  1. Nasty G's bio says "300lbs love machine" but he's listed as a Light Heavyweight. Should he be a Heavyweight or a Big Heavyweight, I'm unsure of what weight cut-offs y'all used. Or maybe this is part of his gimmick?
  2. Steve Austin walked out of the company completely because he was supposed to lose to Lesnar on a random TV Taping
  3. 1) I've seen The Devastators pick up The Nightmares - that was cool. Terry Thunder picks up Johnny Moore basically every time they're together. 2) Unemployed hire list: Knuckles, Ashmedai, Monoxide, and Steve Haven if you're feeling frisky.
  4. I'd imagine so. There's already a way to do this in 2016 by going to the a Worker Profile -> Match History and filtering by company
  5. I'm a strong believer that bumping and selling should have a little distinction between the two. It'd be nice to have a character trait or attribute for bumping. Bumper / Bumps Like A Boss - Able to make the simplest maneuver seem devastating. Can make a good match great. Most useful when being squashed or matched up with a Powerhouse, etc. to make the opponent look great. In a simple squash match a guy with a high bumper rating or a bumper trait will make their opponent look good even without a high selling rating. But having a low selling rating while having a high bumper rating/trait could end up overselling and in a more serious product/match aim or an uppercard spot and could hurt the rating of the match. So if someone is brought in that 'Bumps Like A Boss' but doesn't have a high selling rating, they could make a main event match look like a joke. However if they are allowed to develop and grow to a higher selling (Psychology?) rating to match their Bumps Like A Boss trait/rating they could take a main event match or a turn at their expense go to a whole new level. Just a thought.

  9. <p>In my 1991 NWA re-born fed some adjustments were necessary. The run up to our answer to WWF's SummerSlam and WCW's The Great American Bash, The Summer Sizzler Series was going along swimmingly. That was until WWF came aknockin for my upper midcard monstars. One Man Gang (known as Steven Regal's bodyguard William) and King Kong Bundy have been snatched up by WWF to written deals. Which kinda sucks when it comes to OMG as I was planning on having him turn face in the fall, but is kinda okay with KKB since the feud he was in was already going to be his last feud in NWA, but it was also my hottest midcard feud. </p><p> </p><p> Since The Summer Sizzler Series was already booked 6 weeks from my last PPV I decided to sign a quick TV deal for Events and air an appetizer for the two day summer extravaganza, the first ever NWA TV Slam Jam!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dr. Death Steve Williams pooped on William</strong></p><p> And he will never be seen or heard from again.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Shinobi def. Noko Shinsetsuna </strong>with the help of his fellow Oriental Assassins. </p><p> After Noko returned from injury, Shinobi went out of his way to show him that he is not welcome back and he still has not forgotten Noko's shock victory to advance in the Junior Heavyweight Tournament earlier in the year. However, Shinobi has yet to show that he can beat Noko without the help of Black Dragon and Great Sasuke.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dan Severn def. Bullet Bob Armstrong</strong></p><p> Dan Severn was always a little intense, but since dropping the US Heavyweight Title to Owen Hart two months ago, he has been a man on a mission to destroy any and everyone stepping into the ring with him. James Mitchell made an open challenge to the crowd to see if they could defeat The Beast. Unbeknownst to Mitchell and Severn, local legend Bob Armstrong was in the crowd and was willing to answer the challenge. Unfortunately Armstrong only became Severn's latest victim. He never stood a chance, but credit to the man for standing up to the challenge.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Steven Regal def. Steve Austin for the NWA Television Title</strong></p><p> Seeing as this was a special televised event, the Television title was indeed defended. Steven Regal along with the departing William and Chadwick (Axl Rotten) has spent his time in NWA writing checks with his mouth that his bottom could not cash. That was until he was able to pull of the shocking upset victory over Steve Austin. Austin has been pre-occupied helping his buddy Brian Pillman in his battle with The British Bruisers, as well as keeping his fiance out of the clutches of the Oriental Assassins and more recently Scott Hall. It was a perfect storm and Austin's Television title reign was torn away.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bam Bam Bigelow def. King Kong Bundy in a Loser Leaves The NWA Match</strong></p><p> King Kong Bundy spent his time in the NWA as a monster for hire. Well now that monster is buried under tires. After seeing that KKB would do a stunt bump, I came up with this decision to write him out of the company. Unfortunately he suffered a Jones Fracture and WWF's newest signee is out for ~2 months upon signing. Sorry Vince! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Marvelous Ones def. Robert Gibson in a Handicap Match</strong></p><p> The Marvelous Ones want the NWA World Tag Team Titles back. More importantly they want to send the Rock N' Roll Express into retirement. Their last tag title shot was lost due to Paul Orndorff intentionally trying and ultimately succeeding at breaking the already injured arm of Ricky Morton. With his partner laid up and the 30 day title defense deadline rapidly approaching, Robert Gibson chose to attempt to defend the titles alone. Luckily for Gibson, just before the bell was set to ring, NWA Liason Marc Lowrence announced that the NWA World Tag Team Titles will not be defended in a handicap match. Gibson fought valiantly but came up short. With the deadline set to expire 3 days before The Summer Sizzler Series, and the health of Ricky Morton unknown, what does the future hold for the Rock N' Roll Express and their NWA World Tag Team Titles?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Terry Funk def. Ricky Steamboat, Sid Vicious, and Mr. Rotunda to earn number one contendership for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship</strong></p><p> After the selection of the to date undefeated Brian Pillman to challenge Rick Rude in the main event of the evening, there were left no challengers for the title so the NWA decided to hold a four way match to determine the number one contender. While Ricky Steamboat and Sid Vicious chomped at the opportunity to face each other for the first time in a match. Terry Funk kept his eye on the prize pinning Magnificent One Mr. Rotunda to win the match. The celebration was short lived however as Abdullah The Butcher hit the ring and Funk about the head and face over and over with his trusty rusty fork. Terry Funk has some work to do if he wants to make it to Night 2 of the Summer Sizzler Series.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rick Rude def. Brian Pillman to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship</strong></p><p> Brian Pillman came into the NWA like a house of fire standing up to the established bad guys and standing up for the good guys no matter who or where. I'm trying my best not to hot shot him but my goodness he's been awesome in every segment I've had him in. This match was no different. Although he fell short, he showed Rick Rude and the entire NWA that Brian Pillman doubtlessly has championship potential.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Heading into Triple S our champions are:</p><p> NWA World Heavyweight - Rick Rude</p><p> NWA World Tag Team - The Rock N' Roll Express</p><p> NWA United States - Owen Hart</p><p> NWA United States Tag Team - The Fantastics</p><p> NWA Television - Steven Regal</p><p> </p><p> Just about to book the go home show for the Summer Sizzler Series, which is shaping up as:</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Night 1</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>The Rock N' Roll Express vs The Magnificent Ones - NWA World Tag Team Championship(???) 10. Thanks to life my '91 NWA resurrected game has stalled a bit but things are still going according to plan. Decided to hire Terry Funk as the next babyface in line to challenge Rick Rude for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Until then he's been added to my Terry Gordy/Steve Williams vs Cactus Jack/Bill Irwin feud that was just given new life as Truth or Consequences have brought in Abdullah The Butcher to aid them in their feud. They just had a helluva 6-man tag match at my last PPV, so good in fact that I decided to keep Abdullah around for another month and have him help build up Terry Funk as the toughest SOB on the planet while Steve Williams is ultimately set to be sacrificed to Rude's title reign. The Junior Heavyweight Title was a great idea but it got to be a bit unrealistic and overdoing it a bit having a Junior Heavyweight division as well as a secondary tag team division. No one was getting over as there was simply not enough air time for everyone so one division had to go. It did it's job and made Benoit, Jericho, Storm, and the Guerrero brothers solid lower midcarders ready to enter the US Tag Team Title and Television Title areas of the card. Other than that things are going swimmingly with NWA's eyes looking to the 3 night July bonanza known as The Summer Sizzler Series! I'll update with the card once I finally get there.
  11. A few updates with a helluva question... Using the spectacular Rising Storms 1991 mod I created the NWA in 1991 basically with the idea that the NWA kicked WCW out before they could leave. After holding a 32 man tournament to determine the first NWA Champion whilst also creating storylines to go on throughout the post tournament shows, and the first NWA champion is Rick Rude. Rude, Paul Orndorff, and Tully Blanchard declared themselves the Magnificent Ones a take off of the Four Horsemen, the question remained, who was the fourth man? In the main event of our first PPV: NWA The Ecstacy of Gold the fourth man was revealed. Michael Wallstreet, the financier. Not to blow my own horn but it was some of my best booking ever as I found a way to create tournaments for 5 different titles (NWA World Heavyweight, United States, Television, Tag Team and Junior Heavyweight titles too many available to not create a division) whilst creating and maintaining feuds both in and out of the title picture. Just held my second PPV which I called The Last Chance Saloon and it was basically my version of Backlash with TEoG being this years and the long term season finale. I did not expect it since it was mostly rematches from the last PPV and television but it was the best show NWA has put on yet. The biggest shock was Steve Williams and Terry Gordy vs Cactus Jack and Bill Irwin (I call them Truth or Consequences) getting a B+ rating! I'm a huge Mick Foley mark from my youth so I'm so excited to see him pulling ratings like this out in a give 'Gordy and Williams something to do while the Rock 'n Roll Express feud with Orndorff and Blanchard over the Tag Titles storyline.' It's been going so well that I can allow this feud to continue and have the RnRXpress and Magnificent Ones continue to feud for a few more months while I see how far Williams and Gordy and Irwin can lift Cactus. The only question now is who will challenge Rude for his NWA World Heavyweight Championship now that I've pretty much exhausted Ricky Steamboat for now. Bam Bam Bigelow whom has been feuding with Steven Regal and his Royal Guard Axl Rotten and One Man Gang? Do I put the tag champions the Rock n' Roll Express in a feud with Rude, continuing their feud with the other members of The Magnificent Ones? Do I end the amazing Violence Connection - Truth or Consequences feud that was supposed to build Steve Williams into this spot but now their match and segment ratings have been so awesome that I'm afraid to end it so soon? Do I hotshot an upper midcard face Matt Bourne in the #1 contenders role? Do I finagle a way to get Ricky Steamboat a third match for the NWA World Heavyweight Title? Do I sign a free agent and bring someone in on a short term deal (possible babyfaces opponents include: Andre The Giant, Jerry Lawler, Bob Backlund, Sid, Stan Hansen, Terry Funk, Tito Santana, and Wahoo McDaniel)? Other than that, essentially the rest of the year is pretty well planned out. As I write this I'm leaning towards Terry Funk but if and when I bring him in I want him as a heel and not a babyface, same with Lawler. Andre the Giant is not a main event talent but rather a midcard attraction at this point. Sid? Maybe? Sid and Steamboat seems like either the best combination ever or the worst ever. I'm not sure...Why didn't I have a backup plan for my top title? Only I would have the mid and lower card planned out long term but not the top title in the company, ha! No one has to answer these questions as I am drunk right now and I'm sure I'll figure something out the next time I open the game. But boy what a corner I've booked myself into, but I love it
  12. Just had my first televised event after importing the broadcasters from CV97 mod (which has really made the regional battles very interesting) Wrestle War Wrestling's Wrestle Wars XIII was the blow off for several feuds and I got my first ever B- rated match The Good Ol' Boys (Thimbleby Langdon & Wooten Fitzpaine) defended the Tag Titles over The Plague (Annihilus The Destructor & Samael The Accuser) Ant-Man finally beat Cobra to cap off their inhuman feud Sargent Rokker (The Silencer) defeated Hammerschmidt (Justice Jolson) in a Chain Match finally facing each other after about a dozen matches being scheduled and never happening after they consistently brawled with each other before the matches even had a chance to start and once even while fans filed into their seats before the show! Second highest rated match by the way with a C! Ross Henry squashed Romeo Romaro to calm the crowd and give me an excuse to use Ross Henry. Roxy Kitten, Romeo's valet was verrry impressed Joffy Laine defeated El Mitico Jr and Davis Wayne Newton in a three way dance for Joffy's self created King of Chicago Title. EMJ and DWN have been battling back and forth for months but neither can get the edge giving Joffy the opening to steal the win. Carnicería de América del Norte (Felipe Caballero & The Mean Green Gringo) beat Sunfire & Starchild in my idk what to do with them but they're all talented opener tag feud to calm the crowd down for... The Main Event, a match for the WWW Championship, Mighty Mo defeated champion Fro Sure. Why TCW let him go I have absolutely no idea but when I saw him available I was way too giddy. I'm not giddy enough to put the strap on him though and he won the match via count out after Kip Keenan came down and attacked Fro Sure to keep their feud going for another month. This was my first ever B- rated match and I can't wait to spam the hell out of Mighty Mo on every show especially after declaring war on PSW because Ernest Youngman didn't want to sign and they got hostile with me. Looking forward to see how far I can go before my roster gets raided. Already have no longterm plans for Mighty Mo and Ross Henry since I doubt they'll make it to the New Year since the national battle is really heating up and they both have star power out the wazoo and good popularity.
  13. Its from the Dev Journal under Screwed Up Endings. I remember being so excited when I first read about it but now that it reared it's ugly head I am definitely going to make safety one of my top stats to look at before hiring anyone. Just 2 months before Dean McWade also injured Jack DeColt. Should have taken heed to the warning. He isn't getting anywhere near my stars now and he will be keeping it simple every darn match.
  14. Just had the biggest show of the year in my CGC game. I turned The DeColt WrestleFestival into a four day tour of sorts. In the final show, the biggest show, the season finale my tag team division died a little One of the biggest surprises of the game Zeus, who was consistently getting C+ and B- performance grades and was set to drag Stevie Grayson kicking and screaming on a division saving run as tag team champions while I built up the not ready for primetime challengers below them through the middle of the year. Zeus Maxmillion got injured by Dean McWade in the match and they had to alter the finish on the fly with The McWades ending up as Tag Team Champions. The match was supposed to end with champions Zeus & Stevie retaining through interference that would allow the McWades to spin off into the spring and summer with the task of turning Ryan Powell into a believable main event babyface. So this injury and subsequent finish change, not only ruined my tag team division plans, but the Ryan Powell babyface push, and put one of my best and most reliable midcard talents out of action for 8 months. Of course the game decided to throw me a bone and Jack DeColt came up with a new catchphrase making him doubly amazing on the stick as if he wasn't important enough to this company... That being said the future looks bright suddenly for CGC. As long as I can find a way to get the belts off of the McWades without hotshotting and also keeping the straps from touching a DeColt since I am contractually obligated to make sure they never lose ever (that's how you keep Ricky DeColt from jumping ship to USPW folks!) Has anyone else had this happen and have it completely crap on important longterm plans and you end up with champions you never wanted? I need someone to feel my pain here...
  15. At least this cheap finish works within the frame of a storyline. And I can't really complain at seeing Roode and Styles go at it again in the future assuming Hardy doesn't win the belt at Genesis. If he does...all bets are off and the entire reign is ruined. Is it just me or has it been like a year since Daniels got a clean win?
  16. So WWE Network launches April 1st in conjunction with WrestleMania. Rumors saying that WrestleMania will be airing for free on the WWE Network and that many PPVs will be airing on the network. Sounds bloody brilliant to me.
  17. Impact has definitely gained direction since Brother Love took over. Do I like the direction? Eh not crazy over it. Especially with the knockouts car wash segment last week. But **** at least it's a direction and not twirling around like deflating balloon. But it seems at least you have a general idea of what to expect each week.
  18. Flipped on Impact catching the end of the main event. I have to say the end was one of the best endings to an Impact I can remember. Roode rules.
  19. Just wait until they put a twitter ticker on the screen during the Divas matches. It's coming.
  20. It happened because interleague play isn't special anymore. We say it's special because MLB pretends its special, but it's not an attendance boon other than when the big clubs come to town but its like that even in their own league. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that this is all part of a scheme to get the NL to take the DH. It's gonna happen eventually folks. And as a Phillies fan--who's 'superstar' first baseman enters the first year of a 5-year deal at $25M a year on crutches--I want it sooner rather than later.
  21. I couldn't go as I had to instead babysit . I did however watch the show. I wish I was there for that moment with Hogan. Wow. Even at home I got goosebumps. The main event however. I won't spoil it but Jesus H. Christ what a letdown. That finish was even more disappointing than Edge vs Orton at Over The Limit 2010. In retrospect they really should have had Hogan vs Sting main event the show.
  22. Is anyone else starting to get Russo-chills when watching Raw? Smackdown has been a much more fun ride in recent weeks.
  23. I'll be going as long as I can drag one of my friends to go with me.
