  1. Quick Thoughts from Week 1

    • Nuclear & Mastachas still the two to beat in Alpha. Not expecting Molina to be down for long.
    • Monty Event Monty's still running wild and outside of maybe Mitchell, I don't see an answer for the Hammer in Beta this season.
    • The Heartilly redemption tour has began.
    • STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELEEEE JUSTICE to run the Delta Table.
    • Speaking on Delta, could this be Scott Steven's best chance to escape?

    WEEK TWO SCHEDULE

    ALPHA DIVISION

    (2) Brandy McDonald (1-0, OVR 553) vs. (4) Nuclear Templeton (1-0, OVR 594) [Career: Tied 4 - 4]

    - One of the few wrestlers in the League to match up well against the Champ. Not going to be enough with the form he's in,

    (1) George Mastachas (1-0, OVR 564) vs. (5) Brian Blackfield (0-1, OVR 557) [Career: George Mastachas, 2 - 0]

    - There's levels to this and Blackfield's not there yet.

    (3) Christian Priest (1-0, OVR 560) vs. (7) Lucas Molina (0-1, OVR 478) [Career: Christian Priest, 4 - 2]

    - Two big rival match-ups in two weeks for The First Church to start Alpha Division. Molina's probably the premier "grinder" in the League - just turns any match into a slow grappling event and has 3-4 dangerous holds can get be chained out of no where. Unless you're able to complete with his grappling/ground game (Spoiler: Priest can not), able to out power or hit a blitz Molina within 10-15mins, then you're looking at a Molina submission win.

    Hoping for a 12 minute demolition 4* MOTN, expecting a 27min 1-2* slog.

    (7) Reverend Johnny Gross (0-1, OVR 510) vs. (6) Jean-Paul Ouilette (0-1, OVR 520) [Career: Reverend Johnny Gross, 2 - 0]

Johnny's got Jean's number, despite his fortunes in Alpha.

    BETA DIVISION

    (4) Billy Norris (1-0, OVR 528) vs. (3) De'siree Mitchell (1-0, OVR 510) [First Career Meeting]

    - I've got Mitchell as the clear #2 behind Monty in Beta, let's see her put the work in early.

    (2) Diego Rodriguez (1-0, OVR 488) vs. (1) Monty Dhillon (1-0, OVR 513) [Career: Monty Dhillon, 2 - 0]

    - Monty's too big, too strong and almost an excellent Grappler. Another sub 10 minute Empire Bomb finish for The Hammer.

    (7) Yoshii Nakamatsu (0-1, OVR 495) vs. (5) Angela Wassermann (0-1, OVR 446) [Career: Yoshii Nakamatsu, 4 - 0]

    - This has to be one of the most one sided records surely?

CAGE MATCH: (5) Kichi Hida (0-1, OVR 441) vs. (7) Pulsar (0-1, OVR 473) [First Career Meeting]

    - Facing Hida in a cage feels like cruel and unusual punishment. This will be ugly.

    GAMMA DIVISION

    (1) Indigo Rose (1-0, OVR 471) vs. (5) Daniel Simmons (0-1, OVR 447) [Career: Daniel Simmons, 2 - 0]

    - Picking against the record here, ring rust still a factor.

    (2) Lance Heartilly (1-0, OVR 433) vs. (4) Blood River (1-0, OVR 469) [First Career Meeting]

    - Roll on with the Heartily Revenge Tour

    (6) Nocturne (0-1, OVR 412) vs. (6) Markus Clay (0-1, OVR 438) [First Career Meeting]

    - Clay tends to struggle with Technicians and Nocturne is an excellent one,

    (3) Leon de Ramos (1-0, OVR 422) vs. (6) Rock Sheridan (0-1, OVR 418) [Career: Rock Sheridan, 2 - 0]

    - Love Leon, great grappler but still hasn't figured out a way to stop the Rock.

    DELTA DIVISION

    HARDCORE MATCH: (6) Diamond (0-1, OVR 440) vs. (3) Mickey Steele (1-0, OVR 412) [Career: Tied 1 - 1]

    - What's harder than Steele? HARDCORE STEEEEEEEEELE

    (1) Scott Stevens (1-0, OVR 399) vs. (5) Terrance Stevens (0-1, OVR 438) [First Career Meeting]

    - 2nd of 4 match-ups in the Stevens Invitational. Backing the Scorpion here

    (6) Terra Harding (0-1, OVR 405) vs. (4) Erick Gibson (1-0, OVR 421) [First Career Meeting]

    - Flipping a coin flip, plus Harding's an unknown quality currently.

    (2) "Dirty" John Murdoch (1-0, OVR 408) vs. (8) George Stevens (0-1, OVR 390) [First Career Meeting]

Old technician vs a large bruiser with stamina issues? If it wasn't in Delta, would feel more confident for Murdoch.

  2. The camera fades in on a dimly lit wrestling ring, the ropes frayed and the mat stained with the battles of the past. The arena is almost empty, save for a few scattered chairs and a solitary spotlight illuminating the center of the ring. The sound of heavy boots echoing on the wooden floor grows louder. "Dirty" John Murdoch steps into the light, his grizzled face and scarred body a testament to decades of hard-fought battles. He wears a faded leather jacket, and his eyes burn with determination.

"Well, well, well... look who's still standin?"

He paces the ring, dragging his fingers along the top rope, eyes glinting with a mixture of nostalgia and defiance.

"You see, some folks are born with silver spoons in their mouths, but not me. I was born with a fist full of grit and a heart full of fight. They call me 'Dirty' for good reason. I didn't get where I am by playin' fair. I got here by scratchin', clawin', and doin' whatever it took to survive."

"For over three decades, I’ve spilled blood, sweat, and tears on this canvas, takin’ on anyone who had the guts to stand across from me. Every scar on this body, every broken bone, every drop of blood spilled… it’s a testament to the life I’ve lived, the wars I’ve fought. They said I was too old, too broken down, that my best days were behind me. But let me tell you somethin', son. You don’t count out a rattlesnake just ’cause he’s got a few more scales. I’m still here! I’m still fightin’! And I’m still the meanest, toughest son of a gun you’ll ever step in the ring with!"

Murdoch steps closer to the camera, his eyes piercing through the lens, as if staring directly into the soul of every viewer.

"To all you young punks out there, thinkin’ you can make a name for yourself by takin’ down an old dog like me, you better think twice. I’ve buried better folks than you, and I’ll do it again without breakin’ a sweat. ‘Cause when you step into the ring with John Murdoch, you’re not just fightin’ a man. You’re fightin’ a legacy! You’re fightin’ every demon I’ve faced, every challenge I’ve overcome, and every ounce of fury that’s kept me goin’ all these years. Simply put, when you're facin' John Murdoch, you're playin' with fire"

John slowly pulls a lighter from his left pocket, as he slyly pulls a piece of flash paper from under his wrist tape - before engulfing the camera's lens into flames of the fireball.

    "You're goin' to get burned"

The camera fades out, with the sound of Murdoch's maniacal cackling filling the air, his piercing gaze still visible through the smoke and the flames.

    (1) Nuclear Templeton (0-0, OVR 588) vs. (4) Brian Blackfield (0-0, OVR 555) [Career: Nuclear Templeton, 2 - 0]

    (7) Diego Rodriguez (0-0, OVR 485) vs. (8) Kichi Hida (0-0, OVR 442) [Career: Tied 1 - 1]

    (1) De'siree Mitchell (0-0, OVR 506) vs. (4) Angela Wassermann (0-0, OVR 447) [First career meeting]

    - Mitchell should be a class above. Should.

    (5) Pulsar (0-0, OVR 476) vs. (3) Billy Norris (0-0, OVR 525) [Career: Tied 2 - 2]

    - Go for the popular one in a coinflip.

    (6) Monty Dhillon (0-0, OVR 510) vs. (2) Yoshii Nakamatsu (0-0, OVR 498) [First career meeting]

    - Undefeated season again? Doubt it but Monty's still the one to beat.

    GAMMA DIVISION

    HARDCORE MATCH: (1) Blood River (0-0, OVR 466) vs. (2) Daniel Simmons (0-0, OVR 449) [Career: Daniel Simmons, 2 - 0]

    - Rose still one of the top contenders here.

  4. The camera fades in, as Pastor Abe Richards is standing upon a stage. Leaning upon a make-shift pulpit within a small room, it appears to be less of an impromt sermon rather than a pre-planned recording for online. The microphone beings to crackle as the "good pastor" simmers the crowd down and begins his speech.

I told you, I told you, I TOLD YOU.

They say you can lead a man to water, but BY GOD you can not make them drink. Lucas Molina I warned you, I pleaded, begged you not to pick this fight and what happened? For forty-five minutes you endured a senseless beating - for your pride? The First Church offered charity, though mercy and wisdom. You accepted neither and suffered for it. Greatly.

Now, now. No good deed to go unpunished! Becauses it sure seems that the good lord above works in mysterious ways. REVEREEEEND JOHHHNY GROSS - How does it feel? That no matter what you do, your future lies within our hands.

Pastor Richard's smug face, churning into a wry smile - twisting the proverbial dagger before uttering the his next line.

    Almost feels like fate?

No, I assure you good sir that no act of god nor any DIIIIII-VINE INTERVENTION can save you. Priest's long awaited ascension to Alpha may spare you of his RIGHTEOUS FURY - But fear not, for The Hammer of the Church, Monty Dhillon will assume the mantle of destruction in his place next season. You will become the martyr you've always wanted to be. The grim reminder of the cost for opposing the Church.

Richard's eyes light up, as he reaches out towards the camera. Almost if he was any viewers to arms

To our loyal believers, are at the cusp of our finest hour! Can you feel it? The Dawn of the League's New Era is at hand!

It's almost time! To cast down false idols and set aside the unworthy! Prepare as The First Church kicks down the gates of Alpha Division and begins it's march to claim their rightful throne at the Altar of Professional Wrestling!

Camera fades out as the visually animated Richards - face sweating, arms and hands extended towards a sea of camera flashes and faceless people. Seeking and receiving the applause from the (most likely paid) faithful audience.

  5. WEEK THIRTEEN CARD

The * in each pairing denotes the winner of the previous match this season

    ALPHA DIVISION

    (5) Jean-Paul Ouilette (5-7, OVR 543) vs. (y-1) Nuclear Templeton (10-2, OVR 579)* [Career: Nuclear Templeton, 1 - 0]

    - The champ doing chamop things.

    (4) Brian Blackfield (5-7, OVR 589)* vs. (7) The Mastodon (5-7, OVR 550) [Career: Brian Blackfield, 1 - 0]

    - Blackfield's not the juggernaut of old, but he still knows how to handle a bigger opponent.

    (2) George Mastachas (8-4, OVR 560) vs. (6) Mel O'Hallister (5-7, OVR 555)* [Career: George Mastachas, 3 - 2]

    - The former champ still the clear No.2 in Aplha Division.

    (8) De'siree Mitchell (3-9, OVR 519) vs. (3) Brandy McDonald (7-5, OVR 547)* [Career: Brandy McDonald, 5 - 2]

    - Going off both career and seasonal records.

    BETA DIVISION

    EUROPEAN RULES MATCH: (1) Lucas Molina (10-2, OVR 519)* vs. (2) Christian Priest (9-3, OVR 612) [Career: Christian Priest, 3 – 2. European Rules Records: Priest 2 – 0, Molina 0 – 1.]

    - Big fight feel again this season. Honestly feel that this style of match favours Priest, more chance of grabbing a fall within a round rather than being grounded and grinded away by Molina. Should be a good one with big implications on the line if Gross gets up too.

    (4) Yoshii Nakamatsu (7-5, OVR 538)* vs. (6) Pulsar (4-8, OVR 504) [Career: Yoshii Nakamatsu, 3 - 0]

    - Nakamatsu started hot and unfortunately faded. Too good for the midde of the pack, not good enough this season to trouble promotion.

    (z-8) Blood River (1-11, OVR 512) vs. (3) Reverend Johnny Gross (8-4, OVR 536)* [Career: Reverend Johnny Gross, 2 - 1]

    - Would be absolutely on brand here for River to steal it, but should be all Gross.

    (5) Billy Norris (6-6, OVR 538)* vs. (7) Angela Wassermann (3-9, OVR 494) [Career: Billy Norris, 6 - 1]

    - Again, the career record is nuts.

    GAMMA DIVISION

    (5) Big Scott Weathers (5-7, OVR 513) vs. (2) Diego Rodriguez (8-4, OVR 547)* [Career: Diego Rodriguez, 1 - 0]

    - Dull submission victory awaits.

    TABLES MATCH: (y-1) Monty Dhillon (12-0, OVR 567)* vs. (7) Lance Heartilly (4-8, OVR 465) [Career: Monty Dhillon, 2 – 1. Tables Records: Dhillon 1 – 1.]

    - Who's stopping Monty? Not Heartilly, or anyone in GAMMA this season. Express trip to table break courtesy of an Empire Bomb.

    (z-8) Terrance Stevens (1-11, OVR 496) vs. (4) Indigo Rose (7-5, OVR 528)* [Career: Indigo Rose, 3 - 2]

    - Rose fighting for promotion, Stevens been a non-factor.

    (6) Markus Clay (4-8, OVR 497)* vs. (3) Kichi Hida (7-5, OVR 494) [Career: Markus Clay, 1 - 0]

    - Surely not. Clay isn't the one to deny Hida here again.

    DELTA DIVISION

    (2) Rock Sheridan (8-4, OVR 440)* vs. (3) Diamond (7-5, OVR 510) [Career: Rock Sheridan, 1 - 0]

    - Too big, too strong here.

    (4) Leon de Ramos (7-5, OVR 434)* vs. (1) Nocturne (9-3, OVR 464) [Career: Leon de Ramos, 1 - 0]

    - Hopefully lightning will strike twice, create some chaos in the Delta race.

    SUBMISSION MATCH: (6) Sterling Silver (5-7, OVR 470)* vs. (8) George Stevens (2-10, OVR 417) [Career: Sterling Silver, 1 – 0. Submission Match records: Stevens 0 – 1.]

    - George likely gasses out too quickly here.

    (7) Mickey Steele (5-7, OVR 427) vs. (5) Scott Stevens (5-7, OVR 442)* [Career: Scott Stevens, 1 - 0]

    - It's a STEEEELE RESURGENCE folks.

TRAINING AND PREDICTION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, APRIL 12, 2024 AT 11:59 PM EASTERN US! (A REMINDER TO THOSE OUTSIDE THE US, DAYLIGHT SAVINGS IS NOW IN EFFECT HERE SO THE EASTERN US IS TREATED AS UTC-4, NOT THE USUAL UTC-5. PLEASE CALIBRATE YOUR TIMEPIECES ACCORDINGLY!)

  6. Pastor Richards predicts total victory against Molina this Sunday! Runs down the new champion & more in a fiery rant!

SL4M FM was once again "graced" by Pastor Abe Richards, who this time was available to briefly take questions from our staff & audience. We've listed a few the best below from earlier today!

    • Last time you were here and THAT loss to Reverend Gross

"It was the loss that needed to happen. Credit to Johnathan, he came out and fought like his very soul was at stake. The night is darkest before the dawn and ever since then night Priest has been unstoppable. It was just a week later, along side the indomitable hammer of the First Church - Monty Dhillon, we witnessed the righteous Christian Priest cast his judgement and send him & Blackfield home in two straight falls in the TTT!"

    • The First Church as TTT Champions

"A glorious day for our followers and the day of reckoning for our foes. The TTT was a showing of strength, faith and destruction. That the First Church firmly has seized the wrestling world by the throat. Oh brothers & sisters, this is merely just the beginning".

    • This Sunday, European Rules vs Lucas Molina

"I believe myself to be a rational man, but for what reason would someone willingly wish to confine themselves into such an environment with a force like Christian Priest is beyond me. Our paragon, all 6'6ft & 320 plus pounds of sheer violence and malice, he shrugs off blows that would fall lesser men. And you chose to fight him? In a match where you need to beat such a man... twice?

No, this goes beyond mere pride - I fear you've lost your mind! Surely that chip upon your shoulder can't be that colossal? Even for yourself Lucas, you've already been down this road before and suffered. Greatly. Why insist on provoking the beast?

It's a damn shame since I respect you and your talents. There's a purity to your craft and your dogged determination, wrestling's Patron Saint of Persistence. You persist in this pursuit to interrupt the inevitable and continue to be a thorn in our side. Whilst you can can point to your two victories against Priest, to us you are just a broken clock - Managed get the time right twice, but wrong on every other occasion.

If you insist on The First Church being the albatross around your neck, then we'll have no qualms to use it and hang you out to dry."

    • Monty Dhillon's meteoric rise

"It's remarkable what a little bit of faith can do. Everyone could see it, Dhillon - an incredible talent just needed to overcome his demons and be given... purpose. And look now! You want to talk about your Juggernauts and your Champions? Undefeated in singles competition since united with Priest in last season's TTT. One half of this season's champions! You're witnessing a generational run, from a generational, unstoppable force here folks"

    • Thoughts on the League Champion, Nuclear Templeton

"What kind of weak, top flight Division crowns their champion three weeks out from the Season's end? A champion is only as strong as their competition is. How are you met to run with the wolves at night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies? The First Church stands at the gates Alpha Division, ready to storm the brittle kingdom of liars and false prophets - for their day of judgement is almost at hand as we wait to coronate a worthy champion, our future and new Paragon of Professional Wrestling!"

    • Future? What happens if Priest & Dhillon were to face off for the League's Title.

"Wait what, what are you trying to do here? Trying to stow discontent? The First Church stands united and no cheap or underhanded, shameful tricks will cause any rift here. This interview is over."

Just a quick one this week. Gotta catch up on two weeks of league results (TTT I swore was this upcoming weekend.. That said great to see Monty & Priest take it out).

  8. Breaking News:

"SL4M FM - We're receiving unconfirmed reports. 3rd party flyers are allegedly being distributed, ahead of this weeks hotly anticipated League grudge match between Reverend Johnny Gross & Christian Priest. When questioned upon any involvement - Pastor Abe Richards declined to comment at this time, instead recommending to our listeners to head down this weekend for quote "A vulgar display of wrestling violence that only The First Church could offer".

Upon locating one of the flyers, it appears there's a message on the back.

Again, we'll provide updates as more news becomes readily available."

Two Minutes to Midnight - The Gospel of Priest

    I prayed for this.

Bitterly watched you climb to the highest of highs,

To catch a fleeting glimpse of the promise land,

Only to watch you fall, it's glory snatched away.

Oh god, I’ve waited for this. For five long months.

Driven by contempt, I counted down every day.

Refused to allow the indignity of it all to consume me.

The First Church continues to grow stronger.

Where ever we walk, we stands indomitable..

But look at you, caught in the tide - flailing, drowning in the deep waters.

Even your Juggernaut falters. The Faustian bargain between you has corrupted you both.

Bad enough, how did it feel when he ripped away your spot in Alpha?

    Regardless, the time has come.

Saturday Night, February 25th – Reverend Johnny Gross your judgement falls in my hands.

    I CHOSE VIOLENCE!

    I CHOSE NO MERCY!

    I CHOSE DESTRUCTION!

Examples must be made; debts must be paid.

For what kind of world would allow such deeds to go unpunished?

For kind of deity would approve of such acts devastation?

For this could only mean one thing.

It appears your god had chosen me too.

    (1) Nuclear Templeton (5-1, OVR 552) vs. (5) Brian Blackfield (3-3, OVR 577) [First Career Matchup]

    - Big fight feel to this and it's the kind of match-up that Blackfield's built his League career on.

    (2) George Mastachas (4-2, OVR 542) vs. (3) Jean-Paul Ouilette (4-2, OVR 536) [First Career Matchup]

Backing the champ but it's a another test for JPO.

    BETA DIVISION

    (3) Christian Priest (4-2, OVR 588) vs. (6) Reverend Johnny Gross (3-3, OVR 517) [First Career Matchup]

    - Grudge match time, ex-partners collide after narrowly missing another in the TTT. Hopefully Priest's too big and strong for Gross here.

    (7) Blood River (1-5, OVR 507) vs. (5) Billy Norris (3-3, OVR 523) [Career: Tied 2 - 2]

    - Backing my fellow Aussie in a speed battle

    (8) Angela Wassermann (1-5, OVR 482) vs. (2) Yoshii Nakamatsu (4-2, OVR 526) [Career: Yoshii Nakamatsu, 2 - 0]

    - Wassermann needs to turn it around and fast. Just don't think that Yoshii's the one to do it against.

    (4) Pulsar (3-3, OVR 492) vs. (1) Lucas Molina (5-1, OVR 497) [First Career Matchup]

    - Historically, this is the kind of matches Molina drops. That said, he should take this

    GAMMA DIVISION

    (1) Monty Dhillon (6-0, OVR 546) vs. (2) Kichi Hida (5-1, OVR 482) [Career: Tied 2 - 2]

    - MOTN for me (outside of Priest/Gross). Give me that violence between the immovable force and the irresistible object

    (8) Terrance Stevens (1-5, OVR 491) vs. (3) Diego Rodriguez (4-2, OVR 524) [Career: Tied 1 - 1]

    - This is just the kind of match-up that Stevens thrives in. A potentially body blow for Diego's chances this season

    (4) Markus Clay (3-3, OVR 491) vs. (7) Indigo Rose (1-5, OVR 498) [Career: Tied 2 - 2]

    - Rose is struggling, Clay is currently outside looking in.

HARDCORE MATCH: (6) Lance Heartilly (2-4, OVR 453) vs. (5) Big Scott Weathers (2-4, OVR 500) [First Career Matchup]

    - Lance is built to take down wrestlers like Big Scotty.

    DELTA DIVISION

    (6) Diamond (3-3, OVR 492) vs. (7) Mickey Steele (2-4, OVR 410) [First Career Matchup]

    - Diamond's a harder substance that Steel sadly 😢

    (3) Nocturne (4-2, OVR 445) vs. (5) Scott Stevens (3-3, OVR 431) [Career: Tied 1 - 1]

    - We'll go for the result that creates the most chaos pre-TTT.

    (2) Leon de Ramos (4-2, OVR 418) vs. (4) Sterling Silver (3-3, OVR 457) [First Career Matchup]

    - Backing the technician over the flyer here

    (1) Rock Sheridan (5-1, OVR 423) vs. (8) George Stevens (0-6, OVR 403) [First Career Matchup]

    - Big Ol' Hoss Fight. Picking the biggest hoss with hair

  9. WEEK SIX CARD

    ALPHA DIVISION

    (4) Brian Blackfield (3-2, OVR 578) vs. (5) Jean-Paul Ouilette (3-2, OVR 533) [Career: Brian Blackfield, 2 - 0]

    - Juggernaut rolls on here despite JPO's surprising season so far

    TABLES MATCH: (3) George Mastachas (3-2, OVR 539) vs. (2) Brandy McDonald (3-2, OVR 529) [Career: Tied 3 – 3. Mastachas is 0 – 1 in Tables matches]

    - Genuinely this could decide who's Nuclear's biggest contender for this season.

    EUROPEAN RULES MATCH: (7) De'siree Mitchell (1-4, OVR 506) vs. (1) Nuclear Templeton (4-1, OVR 546) [Career: Nuclear Templeton, 5 – 1. Mitchell is 0 – 1 in European Rules matches.]

    - This feels like an easy MOTN Contender and yet a chance at the shortest European Rules Match. Nuclear 2-1 in under 25mins

    (6) Mel O'Hallister (2-3, OVR 535) vs. (8) The Mastodon (1-4, OVR 527) [Career: Tied 2 - 2]

    - Sadly not Mastodon's season :(

    BETA DIVISION

    (4) Billy Norris (3-2, OVR 522) vs. (3) Christian Priest (3-2, OVR 583) [First Career Meeting]

    - On paper Priest should be too big for Norris. Fly vs Windscreen but his form so far has been shaky.

    (1) Yoshii Nakamatsu (4-1, OVR 524) vs. (2) Lucas Molina (4-1, OVR 493) [First Career Meeting]

    - Yoshii's not the biggest but he's as dangerous a striker that Beta Division offers, plus has fantastic grappling skills. However Molina's takes this to the ground and grinds it out in a dull 20 minute grind.

    (7) Blood River (1-4, OVR 507) vs. (5) Pulsar (2-3, OVR 490) [Career: Pulsar, 2 - 0]

    - Mask off? Pulsar's got the season form and the career record here

HARDCORE MATCH: (8) Angela Wassermann (1-4, OVR 481) vs. (6) Reverend Johnny Gross (2-3, OVR 512) [Career: Reverend Johnny Gross, 2 – 0. Wassermann is 3 – 0 in Hardcore matches. Gross is 1 – 0 in Hardcore matches.]

    - Both undefeated in Hardcore matches, but under-performing this season. I'll back the better striker here but this is a coinflip.

    GAMMA DIVISION

HARDCORE MATCH: (3) Diego Rodriguez (4-1, OVR 524) vs. (1) Monty Dhillon (5-0, OVR 542) [First Career Meeting]

    - Main Event Monty's running wild brother, he's bettered Priest's impressive performance last season at this stage. Fully expecting a violent beatdown here for Diego.

    (5) Big Scott Weathers (2-3, OVR 500) vs. (2) Kichi Hida (4-1, OVR 478) [First Career Meeting]

    - There are few wrestlers that can weather the storm of violence that is Hida. Big Scott is not one of them.

    (8) Terrance Stevens (0-5, OVR 487) vs. (4) Markus Clay (3-2, OVR 490) [Career: Markus Clay, 5 - 1]

    - Backing that absurd career record

    (7) Indigo Rose (1-4, OVR 497) vs. (6) Lance Heartilly (1-4, OVR 450) [First Career Meeting]

    - I didn't have these two bottoming out GAMMA, so I'll go for the experienced one here.

    DELTA DIVISION

    (6) Sterling Silver (2-3, OVR 455) vs. (4) Scott Stevens (3-2, OVR 432) [First Career Meeting]

    - Another 50/50, but it looks like Stevens has found his footing on his return to the League

SUBMISSION MATCH: (5) Diamond (2-3, OVR 488) vs. (8) George Stevens (0-5, OVR 402) [First Career Meeting. Diamond is 1 – 2 in Submission matches.]

    - This almost feels like a match Diamond would lose. Surely not right?

CAGE MATCH: (7) Mickey Steele (1-4, OVR 407) vs. (3) Nocturne (4-1, OVR 445) [First Career Meeting]

    - I'm praying for some Steele on Steel violence, but I'm expecting a Nocturne win here.

    (2) Leon de Ramos (4-1, OVR 417) vs. (1) Rock Sheridan (4-1, OVR 419) [First Career Meeting]

    - Leon's been great so far, as has Rock. Likely decides the Divisional favorite this week, so I'll take the homer pick 😛

  10. WEEK FIVE CARD

    ALPHA DIVISION

LAST ONE STANDING MATCH: (5) Brian Blackfield (2-2, OVR 572) vs. (3) Mel O'Hallister (2-2, OVR 534) [First Career Meeting. Blackfield is 2-0 in Last One Standing matches; O’Hallister is 3-0 in Last One Standing matches]

    - Fascinating that the competitors are holding a combined 5-0 record in LOS Matches. I'll pick with my heart and back O'Hallister

    (2) Nuclear Templeton (3-1, OVR 541) vs. (8) The Mastodon (1-3, OVR 525) [Career: Nuclear Templeton, 4 - 2]

    - HOSS LARIAT FIGHT. Shame Mastodon's stumbled back from last season, should be a win for the former champ.

    (6) Jean-Paul Ouilette (2-2, OVR 528) vs. (1) Brandy McDonald (3-1, OVR 528) [First Career Meeting]

    - Brandy looks like the one to beat so far, so we'll back her despite an impressive win for JPO last week.

    (4) George Mastachas (2-2, OVR 534) vs. (7) De'siree Mitchell (1-3, OVR 505) [Career: George Mastachas, 4 - 2]

    - Must win for De'siree, but the Champ is after a bounce back win

    BETA DIVISION

    (1) Christian Priest (3-1, OVR 583) vs. (3) Lucas Molina (3-1, OVR 489) [Career: Christian Priest, 3 - 1]

    - I've got a bad feeling about this one and Molina's been unlucky in the last few encounters. Hoping I'm wrong and this is a classic but I'm fearing it's a 18 minute grind ahead.

    (4) Pulsar (2-2, OVR 489) vs. (2) Yoshii Nakamatsu (3-1, OVR 521) [Career: Yoshii Nakamatsu, 2 - 0]

    - Both are hard to read, so we'll follow the form and past history

    (8) Reverend Johnny Gross (1-3, OVR 507) vs. (7) Blood River (1-3, OVR 506) [Career: Tied 1 - 1]

    - Must win for both in a religious showdown. Surely the Reverend grounds River here.

    (6) Angela Wassermann (1-3, OVR 481) vs. (5) Billy Norris (2-2, OVR 518) [Career: Billy Norris, 5 - 1]

    - That career record is unreal, Norris in a canter here

    GAMMA DIVISION

    (8) Terrance Stevens (0-4, OVR 485) vs. (1) Monty Dhillon (4-0, OVR 538) [First Career Meeting]

    - I'm getting deja'vu here from last season. Hopefully Monty avoids Priest's fate and crushes Stevens here.

    (5) Markus Clay (2-2, OVR 487) vs. (4) Big Scott Weathers (2-2, OVR 499) [First Career Meeting]

    - Surely Scott's too big here for Clay

    (7) Indigo Rose (1-3, OVR 497) vs. (2) Kichi Hida (3-1, OVR 474) [First Career Meeting]

    - Technicians are great, but Hida's a force this season.

    (3) Diego Rodriguez (3-1, OVR 521) vs. (6) Lance Heartilly (1-3, OVR 450) [First Career Meeting]

    - Not sure what's happened to Heartily this season, but he's running out of time fast if he's looking to compete

    DELTA DIVISION

    (5) Diamond (2-2, OVR 487) vs. (2) Rock Sheridan (3-1, OVR 415) [First Career Meeting]

    - Classic Size vs Speed and Experience. I'll back the veteran here

    (1) Nocturne (4-0, OVR 444) vs. (2) Leon de Ramos (3-1, OVR 413) [First Career Meeting]

    - Looks like it's Nocturne's season, hoping to see Leon with a good showing here at least

    (8) George Stevens (0-4, OVR 402) vs. (6) Sterling Silver (1-3, OVR 452) [First Career Meeting]

    - Surely here's the time for George. Waaay too big for Silver.

    (4) Scott Stevens (2-2, OVR 430) vs. (7) Mickey Steele (1-3, OVR 407) [First Career Meeting]

    - Justice is for everyone, but I'm afraid the Scorpion eludes Steele this week

The clubhouse leader for MOTN, as I have finished all but two matches at the time of this message, is a 4* affair somewhere in the upper two divisions of The League and marks the second 4* match of the season.

    The runner-up is a 24-minute 3* match.

Don't give me that hope. Realistically isn't Priest/Pulsar since Cage Matches don't last more than 10-12 minutes. Money's on Mastachas/Nuclear.

    WEEK FOUR CARD

    ALPHA DIVISION

    (1) Brandy McDonald (2-1, OVR 524) vs. (4) Brian Blackfield (2-1, OVR 572) [First Career Meeting]

    - The Juggernaut's seemingly found his groove

    (3) George Mastachas (2-1, OVR 533) vs. (2) Nuclear Templeton (2-1, OVR 537) [Career: Tied 3 - 3]

    - Big Nuclear fan, back you've gotta back the champ.

LAST ONE STANDING MATCH: (7) The Mastodon (1-2, OVR 523) vs. (8) Jean-Paul Ouilette (1-2, OVR 522) [First Career Meeting. Mastodon is 1-1 in Last One Standing bouts.]

    - This one could get very ugly for JPO.

    (6) Mel O'Hallister (1-2, OVR 527) vs. (5) De'siree Mitchell (1-2, OVR 503) [Career: De'siree Mitchell, 4 - 0]

    - That streak has to break surely? Right?

    BETA DIVISION

CAGE MATCH: (1) Christian Priest (2-1, OVR 577) vs. (2) Pulsar (2-1, OVR 488) [First Career Meeting. Pulsar is 1-0 in Cage matches.]

    - Hopefully this is another grind and beatdown from Priest

    (3) Yoshii Nakamatsu (2-1, OVR 518) vs. (6) Blood River (1-2, OVR 507) [Career: Blood River, 3 - 1]

    - We'll back this record, more interested in seeing how Yoshii bounces back after last week

    (7) Billy Norris (1-2, OVR 515) vs. (8) Reverend Johnny Gross (1-2, OVR 507) [Career: Reverend Johnny Gross, 2 - 0]

    - Looks like there's still life in the Reverend yet!

    (4) Lucas Molina (2-1, OVR 485) vs. (5) Angela Wassermann (1-2, OVR 480) [First Career Meeting]

    - Called Molina dropping to Norris last week, however Technical mirrors are his specialty. Should take this comfortably barring an absolute blitz from Wassermann.

    GAMMA DIVISION

    (4) Diego Rodriguez (2-1, OVR 516) vs. (3) Big Scott Weathers (2-1, OVR 498) [First Career Meeting]

    - Scotty's not big enough to escape the clutches of Rodriguez

    (6) Lance Heartilly (1-2, OVR 450) vs. (2) Monty Dhillon (3-0, OVR 536) [Career: Tied 1 - 1]

    - Monty's been unstoppable since the TTT last season, I don't think even Heartily can stop him at this point.

SUBMISSION MATCH: (7) Indigo Rose (0-3, OVR 493) vs. (7) Terrance Stevens (0-3, OVR 485) [Career: Tied 2 – 2. Rose is 2-0 in Submission matches]

    - Feels like a forgone conclusion here

SUBMISSION MATCH: (1) Kichi Hida (3-0, OVR 473) vs. (5) Markus Clay (1-2, OVR 482) [First Career Meeting. Clay is 1-1 in Submission matches.]

    - "If He Dies, He Dies" A Ref Stoppage is a submission and I expect this to be UGLY.

    DELTA DIVISION

    (3) Diamond (2-1, OVR 486) vs. (1) Nocturne (3-0, OVR 441) [First Career Meeting]

    - Big match for the rest of the Division. Diamond should be too much here, but I've been wrong before.

    (7) Sterling Silver (0-3, OVR 448) vs. (6) Mickey Steele (1-2, OVR 407) [First Career Meeting]

    - STEELE JUSTICE CAN NOT BE DENIED, merely delayed...

    (4) Scott Stevens (2-1, OVR 428) vs. (2) Rock Sheridan (2-1, OVR 410) [First Career Meeting]

    - We'll pick the veteran again. Still got Stevens as my outside chance at the Delta Title

    (8) George Stevens (0-3, OVR 401) vs. (5) Leon de Ramos (2-1, OVR 410) [First Career Meeting]

    - Hopefully David beats Goliath here 😛

  12. WEEK THREE CARD

    ALPHA DIVISION

    (5) The Mastodon (1-1, OVR 523) vs. (7) Brian Blackfield (1-1, OVR 568) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Feels like deja'vu for Blackfield, facing off against some big monsters for the first time since Season 8. Expecting Mastodon to counter his Rush and run through here.

    (8) Mel O'Hallister (0-2, OVR 523) vs. (1) George Mastachas (2-0, OVR 533) [Career: George Mastachas, 3 - 1]

    - Is it too early to call this do or die for O'Hallister? Going 0-3 down is rough, more so here since it'll hurt future tiebreakers against the leading contender. Must win, but I'm picking the champ.

    (4) Nuclear Templeton (1-1, OVR 533) vs. (6) Jean-Paul Ouilette (1-1, OVR 521) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Sub ten minute beatdown and bounce back for the Nuclear Wizard

    (2) Brandy McDonald (1-1, OVR 519) vs. (3) De'siree Mitchell (1-1, OVR 501) [Career: Brandy McDonald, 4 - 2]

    - We'll back the career record here

    BETA DIVISION

    (5) Blood River (1-1, OVR 506) vs. (4) Christian Priest (1-1, OVR 574) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - What's a cult to The First Church?

    (7) Reverend Johnny Gross (0-2, OVR 503) vs. (2) Yoshii Nakamatsu (2-0, OVR 518) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Nakamastsu's on fire at the moment and I don't see Gross as the one to stop that at this time.

    (6) Billy Norris (0-2, OVR 510) vs. (3) Lucas Molina (2-0, OVR 484) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Molina of the past might of dropped this to a flaky high flier, but he's looking dangerous this season.

    (8) Angela Wassermann (0-2, OVR 477) vs. (1) Pulsar (2-0, OVR 487) [Career: Angela Wassermann, 2 - 0]

    - Again, we'll ignore this season's form and back the previous history

    GAMMA DIVISION

    (1) Monty Dhillon (2-0, OVR 531) vs. (8) Indigo Rose (0-2, OVR 492) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Big test for Monty, who's a decent grappler in his own right - just not in the same class as Rose or Rodriguez. That said, The Hammer's too big and too strong here.

    (5) Markus Clay (1-1, OVR 481) vs. (4) Diego Rodriguez (1-1, OVR 512) [Career: Diego Rodriguez, 2 - 0]

    - Ground and grind, should be a dull win here for Diego.

    (6) Big Scott Weathers (1-1, OVR 495) vs. (7) Terrance Stevens (0-2, OVR 485) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Call it a hunch, feeling a Steven's Special in under 9mins

    (3) Lance Heartilly (1-1, OVR 449) vs. (2) Kichi Hida (2-0, OVR 468) [Career: Lance Heartilly, 2 - 0]

    - As much as I like Hida, this is a matchup nightmare.

    DELTA DIVISION

    (2) Leon de Ramos (2-0, OVR 409) vs. (3) Diamond (1-1, OVR 481) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Leon's been a force, but I fear he's outclassed here by the 1st Lady of the League

    (7) Sterling Silver (0-2, OVR 447) vs. (1) Nocturne (2-0, OVR 436) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Nocturne's been on a roll over he last 5 matches

    (7) George Stevens (0-2, OVR 401) vs. (6) Scott Stevens (1-1, OVR 425) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - It's the first Stevens-Off, so we'll pick the more experienced one

    (4) Mickey Steele (1-1, OVR 405) vs. (5) Rock Sheridan (1-1, OVR 405) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELE Justice for all shapes and sizes

    No. That’s not a typo.

The First Church dislikes this lack of entertainment...

    WEEK TWO CARD

    ALPHA DIVISION

    (5) Brian Blackfield (0-1, OVR 562) vs. (1) De'siree Mitchell (1-0, OVR 500) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Unfamiliar territory for Blackfield, but expecting to bounce back here

    (3) The Mastodon (1-0, OVR 522) vs. (4) George Mastachas (1-0, OVR 529) [Career: George Mastachas, 5 - 1]

    - Big stake for Mastodon but you back the champ unless stated unless

    (2) Nuclear Templeton (1-0, OVR 533) vs. (5) Brandy McDonald (0-1, OVR 515) [Career: Tied 3 - 3]

    - Time to see if Nuclear's back in the hunt this season or making up the numbers

    (7) Jean-Paul Ouilette (0-1, OVR 516) vs. (7) Mel O'Hallister (0-1, OVR 522) [Career: Tied 1 - 1]

    - Two underdogs, so I'll back the Alpha veteran

    BETA DIVISION

    (7) Christian Priest (0-1, OVR 570) vs. (7) Angela Wassermann (0-1, OVR 476) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Priest got blitz'd last week, hoping he avoids a repeat here to get on the board.

    HARDCORE MATCH: (3) Yoshii Nakamatsu (1-0, OVR 513) vs. (5) Billy Norris (0-1, OVR 509) [Career: Billy Norris, 2 - 0]

    - I'll bet against the past history and see if Nakamatsu's the real deal this season

FIRST BLOOD MATCH: (4) Lucas Molina (1-0, OVR 478) vs. (1) Blood River (1-0, OVR 504) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - His opponent's got a river of it. He can afford to lose some...

    (5) Reverend Johnny Gross (0-1, OVR 502) vs. (2) Pulsar (1-0, OVR 484) [Career: Reverend Johnny Gross, 2 - 0]

    - The Reverend's too good here for Pulsar

    GAMMA DIVISION

    (4) Big Scott Weathers (1-0, OVR 494) vs. (2) Monty Dhillon (1-0, OVR 527) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Main Event Monty's here folks! And whilst Scott Weathers may be big, he's not Mountie big like Dhillon.

    (5) Indigo Rose (0-1, OVR 492) vs. (8) Diego Rodriguez (0-1, OVR 508) [Career: Tied 2 - 2]

    - Flip a coin here honestly.

    (1) Kichi Hida (1-0, OVR 464) vs. (5) Terrance Stevens (0-1, OVR 483) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - New Division, same demolition job from Hida. Time to back it up against Stevens

    (3) Lance Heartilly (1-0, OVR 449) vs. (5) Markus Clay (0-1, OVR 477) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Expecting the ground and grind special here.

    DELTA DIVISION

    (6) Sterling Silver (0-1, OVR 447) vs. (6) Diamond (0-1, OVR 479) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Sleeper for MOTN here

    (2) Nocturne (1-0, OVR 432) vs. (1) Rock Sheridan (1-0, OVR 405) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - If Rock can keep it standing? should be fine, the danger is if Nocturne can get the giant grounded.

TABLES MATCH: (3) Scott Stevens (1-0, OVR 425) vs. (4) Leon de Ramos (1-0, OVR 406) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - Brutal match type for the smaller wrestler. Stevens should be too big and strong here

    (8) George Stevens (0-1, OVR 400) vs. (5) Mickey Steele (0-1, OVR 402) [Career: First Career Meeting]

    - I'm all in for justice. STEEEEELE JUSTICE

  14. REGULAR SEASON FINALE

(An * denotes winner of the previous matchup this season)

    ALPHA DIVISION

    Daniel Simmons

    The Mastodon

    - If Mastodon's winning the title, going to need Simmons to do his part and more importantly defeat Nuclear. "To be the man, you gotta beat the man!"

    Brandy McDonald

    Mel O'Hallister

    BETA DIVISION

    Brian Blackfield

    Blood River

    Jean-Paul Ouilette

    Pulsar

    GAMMA DIVISION

    Christian Priest

    - Hopefully we'll Priest finishing strong and let Molina decide his destiny for next season, after their war last week.

    Diego Rodriguez

    Erick Gibson

    Lucas Molina

    - Can Molina avenge the shock loss to Diamond and potentially move to Beta? Or does Diamond have one more gift to hand out on her way to Delta?

    DELTA DIVISION

    Monty Dhillon

    - I want both of these to move up, but sadly for Hida this is Monty's time. Just has to avoid a sub 4 minute disaster....

    Lance Heartilly

    Scott Stevens

    - Looking forward to seeing how Stevens gears up for next season with potentially less Big/Super Heavyweights to contend with.

    Devil's Delight

  15. WEEK THIRTEEN CARD

(An * denotes winner of the previous matchup this season)

    ALPHA DIVISION

    FIRST BLOOD MATCH: Nuclear Templeton

    - Almost feels inevitable? Nuclear to almost come back from the brink of his season ending, just to find the form and steamroll his way to a back-to-back? Bring on the showdown in Week 14.

    The Mastodon

    - Still holding out hop here for Mastodon, but I'm fearing he's missed the window at this stage.

    George Mastachas

    Daniel Simmons

    BETA DIVISION

    Brian Blackfield

    HARDCORE MATCH: Yoshii Nakamatsu

    Blood River

    Billy Norris

    GAMMA DIVISION

    EUROPEAN RULES MATCH: Christian Priest

    - It's go time, been waiting all season for this and the stakes are high. For Molina? Win here + Diego beating Rose later on might been enough to secure his promotion, barring shenanigans. In saying that, Priest to celebrate his Divisional Title with big win over a rival and a 4-5 star banger.

    Diego Rodriguez

    - Traditional rivals facing off with their seasons on the line? Love it. I'll back Diego here just for the chaos for next week with potentially three contenders on 7-6 chasing the last spot.

    Markus Clay

    Diamond

    - Two more weeks, two more wins. That's the path to stay clear of Delta. Get it done Diamond.

    DELTA DIVISION

    Monty Dhillon

    - What a monster. Took Heartily on a return trip to Hammer Mills, dumped him on his head twice before Empire Bombing him through the ring in under 6 minutes. Good luck GAMMA next season, Main Event Monty's arrived 😅

    Kichi Hida

    - The Dhillon/Hida promotion dream lives! Just two more matches remain, though whilst still hopefully I'm pessimistic barring one hell of an upset.

    Scott Stevens

    - Bit of a quiet ending for the Scorpion, full expecting Stevens to finish these last two weeks strong and come out swing for Season 11.

    Lance Heartilly

    - Pressure's on here for Lance. Should be safe in all honestly but Devil's Delight showing signs of life late and winning without her manager to boot!

A short Match of the Night contender—I just saw about half of the Monty Dhillon fan club wince

Man knows how to terrify his audience. Brutal loses this week to Mastodon, O'Hallister, Molina and Rodriguez really has turned a few spots up for grabs or eliminated some outright. Also shout-out to Nocturne for being the answer to Heartily and keeping Monty shot of winning the division. (See quote above for what that's usually meant for Dhillon fans before...)

    WEEK TWELVE CARD

(An * denotes winner of the previous matchup this season)

    ALPHA DIVISION

    (5) Mel O'Hallister (6-5, OVR 520) vs. (1) George Mastachas (8-3, OVR 514)* [Career: George Mastachas, 2 - 1]

    - Pressure's on now for Mastachas, shame O'Hallister's out of the race at this point, would of been a doozy otherwise.

    (8) Daniel Simmons (2-9, OVR 498) vs. (2) Nuclear Templeton (8-3, OVR 522)* [Career: Nuclear Templeton, 1 - 0]

    - The kind of match I almost expect Nuclear to drop, we'll stay optimistic.

    (7) Reverend Johnny Gross (3-8, OVR 495)* vs. (4) Brandy McDonald (6-5, OVR 514) [Career: Brandy McDonald, 2 - 1]

    (3) The Mastodon (7-4, OVR 510) vs. (6) De'siree Mitchell (4-7, OVR 487)* [Career: The Mastodon, 3 - 2]

    - Win or go home, I've be calling for a Mastodon champion this season and hopefully it doesn't end two weeks early

    BETA DIVISION

    - Shout out to Beta Division for being disgustingly close (outside of Blackfield). One result separating 2nd to 6th is crazy this far in.

    (1) Brian Blackfield (10-1, OVR 561)* vs. (6) Billy Norris (5-6, OVR 501) [Career: Brian Blackfield, 1 - 0]

    (2) Yoshii Nakamatsu (6-5, OVR 503)* vs. (3) Jean-Paul Ouilette (6-5, OVR 509) [Career: Yoshii Nakamatsu, 1 - 0]

    (5) Angela Wassermann (5-6, OVR 469) vs. (4) Blood River (5-6, OVR 496)* [Career: Blood River, 2 - 1]

    (7) Pulsar (4-7, OVR 469) vs. (8) Big Scott Weathers (3-8, OVR 477)* [Career: Big Scott Weathers, 3 - 2]

    GAMMA DIVISION

    (1) Christian Priest (10-1, OVR 565) vs. (5) Terrance Stevens (5-6, OVR 472)* [Career: Terrance Stevens, 1 - 0]

    - Ideally Priest locks up his first Divisional title this week and gets one back over Stevens from earlier this season.

    (3) Lucas Molina (6-5, OVR 467)* vs. (4) Diego Rodriguez (6-5, OVR 505) [Career: Lucas Molina, 1 - 0]

    - As bad as losing to Rose was for Molina, a win over Rodriguez is a hell of a remedy.

    (7) Markus Clay (3-8, OVR 465) vs. (2) Indigo Rose (7-4, OVR 486)* [Career: Indigo Rose, 2 - 1]

    (8) Diamond (3-8, OVR 470) vs. (6) Erick Gibson (4-7, OVR 484)* [Career: Erick Gibson, 3 - 2]

    - There's a window for Diamond to stay in GAMMA, but that's rapidly closing.

    DELTA DIVISION

    (1) Lance Heartilly (9-2, OVR 441)* vs. (2) Monty Dhillon (9-2, OVR 522) [Career: Lance Heartilly, 1 - 0]

    - Picking Monty in a must win, late Division deciding match? I'm ready to hurt again

    (7) Scott Stevens (4-7, OVR 418) vs. (3) Kichi Hida (8-3, OVR 458)* [Career: Kichi Hida, 1 - 0]

    - There's a world where Heartily misses despite his outstanding season, I'm choosing this believe.

    (4) Jun Onoo (5-6, OVR 471)* vs. (8) Devil's Delight (0-11, OVR 416) [Career: Jun Onoo, 1 - 0]

    (5) Nocturne (5-6, OVR 422) vs. (6) El Tornado (4-7, OVR 444)* [Career: El Tornado, 1 - 0]

ALL TRAINING AND PREDICTIONS ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 27, 11:59 PM EASTERN US TIME!
