I'd say do what you think is best for the game, as opposed to what's more realistic, at least in this instance. If you turned him into a semi-active wrestler and kept him on WWE's roster, would his points still count in the National Battle? That way, he's technically 'gone', but still associated with the company. Not sure how that would affect them renewing or renewing his contract when it comes up, however, you might have to keep an eye on that if you went that way.

As far as GAEA goes, I think buying it makes sense. Using it as a second, female developmental could work, depending on how thin it stretches your current developmental's roster. That way you have access to any of their talent you want, but don't have to debut everyone in WCW at once.
