  1. A Stacked Roster: You can only rehire one of the following three WWE alumni, ever. Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, or Brock Lesnar.

Internet Darling Destiny Roll: Cesaro, Drew Gulak, and Ricochet. One must win at least two World Heavyweight titles before his WWE career ends. The other must take on a comedy gimmick and be kept on the roster until his actual retirement. The other must be jobbed out until his contract expires.

Progress Is The Rule, Not An Exception: From your next five WrestleManias, three must be main evented by a women’s match.

Building An Empire: Roman Reigns must retain the Universal Championship until he has held the title for at least one full year. He must do this again with either World Heavyweight Championship before he retires.

He Held The Same Belt as Brock Lesnar, Maggle: From New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s stacked main event roster, you can only acquire one of two wrestlers, ever. Will Ospreay, or Jay White.

Bad Rehashes? Not in This Company: You can never book a stable based on Bullet Club around AJ Styles or Finn Balór.

Monday Night Rollins: The next time Seth Rollins is drafted to Raw, he must stay on the brand for the rest of his WWE career.

The Old King: Vince McMahon can only appear on-screen as an authority figure for one more long-term storyline. After that, he must pass the torch to Steph & Hunter full-time.

The Everlasting Women’s Dream Match: You can never book Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch, the showdown between the Four Horsewomen.

The Fourth Pillar: Like Akira Taue in All Japan, one of the aforementioned Four Horsewomen can never win either Women’s title again and must take a more dialed-back role compared to her peers. This woman cannot compete in one of the earlier mandatory women’s WrestleMania main events.

WrestleMania 35 Revisited: You can only bring back one of the pair of Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.

I did the Old King with Vince's retirement match. 3 on 1 Vince Shane and HHH vs Lesnar. If Lesnar won, Heyman got the company. In the end, Undertaker came out in the Biker gimmick to cost Lesnar the match, giving the company to Shane Stephanie and HHH. Also set up one last money making match with Taker and Lesnar.

  2. King Of Fighters Block 2 Summary

Block 2 saw 5 fights go the distance, and was peppered with 3 undefeated fighters. Once again, an undefeated fighter wins a block. Joey "Hands" Valdez won three decisions to move on to the King Of Fighters 2002 final tournament. Valdez dominated his opening round match against Fletcher Merman, then beat uundefeated fighter Jerry Bogdonovich, then dominated the 5 round finale against undefeated Sly Twinge. Sly made the final by winning via decision over Gu Ueda, then via rear naked choke over Collins Lundie.

Joey Valdez joins Chuck Dooley in the King Of Fighters finale. Both fighters are from heavyweight divisions, and undefeated.

  3. King Of Fighters Block 1 Summary

Two undefeated fighters drew Block 1, and one of them stayed undefeated. Chuck "The Laughing Man" Dooley showed why he is one of the top up-and-coming fighters in all of MMA and ended up winning Block 1, and moving on to the final tournament in King Of Fighters 2002.

Dooley easily defeated Arturo Diaz via striked in the 2nd round in a great fight, they defeated Trevor Murray via decision in probably the worst fight of the evening. In the final, he met Mario de Souza, who submitted Pai Cheng in the 2nd round with a guillotine with 2 seconds left in the round after taking a beating, then defeating Wade LeCavalier via decision. The fight went 4 rounds when Dooley landed a massive right hand, knocking out de Souza. The fight won Fight Of The Night honors as well as Knockout Of The Night.

Dooley has to be an early favorite to win it all, now taking an undefeated 12-0 record into the final tournament.

  5. "King Of Fighters" Promotion Announced

Rich oil tycoon Lance Decker has just announced on "East Coast Today" via Skype that he is opening a new MMA promotion called "King Of Fighters".

In an interview with famed sports reporter Frank N. Stein, Decker laid out his vision for the new promotion. 64 fighters will compete in an open weight tournament to decide just who is the true King Of Fighters.

"This MMA thang has really got me thinking," said Decker in the interview. "I miss the good ole days of two men regardless of size stepping into the cage and beating the snot out of each other. Now, with all of these trained fighters out there, I'm tired of the 'what if A fought B' question. Now, we will know who the one true King is."

Fighters will be separated by 8 blocks of 8. Each block will compete in a one night tournament. The winners of each block will compete later in the year in one more one night tournament to decide the King Of Fighters. Participants will be announced later in the week.

Blurcat.com reporter Shirley U. Care had this to say about the new promotion.

"As intriguing as this is having a huge 64 man openweight tournament, I hope this is not a step backwards for MMA. We have been getting regulation throughout the country, becoming more mainstream. Now, going back to openweight tournaments and no weight classes, as much as this concept intrigues me, I wonder if enough fighters and fans won't mind seeing potential major size differences. I don't see smaller fighters ever winning this thing. I could be wrong though."

Events will be broadcast on "East Coast Today" televison, as well as the internet streaming service SportTube.

  7. I'm returning to TEW after not playing since TEW 2010 - in the past I was a long-time player having played EWR, TEW 2004, 2005 and 2010 (as well as the first two Wrestling Spirit games). I've been playing the demo over the last few days and enjoyed it a lot and I was ready to purchase at release. Then when it came to purchase I saw that the series was still, in 2020, using that crummy eLicense DRM service.

I remember having trouble with eLicense with the games I bought in the past and right away I was turned off seeing it here. Thinking that maybe I was overblowing it in my memory or that maybe the service has improved in the nine years since I last used it, I decided to run a simple test:

If I can download and install the copy of TEW 2010 that I bought in 2011 with no issue then I'm satisfied with the service and I'll buy TEW 2020.

Downloading the installer is simple and I was able to find the order id for the purchase in my old emails no problem so I was hopeful, but then I entered the order id into the installer aaaaaand:

    3MmDJiA.png

Yuck. From memory I don't think I ever installed this more than once when I bought it, but even if I had it's not relevant. The fact is I'm being denied access to install a game that I purchased, pretty much for having committed the cardinal sin of having changed my laptop in the last nine years.

I'm sure that if I contacted GDS support then I could get this sorted out, but I shouldn't have to go through the trouble of contacting the publisher every time I want to reinstall a game I purchased.

The suggestion from the software that I repurchase the game when it already acknowledges that I've bought it before is particularly laughable.

So I won't be buying TEW 2020 for as long as it has eLicense in place, which is a shame because I really did enjoy the demo and a game like this fits my current gaming habits/available time perfectly. There are much more modern and user friendly methods of DRM available (or distribution services that don't use DRM at all: gog.com) and so I have no idea why GDS persist with this service that I can remember people having problems with going back for more than 15 years now - in fact I remember Adam very kindly helping me out personally over email to resolve an issue with eLicense that I had going all the way back to TEW 2004.

I know some people will read this and think "so you're not going to buy the game, who cares?" but I believe it's important that publishers receive feedback on issues such as this and understand that using bad DRM services like this does turn people away from their games and give people problems retrieving games that they've purchased in the past. If there is a more appropriate channel through which to give this feedback then I'd be happy to hear it. :)

Um... you're trying to install a 10 year old game with a 9 year old e license... with all due respect, I think you are being unreasonable. You are entitled to your opinion just like everybody else, and you are entitled to voice it just like I am. I think it is pretty petty to refuse to buy something that you admittedly enjoyed the demo of, that you admittedly enjoyed past versions of, because they chose a distribution method that THEY think is best for THEIR business. For someone who writes the game himself, Adam puts a lot of time and effort into addressing any problems (which you also mentioned that he did for you in the past). It isn't always about flawless execution... nobody or no business is ever perfect... it's about how that person/companies handle issues. Adam worked with you before, and I bet if there was an issue that he would bend over backwards to help you again. Kinda like he pulled overnights to make sure he put out the best game he could due to feedback from the community.

You voiced your opinion... I voiced mine... time for me to get back to booking NYCW invading MAW.
