I know Brisk is looking at something similar but I feel we can both tell two different stories; making an LA-based company possible for both of us. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> My version will be a first-person account of the creation of Los Angeles Xtreme Wrestling. In turn, the "War for SoCal" theme will be used once again in this go-around; warring with IPW and GSW in our region. In this vein, it'll be like the East Coast Wars of the Cornellverse 90's (only, now, focused on the West Coast). </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Unlike my prior LAX Wrestling project, there will be a reason for why this company is truly warring with others in the area. In addition, the main character is going to be portrayed as a man looking to "conquer at all costs." He's combative, hellbent, and disliked by many in the region. Knowing this, he'll become the perfect rival to Grimm and IPW.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> I decided to go a totally different around with the logos. I can tell we are aiming a tad differently. As this weekend is my busiest weekend at work, I’ll probably launch my stuff next week sometime so I look forward to seeing what you start up with. I’ll post my own preview this weekend.</p>
  2. So... this has been something jumping around in my head, although Eisen-verse is posting a similar idea... Roll tape… In Los Angeles, there is beautiful coastal land… …there are royal men… …and the Rich and Famous. There is gang warfare… …as the people fight to survive… …as generals come from all over… …it seems the city sits in a state of destruction… …but the weather’s always changing… So sit tight for the Battle of Los Angeles! Battle For Los Angeles A Two Night Wrestling Event featuring THE best wrestlers in the Los Angeles Area

Allied him with Tommy Rich's stable which included Bobby Roode, Ken Anderson and Vader and during a feud, put them in a tag match and they were shown to have great chemistry so I put them in a team. Hashimoto puts up a 85-100 performance each night and has elevated Anderson to a similar level (more like 75-90, but I digress).</p>

  13. Actually that's not what happened. When I reloaded the save to pre-WrestleMania all the other negotiations were still pending, but Austin's for some reason wasn't. TFC and I talked about it privately. Crazy situation! ALSO: TFC so glad you're sticking it through. Just caught up. Good stuff man. It makes me want to try and salvage my 2001 game, which I ended up playing into August of 2002... So we'll see?

  19. i honestly think Bubba Ray did more harm than just the storylines. I mean everything was downhill but any main event per and rocky would've gotten at least an 85/90. Best I could do with bubba was 75. It's why I added Angle and Hogan and last minute changed from Angke to Hogan as I just felt Hogan would be an almost better champion for you to deal with (challenging short term but with Angle he could be champion until 2010 if they wanted)

The attempt to eliminate Kane by the other three was backfired when Jake turned on Dreamer quickly, meaning there’d be a new Hardcore champion. The heel antics of Hogan, Perfect and Hall were minimum really but well aware. Whether the Federation takes action against Hall is yet to be seen as he was clearly drunk, but otherwise it just felt flat. The best match of the night (the opening tag match) set the stage for a great match moving forward but everything else sort of seemed iffy at best. Last year’s WrestleMania set the stage for another great show this year and with the return of Hogan and Hall, matches like Hogan vs. Austin, Hogan vs. Rock, Hogan vs. HHH were all possible as well as Hall against the same people, but instead we saw a drunk Scott Hall, a really bad main event (thanks to both booking decisions tonight and booking decisions leading into the show) and strange set up moving forward, after Mania (with Big Show winning a number one contender’s match). There were some highlights of the night still. The tag match was phenomenal, some of the undercard pushes coming were great such as Test & Albert gaining their first tag titles and Rhyno reclaiming the ECW title could be interesting, but this felt more like Backlash than WrestleMania and may go down as one of the worst WrestleManias in WWF history.</div></div></div></div>
  21. I would love to do it if need be. I have the data already + I'm running into a mini block with my next show so can use a brief break. Can even do a write up / anything else needed.
  22. New baby means I've been missing the boards so seeing your Clash (and the fact I'm booking mine tonight/tomorrow morning) was exciting. As usual I sat in the middle of the pack for predictions which means our booking styles are really different, which is great. I love the show, I love the fact we might get Booker/RVD/Rey, I love that Dustin Rhodes/Steiner teaser... It was such a great show. And the post show chaos added to the drama of a GREAT show. So the number to beat is 13.5k by Spring 2002?
  23. Would you keep the style the same? If so, separate posts might be okay as I find myself having to pause and even elave the page and come back (like I would for a regular length TGA show, so...) But that's more me than anything else.
