mostly torn between a slow fix and a sudden overhaul. I'm going to see if I can make Blockbuster into a worthy champion (feeding him Powell is a good start) but the midcard needs to be gutted. Why pay $1400 for Jaime Atherton to do a job in the opener, when I can pay $400 for Canadian Crusher to have the exact same effect on the final rating? All of the ACPW stars have to go, replaced by unknowns on Written deals so I can run some house shows. I'm also going to rehab Ian Identity with the long-term goal of making him champion, and put the focus on tag teams. Let's see if I can find Jack a tag partner.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That's not a bad idea, Self. I've been wanting to do a save with CGC but I get so turned off by the starting roster. I think I'll try doing that too and see where it is into 2019. Blockbuster as World champion sounds intriguing. What kinds of match ratings does he get as champ?</p>
  20. <p>I'm just brushing up on all of the developer journal entries and man, this game looks so damn good already!</p><p> </p><p> I particularly like on-the-fly booking, new company sizes, dojo revamp, talk to worker and especially this new entry for expanded styles.</p><p> </p><p> Great stuff so far, Adam!</p>
  21. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Historian" data-cite="Historian" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Well... I suppose I can reveal my secret to posting now that I'm over 150 shows in..... <p> </p><p> ......</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> ......</p><p> </p><p> So, as I run shows, I copy and paste all of the show information into a google doc. Each google doc has the name of the show (so I can keep track for logistical standpoint). I tend to go on a booking spree where I'll book a month or two months at a time. I go back through and format each google document, with all of the imgur links and everything so that when I'm ready to post I can just copy and paste right over and it is good to go.</p><p> </p><p> It also helps that I am not nearly as graphical as say, willr0ck, The Lloyd, Togg, or King_Bison who have all sorts of graphics that go into my shows so it makes it easier for me. </p><p> </p><p> This way, I have, at any given time, three or four shows ready to post. I like to stay ahead of where I'm at in the diary so that way I can plan out my narratives and know where I want to go from a backstage story standpoint. </p><p> </p><p> I keep a separate document for all of my news that I want to go out so that I have it and can stay organized -- also helps me make sure not to forget to hit certain points. </p><p> </p><p> When I first started, because my shows were so simple it was very easy to post shows quickly. I wasn't planning on posting show many shows tonight, but I wanted to get the Wrestling Summit VII card up -- because I am incredibly proud of this card and what I was able to put together.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well, that's good to know. I'm doing a lot of the same, copying and pasting results onto google docs. I think I'll look into using imgur because I've been using flickr and sometimes the website doesn't load when I'm trying to copy the image links (plus the image links are super long because it also includes the url link on the pic).</p><p> </p><p> Thanks for sharing as that will allow me to keep my going along as well. I feel like the injuries might stack up in my PGHW save...</p><p> </p><p> Anyways, keep doing what you're doing! And yeah, those guys you name-dropped are definitely great at putting together those graphical diaries. I don't have the patience to learn all that vb code stuff lol</p>

  24. I'm looking forward to Bryan vs Owens and hoping The Revival successfully defend the RAW tag titles. Andrade vs Mysterio is supposedly on the pre-show Smackdown clearly have no idea what to do with Nakamura and Rusev and I think that's a shame. Just sticking them together as a tag team... bleh!
