Based out of Houston, Texas, her idea was to combine the traditional American style of women's wrestling with that of the Luchadoras of Mexico to create an exciting hybrid. QAW was an instant success and has quickly developed a good fan base in several cities in the state. Known for being willing to take chances (such as the intentional blurring of the traditional Technico and Rudo lines or their heavy use of stables) and promote fresh new talent, QAW are playing a big part in the evolution and continued rise of women's wrestling in North America. Jackson "Boss Man" Brayfield signed on as head booker at the start and remained in that position until the end of 2019 when he announced that he was stepping down. Taking his place was the current on screen Commissioner, Cherry Bomb, who Hesketh has been grooming since 2018.
