  1. Not to mention, if I'm not mistaken, your B-show performers do gain pop (although not as much as they would on an A show or event, obviously) from appearing.

    St.T

This is true, and, stating the obvious, even more-so if it is televised. I play SWF and bring RIPW talent up to Uprising to increase their POP (which is usually just one or two regions when they first come up) before they get their Supreme TV debuts.

  2. ZWB is exploding in my SWF save. I've tried the screenshot a couple of times can't figure Paint out well.<p><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2021_02/ZWB.jpg.5bebf53bb12f58d058d183f20bdb6612.jpg" data-fileid="3782" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img data-fileid="3782" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="ZWB.jpg.5bebf53bb12f58d058d183f20bdb6612.jpg" data-src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2021_02/ZWB.jpg.5bebf53bb12f58d058d183f20bdb6612.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p>

Only Tex Tagan is still in wrestling. I didn't see an entry for Eve Runcord/Angela Bruin I'm assuming she's promoted by the FBI like Davey Runluenn/Benjamin Cardillo at the IRS.</p>
  4. Something that caught my eye in a recent RTG game;

That'll be Jim Force himself opening a new promotion casually, with Giant Redwood as its Head Booker, seemingly in an all women's promotion?

Checked the data and the company wasn't there so that's just Force doing Force things.

Needless to say I'll be morbidly watching this potential trainwreck

Curious to know how this one is going?!

  5. <p>I'll of course swear I won't play SWF but will in reality probably start 5 SWF saves! I'm interested to see if the federal investigation has caused something big (like, now they are SWE for legal reasons or lost most of the roster or something like that) and if they don't exist at all anymore I'd probably go with whomever USPL's main rivals are. </p><p> </p><p>

    Then, finally, get to Mexico and Japan. <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  6. Here's a suggestion I think would be pretty dope if you could include: Each booker has different skills to bring to the table.

In the current game, which booker you select to play as is almost entirely irrelevant to the game. I usually play as Jack Bruce, since he's the most popular wrestler in the game at the start, and so my angles - which are rated primarily on overness - can get high ratings out of the gate if I use him. Since your choice as a player character has absolutely no bearing on how you go about booking your shows, Jack Bruce is otherwise the ideal choice for a player character.

But imagine if different bookers each had unique advantages and disadvantages to using them. For example ...

Teddy Longdore - A play on the name "Theodore Long," this booker gets a bonus to the ratings for tag team matches, so they score higher than the same matches by other bookers in otherwise identical circumstances. Meanwhile, their tag team titles gain prestige faster and lose prestige slower than other bookers' tag team titles. However, to offset this, his singles, triple threat, and fatal four-way matches, as well as his singles championships, are comparatively penalized.

Dangerous Paul - A play on the old ring name "Paul E. Dangerously," this guy gets a bonus for exceptionally risky gimmicks, matches, and angles, and can crank up the "risque" and "T&A" factors in his product screen much higher than normal before he starts losing the ability to get various TV time slots. But to offset this, wholesome gimmicks, matches, and angles are penalized, and he won't be able to get a primetime TV slot or any sponsorship income at all.

Roaddust - This copyright-friendly version of Dusty Rhodes gets a bonus for matches that end with a tainted (aka "Dusty") finish, and will be immune to penalties for tainted finishes in promotions that normally require clean finishes.

I think you get the idea. Give each booker a different skill set in order to force players to adopt different playstyles depending on who they play as!

If we're taking requests I would also like Finch McWoman which is a clever version of Vince McMahon but would be a female.

Hopefully in the future it could evolve into an owner type of mode where booking quality is tied to your head booker stats.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Same. While I obviously love booking it will be great especially for B shows to put one or two featured segments and have auto-booker do the rest.</p>
  8. I've had this horrible habit over the years and different versions of not fully exploring the C-Verse and so when the new version gets announced I finally get antsy enough to start long-terms saves in Japan and Mexico, and with a women's promotion, basically the areas I never usually play.

Have any long-term games you're going to get into this fall and winter before the new version?

  9. You'll be waiting a while for that, we're only converting and making Platinum as playable as possible in 2016 (whilst taking advantage of exciting areas like injury histories!) We've just not collectively had a lot of free time right now to work on things in 2016 hence why we've not got something out just now. Damn life. Always getting in the way! :p

This is not necessarily bad news, especially in the short term. Since I was such a latecomer to Thunderverse it means I can re-try some of my 2013 AWF madness with the new engine and not have to re-familiarize with everything. Very excited. :)
