Diary Preview And Questions Thread

I don't think it matters whether it's smart or not. If you enjoy writing it and get something out of that process keep doing it, if you don't don't. It's too niche a hobby, and life is too short, to be doing what you think the small pool of available readers on here would enjoy if that's not what you want to write. -

AI Generated Cornellverse Content
Markw replied to Markw's topic in Total Extreme Wrestling 2020 Mods
If you want AI style belts then what's stopping you typing what you want into an AI image generator? Why do you need someone to do that for you? And please refrain from being snidey about work that people have actually put some effort into when you can't even be arsed to type a sentence or two into a search engine. -

I made a World Cup simulator site with a lot of dynamic elements.

I'd definitely second this, Champions League + European Leagues would be really fun. Was pleasantly surprised that this was a real thing and a pretty nice time killer π -

Thanks I'm still not 100% set on the level of zoom, definitely think there could be a case for me taking it back a little bit but I'll need to do some of the smaller workers and see how I feel. Was definitely conscious that Remo and Rocky should be big bulky lads though π -

Remo, not entirely happy with this one but I've spent too long on it already, might revisit when I've got more Gen9 stuff. -

Thtat's a really nice first render, great work. I don't think he's looking at the camera, take a look at some beginners guides for getting them to look at the camera. Excited to see how you develop π -

Just because there have been a few glum posters in various AI threads, just want to reiterate that the quality of the work our Daz renderers, photoshop/gimp logo creators and witchcraft/sorcerer belt creators produce is, in my view, infinitely preferable to the quantity provided by other sources. Your work is still very much appreciated by large chunks of this forum, so please donβt go getting any funny ideas about stopping π« -
You seem to be under the illusion that you've made a positive contribution to the game and community. You haven't. Have you read the opening post of this thread? 'Here's a mod I tried to build once but abandoned, but now I'm doing it and I need you folks to come up with ideas for me, do all of the actual modding for me, oh and by the way I stole all your renders, butchered them and gave the originals to random AI companies, cheers'. Come on. The people who have spent countless amounts of money and hours on rendering characters for these games are the people who we can't afford to lose. They have contributed an enormous amount to this game and community. You have contributed nothing. The people we can afford to lose from the community are the people who leech off and debase the work of others, without any appreciation for the work that's gone into creating what they think they 'don't need permission' to take.
-
Taking other people's hard work, getting AI to do a... job on it to make it look worse, and then claiming that you don't need the permission of the original artists to ruin their work and then pass it off as your own is not a great way to endear people to your mod really is it? My advice would be to ask people for permission to use their renders and use their unaltered renders (which look infinitely better than this), use Daz or similar software to produce your own renders or failing that use AI to create images that aren't just bastardised versions of works created by members of this community.
