1. Will you be periodically updating the main game link in the first post to include all the renders you've created subsequently in the thread?
 2.

I genuinely dread to think.

I am just looking at the next render rather than that far ahead. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

This looks great and very cool that you're updating with renders as you go. I've always found however that playing a game with many characters without renders is an immersion breaker for me, so I'm sure out of 10,000 characters there are a ton without renders .. What's the approximate amount of fighters that have renders versus don't ? And are you creating renders historically (as in guys who debut sooner will be created before those who debut later, so there would be more likelihood someone playing through it would have renders available if their game moves at a slower pace that mirror your render creation) ?

Thanks for the work on this.

 3.

Can I say I love the "Populate Fighters" feature? That is amazing.

I've just started my first game, playing a European promotion by the name of Grenadier, and I was intending to set them up as the place that covers the areas SIGMA doesn't - Featherweight and below. I didn't realise that the vanilla database doesn't have any appropriate fighters for Bantamweight and Flyweight but with Populate, bam, full roster!

I've never used populate really, but just to confirm when you then do that the resulting fighters you've created won't have renders, right?

 4.

Same way it works in other WMMA/TEW games, unless things have changed for some reason. First, go to the folder for your savegame and try using the backup file.

For example, I'd go to 'Program Files>GDS>WMMA5>Databases>Default>SaveGames>ALPHA-1>backup' and copy the WMMA5.mdb file, then paste and overwrite the one in the main ALPHA-1 folder. If it still works like before, that will take the save back to the most recent Monday.

If that doesn't take you back far enough to undo the mistake, you can at least put yourself back in control of your company, but you'll lose your stats and whatnot.

1. Go to Options and add a new player. Any unemployed character will do, and you should make them start the game unemployed.

2. Back in the Options menu, leave the game with your original avatar.

3. Add a new player again, picking your original avatar, and put them in control of the company you were running.

4. Leave the game with that temporary second player.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. It's really a shame there's not an overarching God/commissioner mode that someone can turn on when things like this arise.

 5.
I re-signed from the company I was running, because I wanted to briefly change something with another company ... I thought I could leave without saving and then just go back in to before I had re-signed, but it turns out it did save...

So now I am unemployed and unable to get back into my company ... is there any way to play like commissioner/God mode type thing and put myself back in place as the owner/CEO of my company, or am I basically screwed?

 6.

As a low level regional company starting out, what type of popularity gains can I expect? I'm having suitable main events every time (pretty much everyone on my roster can main event after a win or two), yet I'm only getting populariyt increases of 0.4 to 0.7% typically. Is that normal?

Oh, well I've signed a SportsTube deal and now the gains are up over 2%, so that's reasonable.

 7. As a low level regional company starting out, what type of popularity gains can I expect? I'm having suitable main events every time (pretty much everyone on my roster can main event after a win or two), yet I'm only getting populariyt increases of 0.4 to 0.7% typically. Is that normal?
 8. Ahh that makes sense. I can now see that everyone who is ranked has a fight in a local show (ie. in another weight class than openweight), whereas everyone not ranked has fought all their fights open weight. Perfect, thanks.
 9.
I am playing one of the 1993 reset C-verse mods ... I set it up so that only one company started - WVTC ... and they are openweight only. I set them to saturation for shows, so in the first 3 years of simming they have run 67 shows ....

The problem is, while they have 98 fighters on their roster, only like 8 of the fighters are listed on the company rankings ....

I have an annual Grand Prix in this organization too ... and for example Sean Morrison won the last one, he has a record of 10-0 and still isn't listed in the company rankings .... This is obviously impacting how the AI hands out title fights too (only giving them to people in the rankings) .. For example, Rafael Huerta won the first two Grand Prix, has a record of 14-2, huge popularity (low level national in the company home region compared to the company's high level regional popularity) and yet he's never been ranked and thus never got a title shot. Why is that? Definitely a big immersion breaker for these top guys who win a bunch to never get the title shot. I'm at a loss for why this would be.

 10. Is it possible to edit the frequency of how often local shows (both small and large) are held ?
 11. OK, now I'm thoroughly confused.. When you were mentioning you created thousands of fighters I was assuming this wasn't based on the C-Verse, but now I see that it is, in fact, as there are a number of familiar/C Verse fighters there (all of them)... So, is this in fact the original, C-Verse fighters, basically with their ages changed and their stats decreased so they are more one dimensional? Plus the addition of the other weight class fighters you added? I just want to be sure I know what I'm getting into. Also, the + version of the mod didn't start with just Kumite ... in fact it started with 8 different companies open right away.
 12.

Fighters stats- every single fighter has unique stats. I didn't lower any stats but instead completely redid all the stats to make these fighters actually fit the beginning of mma. I did this by making thousands of fighters (doing the populate fighter option). Every fighter would be someone you'd expect to be on ufc 1-10 basically. So mostly one dimensional fighters.

Oh I see. I has mistakenly thought that this was a remake/adjustment of the C Verse, but I guess it's a completely separate entity.

Ages- all fighters either have debuted or will debut during the first year and will be between the ages of 18-38.

Oh ok so I guess with no new fighters debuting after year 1 it would he advisable to have regeneration on?

+ option- the game comes with 800+ unused renders. This is to fill the game world out as it evolves. I took all those renders and added them to the game already. I made the female atomweight and strawweight female divisions and the men's flyweight. Every fighter has a render. And it's not 100 and 200 more in each division. That's total. So more then 1800 male fighters and 500 female fighters total.

Very cool. However if there are 800 unused photos that you added to the game, but 1800 total fighters, how does everyone have a render?

 13.
Very cool, I'm looking forward to checking this out. A few questions.

All fighters stats have been changed to better simulate the start of the MMA world.

Were these widespread changes made to the entirety of the database fighters? Or just specific changes to specific fighters?

For example, Undertaker6666's fresh start 1993 mod he has one where he simply reduced all stats by 20 per cent, and it works out pretty well. But it seems you maybe took a more concerted approach?

All fighters ages have been changed to better simulate a world starting in 1993.

What do you mean by that exactly? Ages dropped?

Did you change the debut ages of the fighters in the database, or will it still just be that they roll out and debut when they are scheduled to from the original database.

In addition, there is a second database called Alpha and Omega + which has a few additional changes:

All free pictures are removed and used to make new fighters.

Each weight class 100+(Women's Atomweight-Featherweight) or 200+ (Men's Flyweight-Super Heavyweight) fighters in them.

Some fighters have been moved to different weight classes to make this possible.

So the difference between this and the other one is simply that the + mod has more fighters in the database? And, is that 100 or more new fighters in EACH division Women's Atomweight to Featherweight, or 100+ total added between all those divisions? And 200+ added into all the men's divisions.

Also, all these added characters have renders?

 14.

Going to be working on a mid to late 80's Dawn of MMA for the default database and I was wondering if you could force AI companies to run only tournaments, been thinking of ways to supplement fights before the database blows up in the mid 90's and if I can force promotions to strictly run tournaments or a tournament every event with other fights to round them out would allow some fighters like Foster, Fezzik and the rest of the older guys a chance to pad out their record before the boom of 1993.

This would be awesome, but as near as I can tell I don't think it's possible. It seems all you can do is get them to run the annual grand prix. Maybe a good suggestion for inclusion? I would definitely like that.

 15. That's a pretty cool name. I usually start up a small Canadian or ad well. Have any logos or graphics you use for it by any chance ?
 16.
Not that it's time to think about future releases on the day a new WMMA comes out ...

But "WMMA 5: One Last Round" as a title sounds kind of ominous... The series will be concluded with version 5?

 17. Dumb question, but I just start a from scratch fed... We don't have a TV show or anything, so what is the way I should be booking shows? When I go to 'schedule' page I presume it's "add event" but this seems to be adding regularly scheduled, recurring events (since it asks me if I want it to be weekly, monthly, annual or special event, etc.) I also try clicking on house show, since I figure pretty much everything when you are a small fed is going to be a house show, but that also doesn't lead anywhere. So I create my first event with the 'add event' button and under the special reoccurrence, now it's listed as a recurring event ... Is 'add event' the way I should be going about doing shows? Then if I plan to run say monthly shows, just put the frequency as monthly and all my shows will be automatically generated every month? Not sure if I'm making myself clear, but hope so...
 18.
Very unfamiliar with the Cornvellverse (and TEW in general, to be honest... only ever dabbled with the demo before but never could get fully hooked).

I'm planning on starting a 0/0/0/0 fed (or maybe something close to it, since I'm a rookie player I might start with money or something else to make it a bit easier) ... Likely going to start this fed in Canada and make it somewhat hardcore style. Just wondering, any good wrestlers that start unemployed that you would recommend me to go get? That work cheaply and/or are somewhat talented/useful.

Also, any other general suggestions would be appreciated for this type of setup. Thanks!

 19. How on earth do you play a game for 34 hours? Wouldn't you need some sleep? How far into the future did you get after 34 hours?
