  1. There's a category called Tribute Shows that is in both the editor and database and you'll find it there.
  2. No problem. Your question made me think outside the box and now I want to use my method to run a child company for USPW or 21CW as a new scenario.
  3. If you're married to your user log and user stats and are able to appoint head bookers to your development company you can appoint someone to be the head booker and release them or set their contract length to one day and then resign from TCW and apply to the development company. I was able to get the job for my development company and get back into TCW on my test. If you were to play it out then TCW would appoint a new head booker and you would have to manually edit their contract to get them out of it when you want to return and re-apply to TCW. If you're not married to the log and stats add a new player which allows you to resign your intended character from the game. Join as a new player (your intended character) to your development company and then leave the game with your second character. This is the option you would use for MAW since you don't control the company as TCW.
  4. Captain Kayfabe's Star List is the best bet if we're building with what's available (although personally, I'd switch Toma with Chris Caulfield as you get a great Road Agent and mentor) but if I was writing a scenario I would have Valiant getting fed up with Rocky Golden leapfrogging him and take a big money deal to be the major Face of a company with a one too many shenanigans in TCW Edd Stone as the cornerstone that the rest of of the company is built around. In this scenario, the Four Stars would be Valiant, Edd, Pablo Rodriguez, and Roger Cage who never went to USPW. The Four Pillers to build around are Ernest Youngman, Aldous Blackfriar, Jack Jackson, and Fro Sure.
  5. I would like to request a company logo Netstream World Wrestling Primary color preference is maroon
  6. Netstream killing some of the redundancy in the database by having a Medium level promotion with an hour long show would be perfect. Wolf Hawkins has been in TCW long enough that I would want him to be the anchor but a scenario of "You have Jay Chord tied down to a big contract, can Engyma hold on long enough for you to build up your Can't Miss Indy boy?" also sounds fun. Give them my boys Robbie Retro and Troy Tornado and I wouldn't play any other company.
  7. Before their biography update in 2020, I always thought of The Pop! Network as Spike TV since they were high on pro wrestling and their risk levels but now that they're basically Nickelodeon I kind of want a Viacom knock-off media group.
  8. <p>I have a soft spot for the tons of dumb names guys like Oscar Ozymandias and Gareth Wayne. </p><p> </p><p> Pistol Pete Hall seems like the kind of dude who would be showing up at every old-timer's convention and Paul Steadyfast is the C'verse wrestler who shows up in every indy in America for a cup of coffee.</p>
  9. TCW It's my favorite style of company. In-ring work matters but the mid-card has goofballs running around like Danny Fonzarelli and D-Trips (Dazzling Dave Diamond) and brutes like The Behemoths. Its history is Heel-focused. I like Babyface chasing Heels for the titles and The Syndicate has been a major part of its history. It's a fixer-upper. While I liked The Syndicate the new version feels like cosplay. The tag scene would have been a plus here but the 2020 version is at its worst but you can fix it easily. The Television title scene has actually become my favorite thing to book because we need some new blood and that's where it's built. Troy Tornado is the head of my "Boys Stable" and trying to build him into at least a quick World title win is on my list of things to accomplish. I would like to hear more about 21CW, I just can't get into them and would like too.
  10. I'm 80% sure his default gimmick was "Badass" and portraying him as a Rebel like character is your own choice. I always treated him like a forever face version of American Badass Taker and never gave a second thought to his name. I guess his goofy gimmicky name could have been Grandfathered in from his time in the SWF during the 80's and he was already established as Christian Faith. I will say though, I did change Rich Money when he was in SWF because I can handle one gimmicky Main Eventer name but not two. Also, Matty Faith gets turned to Matt because I will never accept a grown man named Matty.
  11. In my first TCW save I teamed Yuri Yoshihara and Oscar Ozymandias together since they had excellent chemistry. Oscar is in my boy stable because the idea of a journeyman wrestler with over 50 ring names is funny to me. He was supposed to be a conspiracy theorist like Alex Jones named Austin Texas but he morphed into a Johnny Swinger parody of 80's wrestling and was Troy Tornado's cousin. Yuri was a fan of Painful Procedure's fictitious albums and was living the life of a guy who was working for his hero and slowly realizing Troy was a delusional fading rockstar. Honestly, my favorite storyline I've done in this game. In my less dense "Real TCW" game I paired Jeremie Courtney and Marc Speed together since I wanted to actually use Courtney in this game. He's a rich asshole who is using his money to build a faction like Team Taz.
  12. The Slimeball Super Indy Tournament Throw the best possible tournament you can with a created fed. No expense is too far and see how deep into the red you go. Stop playing after that so you don't have to worry about the debt or how you'll pay your workers.
  13. Big Leagues Angry Gilmore: "The Last of a Dying Breed" He's been how I would push Eddie Kingston in every SWF game I've played. He's the man who can take any feud and make it real with nothing more than a microphone. Rich Money: He can do anything, head of a stable? Easy he's rich and can pay them off. Build up an up-and-coming Face? So arrogant, "you don't deserve to be in the ring with me." Redemptive Face? He's better as a heel and is amazing at being a heel but he can do it. Troy Tornado: He's my boy in my longest save so far. His egomaniacal rock star gimmick is the cornerstone of TCW's Midcard and Tempest (his stable consisting of Yuri Yoshihara, Yuta Isono, and Austin Texas (more on him later) is my favorite thing I've ever done in TEW. The premise is Yuri and Yuta were huge fans of Painful Procedure since their music was big in Japan (basically stealing the backstory for the band Steel Panther or Fozzy) and Troy Tornado's cousin/producer Austin Texas has roped them into being roadies/ young boys for the two of them. The Midcard Boys (Robbie Retro/ Oliver Kobb/ Dazzling Dave Diamond/ Andre Jones/ Jack Jackson etc) Not an actual wrestler but I love a good silly midcarder when I play a major promotion and to borrow a concept from OSW Review I have my "boy stable." These are the dudes who hang out in the middle of the card and their escapades exist more in my head than in the ratings. Oliver Kobb is the quintessential boy for me since he always plays the role of "The Southern Spoiler" where he's not the best at anything but he's such a fighter he'll break your heart if you're not game-planning for him. A Toru Yano type if you will. The Heel version of this usually runs with a posse to help them win or has a loaded glove or deadly finisher like a Piledriver that is kayfabe fined. Andre Jones was my favorite to run this way. Funky Fedora: He's TEW's Larry Sweeny. That's all I need to always have a spot for him. Not in the Big Leagues Austin Texas (Oscar Ozymandias): I wanted a Johnny Swinger like guy in my TCW game and decided Oscar would be the best fit. Almost immediately I realized how funny it would be if his whole 50 ring names flavor text would be as a conspiracy theorist gimmick like Alex Jones who was worried about globalists. That evolved into Austin Tornado the conspiracy theorist/ grifter cousin of Troy Tornado who switched to Austin Texas (in homage to Alex Jones' residence) who realized how much money he could swindle from Yuri and Yuta for access to Troy. Bryan "Do It" Jewett: I like the idea of a Tim Ferris like "Self-help Guru" a lot. I love the heel cult of personality leader version a lot more. The New York Doll: I just like him a lot. There is a great render of him I like and he's just a fun slimy heel. The Past Masters: I mean how can you not like these guys? Gimmicky enough to have some campy fun while also being serious enough to anchor a Tag Team Division? Sign me up! Joffy Laine: A younger Eli Drake!? What's not to love? Tavon Blake Jr: Rich Money without the Star Quality. Can do anything and I love building him up as this brawler with underrated technical skills.
  14. World Wide Pro Wrestling: You must sign 1 wrestling talent from every active game area before you may sign a second one from the same area. Keithing It Real: The talent you sign from America has to work in MAW. The Next Next Sam Strong: Cooper Christie has been singled out as the next big deal in USPW. By the end of the year Texas Express needs to have won the tag titles AND Turk Trenneman needs to have begun the process of turning heel on him. I Thought This Issue Was Solved?: A heel that is recognizble or below introduces a vanity title (use the USPW Television picture) that they must hold for at least six months. The title can not be retired until January 2022. You Don't Understand. I LOVE Rugby: Allen Packer is famous for not really interfering in USPW's booking, except for this one time. Siale Valhalla must be heavily pushed and either usurp Olympus Order from Zeus or start his own stable. Also, you must use the backstage interaction option on Allen Packer and Siale until they have a strong friendship or simmering tension before you can use it for anything else. Mo Money Mo Roster Issues: Anytime you see an American company of Medium or above attempt to sign a wrestler to an extension you must give them a counter-offer that results in a "I'm definitely signing with you" message. If the other company gives a better offer you must offer the talent a contract that results in the "this one of the offers I would consider" message. You only have to do these two rounds of contract offers and you don't need to do this to development talent. This is unaffected by rule one. The Force is Strong in This One: Every year until he retires The Force needs to end the year with more wins then loses. Once he announces his retirement he shall go on a win streak until losing his retirement match. The winner of that match shall have a strong push. Buy Low: If you wish to create a child company or Dojo it must be in the game area where the wrestling industry is the lowest. There's a Chill in The Air: At the start of the game filter your roster by Max Momentum Chilly. Fire one and give a strong push to one if you have more than one. If you have more than 2 then one must finish out their contract but not be rehired. Any others may be treated as you wish. What is it Good For?: SWF is no longer your only real enemy. Declare war on either 21CW, EILL, BHOTWG, PGHW, CWA, or RAW. Whichever company you decide is added to rule 6. There Can Be Only One: The Business or The Triumvirate must break up and a new stable of heels with no prior connections must be created.
  15. Let's open the show with an 8-10 minute talking segment. At this point I really don't know what Wolf Hawkins and Aaron Andrews / Rocky Golden and Scythe say to each other.
  16. I think TCW is probably the best bet. Big enough to have written guys with a product that once you learn is pretty friendly and they have enough variety for a person to apply what they want (more brawling or more technical/international flair with the connection to PGHW or more characters like Giant Tana for example.) Also, it has the benefit of a deep discussion thread where you can see the evolution from "oh no what am I going to do" to "actually this is pretty great." Of course, exploring the indy scene is tons of fun. CZCW is my favorite. It's closest real-world analog would be PWG but if the crew behind it were lucha fans instead of early 90's Japan tape trading guys.

Aldous for mic skills Martin for wrestling style.</p>
  18. I'm really into the idea of TCW going all-in on stable warfare so I have some. Club 77: Danny Fonzarelli, All Might (A renamed Mighty Meaty), T-Bone Bright, and if you want to sign him Fro Sure Pointbreak: Bart Biggins, Elliot Thomas, and Nicky Gilbert as a new signing / eventual betrayal towards better things but hey you do you. Aces Wild: Aaron Andrews, Devine Fortune, One Man Army Dazzling Dave Diamond. Your basic Anti-Syndicate. And while technically a Heel stable I like the idea of Troy Tornado finding out Painful Procedure was "big in Japan" and taking Yuri in as an on-screen protege. You could then pair them up with Joshua Taylor to continue the Japan association or have them be the annoying hanger-ons to Freddy Huggins and Matt Hocking
  19. I can't wait to steal the Chris Gethard Show joke and start the WWFJD (World Wrestling Federation Jesus Do) Modern - Deathmatch Combined: A style that had started within deathmatch companies that has since evolved into predominantly technical and high flying skills matches with occasional deathmatches.

I stole Dusty Ducont and made him a Runaway Train type in one save as well.</p><p> </p><p> Curious who everybody else likes to push for fun!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Robbie Retro was a Next Big Thing in a save I had and his run to the World Title was the most satisfying thing I've booked in all the time I've played TEW. He had excellent chemistry with Valiant and they ended up being Main Eventers and serving under Jack Bruce in his war against Rich Money, Eric Eisan, and Remo. Valiant ended up doing a movie and came back with A* Pop and I gave him the title, only for Robbie Retro to turn on him and becoming my number one heel and having to prove to himself that he was better than Valiant. </p><p> </p><p> It was definitely one of those saves where after working all the way towards the goal I had no use for it after.</p><p> </p><p> But to answer your question, Sammy Smoke is my eternal boy and will always be pushed. Oliver Kobb had a fun mid-card run as "The Southern Spoiler" who never said die and picked up wins he shouldn't have, one time he lost to Remo but survived long enough to prevent Remo from winning a Beat The Clock Challange that led to a fun two-week mini-feud. Jefferson Stardust is usually the featured part of his team and treated like a future star, and if I can sign him Jacob Jett has a "Neville in 205 Live" style run.</p>

Singh does act to be moved up which can get annoying but whatever I'm going to deal with his low morale. I also have given short deals to guys like Bob Casey, Thomas Morgan, and Paul Steadyfast because I like them.</p>
  22. <p>Noticed this happened a year ago in-game. I can't imagine what Danny Patterson has been teaching him, but Tommy was made Figurehead of 21CW the following March so it must have helped. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <a href="http://imgur.com/a/3ta9A" rel="external nofollow">http://imgur.com/a/3ta9A</a></p>
  23. Under the Child Companies tab have the company set as "Developmental Territory"
