  1. how to pdf a diary

    1) go through the diary and pull every single post by the author (I do this with a program I wrote to parse the pages, oddly enough it's written as a macro in an excel workbook)

    2) use a pdf printer to print the singly saved out pages (I use bullzip with the setting set to custom, to auto name and put the files in an certain order, based on the post count number)

    3) go through every page to determine if it is "part of the diary" or an ooc post that should no longer be part of the diary (things like vote pages, or results or responses to personal statements are better left out, as there is no context for that in a non interactive form. they of course stay in, if they "part of the story' type post

    4) use a tool to take all of the pages that have made the cut and bind them together as one pdf (I use PDfill, but I am sure there are other tools that would do the job. often I have to bind smaller sub sets of say 100 post together, and then bind the 3 or 4 large peices together, to prevent an error in the process from killing the job)

    I hope this helps.

Hey, thanks! I have no such program nor can I figure out how to automate just pulling a single user's post, but I found even doing it manually it's easier to dump it all as raw text into something like OpenOffice or Word and print to PDF from there - surely that would be simpler?

  2. <p>Well, my 2010 diary died out very quickly due to real life stuff, (and maybe because I wrote out the big matches move-for-move) but it had a decent following while it was going... It was a 0/0/0/0 C-verse fed in Canada. I'll do something similar this year but since I think it's possible to actually become a global fed while starting in my particularly brutal (importance wise) home country of Australia, (due to the fact that region importance can change) I'll start there instead. </p><p> </p><p>

The scene's shaping up to be very interesting as well, with DIW providing the early competition, ZEN maybe becoming fast friends so I can use all their talent (an alliance, perhaps?), APW being a far bigger powerhouse this time around with the extra cash, and RAW being, well... HUGE. Plus, there's a huge swath of unemployed talent that all debuted in the last couple years. Should be fun.</p><p> </p><p>

NB: I've been working indies in Australia for nearly eleven years now, so if that gets me more readers for the curiosity factor of reading a diary written by someone with that amount of experience in the business, then hooray for me. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

    I forgot, heres a teaser of a belt I'm working on...</p><p>

  3. Again, I know everyone's busy, but if someone would like to have a go at:

    Breeding Ground Wrestling TV Title

It's a ROH style fed that's just gone on TV. I'll happily trade for TV Show/Promotion Logos or whatever else you'd like.

I'd like the colors to be black and red, and silver/platinum plating if possible.

If anyone has the PSDs for any of these files, I'd love to see them to assist me in making some for other people.

    Also, here's one i made for Terminator980:
